Today, i want to go over a really amazing hair tip for men when it comes to hair styling and honestly this can apply to anyone really with short hair, doesn't matter male or female. So what i tend to see - and i've seen this throughout my career, is when somebody is trying to style their hair. The first thing they do and and leave a comment if you're one of those people is you just lightly start to tap down like this? Okay, like you, you get product in your hands or you see your hair and you're literally, just like you start going like this you're literally doing the exact opposite of what your hair style is cut for right, you're, getting a haircut to have a certain style and Most of the times and i've seen it right in front of me when i have the hair, all spiked up and nice and textured something really cool. The first thing the client will do is like oh yeah. It looks good i like that, like that could be because they don't like the hair sticking up or whatever, but at the same time they because i've seen it. Oh it looks great. I love it. Man looks amazing, then they go in. They start going. Oh wait! So how do i do this again and then start doing this? I'M like what are you doing? You just destroyed the entire haircut and the hairstyle that i just did all that product i put in so think of it. This way, if you're, looking for volume, you're looking for texture, you want to have some movement. Your hair, the best thing to do, is to try to mess up your hair. I know it sounds crazy, but what you want to do is you want to actually go in and really work. The hair like this use the palm of your hand, kind of rub some rub circles on the scalp like this and you're, creating a lot of texture and you can really get your hands in there and be aggressive all right. You don't want to just do light. Little love taps like this on your hair, because that does nothing. You got to really get in there and be aggressive, and that's the one thing that i learned with short hair is that the more aggressive you are and the more you take control of it. The better control you're going to have of getting the outcome and the style that you want, so you could see by me putting my hands in all the way down to the scalp and really lifting and creating that texture. Like this look at the volume look at the difference. Okay, instead of me going like this, i mean it like instantly, destroys the style. So here i've got my clutch cream clay and i'm just going to do a quick little demonstration on how i would go about styling this, let's get a little bit closer here. So you can see. The haircut is short. You can wear it in a variety of different ways, but i want to create something: that's got a lot of texture and movement and i'll demonstrate exactly how i would do it so clutch it's a cream, hair clay, and i wanted this to be really really easy To work through the hands and also to be able to apply to the hair, so i got a nice scoop and i'm gon na work the product in through the hands, as well as the fingers, and i'm literally just going to work this through to where it's Pretty fully emulsified and now that i feel it's ready to go, i'm going to go in right to the front. First, all right, i don't apply this way. I go right to the front because the front is the first thing people see, and i want to make sure that - and this is the first thing to fall flat to so i want to make sure that i've got that product applied to the front of the Hair first and then i'm going to work my hands throughout the rest of it and, as you can see from me being just within seconds, i was a little more aggressive. I have a lot of volume, a lot of texture and the style is complete. So please, let me know if you try this. Let me know if you found this video helpful, don't forget to use code youtube20, that's youtube20 at shop.thesalongai.com!
