Hey I'm back okay, today, I'm going to do a quick video tell you guys why I stopped perm in my hand, so it's not all the way all the weight room like I stopped. Relaxing this whole part of my hand. Right here I haven't had a relaxer in that part of my hair and probably one or four months now, and I'm going to tell you the three main reasons why I decided to do that. So if your agency's keep watching okay, another one reason is that I want it for five and more flow against more hype in this part of my hair within the floor. Now, if you look at my hair visors why my fingers were lifted, you could go like it'll just go right back and I'm able to do that because there's so much texturing as part of my hair. So that was one of the main reasons amplify. Can you know believe that if I want to make rope leak, let's all by I, just that and mmm, we have bought it on water, okay. The second reason is that I want to play with color and we all know that you can't color your hair. While it's relaxed, but it's much safer and honestly, is much easier to maintain the integrity of your hair, if you will color hair that is not relaxed so eventually, I want this whole section to just be natural and I can little color. I think you know bleach it all the way all the way up and then I can have whatever color I want to add to it. I'M still thinking about it if you've been following it for a while year. There'S a video where I talk about my going gray or home and white, and I still really do toy with that idea. A lot. I thought its lady the other day on two completely gray, but her hair was white and it was sold pretty and I was like I'm gon na. Do that one day right even thought. Oh, oh! No! You know that the keeps attorneys graze my way or I'm going to help the process up and go ahead and start listing my hair. So that is the second reason. Okay and a third and final reason that I thought relaxing my hair is that I want my hair to grow out healthy wild inch long in the top, not to my hair. I consider it to be unhealthy relaxed, but when you want to grow your hair out there things you can do to kind of just help that process along so one is to relax less frequently. The other is to use red heat, and the third is to just moisturizer, really bathe the air so that door with the top part clipping the ends frequently moisturizing it saving it and just not relaxing my parents frequently, and I normally would and honestly I think, I'm Going to be able to get away with title relaxing it at all, because now I just wash it condition it. I still rabbit you Hunan, I Roby. I do put a little bit of wrapping foam on this part. Then I just take the flat iron and I really really kept the roof once it's dry and then I would always with this heroine instead Jelena. I feel like this part. I feel relaxed the back and right here, I'll relax like yeah the edge like allowing this lunch right here on this little X right there combing through write it in and they'll bring everything out. So there you have it guys. The three reasons I stopped of relaxing my hair, no fear, I'm still going to be doing videos, I'm still going to keep it short I'll, suitable to top out longer I'll show them complete a relaxer size. On the back, like I said, and I'm still gon na continue to style, my hair show you guys style and show you guys. You know what I'm doing with my hair. So Mama's still continue to try to teach you guys. You have questions as always leave them, but this is something losing up trying something that I'm doing, and so I wanted to like that down and let you know why my hair, because it is looking like it and you can see my positive side other like this And it goes right away, and I could not do that if I have some activity a little more limp of top. So as always, thank you guys so much for watching, supporting and subscribing a hope. You enjoyed this video. SimplyLiving_ byRenee: I'm feeling you on that!!! Makes so much sense. Can't wait to see further videos!

goated with the sticks: it'll work out just fine I hardly ever relax the top of my hair my reason is due to my hair being thin/fine so of course relaxing it bone straight doest really work for me. I do relax the sides and back and I stretch it sometimes for six months just depends on my hair...just don't go completely natural we need you to keep showing us how to style our pixies lol I hope the natural sistas don't come for me behind that part of my comment I was natural for about three years before cutting my hair and it's just not for everyone...keep up the good work Kaye can't wait to see what color you come up with

agoddessadiva: I'm glad I watched this. I've been trying to find a solution for a while and you just gave me an excellent idea. I will be trying this and thanks for the info!❤️️

Mianotmyaaa: Girl I have a protective style right now in my head because I'm contemplating growing out my pixie cut. I'm very frustrated with my pixie because I can't seem to find a decent stylist to do my hair bc I'm too lazy to do it myself! But I'm proud of you for trying to go without a relaxer so you can do some different styles! Can't wait for the hair color videos!!!!!!

Amanda Johnson: I've gone natural. Loving how thick and fuller it is. Congratulations. Your hair looks good and your videos are phenomenal!!! Keep up the good work. I enjoy watching you

BBDeer87: Gurrrrlllll... you scared me at first! Lol. You know I can't handle this pixie without you. Seriously though, good luck on your journey. Whatever direction you decide to go in, you will still be fabulous!

I'm Julewri: That title sure got me! I've been relaxing and coloring my hair since my eyes were at my knees!! My mom use to tell me pretty soon I'll be Grey. I only have TWO strands of grey and I've had them for aaaages. I returned to my natural hair for 4 years but started relaxing again last December. Did I tell you that for the entire four years I was a red head? The key is to know when to do each process as well as treating your hair... #alldbest

Lorissa Nelson: Catching up on all your videos and MAN!!! You made me wanna relax again I've been struggling with the thought since I cut it lmbo

Blessed Yes!: I started screaming NOOOO!!!! before i even watched lol. I totally understand and our hair is about the same length so im on board and would like to try this myself. Thanks dear!

PrayingForPatience: I deal with my scalp perspiring a lot, so that wouldn't work, but I totally understand and agree with wanting to color, and not relax!

honeycaramel13: Bravo Sis! But it's crazy we are always doing the same thing with our hair. on point once again

christina smith: You are still the short hair bible for me. Do what you need to make you happy

MrsSanders1980: Hi Kaye! I know this is suuuuper late but I had to come across some trial and error for a while. Relaxing makes my hair so thin looking. And I don't leave the relaxer on no more than 10 minutes tops that includes application and smoothing and it's still bone straight. I apply oils to my relaxer, same outcome, I heavily base my scalp and new growth , same ol thing. I've tried texlaxing and it still comes out bone straight. I have fine hair. I do stretch my relaxers for 4 months at a time and notice a HUGE difference with fullness, thickness, and body when I have a lot of new growth. But the minute I try to texlax it's way too straight. So texlaxing didn't work for me so I'm thinking of going completely natural on top but continue to relax the sides and back. Any tips on going natural? I don't wanna do the big chop and I know the line of demarcation can be something else. I want to gradually trim off the relaxed ends as my hair grows. I just relaxed 12/17/18 for the LAST time and I'm having to sport a top knot bun until I get some new growth because my hair is so pin straight and thin looking that it wont hold a curl at all and pretty it's much " see through" Please help and thank you and sorry this post is sooo long

CAcutie1978: I'm doing the same thing. the top part of my hair grows out wavy and soft than the back and sides so its easier for me to manipulate. my only concern is whether I should continue to do the  partial relaxers because I always burn. not sure if I should just shave the hair really low but I think it would be a noticeable difference in textures

Summer Time: How do you get the top of your hair so straight without a relaxer? I can never get my hair that straight.

FortiesLocdandFine: I do the same thing. I don't put perm on the top of my hair. Awesome video.

Ton Teezy: I wish I could do the same thing. Since I workout and sweat in my scalp, the natural on top wouldn't work for me. :((

marwil8768: Yeah, that title was somewhat misleading my hair is fine, so I've always gotten partials and left the top/ crown of my head to be retouched at about 10 weeks. Like u I needed/ wanted that volume in my hair. I was totally natural for 5 years. When I was natural I rocked a tapered cut full at the top ( untwisted). Wanted a changed and went back to the relaxer a year ago. Bottom line Kaye "Healthy hair" is key! I look forward to seeing more videos. Thanks!!

Gwenny Sanders: You are AMAZING. I'm gonna try this

Meka: How do you stop relaxing the middle without all the new growth ? You have to put more heat on it ???? Does it lay when you foam it ?? Mines dont

J Benton: Love your videos :-)

L Hudson: i don't relax my hair.. i have wavy thin hair..so i blow it straight with coconut oil and ors wrap foam and a boar bristle brush. works like charm. a good curler/flat iron..i am cool. plus i have color in my hair..

Tesha Diamond: Heeeeeelllllppppp....!!!! I had bleache'd and coloured my hair now it's dry and feels rough ...what should I do Ms Kaye??

Mrs. O: You were missed Ms Kaye.. hair looks healthy as usual. Are you going to change any of current products?

glory: lol, you still perm your hair, just half of it!!!!! Love, love, love your videos!!!!! keep rolling, them out, please!

Andrea Williams: Thanks.. That is a great idea so thin and can't get the fullness on top.

Kamilla Brown: How do you get your hair to last you a week after flat ironing it what scarf you use mines only last three days

Uri Honeysucker-Hollis: Hey lady...thanks for sharing

Simple Me: Luv that necklace, I have 2 textured hair on my head.

Cyna Mon: nooo Lol You inspire me but i definitely understand!

jmarie617: Do you still use the paul mitchell foaming pomade, and nairobi together?

Kamilla Brown: I'm going to try this

Katrina Banks: Lawd...i got scared. I love your hair videos!

Bettie McBride: thank you!

Mrs D: Hi Kaye I defo understand the body on the top of the hair. When I do a full relax, my hair on top gets flat which I don't like also. Was you referring to 2chicchiks YouTube channel. There's a beautiful woman on there who.has beautiful short silver hair and she rocks it!! Check their channel out xx When you don't relax the top of your hair do you experience itching, or breakage or even shedding because sometimes I get that if I don't relax my hair around the 8 week mark.

Yvette Arnold: Thanks for sharing

Vee Jay: I am doing the same thing

Royal 1 CC: oh lord, you scared me

Michelle Stars: Just go natural n you can still rock a pixie short curly cut! I've been natural since oct 2015 best decision ever!!!!!!!!! , just big chop your entire hair n go natural 100%!!!!! Perms r 2 damaging! Team natural! Forget about perms/relaxer! In a few months u will b going 100% natural!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!
