Diy Brunette To Ginger/Red Hair Tutorial (At Home)

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel uh. Today'S video is going to be a herding, video and now, prior to this, i have got a bit of a sore throat. It'S not miss uh coronavirus, don't worry, it is just novel, seasonal flu. I had a test and it was negative, but yeah i've been a bit sick last week and my voice is still not recovering. I wanted to film a video which is a little bit of retro for me, so i have wanted to go ginger for the longest time. I tried to do it last week. However, it ended up being a bit of a fail. I got some box, her dies plugged them on my head and it literally did next to nothing to rehearse so um. It lifted my roots up a tiny bit, but apart from that, no it was a. It was a complete fail. So i realized at that point. I actually needed to go and buy some bleach. It'S been a while, since i've used like bleach on the whole of my head now, i'm looking at them, i'm hoping this is going to be enough. Um, if not, i'm gon na have to get some shampoo and try like spread the product around a bit, but i'm not trying to go super blonde anyway. I just want it a little bit of lift just before i start this video. If you've watched any of my previous um her tutorials - and you know, i'm not a trained hairdresser and yes a lot of times, it does go quite wrong. So, let's hope that's not today, because i've got to go out tomorrow. Okay, so i've just mixed. My live, xl, um bleach and i'm actually going to put it in a bowl because i'm going to be adding some shampoo because number one, i don't want it to be super harsh. I don't want it to lift my hair loads. I just literally want to take off the super dark, her diaper and but also, i don't think i've got enough bleach. Two boxes of bleach too. My whole head is off in okay, so i'm just gon na take my mixture, plop it in a bowl and now i'm just going to add some of the shampoo i'm just eyeballing, really to be honest, i'm just like we don't follow instructions. Okay! So now i'm just going to give it a bit of a mix, and that is strong. So i'm actually going to put this on the ends of my hair, because i feel like that's, going to be the most difficult to lift, because my head is actually a little bit lighter. So i will go in with this bleach instead because i don't think this one's as harsh. Okay, so wish me luck. Fingers crossed okay, so the whole xl bleach bleachers on my hair. Now i'm going to start on my roots because i don't want to have like abandoned work. My roots are going to be like super light and then the end's going to be super dark. So yeah, that's why i'm doing my roots last so now i'm going to use ultimate definition, light blonde bleach, um so yeah. It says it doesn't work on super darker, so um, but yeah, i'm hoping it's just gon na lift a little bit it's gross. So i can already see the ends of my hair lifting and so now i'm going to plop this on my head and i haven't added any shampoo to this because i don't think it's as strong as the xl um so yeah. Let'S hope it goes. Okay, so so all the bleach is on my head now and i can actually see my hair lifting um so yeah, i'm just going to keep massaging it and hope the color and lifts a little bit evenly, but yeah i'm just going to eyeball it and then Wash it off when i think it looks as a reasonable level. Okay, so it's been about 15 minutes and i'm just gon na check up on my hair. So i'm using these dead rustly gloves you get with her die they're just terribly like chief um yeah. So that's there we go, oh god, oh sh, so my roots are lifted, but i have a ring around my head. So, oh, no, so what i'm going to do is i'm going to get my hair dryer and try to blast this dart ring around my head. Oh and try and lift it somewhat. Okay, so i'm not very hopeful at this stage, because i have hot roots and a little bit of a ring around my head and yeah um. So i'm gon na wash it out and hope, i'm left with something that i can work with. So i've just blow dried, my hair and it's not as bad as i thought it was going to be now. There is um a dark band around my head still. So when i went to boots the color that i wanted to go, wasn't actually there that i originally chose. So i actually picked up three different colors um, because i couldn't make my mind up, but my original plan was, i was going to put them in a bowl mix them all together and hope that the color turns out nice, but because i've got a darker patch On my head, i'm going to use the live excel on that area to see if it's going to lift up a little bit um, and then i'm going to put this on my root because they're a little bit hot. When i say hot, i mean like light and then i'm gon na put the casting cream gloss um, because i think this is gon na be the least harsh and i'm gon na put that on the bottom of my hair. So yeah that's my plan. I hope it goes well um yeah, because i've got no other dyes in the house at this point. So whatever happens after this, i've got to go out looking and i don't even have a hat so i've just quickly drawn onto my eyebrows, just so my face. Like makes a little bit more sense, i hate it when i'm looking back on videos - and i haven't - got my eyebrows on and i just can't seem to process my face. I'M gon na go in with the live xl first and attach this band around my head. Okay, so i've had this day on now for about 20 minutes, and i can't see much difference in my hair at the moment, and so i'm just gon na go and pop this on my roots. Now i'm gon na go in with the l'oreal casting cream, glues. Okay, so the hair dye from chlorell seems to have like a bit of a blue tint to it now this is usually what my hair dye does when it's going black. So i hope this is the right hair dye in the box. Okay, so i'm just gon na leave this on my head now for about half an hour um and when i wash it out hope that can walk out the house tomorrow. Now the color that i've used on my roots actually seems to be darkening them up a bit which i'm relieved about, because they were going a little bit too bright for me, um, so yeah. Let'S hope this isn't a her disaster again, okay, everyone! So this is the final result. I am super happy. It'S actually come out a lot nicer than what i thought it was now. I still have a bit of a dark ring around my head, but it's not as bad as what i first thought. It was going to be: did i make this process um more complicated than it needed to be? Of course, i did next time i dye my hair red i'll - probably just go over this dark patch a little bit just to lift it up. But apart from that, i'm feeling like a new person - i am loving it, i'm digging it it's something. I'Ve never done before so yeah.
