You would think that i would wear my natural hair in the summertime because i can go outside and just let it air dry. But i actually wear braids in the summer time, because the humidity messes with my fro a lot and my hair trying to air dry regardless hot outside it, takes literally a whole day: hey y'alls destiny, just back again, um styles by destiny. We got some orange going on and then of course, my tail just hanging in it, but yeah, let's go through the different hair care, tic toc and you know we're just gon na figure out what's cool, what's not, you know the different tips, what you should do, What you shouldn't do and go from there, let's get to it! One trick that i have found lately is when i go from um. You know having to wash my hair with my wash and go's a lot of people go through and try to detangle their hair before they shampoo it and what i've? What works for me actually is actually rinsing it out and putting a conditioner or pre-poo in it. And then detangling it that way and then going into my detox shampoo. Otherwise i feel like i'm tearing through my hair, you realize you lose a lot of hair when you're tearing through it that way so moisturizing it a little bit more and getting it wet and coming through. It works a lot better than trying to do a dry and then also trimming it about every three to four months. I just got a trim and when i say work wonders okay, so you guys remember how i told you do not um comb your hair out dry, because you lose a lot of hair. It'S crazy in this video, that's what she did and she had like a big wider hair. So, like i said, try to go ahead and you could hand detangle it when it's dry and then go ahead and shampoo it well, not shampoo. It go ahead and rinse that out do your conditioner pre-poo comb that through and then go into your shampoos. That way, you don't lose as much hair because you're not tearing through your strands and i'm not a big fan of the wet ones. So sometimes it's best to go ahead and blow dry it out a little bit and then put you know a little water to get your little waves going and then you know button it up. Do it how you want to do it from there, but whenever you do it wet and you keep that wet ponytail on your head, your hair can actually start to mildew and steep. That'S how you get that little smell, sometimes so. Try to stay away from the wet buttons, so i love this video. It shows the different hairstyles um from different people. So you know ginger is kind of like my orange too. She has these bantu knots and i definitely want to try bantu knots. The only thing with bentonites is: how am i going to sleep at night? So i know for me i plan on my hairstyles, depending on what's going on through the year, so normally it's kind of backwards. So braids are my go-to during the summer and i like to wash your nose in the morning and then i think i like to do my wash shoes in the wintertime. Because that way, when i go out a lot of people, don't have their washing clothes and they can see my hair and i get a lot of compliments and that you know i like confidence. It did, i feel, like you know, i'm doing something. A lot of people i have been seeing getting crochet looks especially like the faux crochet protective block style, which is easier because then you don't have to sit there for a long time trying to get it done. So you'll get the crochet in the back like the individuals in the front, so that works the protective style. So this is another silk press. Video um, like i told you before, i'm not opposed to silk, presses at all. You just don't want to get them too often, i say no more than three to four times a year and always make sure that you're using a ceramic iron instead of a titanium iron ceramic ions, do not burn your curl pattern as fast as titanium ones.
