How I Style My New Short Hair (Products Linked)

Um and we got a little l in the back a bit of hang time a bit. Oh, what i might just go for a haircut like honestly, hi yeah, beautiful people welcome back to my channel. It'S your girl! First and foremost, i am so excited to be back guys, i'm so excited to show you pretty much what i've been working on what's been going on, but i just felt like you know what at least, let me start off by sharing how i style my short Hair which i'm obsessed with by the way i cut my hair earlier this year and it's kind of crazy we're in the seventh month i cut my hair back in january and i've been like cutting it since, but anyways before we get started. Absolutely like it's its own language, like you know what i mean and, like i haven't like, i wasn't speaking social media in a really long time. Let me know if you guys understand what i'm trying to say, but, like i wasn't, i wasn't walking around the house or going to dinner or traveling being like follow me subscribe. Are you liking, like you know what i mean, let's get into today's video i'm going to list all the products in the description box below and yeah without further ado, let's just get into it, okay, so this is what we are working with today. Typically, i like to use maybe three products to style, my hair and that's about it. It doesn't take very long to style. The longest process is waiting for my hair to dry, like any other slick, back style, you're, going to start with wetting your hair. So i'm just going to take my spray bottle, i'm just going to wet my hair a bit. My hair is damp, i'm going to just grab some hair gel and this is the extreme pro expert hair gel. So it's alcohol free, no residue with aloe vera. So i'm just going to take a bit of the gel and i'm just going to put it around my hair, i like to take a fine tooth comb and i like to pretty much just lightly comb out my hair. If i'm looking forward is because it's the mirror right in front of me, so i pretty much like to comb it out like this just lightly comb it out. I know it looks a bit silly, especially in the front, but it all makes sense when we start styling it with the styling foam. This is my favorite mousse. This also doesn't give me any like product, buildup or residue, which is really good, so i'm also going to be linking this in the description box below, but this is where i like to have some fun with my hair, pretty much i like to kind of go In oh, go in on the foam and just kind of apply it to my hair to achieve the wavy look i'll. Take that fine tooth comb again and then i'll start with this side of my hair i'll, bring all the hair on this side i'll bring all the hair on this side. Okay and then i'll move the rest, that's at the back or that's supposed to be at the back of the back okay. So i know i look a bit crazy right now, but stay with me, so i'm just going to just create some waves similar to how you would do like baby hairs and stuff like that, like on the front of your head. That'S like one wave while the hair is still wet. I like to create another wave, essentially and typically, when i'm done with each wave, i like to just move it to the back and if there are flyaways which there are like here. It'S totally fine, because the last step that i like to do is take hairspray spray it on and then wrap my hair. If i don't like it, it's super simple and because you have short hair, all you got to do is just comb it out and then do it again. It'S kind of hard to see because the mirror is just so far from me right now, but and then whatever's left over, like whatever residue is left over on my fingers. I just kind of like take the swoop and then create that little cute sideburn right there. It'S super cute, honestly, and so also what i like to do is take the back of the comb and if i just need to refine a little bit, then i can do that as well. So i just do that to the second bit and then whatever residue is left over, i just like to take that over there and so the last bit or the second last bit is pretty much the front piece. So the front piece can get really annoying. It'S probably like the one part i dread the most now what ends up happening after my hair dries and stuff, like that, it's not like really stuck to my hair. It just dries up and then it'll create like its own kind of like waves and stuff. When it comes to the back, i really don't take a mirror or anything like i kind of just like go with the flow. The back, just really is a vibe like i don't like. Do the mirror thing and like see what's happening or whatever i don't know, i just kind of just comb it and then kind of hope for the best. So with these guys, like these little, you see that right there, like this guy, like these two curls, the swoops and stuff like that. So this is the next product that i love to use. It'S the got to be um glue, free spray, that a lot of girls use for like applying wigs and stuff, like that. I used to use it for applying wigs, but it comes super handy when you're trying to like just fix flyaways like honestly, like flyaways, can be really annoying. I just take some freeze spray and i'll take my head wrap and then wrap my hair like this. So that's typically how i kind of like start my getting ready process after i've done my shower routine after i've done my skincare routine i'll just jump right into getting my hair done, because i know it's going to take the longest to dry. So i'm going to show you guys the final look once my hair dries, but typically it's these three products that i like to use and there's one last product once everything is dried like after i put on my makeup and stuff like that that i love to Use to kind of give it just chef's kiss like it just gives such a nice finish and shine to my hair, i'm absolutely obsessed, so let me uh put on some makeup and i'll be right back all right guys. So this is the final result of how i style my short hair. What i like to do at this point there is a line i don't know if the camera is picking up on the line on my forehead from wearing the head wrap. So what i like to do is grab a little small brush and this one is perfect because it fits in like all of my purses and just blend it in. So if i'm taking photos or recording videos or doing whatever there's no harsh line, i might as well do the rest of my face now. Typically, i would have this like dry a lot longer, but i got really impatient, and so i decided to take it off a little bit earlier. But i do want to mention the last step that i like to do when i style my hair to get that. Like shine kind of come through is use this hairspray. I know you guys have seen it before it's the ors olive oil nourishing sheen spray. So i just like to take that and just spray it if you guys want an alternative to the uh nairobi setting mousse.
