I have done my boyfriend's dreads for years and just recently started doing my brother's dreads. I get a lot of girlfriends asking me to teach them how to do dreads so they can do it for their significant other. Instead of teaching everyone individually, I thought I would make a video for everyone to gain knowledge. It makes it easier for me, and it reaches others with the same problems. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi guys it's Cindy and welcome back to my channel today, I'm here with my brother Matt and his girlfriend Annette and today we're going to show you guys how to jet hair. My brother right now has a lot of Negro, as you can see. So if you have a lot of deutero or your boyfriend or friend how about a blue grow and that's what we're going to teach you today, I'm going to teach Jeanette how to do it, so she can do it next time for him. Okay, so, as you can see, Matt has a lot of new growth, and what we're going to do is we're going to make sure that whenever we twist with twist from where his hair is a hist Kalp to the end of the new growth, to make sure That'S all the way twisted and that's how is going to draw all together and state wist it, because if you twist only the roots, then it's going to be very puffy in the middle and then the bottom will be dreaded. So you have to make sure that you twist from the roots down the first thing we're going to use, is this locking twist gel and it is going to help us lock the hair. The second thing is the spritz holding spray, and this is just going to give like an extra hold to the hair and then we're going to hold it in place with these clips sojanet just take a little bit and just put it on every single dread, starting From the bottom just kind of this much down - and you don't want to put it on the whole head because then it's going to dry out by the time you get to the front. So you want to just put like a good section that you're just going to get to pretty fast, okay, so once you've coated the hair you're going to want to take take the first piece of hair. Okay, do you going to use your pump put the hair in between your palms and you're going to twist it to whichever side is comfortable, just make sure you twist it to the same side, you see how you have here standing out. You have to make sure that you put all of the hair that are negative, make sure that everything's together and then put it in between your palms and then twist it and hold it just like that. So you twist and then you hold with one hand and then you do it again twist and hold with one hand just like Jeanette's doing perfect, but now, whenever you're clipping at the bottom, one where there's no hair at the nape in to end a big once You twist it you're just going to hold it up, just like that. Okay, so if it's like this again, is you start like this? You twist it and then you hold it like that and you hold it with the other finger. Then you did the same thing. You start right here you twist it and then you hold it like this: okay, okay, so once you've done one line to make sure that it has enough product to dry, you twist that hair with it you twist it and it's going to be one tree. Just like that now you want to pin it with one of the clips that are single and then you're going to repin, both of them together, just like that and if they still hold it like this, now bring this right here and on this hand, there's three Fingers when you're right here and then twist it again then switch hands. So you can see so you hold this hand. Then you switched, and you take you here and you twist like this. So you twist your hold, you switch hands you twist. You have to make sure you don't put too much on one clip, so this is fine. You fold it make sure you pull it tight and hold all of them that you're about to let go so whatever you let go of this clip and you're not holding on to it. The dreads are going to go and done right. You have to hold it tight and you see they're still secured right once you hold them. You put a clip right back where I came from just like that. This one you just twist it make sure it's very tight right and then you see this is already too full. So you want to start a new one, so you're going to take this and you're just going to clip this into the hair. That'S on the scalp and then click your dumped exam. Okay, a good way to get it secured is, if you take the dread, so you put it on top of the other dress, and then you clip that on top just like that perfect, but you have to make sure that I went to five they're all together. Like top of each other and that's how it clips you, okay, so that's so you see how it sleeps curled right here. Let me do didn't, pull it enough, so just take that one out. Sometimes you may have to twist it just a bit like this to make sure that they're all like on top of each other. If, like one of the drugs like at the loose end, then you're going to start unraveling that from make sure they're like they're all on top of each other and even pages like that, these are like the shorter part. So this you can just grab a comb decision it out just like that to the comb. Through this thing back and let the hair go and then you're going to start twisting flip home. Whenever it's not tight, you can do it with your fingers again make a bit tighter and you're not going to clip them. You know if they're long enough to clips and clip it's not, then you can sleep all right guys. So that is the end of this tutorial. We'Ve dreaded max here now we have it dry it. So if your hair is pretty thin, you want to dry it for about 30 to 35 minutes. If you have pretty thick hair, you want to dry for about an hour if you're using a handheld hairdryer, definitely an hour, but if you're going under it be drier than three three minutes or an hour. I hope you guys have learned a lot didn't. Have you learned a little bit yeah? Thank you, you're very welcome. So this take a little bit practice the first time you might not get it the second time, but differing a third time. You should be able to pick it up pretty easily, so I hope it works out, for you guys have a beautiful day, bye, hi guys, it's a neat today, I'm going to show you how to turn your rigid end from your braids into nice and silky ones. This especially goes for it. The Kanekalon hair used to do braids, senegalese, twists, box, braids, just really any break. You can think that
