What up you guys welcome back to my channel? It'S me Christy Android's and I'm back with a new video today, I'm gon na be trying out a new flat iron. I'Ve no way for you guys to see this video and see the final results hype. Now we have my hair in a bit of a bun, you know I don't you guys, have the result spoiled for you. I really hope that you guys enjoy this video all the products. Every single thing that I use in this video will be in the description box down below I'll try to link every single thing that I used in this video before we go ahead and jump into this video. So, of course, when the owner of culture, Beauty was generous enough to send me to prison options, I was more than happy to go ahead and support the brand and share it with you guys. She sent me two pairs, I'm wearing one pair right now, my eyes and you guys check out the packaging so cute, so so so cute um. These are these lashes on here, aren't style. 31. Alright, that's pretty much it for this intro. Let'S go ahead and jump into the video, alright hi guys. So right now, obviously can see my hair is in its natural state. I just washed it actually. So it's still kind of damp. I let it air dry. I detangled it in everything under the shower, so if you guys want to see like my process of like how you might natural hair, I will leave a card up here, just showing you guys, like my natural hair care like stuff. So you can see all that and I figured it's a little video. That'S focus more so straightening, my hair. I didn't want to put all that stuff in this video. So let's just go ahead and get into it so yeah the shrinkage is definitely real. My hair, let air dry for the most part, so I don't use as much heat on my hair, so it's almost pretty dried stamp at the roots, but it's um pretty dry. Otherwise, so I'm really happy about that. So we're just gon na go ahead and get into this video. I put my hair into four sections. I already detangled it, so it's super should be pretty easy, should be pretty easy to work with and should be pretty manageable. Okay, so let's just go ahead and get into this, I'm gon na go ahead and get started. I'M gon na start in the back of my hair. So, basically, the process behind this um, we're like the idea behind this - is that I'm going to use a kind of stretching motion. So I'm gon na stretch my hair out and then use the blow dryer to kind of just instead of like using the comb in it to strain it. I'M going to use, hold my hair blow it and then it should make it like straight and make the process slightly easier. I'M gon na stretch my guard and I'm just gon na put this on high heat, and so you can kind of see. I'M kind of my hands are still pretty curly, but kind of got it to be straight. Then the roots are still curly. The rich are still super curly, but at least now the under straight - and I don't have to use as much heat when I'm like going in and let's repeat that, process and we're in so that is going to keep repeating that. So I'm just gon na kind of probably speed this part up, I'm not gon na like spend a whole bunch of time on it. So I went ahead and I have basically destruction off the hair using just a stretching holding the blow dryer to make it easier. So probably the last thing you think I would want to do is add any liquid to my hair, doing it curl back up, but obviously I want to see me moisturize. I want my hair to still be healthy, so I'm actually gon na spray. The ends with this Carol's Daughter on the milk leave-in conditioner, I'm just gon na spray - this all over - I probably should have sprayed this in before. I went ahead and did this, but I forgot - I just thought I don't know I you know so we're going to go in I'm adding this comb attachment now and I'm going to go through and go from the brute and basically blow until it's like straight. So it's all I'm doing now, alright guys. So I just finished blow drying out my hair. I'M sorry with my earring actually thought the bow drying and so put into two little. Like friends. I guess you could say, and so and now I'm gon na go ahead and get started on my ironing out my hair so umm. I actually just got this flat iron. The company called Duvall. I think that's how you say it was really really generous reach out to me, and they offered to send me the to try out on my natural hair to see if it would basically give me really good results and to tell you that see if this is Like a good find for natural hair, so umm - something that's really great about this barn is that it has titanium plates and you guys can kind of see that his beautiful titanium plate and something else that's really cool about this line - is that if you see the Titanium kind of extends to the outside. So when you're straining your hair, you can kind of take it and, like you, can curl it and do different stuff with it, with this extended titanium on the outside on both sides. So, depending on how you're curling your hair, so you can do a number of stuff with this fine um, so I'm really excited to try it out. I just took it off the box for you guys and I'm really excited to try it out and see if it gives me really good results and straightens my hair and does like what it's supposed to do. They have face scrubbers, they have flat irons, number of styling tools and so yeah. So let's go ahead and try this find out see how it works. I am super duper excited. I have definitely been looking for I'm having some serious technical difficulties right now, and this is not gon na work very well for many things. Um this pot iron has one tooth, has five different settings, so it starts from 270 degrees and goes all with to 450 degrees um, and I only want to do one pass on my hair because you know I would like for my curls to bounce back. So let's go ahead and get this party started, so I'm going to add just Garnier Fructis anti: what's it called sleek and shine anti-frizz serum um, it's a heat protectant and it's also extremely lightweight whatever you're straightening, your hair. If you want to still have bounce and stuff - and you don't want it to be like - I guess, I'm sort of looking for you - don't want it to have like that weighted heavy oil. Look only do the lightweight oil in your hair for a heat protectant. Try to get deep that you're, using on your hair as minimalized as possible, just to protect it from damage so inside the so do the Duval key comes with like a guide. So I was telling you guys, you know, picks a lots of the temperature for your hair type, so professional, fine or chemically processed here they recommend using 270 degrees Fahrenheit and then for normal, easy to straighten hair 320 to 360 degrees, Fahrenheit and then for resistant thick And wavy hair 410 to 450 years for a night. Now I guess my hair classifies resistant to straighten hair, but I'm going to keep it at 360 right below the amount and see how this goes. If it doesn't give me like a kind of the sweetness, I want that I'll raise it to 410, but we're just going to kind of test it out. First, alright, let's go all right, it seems to straighten really well, but I think I'm going to raise it to 410. I think it needs a little extra heat, so I can get that sweetness and shine. I want Wow, oh my god. Definitely gon na give myself a trip when I'm done but Wow. Alright, let's go ahead and continue with straining the rest of my hair up. Okay guys, so I just wanted to say that I've been straightening and I'm almost done with this half of my hair and it's insane like my hair, has movement and body and like oMG, it's crazy, but I actually wanted to show you guys how crazy and it's Flat iron is, I literally, have been able to straighten my hair and practically just one pass. I just want you guys to see how, like this thing, literally takes one pass to go straight, like I can literally see straight in the route go and nice and straight so it turned off sounds like lies. That seemed not to be straight in the ends. Well anymore, but it just turned off, but look at that with the heat off one pass. You fat is literally one pass, the heat turned off, so I'm going to do one more pops over it for the ends, but, oh my god, so much movement, it's crazy! I, like my hair, tucked back, I hate hair on my face, my real hair, at least I hate on my face, but um yeah. That is the final thing, so this barn is crazy, like literally it took one pass. You guys literally only one pass, and I kid you guys, not my hair, literally 1password straighten I mean granted. I did do a really good job, blow-drying it pretty straight, but even even the parts it still at the ends. I had little kinks or curls. It just went through so easy and close to me so overall, ten out of ten totally recommend this flat iron with the coupon code that I put across the screen I'll put in a parrot. I love that they have these little titanium plates on the end, because these titanium plates make it really easy for you to like make sure you get your roots, nice and straight because one of the things that's really hard about flat iron. Sometimes you don't get your roots or your hair to be nice, and straight and sleek with this. Because of this, like behind player, you really can rub it and get that straight root which can be really hard when your natural, but ten out of ten, totally recommend this. Zjelice Barksdale: I swear this comment is constructive- 1. The glove should be on the opposite hand, not the hand you would use to hold the straightener. It’s to prevent burns as you hold your “hair holding” hand close to the iron. 2. When hitting your roots, you shouldn’t hold for that long. You want to do quick root passes, put the flat iron down, position your comb underneath the strand in your “hair holding” hand and pass the flat iron and comb down the strand TOGETHER. Your ends will come out straighter and it will be a true “1 pass” silk press. Like some of the other commenters mentioned, it was scary to watch you go so slow down the strand as it’s really damaging. It’s okay to do more than one pass just be “quick” about relieving your strands from the direct heat. (One pass is a professional/HIGH QUALITY flat iron feat) Otherwise your hair is beautiful, it came out the way YOU wanted it and that’s what matters in the end.

Idk if you understand what I'm trying to say but I cringed every time you had to hold the flatiron to reposition your comb. Here is my review. 1. It didn't leave my hair silky. It still has a lot of frizz. And yes, I cut 5 inches of my ends before starting to use it, I also blow dried my hair, and I used small sections. Maybe the iron got tired of all the hair. Lol 2. It's good for edges if you have thick hair. I may need a way bigger one. It works pretty go on my bangs because I have a softer texture there but the back of the hair is coarse and needs more love and care. 3. It is good to create curls though, the size is perfect. 4. In other words I just didn't love it but I don't hate it. I give it a 3 out of 5 rating. 5. If you know a miracle worker for our type of hair PLEASE tell me which one it is, no matter the price.
