Hey guys so in today's video I'm going to be doing a how I style my short hair tutorial this time it's going to be High Street in my short hair cuz notice is straight, is sleek. You know, basically, I'm just going to take you guys through how it is that I style my short hair from you know just fresh out of the shower to what it looks like now. Um and it's really simple, so yeah. I can't wait to show you guys, so, let's just get into the tutorial, so I'm starting off with a leave-in conditioner mine is from healthy sexy hair and I'm just applying it mostly to my ends, but really just throughout the hair, because I really like to use This as a detangler, but it also helps to soften and make your hair more manageable before styling. So I like to comb this through my hair before I do anything with heat. So after that, I'm also going to be applying a serum to my hair. Now, the serum that I'm using is from ume it's one of their intensive repair oils and I like to apply it to my at the ends of my hair. When my hair is damp and I'm fresh out of the shower, because it really helps to remove any frizz ease and to keep your hair nice and smooth - and I just really like to use it before I blow-dry - I don't know why it just makes my hair Look really soft and silky after I use heat, so I'm applying that and combing bathroom. So now for blow-drying, I'm using my uni tourmaline ionic go dryer, and I really like these blow dryers for me because they're, small and they're compact, which is nice and they also really dry your hair really really fast. So, basically that all I'm doing here and then it's ready for styling. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to section off my hair and I'm going to begin with the lower section and I'm just using my unique couture collection, Flatiron and I'm just going straight down the air shaft and I'm making sure to put in my Ends because this is what makes the welcome actually look put together and I find that it works really well with my layers and everything is my flat iron, my hair and flip. The ends inward instead of copper, I'm just taking my weather proof spray from big sexy hair, and I like to do this after I Flatiron each section because it prevents any frizz ease. It prevents any you know poofiness from humidity and stuff, so it really locks in the style. So then I'm going to take down the second section of hair and then I'm also going to just do the same thing here. I'M just going to take the flat iron and run it down the shaft of hair and then I'm going to make sure to clip in the end. So now. What is that? I'M done with that section, I'm going to go to the last top half or top section of my hair and I'm going to go ahead and just straighten that as well. So we want to make sure, with this hairstyle that we are making sure and flat iron the hair and flip in the ABS, because that is super super important. It like I said it looks super good together when you flip in your head. So, as you can see, I'm just driving strand of hair and I'm just running the Flatiron through it and making sure to flip them in. So it's very very simple and I really love the way that this Flatiron makes the hair look, because if you can tell it just makes it look so shiny, I'm so soft. It actually really does feel soft, no joke, but yeah. It'S really really cool, and this one is from the new me couture collection in case you're wondering but as usual, if you miss something it will be in the description box. So that is that and then after I am and done flat ironing that those strands of hair that I'm going to go in with the back strands and what I'm gon na do is just grab the top half from the crown and I'm going to go ahead. And straighten and flip the ends in so what this does it just kind of creates a little bit of volume back there, because you don't want the back of your head to look flat. So you want to add some body in there and you can do that with a flat iron. So I'm also doing the same thing with the two front: sections of hair, I'm making sure to actually flat iron them in the opposite direction, so that that way, when they fall forward, they kind of have a little bit of body a little bit of bounce to Them if you can tell so that is what I do there and then after that I just finish off with my weather proof from big, be here to keep my style in place, and then that is pretty much it. I usually run it through with the comb again but other than that. It'S pretty much done and the look is complete. So thank you guys so much for watching. Kayla Marie: The first flat iron I have ever owned was a CHI! It lasted me 4 years and would've lasted longer had I not dropped hot wax on it...lol long story. Anywho, I've never tried a KQC flat iron but both Chi and NuMe flat irons work great! I just strongly suggest getting one with heat settings you can control.
