Brad Mondo Reacts To E-Girl Hair Color Transformation | Elite Daily

This is a disaster.. This is even better than I thought it was gon na be.. I have asked for the help of none other than hairdresser extraordinaire and YouTube sensation. Brad Mondo himself to guide me through this process of my E-girl transformation. Today I'll be helping Theresa color her hair.. That'S me! That'S me If you're not familiar with an E-girl style and what it is. It'S really just highlighting the front of your hair, very chunky, pieces and Theresa will be doing the chunky pieces in the front of her hair pink.. Just listen to all my directions clearly and make sure you do it all correctly and it'll all be fine., No pressure., No big deal., Just listen to all of his directions. Clearly. Now Theresa to achieve this look you'll need some supplies of course.. We'Re gon na need. 30 volume developer we're gon na need a powder lightener, a pink semi-permanent hair color.. It'S called Frose., It's kind of like a light. Cotton candy, pastely pink. We're gon na need a comb. Got it.. We'Re gon na need some clips. We'Re gon na need some gloves a towel, a coloring cape. If you're worried about coloring your clothes. We've got everything we need in this bag of goodies that I got from Amazon. And that's pretty much it.. It should be really simple.. You got this. We're gon na see how this goes. - Let's get going you guys. First before I do this, I'm gon na take my hair down, so you can get an up close. Look at the situation that we're dealing with here. Gorgeous. Step. One. You're gon na need to protect your clothing. Protection is always the key ingredient here.. It'S like an adult. Bib. Love this for myself., Okay great.. What are we doing? Next Brad Mondo Step two., Section out the front pieces of your hair that you would like to color pink.. I know you already have a pretty solid section of blonde in the front of your hair, so just section that back out and it should be perfect.. I actually look like a sewer monster right, now., Step three. Now you're going to mix your bleach. You're gon na, take your powder lightener and your 30 volume developer and mix it all together into a paste-like consistency. Okay.. We are mixed.. I feel like that's pretty pasty. Thicker bleach processes. More. It'll be really important and key to making your hair as light as possible, where it's not already light. Godspeed. Step four.. Now we're gon na start., Good luck and don't bleep it up.. Do small sections. Make sure you're getting every single hair strand covered. Take like paper thin sections.. That'S gon na be really important to getting this hair color right. Cute Anyway, let's go. Other side. ( casual music, ) Step five., Make sure you process your hair for at least 35 minutes. Brad Mondo told me to put this on my head, so I put it On my head. After 35 minutes, please check on your hair., Make sure everything's good make sure your hair isn't falling off, which it won't you'll be fine.. I did it. You want your hair to be a light, yellow color.. You really want it to match your end. Color., You already have that blonde in your ends. You're just trying to get the rest to that same exact color as your ends., You can even pull off a little bit of the bleach to check how the color is and then reapply to that strand. If necessary., It is not done, processing. Wait. Another 10 minutes. Check again.. It should be good by then, and your hair should be a beautiful pale, yellow color., Because I guess this blonde was a little darker. My roots lifted pretty fricken fast, so we're gon na see how this goes. Step six. Shampoo and condition that lightener out. Fully out. Okay, You might need to shampoo twice., Just get it out., And then you wan na blow dry your hair and prep it for the next portion of the coloring process.. Now that we are here and we're about to put color in, we will see that it'll kind of even itself out a little bit.. It'Ll look really cool., And if it doesn't, nobody has to see it.. So we're just gon na forget this ever happened. We're not gon na, say anything.. You saw nothing. Step seven.. This is the fun part, because it's so easy. Apply that pink color to those sections and really saturate it get it really thickly on there., Glob it on. And then comb it through to make sure it's on every single hair strand.. I'M gon na take this down and I'm going to rinse it out. Just like I did with the lightener.. We shall see the final result.. I am back to see Teresa's final E-girl look., I'm very nervous.. Honestly, it looks flawless to me on camera.. Your roots are gon na be a little bit brighter. Just because that's the newly bleached part, and as you wear it, everything will kind of adjust and oxidize to the same color. The pink made. It look darker and I love the contrast of that.
