Hello, peaches welcome back to dear peachy. There are literally hundreds of different lipsticks out there in varying tones and finishes so finding one that you, like best, can be overwhelming truthfully. Many shades will probably look good enough on you, which is how you end up unwittingly. Collecting a dozen red lipsticks, but knowing your signature, lip color based on your skin tone, can help narrow the field. We can already imagine you're roaming, the lipstick aisle of your favorite retailer and, despite your sea of options, you're still stuck thinking what color lipstick should i wear? There are too many different lipstick shades that can make your shopping trip seem more like a mission than a fun shot. Well, it doesn't need to be daunting. Truth be told. All you need are a few key tips and you'll see that it's actually quite easy to choose. A lipstick color for your skin tone. Raise your hand if you've ever been in a conversation that required you to nod along knowingly, even though you were completely lost. If this is the case when it comes to understanding your skin tone, let us be the first to tell you that you're, not alone, while skin tones are one thing master, tone or undertones are completely different. They can often make or break a makeup. Look understanding the real color of your skin is primarily about discovering your skin tone, which is the key to not only getting the right foundation shade, but also finding your signature lip color based on your skin tone without further ado. Let'S start with the first step in identifying your skin tone. First understand your skin's master tone when shopping for foundation, you've probably heard the terms cool, warm or neutral to describe how a shade will look on skin. Those terms refer to your skin's master tone and are used to determine which foundation shade will match at the best people with cool master tone skin. They often have hints of bluish pink or a reddy complexion, warm master tone, skin radiates the yellow, sallow, peachy or golden tone, whereas the neutral tone skin has no obvious overtones of pink or sallow skin, but rather the skin's natural color is more evident to identify your Skin master tone: you can take a picture of yourself without makeup using your hand, phone it is advised to take the picture in indoor setting make sure the lights are not too bright, and it can have a mixture of both indoor light and sunlight when the picture Is taken also avoid wearing bright colors shirt, as it will affect the color of the picture too. You can take a several shots to get the most accurate result before we proceed. We would like to clarify that the skin, shade, intensity and master tone are two different aspects. Many people mistakenly assume that people with deeper or darker shade skin are classified under the warm master tone, skin and people with fair or light shade. Skin are those with cool master tone, however, both light or deep shade skin can also have warm or cool master tone. Take a look at this example. Both of them have light or fair shade skin, but on the left, her skin appears to be cooler. It has the pinkish hue underneath it. On the other hand, the one on the right has warmer master tone. Her skin is fair but radiates a yellow to orange. You underneath it so start to observe your friends around you. You will realize that everyone's skin tone is actually very different and unique. Step 2 find out the undertone of your skin. There are seven undertones of skin. As you can see in this chart, you can observe the natural hue in your skin, which color they belong to pink. You have rosy cheeks with a light blush across the chest and ears. You can burn easily in the sun blue skin that radiates very cool, plum undertone. Your skin tone deepens in the sun, green or olive. Their skin tone has a hint of bronze or green in daylight. It is also somehow on the borders on neutral, but it contains both yellow and blue hues. You can see that the olive undertone skin can be differentiated into warm and cool master tone too, or in fair, shade skin tone. You can definitely tell there is difference in the undertone of both skin shown. Here, though, both are fair and can be categorized in cool master tone. The one above has pink hues underneath its skin color and the one below has tint of green in it neutral, which the undertone is roughly similar to your actual skin. Color. Yellow your skin shows the golden, especially in the paler areas you achieve golden glow in the sun. Orange skin will appear more peachy and apricot your skin takes on bronze tones in the sun. Lastly, red undertone cinnamon skin hues that intensify and deepens in the sun. So, as you can see, both master and undertone is our actual skin tone. The shades of our skin can be changed when we get tanned, but the master and undertone is the true hues that shines through from our skin. No matter we get fairer or darker. Finally, to last step: step 3: once you have identified your master and undertone, you can easily figure out your shade intensity within the identified undertone range. For instance, you found out that you have cool master tone skin with yellow undertone, so you can find the shade intensity that best suit your actual skin color within this range. With these three easy steps, we believe that you can now figure out your true skin tone. Tell us in the comment section: what skin tone do you have? We would love to hear it from you now. You know your skin tone and here comes our next question: how to find your signature lip color that suits your skin tone. Generally speaking, the rule is easy if you have warm master tone. Skin lip shades that are with warm colors will enhance your complexion. In contrast, lip shades with cool colors will suit cool master tone skin better. Let'S break this down further for anyone who has cool skin tone with pink or blue undertone. The best lip shades are colors, with pink or blue shaded undertones, for example, when going for a red lip we're more toward deep bluish reds like cherry red versus ones. That lean more orange for lighter nude lips, you can enhance the natural flush of your lips with a rosy pink nude for a more subtle look. Colors, like light pink rose, pink with blue hue or red bean paste with pink. You are friendly options for you too. However, warm colors like warm brown, peachy or orange toned lip shades might not be able to bring out the beauty of your skin for warm fair tone. You can't go wrong with lip shades that are in the milk, tea shades and orangy red or warm red contrasting to the cool, fair tone. Warm fair tones should avoid any lip shades that are with cool undertones, such as any lip shades that lean towards the pink or purple hue. These shades often highlights our skin pigmentation, causing us to look dull and tired. Those who have cool medium skin tone and have olive or green undertones lip shades that are with cool undertones will be more suitable for you rose or berry tones lip colors or even the red bean paste color that are with blue or pink hues will look gorgeous On you, too, generally, you will need to stay away. Lip colors that are in warm tones like bright orange or peach colors, as they will make us look pale and aged if you have warm medium skin tone with orange, yellow or red undertone lip shades in warm orange red or brown colors will work best on you For instance, you are looking for your signature red lip color pick those which are with a brick red brownish red burnt horn shades. These colors will surely make your beauty shine through your skin, however, fades with bright, colors, nude shades or shades with pink hues. Undertones might not look the best on you for neutral skin tone. Luckily, for this undertone a wide spectrum of colors are complementary. Your best lipstick shades can be anything from light nudes to deep lines. The lip shades that you might need to stay away are those with pink or bright orange tones. Lastly, for warm tan skin warm shades like brownish-red renewed shades will pop beautifully on your skin contrastingly cool tan skin will look great in mauve darker red bean paste color with blue undertones and red color with purple undertone. However, both warm and cool tan skin shall avoid any light. Color such as light milk t-shades light red bean paste shades. Do you know that choosing the right lip product can help to accentuate your mouth feature? Hence not just the lip color, but also the lip product finishes, play a major role in accentuating mouth feature such as protruded lips. If you have protruded lips besides from choosing lip color based on your skin tone, you should also consider colors that have lower saturation. For instance, this two lip shades are similarly with orange undertone. The one on the right is orange, with higher saturation undertone and whilst one the left, the orange lip color has lower saturation undertone. We can clearly see that the lower saturation lip color accentuate the protruded lip better. This is because brighter color will catch people's attention more easily. However, this doesn't mean that we should choose lip colors that are way too dark for our skin tone wearing lip color. That is too dark will create a great contrast to your overall makeup color tones, hence causing the protruded lip stands out even more. Besides that picking the right lip finishes will help to enhance protruded lips as well. Navigating the various types of lipstick, however, goes well beyond finding your ideal shade. There are various lip finishes, but we are narrowing it down into two main types: the matte ones and the sheer ones lip product with matte finishes includes lip matte lip stain, lip mousse or liquid lipstick sheer finishes. Lip products includes lip. Sheer lip butter lip gloss, lip satin, lacquer and lip shimmer for anyone with protruded lips. You should definitely go for lip products with matte finishes. Lip products with low shimmer or without shine and gloss will look best on you. If you would like to go for juicy lip look, you can choose lip satin, which has low shine and gloss. However, lip gloss, lip shimmer or lip butter. All of these have juicy and wet looking finishing. They are not suitable for you if these are applied full on your lips. The glossiness and shine of the finishes will quickly draw people's attention to your lips. You can observe by the two examples here: wearing lip product with matte finish: will avoid the attention focus at your lips and help to divert to other areas instead, whereas glossy lips draws the attention to lower region of her face and making such feature to look even More prominent, we bet our peaches might be wondering if lip colors can accentuate other lip features like downhill lip shape or making our lips fuller. Thinner. However, lip color is less likely to be helpful in improving these lip features. So, in those cases, the application method and lip contouring techniques, these are the two important skills that come into play. If you are interested in knowing more about accentuating these features, you can head to our previous video here for more tutorials, finding a shade of lipstick that perfectly matches your skin is no easy task, a quest, if you will but boy is it worth it considering? There are thousands of lipstick shades out there. We know it can sometimes seem like an impossible task, but with our video here today we hope it can help you to find the right or dye lipstick, shade that suits you, the most a final takeaway from us. You should choose a lip color, you feel the best in if any shade evokes confidence in you, but doesn't align with the rules go ahead and rock it. Thank you. So much for watching see you and goodbye. Pumpkin Cat: I love love love how this channel isn’t like “how to be pretty” and more like “here’s how to compliment your features to look like your best self”

Riii: not even exxageratating you're like the best beauty page on this platform

Tanisha Halder: It also depends on the pigmentation of your lips to a certain extent. A lipstick shade may look different on 2 people who have the same master and undertone but have differently pigmented lips. It also depends whether you have any make-up or not. Makeup may help accentuate the lipstick shade or it can be that it suits you better without makeup. Outfits play a role too.

tententokoroten: I think hair and eye color can play a big part too !! especially if your skin is kind of in between or a combination of shades, changing the tone of hair color (cool/warm) can bring out different undertones. I have pale - cool/neutral - pink skin, with my natural ash blonde hair my skin looks more on the cool side but ever since I’ve died my hair ginger my skin has been giving a more neutral impression, I love wearing peach pinks and orange reds on my lips but I would never wear them with my natural hair. for people with blue eyes like myself the peach/orange undertone or bright red lip colors can also make our eye color look brighter and more saturated ^^

babulincho: OMG DID U JUST READ MY MIND i was planning on buying a tint today but was so hesitant because it might not fit my skin tone >< thank you sooo much peachie i love u and ur channel

IceQueen975: Okay, the undertone section was super helpful. When people go "oh a pink or yellow undertone" I'd be like "But I'm neither wtf...". Didn't realize there's WAY more then just 3 and people were really discussing master tone. So my undertone is green, in reality. The hand picture REALLY helped because it did look like how my hand looks vs my mom's.

Chummy Chimchim: Girl, you have put a TON of effort into these videos. Thank you very much for naming the lipsticks ❤️

Marilyn Warbis: I'm 75 and have spent a lifetime (and a fortune) on trying to find THE lipstick for me. It would be so helpful if there were independent beauty hubs where we could have an in-depth consultation. Even the trained professional staff of the major cosmetic houses don't seem to be all that helpful in the long run. This video is the next best thing to an in-depth consultation.

InvisibleRen: First time I’m hearing of protruded lips so I googled and it looks like an Asian-beauty standard. That facial structure is also very common in people of African descent but I don’t see many cosmetic surgery photos of us. I believe we see nothing undesirable about protruding lips! And traditionally we LOVE juicy lips even those of us with very full lips. No wonder I was so confused.

Kat_ OT7: I am an asian and my upper lip is darker than my lower lip. So I always choose a lip colour which matches my upper lip and then i just apply the lipstick to my lower one. After the lipstick is 50% dry i just pop my lips together to make it look more even. And then tada! it's hard to recognise if i am wearing lipstick or not

Linda's lullaby: You mentioned something I was noticing myself, but couldn't quite get it. The thing about matte and shimmery lip products. I don't understand why matte suits me so much more. I would love to hear more about beauty products' finish, how to choose right for yourself and how to combine them to not look dead and flaky or oily and greasy.

eden.e: Imm so glad you really included the full range of skin tones in your video! As a darker skinned girl myself, its great seeing your advice applies to others like me

Anna Margolina: It took me so long to figure out I was warm olive because people tend to ignore it althogether in skin tone analysis videos, but you mentioned it and I feel included. Wonderful video <3

soo ling: im mind blown because this is the first time ever i’ve seen a video explain so in dept about skin tones…ive been struggling for the longest time ever and this helps! thanks dear peachie, you always make the most informative videos!

whatta mess: such a great video, really helpful! but i couldn't help but notice that despite stating that olives can be further divided into warm and cool, there wasn't a discussion for shades that suit warm olive skin tones? or even neutral olive tones?

CODE 941 MUSIC : I have a green undertone, berry and rose colors look absolutely stunning on me. They are the only two colors I wear, though I wasn’t aware of what my undertone was, I just happened to find the right shade after trying several colors. I’ll try the red bean paste color too so I can switch things up.

CHQ: I've got protruded lips but I absolutely love the glimmering juicy lip gloss or lip tint look I wish I would look good in it

freespirit: Yes that’s what happened to me before. I collected a lot of lippies that are regrets. In the recent years, I realized what worked for me and my skin tone. Because of my neutral undertone, I found that there are cool and warm shades that work and won’t work with me. Like the pink cherry reds and orange reds do not look good on me but bluish reds and true neutral reds even with a tiny hint of orange look nice on me.

Andrea Paola: So interesting! My skin is tanned, therefore I always assumed I was warm-yellow undertone & would mostly buy lipsticks that compliment that skin tone but would dislike how corals and orange lipstick looked on me, however people would compliment me a lot when I used lipstick with blue hues. After your video I have realized, I’m more on the cool medium tone with olive undertone I’ve lied to myself all my life hahaha

Valina Miyu: My first lip product was an orange liptint. I thought it looked cute, as it looked so good on my friend. When I used it, maybe affected by my own natural lip color, it turned my lips bright red with orange tone, but it looked awful. A year later I mistakenly bought a lip cream online that looked too pink for my liking, but the color actually looked nice on me. Then I noticed that people tend to compliment me when I’m wearing lip products with pink and blue tones, but getting mistaken for being sick when I wear yellow or orange tones as (according to them) these tones supposedly make my skin look unhealthy and weird. So I must have cool master tone with blue or pink undertone (not sure because I burn under sun but slightly tan too)

Angel Rose: Aw, she missed a master tone to recommend lip shades for. The cool, neutral with olive undertones. Basically, the criminally hard shade to find lip colors for. It took me years to figure out that was me. So here's what works for me, for any of you people still in the struggle and might need an idea or two. Lol Lip shades that lean too pale, vivid, orange, or brown look garish on me. But I can wear any warm color as long as it's not too warm or brown. I can wear any cool color as long as it's not too saturated or vivid. Any nude must have some peachiness too it to make up for how pale mauve my lips already look or it looks ghostly on me.( But this is just my personal lip tone. Yours can be different even if our skin matches.) With eye-shadows though I can wear both more vivid and warm colors and they look fine against my pale skin, but too cool or cold is a no go, for me personally. Feels depressing or looks too intense. Otherwise I can do most colors like if I was a white canvas. Lol On my cheeks, pale peaches and pinks are great cuz they make me look alive, but too vivid or saturated is a nope. No brown leaning shades at all. Those look yucky on me. All this generally applies to clothing colors for me too. Most neutrals of any color work. Neons and pastels look pretty on me. But too cold or dark jewel tones are too intense looking on me or they draw too much attention. Can do light oranges and yellows. They look happy. But any brown oranges and warm browns in general look yucky on me. Cool leaning browns look fine. Reds, greens, purples, and blues are tricky/picky. Those just come down to personal mood choices and season. I don't like intensely bright or too dark blues. Too depressing, boring, or they wear me instead. But midnight blue is the exception for specific styles in moderation and usually paired with something sparkly or metallic. I don't like too orangey or too blue reds. But most reds otherwise look nice. Dark reds like oxblood or burgundy look amazing on me. Like, Snow White style amazing same as lips. Don't like too dark or too red purples. Lighter warm purples, mauves, and pastel purples look amazing on me. Neons must be done in small doses and paired with either white, grey, or black for contrast. Can do most greens, but it depends on my mood, season, and size of clothing items. And it's mostly the same for hair color as clothing, but more so depending on my favorite colors and mood. And there you have it.

Rindar: I'm yellow undertones and can't agree more!! Nude lips will make me look like I'm already dead, pink and bright lips will make you see only my lips (in a bad way)

Z -: I'm a neutral-olive or muted warm-olive, the only time I can pull off orange is if it's peachy. And even then, it has to be muted or lean more red Instead of a strong orange, when it's instead a TRUE secondary color of orange-red (which peach falls under). But to be fair, even peach is sometimes too orange for my liking. There are some olives who can pull it off more than me, but that's more dependent on their skin. I personally believe olive is a whole spectrum of its own. Varying from intensity of olive, from cool/neutral/warm, etc. Sometimes I wish I didn't have that olive in my skin, It's hard to make sense of. I'm a South Asian w/ light medium complexion. So anytime I have to refer to lipstick shade swatches, I noticed I unintentionally flock to the Asian diaspora. While we're not all olive, we still have quite diversity of what olive can look like. So it helps a lot. This is the first time I've ever seen this channel, I really appreciate it.

IloveHyunjin: i love how you gave actual advice for the neutral shade instead of going 'anything will go with it'

Isabella Yuki Cross: People need to realize skin undertone warm vs cool is different than personal color type's cool vs warm types. Because even though seulgi has warm toned skin which has many yellow pigment in it she need to wear cool toned colors to compliment it or else she will look very heated/yellow/red like the one in this video. On the contrary people who look good with warm colors actually have very cool grayish skin. And that is why they NEED warm color to compliment it or else they look very sick, dull. So if warm color looks good on you it is probably because your skin needs more warm color.

MagiHiyori Yona_nanatsu: I never found any lipstick that made me look good then thanks to this video I understood that I have a neutral tone and I bought the mac lipstick that was recommended. I never wear this sort of color so when I tried it I was afraid of the result but it's clearly the color and the texture that suits me the best

Léa Mu Biu: Honestly I wasn't even expecting this to be THIS thorough and helpful. I never understood skin tones better! I'm saving this for future reference :)

RedeemedByGod: Thank you for the deep and comprehensive explanation. It’s not just full of scientific terms that are too complicated to understand. Keep on making these videos! These are really helpful ❤❤❤

Justyna Wrona: I can't believe how informative your videos are! Thank you for opening my eyes <3 No one ever told me I can have a green skin undertone, but this explains all of my struggles with makeup and clothes colors! Now I know what to choose.

아린arin ♡: I finally found my perfect color! Its an redish orange, but a bit darker. I am indian and have a medium - light skin tone. Its like a light tan. I just found my best color. All the others always made my lips look purple. I use elf lip laquer in the color “moody”. Hope this helped some of you!

jennifurryc: Wow, so true! This whole time, I thought I was warm toned because I can't pull off fuschias and pinks, but didn't know why I couldn't wear orange or red orange lips. Turns out I'm actually neutral toned!!! Hallelujah, I'm smack dab in the middle!

Trâm Đinh: Neutral tones can really rock BOTH!! But you have to be a little bit skilled. I’m neutral/slightly warm but I love MAC’s ruby woo an its flankers. Just keep in mind that your overall makeup should have the same undertone/neutral.

chinny: i just think that this channel is empowering!! something about taking steps to looking our best seem like we're taking steps to feeling our best as well :> and i love how that "best" is giving me the message of embracing diversity and self-love UwU

o_august: I have decently fair pink toned skin- and I can say this also holds true for blushes and contours. Warm toned blush/contour does not look natural and overpowers my face- yet the cool tones look great (especially with very soft notes of grey/purple for the hollows of the cheek). If I want to wear some of the more in trend brown "lipliner lip" I have to fully commit and change the tone of my whole face and choose a more yellow toned foundation etc. and blending it all out can be a pain.

Suraya: Tbh I notice how almost everyone categorise dahyun as cool toned just bc she’s super pale but she seems more warm toned to me. Back in like ooh-ahh she looked amazing with the red and orange streaks in her hair, yet looked washed out with purple and mint. She seems to suit warmer looks more too

Sugar Apple Pie 🍏: I've always struggled to find a good nude shade lipstick and I feel like this whole video explains why I was hesitant to buy most of the advertised "nude shades" cause I noticed most nude lip shades make me look sick instead.. This video about undertone colors helps make sense why I always was hesitant with certain shades. I also noticed it's hard to find a good "red lipstick" and when I tried the red-orangey hued lipsticks, it doesn't really suit me. Definitely, made me sure that I'm more cool toned but only found out now that the reason for orangey red lipstick or orangey nude lipsticks not suiting me, is because I most likely have a cool pink/blue undertone which surprised me but also makes sense why purple has always been my go to lipstick shade

malvicie: This channel is the best beauty channel on YouTube! Complimenting our best features based on visual presence, ratios, color matching... it's all very smart, and I've definitely felt like my best self from following tips on here. Plus, it's all very high quality! Thank you dear peachie, we love you!

Ryza Rabino: 7:33 Warm Medium tone with Yellow/Orange/Red Undertone 7:45 Samples

Jane Doe: I never wore any lipstick until I tried Ruby woo and my life changed. For the first time ever a shade looked pretty. Made me look pretty. And then I began to explore shades of brown and deep reds, especially mattes, those are my range of colors. Yup also I am a neutral undertone

stellarrd: I am still at a loss in determining my skin tone lol.. wondering why everyone finds it so easy I am definitely warm, but not sure if I am orange, yellow or red/cinnamon. I have high melanin in my skin, but my cheeks (the palest part) has pink undertone! Any suggestions?

Pamela Rubel: First time I watch a video from your channel and i have to say it was AWESOME. This was so on point! I am a cool medium tone with green/olive overtones, and the colors you mentioned are my best colors: berries, roses and mauve/bean paste. Because my skin is not fair (and because I lean warm when I tan in the summer) I always thought I was warm, but my best colors have always been cool tones, plus my eyes are a charcoal grey brown, and my hair is a dark charcoal brown as well, extremely cool tones! My mom is darker than me, so the cool tan description fits her and those colors you showed are also her best! I am subscribing!

CJR G: I learned more in this video than I ever did in beauty school!

Every Amber: This is soooo very useful and clear! I had this one lipstick one time that I got from my sister. Its a orangey red kinda hue. It suits me soooo well that I was surprised. I ran out of it and can never find the same shade ever!! I asked my sister what brand it was and where she got it. She didn't know either cause it was given to her (she's an amateur model in our city's local agency so she often gets free stuff). Everything make sense now, I mean I do know I'm more of a warm tone but I've never educated myself on master tones and undertones. Turns out I'm warm tone with orangey undertone! It makes soooo much sense that, that lipstick shade was perfect for me!

Nao Mori: Thanks for this. I watched a lot of videos and tried quizzes to see which skin tone I am. I always thought I just had warm skin but even when I tried warm lipshades they didn't always look good on me. Recently I'm starting to realize that I may be warm olive but I still know so little about what would suit my master and undertones

Samantha🌿: I finally knew my right tone. This will help me to choose lip colors. Thanks a lot!

Jam Jam: Seulgi is actually cool-toned, the reason why she looked warmer was because of her warm hair colour, which brought out the yellow in her skin. This is why it’s important to learn about personal colour in order to manipulate your makeup and style for a desired effect!

Isa Curry: Omg this is so so helpful, alway thought I was cool tone but only deep reds and nudes suit me and now the mystery is over, I am in fact a neutral queen lol

Miss L: Im a neutral undertone but more on the cool blue side but some warms still works on me. Now I understand why bright color lippies doesn’t work for me! Thanks for this helpful and detailed explanaition!

teardrop: I have a cool skin tone with pink undertones, I wore a light red lipstick with pink lipgloss over the top and it looked really pretty, so I guess this is why :) I usually struggle with lipshades but this was really useful

PrincessOfAnime777: Your videos are always so informative! Thank you for making them!

Naty Stella: I came here from the hair video to find out that I have cool, pink skintone! I always believed it was some kind of warm skintone because the instructions to finding it were always messy, but in here they're so detailed! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

Ines S: Hey I love your videos ! Thanks to you I can tell my skin tone ❤️ Can you talk about choosing eyeshadows depending on skin color/ eyes color?

Koagyaru: I believe I need to watch this video again now to find my skin tone as I have a hard time to try figure it out, despite believing that I'm neutral or warm since red and orange lipsticks are my favorites (Usually I have a hard time to find a pink shade that looks good on me)

ahhhlisa: another tip i find helpful in understanding my skintone was comparing myself to others in group photos

Femke Visser: Just learned that I have cool toned yellow skin! Thank you so much for the great explanation!

agustina: THIS IS SOOOO USEFUL I always suspected I have neutral master tone, but I have yellow undertone and I didn't know how to deal with it. The thing is that I didn't know there's a difference between master tone and undertone, so this helped me a lot thank uuu

sher bear: I think I look good in most lipsticks. I love bright pink when I want a bright lip against my pale skin and match my pink makeup without clashing. I also love a classic red to give me Snow White vibes and then a dark maple color to give me some color to my skin.

Ra Wiii: This is literally my favorite channel is so so unique and helpful I just sometimes wish it had more ppl other than Asian but that’s just me loving this channel so much and wanting more content that goes with my features Please continue doing this amazing work

Dea Theth: In conclusion my favorite lipstick is probably near perfect for my skin tone it's also the cheapest I have.. skin: warm, green lipstick: Catrice, Moody Plum, matte (limited edition)

InvisibleRen: I was sweating waiting for peachy undertone but I see, it falls under orange! That helps. I am not sure if I have neutral orange skin or warm orange skin. Not sure what you mean by medium vs tan but eh, as a deep bronze person I think some of the shades warm fair tones and warm medium tones work for me in addition to the ones listed under “tan” here. Idk about orangey colors but Brown-pinks (you call them milk tea shades I think?), brown-reds, basically brown as the base (versus blue/purple or orange) is very flattering to my skin tone.

Tasnim Nimmi: The perfect lipstick texture also depends on your skin type. For example, if your skin is oily then matte lipsticks are more preferable and vice-versa!

min ;D: oh my god?!? this is accurate actually i’m neutral and i practically have all the colors (of lip product) mentioned in the neutral segment. just a little story, i once bought a warm lip product that had somewhat of an orange tint (accidentally, because i bought online and the picture wasn’t accurate.) i tried it and concluded that i’d never buy a warm lip product again, and that cooler tones were for me. I then came across a really pink/purple (almost neon) lipstick (a friend had a selection of lipsticks they want to give and had me choose.) but again, i didn’t choose accurately bc i didn’t get to swatch it. so i tried it and it looked bad on me! (kinda shocked? bc i thought cool tones were for me during the duration of my then cool-toned makeup phase i’ve bought berry shades. they complimented me well (just like what was shown.) however, i also bought one product i thought was cool but really wasn’t (another inaccurate online buy ) but it still looked good on me. it was a salmon-y colored lip balm like in the video now i’ve got to try other shades mentioned.

Vivkins: Master Tone: Warm Undertone: Neutral Yellow Shade Intensity: Medium Light

Yeongi Kim: Also be aware of the lighting in the store it can fool you! I accedantly bought a cool undertoned lipstick which looked warmshaded in the drugstore and now I'm kinda frustrated because I can't wear my favourite eyeshadow with it

wa0: I have light skin with cool undertones (the veins on my wrists are purple / blue) and mix of purple and red lipstick looks best on me. I tried it today and i was like "woah..it fits so perfectly". Before that i always wore nude lip tints that looked alright and even orange which looked worst.

Pippetandpossum: You could also go into a store like ulta or sephora where you can use testers and match your perfect foundation shade to your neck or chest to see your undertone. I have to do this because I am neutral but I have very sensitive skin and a lot of redness so if I used a photo without makeup on I would get a false result. And I never wear lipstick alone, I always have on my color corrector or light foundation.

Einoonie: I LOVE THE DIVERSITY OF RACE AND SKIN COLOR IN THE VIDEO!!!

Beautiful Scenery: Thank you for the tips. And I love how organised the video is

RedeemedByGod: This is so helpful! Thank you for sharing this!

Zahra K.: I think I have warm golden olive skin undertone. I pull of orangey and peach shades really well while muaves and cool pink shades turns me into zombie.

Jen 。: I love this channel so much! It’s so informative!

vynti: Looks like I'm a neutral tone! I have the bright colors given from my mom, aunt and cousin and they looked HORRIBLE ON me. I didn't like it, I thought it was just the lipstick was bad. Good thing the colors I liked were fitting with mine

Mae Daniel: I’m glad I’m using the right shade.. this video confirmed it. You got one new sub here

Jeanne: Dear Peachie! Can you show us how to pull off red lips on different types of facial features? I know people who have delicate features or lighter visual weight can have trouble wearing red lipstick because the attention would focus too much on the lips and their other features become ''washed out''. My question is: Can everyone pull off a red lip? Thank you for your helpful content, your videos are very informative especially for Asian girls!

Austere: i have medium skin with neutral and slight yellow undertone. personally i really like the i'm meme mystery mattes. they go on really smooth and don't have a lot of transfer

eysshhh: i love how you talk about what the dont's are and just what the do's are.

Fifi Panda: Honestly, how do you not have more subs and views? Your videos are SO informative and helpful. So glad I found your channel... especially being Asian in Western country, I find it so difficult to learn Asian beauty here.

Magdalena: Cool, pink, zero intensity. Will have too go through my collection with this in mind. Thanks

Tinker Belle: Cool with pink undertones. :) I usually go for red lip gloss, bc it's closest to the natural shade of my lips. I find people who are more tan tend to have naturally pink lips. Or beige lips. I can't pull that off, even though I'd love to try pink lip gloss.

Scary Corn: neutral overtone, neutral- borderline warm olive undertone, medium intensity. It's not easy finding this out im telling ya...

Living like a queen on a low budget: It took me a very long time to find out which lipsticks are suitable to me and why. Thank you for confirming my conclusions

Hobi's sprite💜💜: I have a combo of cool and warm undertone. My cheeks are on the cooler side with pinkish hue and my under eyes and sideburns have a greenish hue, my T- zone and chin are on the warmer side with orange and yellow hue. Now I have seen a lot of YT vids about undertones and maximum of them said that if you have a mixture of cool and warm undertones than ur undertone is neutral. I often get confused so can you please explain more about this undertone.

Judith Brighton: I never hear anyone talk about this, but I have a medium, neutral-to-warm skin tone, but my teeth are not as white as they used to be, and using an orange-based or coral red really makes them look yellow. So I opt for cooler lip colors, even though I'm not technically a cool master tone. I just figured it's a neutral thing - having a slightly warm undertone, but finding cooler makeup colors to work better. There IS such a thing as too-cool makeup colors for me, but always trying to walk that line! lol

My Crazy World: I'm Asian and when I look at my skin, I honestly see yellow undertones. However, I've noticed that warms shades make me look even more yellow/dull/sickly, whereas cool tones (pink shades particularly) brighten my complexion. Gold jewellery makes me look more tan/golden (in a good way) whereas silver makes me look more bright and radiant. Someone pls tell me what my skin tone is T_T

babie blossom: Really helpful...this is what I really like about this channel...their content is original and helpful

C A: Am I missing something here? I would love to have a protruding mouth aka *PLUSH POUTY LIPS* instead of my thin and small lips! I would definitely NOT downplay "protruded" lips if I had them!

piggiesmalls4: Thank you!! This was soooo helpful

Sudeshna Roy: I always knew my pink wouldn't suit my warm yellow skin tone. But I'm still waiting for a pink that I can wear during the day time...... Atleast maybe a nude pink that is like mostly nude but just a hint of pink. If anyone know such a lipstick please let me know

CyberWarezz05: One question:I have the Lifter Gloss from Maybelline in shade 008 Stone.Does this shade counts as a "milk tea" shade?

Qay: OMG Dear Peachie can’t thank u enough for this super useful video ♥️

Naffy70: So what are the colors for dark neutral with green undertone?

ShrooMishy: I have really plump lips and I've noticed that lip oils, clear topping, etc really doesn't look flattering on me, even after trying to make it work for so long

hnng: Oh my god I requested this video just a few days ago!! Thank you Dear Peachie for listening!!

immanisara_st: I kinda already knew my undertone but still needed to check again and DAMNN you’re right and I’m right too!! Having blue/green undertone isn’t easy at all tho

Yasmin: Any type of muted color (of course no orange nor yellow) looks good on my olive cool skin but if I'm allowed to pick a soft mauve or soft muted pink and a bluish grey, like I can't put into words what that color is ‍♀️ but those two look bomb on me.

Tia Thao: This was very helpful! Love the video :))

Vickybabadoo: Maybe this can help someone but I have a fair skin tone with a mixture of a pink & blue undertone, with dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. The lip colors I have noticed that work well with my skin tone along with the color of my hair & eyes, are usually darker brown/berry colors, mauve-ish reds or brick reds. I’ll wear other colors but those are my got too. I dont like full coverage lips anymore so it’ll be tints or tinted lip balms ill wear, or lightly dabbing lipstick. But some of the products i like to wear are: Glossiers cherry & berry balm Summer Fridays Vanilla beige lip butter & their limited edition Brown Sugar lip butter Huda Beauty lip liner in Honey Beige, this one i like to use to lighten up the middle of my lips when wearing darker colors Glossiers red lip gloss Rom&nd juicy lasting tint in Peeling Angdoo Kaja air heart stick in shade Ride Or Die Rom&nd glasting water tint in Chija Beige NYX lip pencil in Mauve NARS lip pencil in Cruella 3CE heart pot lip in Woody Rose YSL lipstick Rouge Pur Couture 70 Rom&nd juicy lasting tint in Cherry Bomb Rom&nd glasting water tint in Vintage Ocean Rom&nd juicy lasting tint in Sally Mandarin Rom&nd juicy lasting tint in Maple Brown

MyDaysAsSahara: You dropped a blessing to us dear peachie
