We'Ve come up with a way to achieve a faux perm at home, and it's completely heatless., So you won't be damaging your hair at all. There'S not a heat tool in sight.. You can use this method on your own hair if it's flat as a pancake like mine, is - and you can use it on your Milk, + Blush hair extensions as well to give you that length and even more volume. And as we're not using any heat. We'Re gon na be using a rather interesting tool.. These are perm rods., They're, basically made of plastic there's a hook at the top that you hook your hair onto you twist your hair around the rod, and then you use these little plastic curl bits to secure your hair at the end.. Ideally, you want to start off with damp hair for this hairstyle., But my hair isn't damp, so I'm just going to be using a spray bottle with some water. And then to stop the hair going frizzy, I'm going to be using a little bit of argan oil On the ends., This will keep your curls and your hair really soft and you won't create any frizz or static when you finger comb the curls out at the end., If you're going to be using this method on your Milk, + Blush hair extensions. Obviously, we don't recommend that you get the extensions too wet.. So if you're going to be using these perm rods on your wefts, we recommend opting for a heat, protectant spray instead.. So, as mentioned, you need to start off with damp hair, so I'm gon na take my spray bottle of water and just dampen my hair.. Once your hair is really nice and damp, you can grab your argan oil or any hair oil that you fancy. And I'm gon na focus this mainly on the ends, because I don't want my roots to get terribly oily or greasy. So just on the ends will work fine. And now it's time for the perm rods.. As you can see, I've parted my hair on the side.. Once this hairstyle is done, I'm actually gon na flip my hair over to the opposite side.. So if you have a side of your face that you prefer to part your hair on start with it on the opposite side, if that makes sense., So once the hairstyle's done, you can flip it, then you're good to go. Grab a section right by my part To start. You don't want to take sections that are too big for this. About that thickness is perfect., And once you have your section, you can use the little hook on the top of the perm rod to hook it on like so.. Then you want to get it as close to the root, as you can and then simply twist, your hair around the rod following the pattern., So your hair should be sitting in the little crevices here. Just twist it around. And once you get to the end, grab The little plastic curl and just clip it on. If you've got finer hair like mine, that's quite fine at the ends. You may find that you need to put two little clamps on just so the hair stays. And there's your first perm rod done.. Now it's a really simple process, but it does take a little bit of time and patience.. I'M gon na speed this process up for your guys and I'll be back in a second.. Then you can just repeat this process on your Milk: + Blush hair extensions., Simply spray your wefts with heat protectant rather than water, then hook a curling rod onto a small section of hair near the top of the weft. Twist it around and clip it in place. And you just want to leave these wefts on a flat surface for as long as you have the curling rods in your own hair., Its been about three hours. My hair is completely dry. So it's time to take these bad boys out and show you the amazing curl they create. So to take them off. You just unclip the little plastic piece. If I can find it. There, we go like that. I'Ve actually got two in this one. And then you simply unwind the hair. And slide that off. And you can see that is a curl. Like that's tight. It'S bouncy., (, laughs, ), I'm gon na take all of these rods off and I'll, be back with you guys in a second. Once you've taken the curling rods out, your hair will look a little something like this.. As you can see, mine has gone super short, so I want to clip my Milk + Blush hair extensions in.. But before you do this, you want to break up the curls a little bit., So get your hands on a hair oil, I'm using an argan oil, but you can use any hair oil. You like. Just pump a few drops into your hands, rub your hands together and then finger comb. Your curls. Using an oil, will stop your hair going frizzy and will still keep your curls nice and big and fluffy. Once you're happy with how your curls are broken up. You can go ahead and clip in your Milk, + Blush hair extensions.. If you need a guide on how to clip in your Milk + Blush hair extensions, then click the I in the corner of the screen.. All my Milk + Blush hair extensions are clipped in and oh my gosh, I am loving this big hair.. The finishing touch is just to add a little bit more argan oil to the ends., And this will help redefine the curls and will keep your hair extensions, nice and soft as well.. It will also stop your own hair going frizzy as you wear the style throughout the day.. The great thing about this faux perm is that because the curls are so tight and defined, they will literally last you for days.. I'Ve worn this style before, and it's literally lasted me probably about three to four days until I washed my hair.. It'S so great, if you just don't want to style your hair for a couple of days.. All you need to do is take out your Milk + Blush hair extensions and leave them on a flat surface, so the curl isn't compromised in any way. And with your own hair. Just simply pop all of your hair up into a top knot using an invisibobble or a scrunchie., And the next day you can just let that down your curls will still be intact.. Don'T forget, you can pick up your own set of Milk +, Blush, hair extensions at milkandblush.com. And I'll catch you in our next video
