Red Hair : All About Red Hair, Dye, Keep It Lasting Longer..

Hey everyone we are going to be talking about my hair decided to do basically a Q & A. I asked you guys on Twitter a while back about what you guys wanted to know about my hair. So that's we're going to talk about today. I'M going to answer a few basic questions that I get a lot of questions about in my hair care, routine and stuff, like that. I'Ll also show you guys all the products that I use talk about them and why I like them so before we go jumping into all about my hair, you guys have subscribed yes before you leave make sure to hit that red button down below right down there. So let's get started into the video. So I never one question I get asked all the time is what my hair color is. So when I decided to do my hair color, I had a couple of things that were my inspiration. I just simply went on Pinterest I typed in red hair, or I think I also have been burning to hear. If you type those two things up, you will find that there is a list of items that show up a lot of really good pictures, which I ended up 282 pictures and I kind of wanted to combine them. I do use kenra hair coloring products now. Those are specifically bought from the stylist and I haven't to use any other brand, that's just the one that she prefers on my hair. So that's what we use. So the extensions that I use are from Sally's Beauty, there's a bunch of different websites and stores. I assume that you can get taping extensions. They vary anywhere. I'Ve seen them from $ 70 to 120 mine at Sally CD. I get two packages, sometimes three, and they can range anywhere from like 78 to 82, which discount just depends on the time frame and sometimes allow me to use a coupon. If I pull up my hair right here, you guys are gon na, be able to see them and what it is is basically two separate extensions. One is on top and one is on bottom and then it sandwiches my hair right in between I use an old, but a true vidi. I just use dryer sheets. I simply just go to my laundry room. I grab a dryer sheet and I kind of rub it in my hair. I also do find out that, if I don't put Moroccan oil or some sort of oil in my hair after I wash it or just in the end in the morning before I go out, I use mine at having some sort of oil will actually help kind Of keep the oils in your hair and keep it from getting skaia, be throughout the day. That'S just what I do, though I know it's gon na sound gross, but I actually only wash my hair about once a week. I try not to wash my hair very often because of the extensions that I have in my hair. The other thing with extensions is that you don't necessarily want to put conditioner right at the base where it's at so when I do wash my hair. I do find that I don't have to use as much conditioner, which kind of helps prolong the amount of time I can go without having to take a shower, because I don't have all those extra added oil. So that's not the question actually so when it comes to making the right hair. Yes, I did have to buy quite a few extra products to maintain it, because I do know that red does fade out pretty fast. Although there was one product that my stylist recommended, that has helped tremendously and it's called tri color, I have featured it in my monthly favorites before, although that is the color that I use to maintain to red and keep that red going until I go into my Next visit, I do go in about every four to six weeks to get my hair colors, as you guys can see, I'm actually due to go in next week, but you can see kind of where it's definitive, between, like my natural hair, color and in the red. So this is what my hair color looks like after it's faded out. I have not done my hair and I'm actually due to go in. It'S been about five to six weeks. I want to say so it's one of those colors that if you get it deep enough - and you add more of like the violet tone to it rather than the red - I don't think it will fade out. So it doesn't fade out to anything too crazy. But I would say that if you are doing your hair, this color, I would always recommend that you add a little bit more violet and then the rent, because, if you add too much red, then when it fades out, it'll almost fade out like a reddish orange And then it's not going to look fun, especially if you don't use some sort of toner to like maintain it throughout your time, be in between stylist appointments before she has no conditioner, I'm very strict on what I've used. I don't use any sulfates any parabens or any silicone in my hair I actually just featured one product in my monthly favorites, which is what I'm using right. Now it's by biology, it's called real sexy hair. It'S in a purple bottle it's quite big. Sexy hair. You know they have a bunch of different lines. I use the purple line because I also do have a Brazilian in my hair, though that also is another reason why I am very careful on the parts that I use there's a lot of different good brands out there. My thing is is that I find that if you spend more money on your shampoo conditioner you'll find that your hair is in much better shape than interviewer to use like drugstore, shampoo and conditioner. That'S just something that I have always stood by since I did switch from drugstore to higher-end shampoo. I immediately saw the difference within a month so um just about every video. You guys see me in between a ponytail I like to put it in a side braid, because again I have extension. So I find this is the best way to hide it, or I simply will just clip it and put it up just like that, that's normally what I do away from a face is the best way possible. So the last question I get asked is: do I use box color? This is a very highly asked question on my channel just randomly throughout all my videos, while that that mean like over a year ago, I did a hair care routine, and I showed you guys how I colored. My hair rose box color. Yes, I used the box color and I know how is my stylist heard that she'd be like cringing for the longest time before it even started playing around my hair, I did use box color. I used the L'Oreal box color. I think it's called color preference in like 4 n, 4, 7 & 4 and are I lie the link down below again it is one of my tried-and-true. I use two boxes of it and I will color it every six to eight weeks whenever it starts to fade out, and I got a lot of really good compliments on it. It'S like a mahogany bread. Do I recommend a box hair color? No, I don't anymore. Now that I know the effects of it, but I completely understand I know I'll get heat for saying that box colors okay, to use if you're on a budget yeah, I definitely would use it. I mean you, don't got any other choice and you want to look good, so just do it. So I mean it is what it is, but I've used it. My hair did not fall out. I used it for like two years. My hair was probably not the healthiest, but it was fine. My hair was on my head and I had hair, that's good, I'm I should I guess so dunno. Basically the most asked questions that I get here on my channel.
