How To Waterfall Braid On Short Hair With An Easy Step By Step Hair Tutorial

Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel, i hope you're all super well today. I have another hair tutorial for you guys, but this one is a little bit different because i'm slowing it down and i'm going to be popping in a voice over and talking you through step by step, how to create a waterfall braid on short hair. So yeah really hope you enjoy this tutorial guys, let's get straight into it. So first off i'm gon na take the mark heel, hair, taming polish. It gives a little bit of stick and texture just to make it easier when braiding don't put too much on you. Only need a little bit and just rub it in your hands and then run your fingers through your hair and make sure you brush through as well. Then i'm gon na keep my fringe out. So i'm just gon na clip that aside, but you can include your fringe. If you want, then we're gon na take a small section of hair at the front and section that into three like you would a normal plait. So you want three even sections, so i'm gon na number the strands one two and three one starting at the top and three at the bottom. You'Re gon na take strand one over strand two and then take strand three over strand one like so then you're gon na take strand two and add some hair into that strand from the top and then strand one from the start. We are gon na leave at the bottom, ignore it and instead we're gon na pick up a new section of hair, and that is gon na act as the new strand one and we're gon na. Take that over strand two. I hope this makes sense guys. Then we're gon na do exactly the same again. We'Re gon na add some hair into that top strand there, which is strand three, take that over the center strand like so and then we're to leave that strand hanging at the bottom and take a new strand of hair and we're just going to continue that same Method so add extra hair to the top strand. Take it over the center strand leave the bottom one add new hair. Take that over like so and this is creating the waterfall braid effect, so yeah it's a little bit confusing to start with, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a little bit easier and you just do that exact same process until you get to The back of your head and then you can continue down with a normal plait, a normal three strand, plait. That'S how i like to do it on my short hair though, but you could leave the braids to hang down or you could pop it behind and tie it with the other waterfall braid that you'd create on the other side of your hair and tie them together. At the back into a ponytail or you could join them together into one braid at the back of your hair, i like to keep them in two separate braids and just let the waterfall braid kind of just hang down either side. Then i'm going to secure with an elastic band, pull out the braid, so it's not too tight grab some hair grips because on my hair the braid tends to stick out, so i just grip it so it is gripped towards my head. Then yeah, that's pretty much! It guys it's a little bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to create a waterfall break so much easier and yeah just pull out the waterfall strands at the top that are going straight through the braid just to kind of create A bit of volume there you have it guys, that is how to create a waterfall braid on short hair.
