Styling my short asymmetrical hair. My cut is a pixie cut on one side to a layered wispy bob on the other side. Styling short hair is really easy and so much faster than long hair which is why I've kept short hair for so long. This is an easy way to bring out the best of your short haircut. I'll show you blowdrying and styling techniques which I've learned are the best for styling short hair over the years.
To get this short asymmetrical haircut ask your stylist to cut your hair gradually going shorter to longer around your head in a nice fluid motion. My ear is slightly exposed on one side of my head and fully covered on the other side. It's like a pixie cut and a bob put together into one beautiful asymmetrical short hair style. Styling this cut it really easy and looks good even when grown out a bit.

Hi everybody. It'S me Laura posthumous, your hair stylist for today's video, I'm going to show you how I style my new short hair. So you can see I cut off all my long locks. I was just feeling like I wanted something different so here it is. So my hair is most implode: dry, I'm going to finish, gluing it and then I'll show you the products that used to make it kind of fun and a little bit funky. This hairstyle is really nice because I can wear it smooth and soft to kind of pull it in and it looks really cute or it can work really funky. So here we go because it's short on the sign-in log over here I like to blow dry everything over this way and kind of keep giving it that style same with the back here. My hair naturally grows this way, so I don't really need much help, but I like to style it that way too. You can flatter in your hair afterwards if your hair is curly, but mine's really straight, so I just try to use a blow dryer, get it as smooth as possible, so that I don't have to give it any more damage than it. I also let these my mom brush just a little bit to give it okay. Now my hair is perfectly dry. First thing I like to do is put some paste in it. I really like the kms, because it's really pliable, you can keep moving it around after you style. It'S not going to go really stiff on you, so you just put a little bit in your hands, push it all together and then put it all over the place. I like to get a bit on my roots so that I can stick up a bit but then same, I like some of my ads, so I can piece them together. So they don't look. Fuzzy, Oh make sure you don't get a chunk like. I did and you can pretty much just manipulate your hair to go wherever you want. It fits short. If you got a good tight, you should be able to move it all over the place. I'M going to keep this going this way, because that's how it's cut to find my little rat tail. I'M growing here see that free cute stand with up in the front, get a little bit to my bangs and here, okay, and once I have all my pace throughout my hair, I like to lock it with a hairspray, because the base is going to help to Give this shape a lump but, like I said this, stuff's movable so after a little while, because my hair well longer than an inch, it's probably going to fall down. If I don't lock it in place with my spray join my hands on for my hair spray, I like to bash in because I think it works best and I'm just going to spray and lock everything a voice. I'M going to give this a little moving back here. See is all starting to come into place here, like nice, nice and defined, sometimes even like the tuck this behind and show off my ear a little bit that way. If I get some nice big earrings, it looks cool too. I'M not going to do that today, though, I'm just going to pull it over okay and there we go. This is my new do and I mean I think this looks way better than my long hair did, because it's little and I'm little so they do school together there you go a styling mini Shorthair. Laura LP: Hey! Your red will fade as long as you still have that old blonde underneath, but a good way to help is to colour it a lighter brown and then put the red over top of that. The brown will want to stick in your hair better, and then the red should hold longer!

Unfortunately I only liked the cut for the first couple days(probably cuz it was styled from hairdresser). I noticed that my strong side has way too many short layers and the other side is pretty much perfect. Ive been debating on going back in and getting a cut similar to yours, cuz I want something more funky and fun yet easy to style. But I need to wait for those short layers to grow out.

Laura LP: Hi, thanks for watching my video :). Is it coloured as well as relaxed? If so doing two different chemical treatments on it will cause a lot of harm. If it's just the relaxing maybe it's too strong for your hair? I can't see why it wouldn't grow :(. I suggest getting a treatment and using it once a week for a little bit and also keep up with trims to keep your ends as healthy as possible. Also a bad blowdryer (and flat iron) can do a LOT of damage so make sure you have good quality heat stylers!
Wolkenpfote09: I love your hair I got a haircut myself and went from long and thick hair (below the breasts) to short hair ( a lot shorter than yours) and I am totally happy with that because surprisingly it safes a lot of time in the morning (for me at least) and I am able to do a lot more with it (colorwise - I love changing my haircolor to almost anything, it's green at the moment, I think I wouldn't do that with long hair because of fear that it would destroy it)

nanikaos18: Pt.2 LOL **Now, No lectures plz, but I hated it so much, I went & bought BOX hair dye. BIG mistake, turned orange. I've tried SO MANY Sally's products, including bleach, but I still have an ugly "Big Bird" head. I'd rather me fry it than someone else! Literally NOTHING has worked to fix it so far so for now, I try hiding it. Videos like yours help me see diff ways of styling, to hide it, until I find the right products to fix it. Fingers crossed my hair will look as cute as yours again! :-)
