Hi and welcome to head games salon and spawn Portland Maine. My name is Maureen and I am going to show you today an easy side updo for curly hair, so starting with where you would like the side and so for my model, I'm actually going to put it over here on her right side. You can leave your front part wherever you'd like it. You can change that after I'm going to spin her around now, so that you can see what I'm going to do so, leaving the front part, knowing that I'm gon na bring everything over here, I'm actually gon na grab this entire section, really gently kind of lifting Raking the hair with the fingers so that you don't make it too flat, bring it right over grabbing a small amount from the other section. You can kind of start to twist and bring some pieces over here. You'Ll grab a bobby, pin and remember that you always want to insert, with the flat end first going downward secure that bring a little bit more hair over another bobby pin. And then at this point it can finish bringing the rest and for our model. They thought right around her ear. It would be really nice so kind of taking this entire section affair and you can kind of twist it very lightly and almost tuck it right in. It forms like a really neat and a messy side bun and then one more pin grabbing a pin just taking a small piece of that inner hair, making sure it's secure and then pushing the pin downward for a little extra security grab, one more pin and make An X, you actually feel the other pin in there and crisscross the two pins, and this will help to hold the hair nice in place and then that's a nice messy side too coming over. You can see the front now, and so here is your messy side too, and you can leave the front as is or you could do something like this. You could grab the section over here to the side, just smooth it a little bit more around the ear. You could put a pin here, but you don't want it to get too flat. Looking so grabbing this section over here, you can easily just grab these pieces up here and do something kind of like a light pompadour which is creating just a little bit more volume in the front. There just grab those pieces twist them lightly push them up towards the forehead. You'Ll, get a little bit more of a messy fullness and then one more pin and if you can look down please thank you and so up here. Just one more pin grabbing a little piece of hair from one side taking it and then just putting it right in the opposite way. You could use one more piece if you're, if you have a little bit longer hair like back here, so that you don't have these little guys bouncing around too much. So you can grab one more and just kind of easily nicely tuck them in. So you still have a really pretty yet messy side up too, and so, if you can see all the way around super cute great for any occasion, and thank you for watching, my name is Maureen here at head game salon and spa in Portland, Maine
