Hi guys welcome to this video I am sitting at my kitchen table because I don't know if the lighting right here is just too great to you know, pass up, even though I kind of look like I'm doing homework or something so. This video is about how I keep my hair as like red as possible for as long as possible without having to dye it like every three weeks. So to start off, this is my disclaimer. I am NOT a professional. I have not gone for school for this. I am speaking on my experience and what works for me. You are allowed to take lifts with you what you will, but take it with a grain of salt, because I am NOT a profession now. I cannot tell you what to do with your hair. These are suggestions based on what works for me, after two years of dyeing my hair red okay, there we go so now we can get threatened. I'Ve been dying, my hair red for almost few years now, and so these are just some tips and tricks. I'Ve kind of come along during my process, so I dye my hair every month and a half, usually by the end it gets a little pinky, it's closer to like a pink orange e pink, which actually isn't that bad. I dye my hair once every month and a half, but I bleached my roots every like three months, so that's just tip number one is. I have my hair bleached before I dye it. I bleach my roots every three months and that's how the color doesn't that's? How the color turns out vibrant and not muted, by the color of my hair, if you have blond, hair or really really light brown hair you'll be fine, but I have a dark brown color. Naturally, so yeah step one and two are already done step. One is to bleach whatever dark hair. You have to the point where it's like pretty light before you dye your hair you're, going to want to wash it now when you wash it only use shampoo step. Two is before you dye. Your hair, you're gon na want to wash it with shampoo only and then let it dry. I like to air dry it as much as possible and then just give it a quick blow-dry for the rest, just to avoid extra heat damage or whatever the next part of how keep my hair. This red is how I dye it. So I will leave clips that I took yesterday while I was dying, my hair, so that you can kind of see my process and how I get this color. Okay. So from my dye to get like a purplish red maroon, I don't know, I makes bread dyed and purple dye, and this is a different red than I usually use. I usually go for vampire red because it's one of the darkest ones of the series, this one kind of looks close to it. Yeah. You can't really see that well, but this one is infrared and the purple I'm going to be mixing with it is called Purple Haze, so I usually do kind of half of each, but I start with the red and kind of mix in the purple. So I can make sure that it stays looking more red than it does purple and yeah. I don't you can really see, but that's pretty dark, and here we go all the dye is in my hair. I had to make some more about halfway through that's pretty useful for me, though, yeah a little bit of mess on the face, but I can usually get most of it up, so I'm not too worried you can leave the dye that I use is Manic Panic In your hair, for as long as you want basically and it's fine, it only dies your hair for the first like 30 minutes 30 to 40 minutes, and then, after that, your hair is dyed. So if you don't want to leave it in past that you don't have to, I like to leave it in because Manic Panic has conditioning values, so my hair always ends up feeling really soft. When I leave my die in overnight, so that's what I usually do. I did not do that yesterday because I wanted to dye my hair during the day, so I left it in for about an hour and a half, I rinse my hair with cold water, because when you use hot water it opens up like the pores or whatever In your hair and it lets the dye leave, so on that note, I try to wash my hair as little as possible and when I do, I use cold water and I try and use as little shampoo as possible. If you have to use it only on your roots, a little tiny bit and make sure it's a color safe shampoo, otherwise you will find a lot of right to stripping down your shower you're going to anyways, but you'd see a lot more. If you use regular shampoo another tip, is I mix some dye into my conditioner so that I don't know it kind of replenishes? This is just like a trick. I'Ve seen on the Internet not sure how much it actually works, but I mean you're just putting a little bit of your dye into your conditioner bottle. It'S fine. Another thing that I do is when I want to replenish the color. I mix some diet into conditioner and leave it in my hair for a couple hours slush to overnight and that usually helps refresh the the color just a little tip. If you haven't dyed your hair before you probably won't know, but your hair will stain everything when you're using a semi-permanent dye, semi-permanent dye, it stains everything so careful with your bedsheets, careful with your fingers. If you don't want the red fingertips, don't do it because you'll get red fingertips for like the first week of you done your hair. You might not want to do this like two days before your job interview just say. Another tip is just to save your life. If you're still living at your parents house or if you have a landlord or something you can use toilet bowl cleaner to wash hair dye off of, like most ceramic and like I don't know like countertops and stuff, it does not work on wood or paint. But it does work on countertops, which is what I can't post on. Also, it should work on your bathtub, you just like pour it on there and leave it for a long time, and it should come off really quick. So that's just a tip for all you who dye your hair, often like me. So this is the end of the video. I hope you got something out of it. Don'T forget to subscribe. If you enjoyed - and let me know if you have any questions in the comments so I'll see you guys next time,

Giulia Falchetti: Hi! You're hair are stunning! It's just right the colour I've been looking for! After I saw your video I tried to dye my hair with vamp red by manic panic and I am very satisfied with the result! So, thanks A LOT for the tips! What lipstick were you wearing? It's beautiful and it matches very well with the colour of your hair!

JuliePatchouli888: Hey girl! Love your video! This is the color I’ve been after for a few months now. Finally took the plunge and let my hair dress dye me plum but I’m craving the reeeeed. It’s about 3 weeks HORRIBLY faded now so I’m gonna give your formula a shot. I’ll report back! Haha! In the mean time, you should do a little search on “DIY color depositing” shampoo/conditioner with semi permanent dyes. I’m “dyeing” to know if it keeps your color as vibrant between dye jobs and some people claim on YouTube!

Alyssah Delgado: Omg this is the color I’ve been trying to get YOURE A LIFE SAVER

Sakurako333: God you look gorgeous. If I could achieve a darker version of what you had I would be so happy. I'm a welcoming hostess and I don't want to damage my hair so I won't bleach it nor dye it in too bold colors. But DAMN you brave guys are awesome.

Avery Nicole: You're so adorable!! I can't wait to try this color mix !! Thank youuuu <3

Izstrella: Your hair is so beautiful! Thank you for the tips!

Bubblegum Boop 2: Beautiful hair! Great advice!

Okayy Alyssah: Hi! I bought the two colors you recommended and I'm a little worried because I am planning to wear a white dress to graduation after dying my hair. How do you suggest I control bleeding if my hair is medium length?

Michele Gonçalves: Amei a cor do seu cabelo, qual o nome da cor que esta usando?

Sage Nora: On the whole removing hair color from things. I've been dying my hair red for years now the brand Kaboom! Spray it on and leave it there for a couple of minutes and its GONE .

kelyann: thank you!! i recently dyed my hair burgundy with a garnier dye three weeks ago and it’s already faded despite me touching it up last week so i’m gonna go for the manic panic dye & report back when i use it :)

Monica M: I really wish I could have this color without all the maintenance! Maybe some day they will come up with something! I work out and sweat a lot, I don't want to sweat red! LOL! And I LOVE white! I love white sheets! I love a good white T-Shirt.. I suppose this will have to stay a dream.

lyn: does mixing the dye with your conditioner for upkeep change the color? it seems like that would dilute it and make it a different shade once you put it on your hair? also do you have any tips for getting even color throughout your hair?

Jasmijn VS: Hi!! I'm a natural ginger and really want to try this. My hair is natural for the most parts but there are still some blonde highlights left at the bottom. Do you think this will work? And with the fade out? Because I'm probably going to let it fade out until I have my natural hair colour again.

s c: Great video help me decide not to dye my hair

утка :3: Beautiful color

Karina Virgo: Ooh I love this. I have ultra violet and infrared.hopefully that combo will work similar.

JelliVlogs: your hair looks gorgeous! and lipstick to match! >.<

Fancy Bread: Not using warm water on your hair can cause you not to be able to wash the dirt from the pores of your scalp.

iaminqa: So if you keep the temporary dye for 30 mins, is it gonna stay permanent?

Ana-Maria Bolea: After the first week of dying your hair, can you wear light clothes like white or it will stain?

Chris-Tina V: I was always told to dye hair when dirty but I read the instruction and it said to wash hair before dying I was confused

Évelyne Jobin: I did approximately 4 parts vampire red for 1 part purple haze on my pale red hair , but it turned out kinda purple pinkish deep Burgundy, doesn't rlly look like yours. Should I add some red on top or wait for it to fade a bit and then add some red??? Irdk what I should do cuz I don't hate the color but I wanted it to be more discreet yk, for school (were not allowed unnatural colored hair)

nimsay lagaz: So your hair has to be fully dry before adding the manic hair dye?

Perla Zamora: I have a dirty blonde for the middle and tips and roots dark brown but mainly going for a burgundy, would I have a light red or burgundy?

WhyDoThisTo TheBro: You remind me of the girl who’s the main character in the split movie.

Elizabeth Melendez: Loving this color. I dyed my hair magenta n it did not come out at all. In order to get your beautiful color I would need to bleach all my hair? I've never bleached my hair before

lindsayrae: Does this bleed alot when exercising or going in water ?

H4nn4h: What is the difference between vampire red and infra red?

Keyri Velasquez: How do you bleach your hair?

Gabrielle Wietrick: Do u add the purple to make it a darker red ?

Julliana Rodriguez: If I mix Black Raven and Red Wildfire will it come out a dark red? That's the color I want

Vanesa Cabrera: Do you put developer on it

tammys account: are you burning incense or was that a orb behind you?

Beach Waves: when i sweat this color drips red. urrg love the color but not the product

Vape Girl: What manic panic colour is this?

trvpstrr: ITS FUCKING BURGANDYYYYYYYYYYYY

Hannah Benard: Why does she have to bleach? Couldn't she have just added a 20 or 30 percent peroxide with Manic panic really need to know

Ashley Ortiz: It’s actually better not to wash your hair before dying...it grabs the color more
