Hi guys is naturally married here and today's video is a natural hair tutorial. I know you all get excited about those. Today'S video, I'm gon na, be doing a per mindset on my natural here using karekare. This is their natural textures line. I'M super excited about this line because I've tried karekare when I was actually relaxed and I love karekare. So it's awesome to be able to now experience their products now that I'm natural, so I'm starting with the cleansing cream - and this is a sulfate free cleanser. It'S more so, on the thicker side, it doesn't lather a great deal, but it's like a co-wash. It does actually cleanser here and provide moisture at the same time. So I really like that about this product. After applying the cleansing cream, I'm now gon na proceed to add the leave-in conditioner. This helps to balance hair pH also helps to seal cuticles and helps to preserve elasticity and strengthen and promote healthy hair. Following this, I'm gon na be using the detangling spray. That was one of my favorite products because, as a board, the 4c natural, my hair, can be quite difficult to detangle, but this product just helped those tangles just melt away. It made it so much easier to detangle and that process was so much faster than I've. Ever experienced it so now I'm going to part my hair and put it in four sections. You all know I love working in sections. It makes it so much easier for me and I'm gon na add some crocodile clips. I'M gon na proceed to actually go about. Detangling my hair further and then we're gon na begin to styling process didn't wanna, so the product that I'll be using to style. My here is the defining custard. This product might be better for a wash and go. It provides a great deal of pool. However, I noticed for my perm rod said that there were a bit of flakes. It did do a very good job holding the perm rod set, but I feel that I should have probably added some oil prior to actually installing the perm rods. I think that would have reduced the flakes, but you live. You learn I'll, be sure to do that next time, but if you guys gon na use this product to do a perm rod set be sure to add some oil to your here. So this is my first time trying this technique in order to do a perm rod set, and I love how it turned out. So you want to make sure that you put the perm rod close to your root and then begin calling it around. In a spiraling motion and then the perm rod will look so amazing and it'll be tight and it'll look awesome. Your roots will be slicked down the way that they should, if you start with the perm rod close to the root okay. So I'm gon na show you again I'll, show you two more times and then I'll speed it up so that you guys can just watch the process. So I'm applying the defining custard and then I'm going to put my perm rod very close to the root. I'M gon na make sure super close and tight, and then I'm gon na begin wrapping it around in a spiraling motion and you want to make sure that your ends are smooth down and that there's enough product on those ends, because that's really gon na help to Make for a very good perm rod set this technique is the same curling strategy that I would use when curling my Kanekalon hair. When doing crochet braids, you can choose to twist, as you wrap it around your perm rod. I'M not really doing a whole lot of that, but if you want more definition, then twist it as you go around it, it'll really look like a really nice coil. When the perm rods come out, so I'm just wrapping it really tight and just pulling it around the perm rod and being sure to smooth the ends down and I'm closing the latch or on the perm on. And you usually want to make sure that the band for the perm rod goes over the hair rather than under the perm rod. It'Ll make for a more cure, install see, y'all. Look at that definition. I can only imagine what a wash and go with a defining custard would look like on my texture. It looks so pretty right now. I have to try that I'm not sure how many part mods I installed altogether, but I believe there was about four packs that I used. I absolutely love using the pink perm rods whenever I do a perm rod set, because I love the size of the curls that they're able to produce so it's the next morning I allowed my hair to air dry overnight. I did also sit under the dryer for about an hour on medium temperature, so I'm gon na begin to now take the perm rods down and I'm really excited to see how it turns out for best results and to reduce frizz. You want to make sure that you are being as careful as possible that curl is looking amazing already. I did end up putting oil on my hands just to reduce frizz, so I'm gripping the hair near the root and I'm spiraling the hair away from the perm rod in the opposite direction. As I take it down, I wish you would make up your mind. I can tell by the look in your eyes: you're not happy with the man standing by yeah. I'Ve been watching you and he'll, and so these are the results. Without separating now, I'm gon na proceed to separate the hair and I'm just kind of being careful as I've. What about this process? I'M just finding the area in each of the sections where the hair naturally separates, and then I'm gon na call the hair around my finger and we are going to be ready to do the next step. Now that I've separated all of my hair. Now it's time for a bit of fluffing, which includes picking I love picking my hair to add volume. So I'm gon na do that and then I'm gon na use the edge tamer. You are, I'm absolutely loving this style. I was actually telling my boyfriend the other day that I've been itching to cut my hair. I wanted to do a taper cut and I was gon na do it myself, but I opted not to do that and create a tapered look using perm rods and it turned out so great. Absolutely love it when you're in the market for a cut, guys trays and perm rods. I'M sure that will help to give you guys that fix without having to cut your hair when picking your hair be sure to only pick the roots, because you do not want to pick the hair in the curls, because that will disturb and mess your curls. All the way up, so then, all your hard work is just wasted. Okay, now it's time for the most important step to lay those edges, I was so impressed to see how this edge tamer worked on my natural hair as it did when I was relaxed. It was really really awesome to now use this product and it slicked my edges down very well. I loved it I'll. Take you I'll make you smile. You keep in my eyes. Is your mind. Jeez you come through edges. My hair looks so flying come on girl. This paper cut. Look, it's looking amazing. So if you want to take it a step further and not have more so the bane look, you could proceed to add the egg chamber on the front of your hair. It'S whale near the hairline. So that's what I did and it gave off a slightly different. Look: it's just a stool. So this is the final look guys. I hope that you all love it as much as I do. The top that I'm wearing is from romwe. It'S a coffee, choker v-neck, zipper, sleeve sweater. I love this design. I actually have another one in lilac, so beautiful, so I hope that you guys enjoyed this tutorial I'll, be sure to leave all the information regarding Caracara down in the description box be sure to share this video with a friend like comment and subscribe. I'Ll see you all in my next video bye, guys
