About Shameless Maya

♪ ♪ I'm going to break it down and show you how I got this 1920s Josephine Baker-inspired finger. Wave look. All you'll need is some setting lotion, some hair clips and a fine-tooth comb.. So the trick for this look is to saturate completely saturate your hair, especially if you have short hair.. You just want to saturate your hair., I'm going to shape up the wave with the fine-tooth comb.. So I'm just stretching out all my curls in my hair. ♪ ♪ And then I start to use my fingers to hold the hair in place.. So you can just see that I'm holding my hair. ♪ ♪ And then I put my finger. Down. Grab the hair. And then move it in the opposite, direction. In this case I'm moving forward. And then hold my hair down again and move backwards.. That'S all I do. ♪ ♪ And all the pieces that were not laid right. You can just go back in with your fine-tooth comb and just shape it up.. I ain't a professional.. I just know how I like my hair, wavy., ♪ ♪. So again, I'm doing the same technique on the other side and it's a little challenging because I'm trying to show you and do this in a mirror. But yeah. The key here is just to hold it down with your finger.. Hence `` finger wave.''. She wavy. And the setting lotion is holding the hair in place.. If you do have longer hair you can use the clips., I don't have long hair, so I don't actually need to use the clips. ♪ ♪, Okay and to complete the look. You'Ve got going beat that face some more.
