Okay, the first step, i'm gon na, tell you in this video. The first thing you got ta do is press the subscribe button. Please press it press it watch the whole video, hey guys. It'S kat welcome back to my channel if you're new here, i hope you enjoyed this video, as you saw by the title in today's video, i'm gon na, be sharing with you, my hair care routine, and how i maintain my red hair now right now, my red Hair is super faded. How do i start this off? I should have wrote like a script or something, let's start off with my hair type. So my i have very fine hair. I have a lot of hair, but it's not thick. It'S very fine hair. You can't see from here but um, yes, also that my hair gets oily right away, usually like today, i washed it and i guess, since my hair is like kind of thin like it just gets oily right away. So i'm telling you my hair ties so that you can know how often i wash my hair, i wash my hair like twice a week, so that the color doesn't fade that much this color you guys i haven't updated, updated. I haven't touched up my red hair in three weeks almost a month, so this is what it fades out to we're. Gon na start off with the hair care routine and then i'll, show you and then i'll. Tell you how i touch up the red. Like i said, i only wash my hair twice a week, so in those days where i don't wash it and my hair gets really oily. I use this bad boy. This is a dry shampoo. This is the brand suavecita. This is their dry shampoo spray, and you guys this dry shampoo is the only dry shampoo that actually works. Really good. I'Ve tried all the popular dry shampoos and they all like leave a white residue or you just don't absorb the oil really good, and this is the only one so far that doesn't leave a terrible white residue and it actually adds volume to your hair, which is Something i look for because, like i said, i got thin hair and this dry shampoo is also vegan cruelty, free paraben, free gluten free gluten gluten-free. I don't know why. I definitely recommend this okay. How do i say this so when you retouch your red hair you're? Not supposed to use like a red, hair, shampoo or a red hair, conditioner right after you dye it because, like what's the point like you just dyed your hair, red and you're gon na go into the red shampoo, like i feel like. That would make your um red hair dye fade faster. So the shampoo i use is the love, beauty and planet marumaru butter and rose blooming, color sulfate, free shampoo and it says vibrancy for color treated hair. This is the one take a screenshot yeah. The only downside is that it doesn't really sud up a lot, but it okay, it does sud up. Is that the word sud yeah, it does sud up wasn't, but not as much as like a head and shoulders or like not as much as you know. The regular drugstore shampoos smells really good. It leaves your hair soft. After that. I use this conditioner by she moisture. This is the manuka, honey and yogurt hydrate, plus repair conditioner with mafura and boa bub. Well, i kinda know oils so this one hydrates and restores extremely dry brittle hair. This also says sulfate, free and color safe. So that's why? I use it. My hair does feel really soft after this, so i recommend this. The reason why i got this conditioner is because i love their hair mask from this line, specifically um the manuka, honey and yogurt line, hydrate plus repair, and this one strengthens and protects extremely dry brittle hair. This mask makes my hair feel so good guys like what sorry i don't know what else to say about a hair mask like this just makes my hair super soft and manageable after i shower with those two. I go ahead and use these three products. Actually, not this one, but i use these mostly this one. But okay, let me talk about it, so this is. I got this, so this is from the brand called red, frederick, fakai um. I got this out of nordstrom rack. Sorry, it's all dirty, but it's called the one says one to believe in leave-in conditioner. It says exclusive marine, complex lightweight for all hair types and yeah. It'S a leave-in conditioner. It'S like a spray, but i don't spray it in mostly because it's a very um kind of a thick spray. So, like i'm cutting that out, i was going to show you the consistency, but it just did not look right so anyway, and i'm putting these products. In my hair, i put my hair in half, so i go one two, three, four, five. Six, seven eight rub it like this, and then i put it all over my hair like that, and i very slightly get the top because, like i said, i get oily so like i mostly put at the bottom like that and then i'll just skim over the Top once just like that, so i do that eight squirts one side, eight squares, the other side. I know it seems like a lot, but you guys i got this like two months ago and it's still really full like it's all the way up here. I really like this. It leaves my hair soft. I don't know if this is the reason why my hair is shiny, but i'll show you what really makes your hair shiny, like i'll, show you anyway so yeah. This is a leave-in conditioner. I put this on while my hair is still damp. If i decide to blow dry my hair or if i decide to use any heat on my hair, i use this heat protectant, so it's called hot commodity, a hard working heat protectant. It says it shields softens and prevents, and it's for all hair types - and this also comes in like a spray form, it's kind of like thick. So it's not like a watery consistency, so i i do the same thing like i spray a bunch of times in my hand, go like this and i just put it all over my hair, and i put it especially on my like blondie part, because this part's, Like super damaged, so as that's the same for the leave-in conditioner like i try to focus it on this because it's kind of damaged and like i want the color, my red color, to stick better on that. So i just been like conditioning it anyway, so yeah this is a heat protectant, the sensor. These are not strong at all like they, it's not a really strong scent, so it doesn't linger throughout the day or anything. None of these hair products have a strong smell. Like it's all very light and not overpowering, there's this other product, it's called paul mitchell, yeah, paul mitchell, smoothing super skinny serum and it says it smooths and conditions. This, i think, really makes your hair shiny. I also feel like the way i blow dry, my hair and straighten it makes it shiny too. I guess i only use this if i feel, like my hair, looks dry. This feels like an oil anyway yeah, so i showed you my shampoo conditioner, my hair mask and the leave-in treatments that i use every time i wash my hair. I use those products except the mask the mask. I probably use like once a month a lot of people ask how i got my hair so long and i'm just gon na be honest. Guys, like i feel like it's, because i don't wash my hair that much like i feel, like the natural oils, just help. Your hair grow. I can't really scientifically back that up because i'm not a specialist, nor am i like a freaking scalp doctor, like i don't even know, but to me i feel like that's why my hair grows fast and is healthy. Now i'm gon na talk about how i maintain my red hair so, like i said right now, my red hair is really faded. So when my red hair starts to look faded like this or when i notice a big difference, that's when i start using these red shampoo, these red, hair, shampoo and conditioners. So i haven't really tried a lot of red hair conditioners or color boosting red stuff, like i looked on amazon for like shampoos and conditioners for red hair that have the red color pigment in it. But i noticed that it was just not the red that i wanted from those red shampoos like most color, depositing shampoos and conditioners that are for redheads. The red most of the time is like a coppery red, or you know, like an orange red or like those very red reds like the red that i really like, and you can see from my other videos, it's kind of more like a magenta red. So that's why i haven't bought those expensive ones that you see on amazon. I went ahead and bought the john frieda radiant red red, boosting shampoo and conditioner uh. I don't really know if these work like maybe it does - maybe it doesn't they're kind of moisturizing but they're kind of just like your basic drugstore shampoos. I'Ll just show you what, like the shampoo looks like kinda looks like jello where's, the camera, that's what it looks like. So it's not very pigmented the shampoo, the conditioner honestly, it looks like a burgundy color i'll show you. So this is what the conditioner looks like. So it's like that weird color, so i would say the conditioner isn't very uh pigmented either what i use to let's say touch up my roots. I go in with the same l'oreal high color highlights in magenta with a 30 volume developer. I go on that with my roots because with my roots, only because that um combination - really i don't see it - i'm not going to say it - has bleach in it, but it lightens your hair a lot. So i only use those for my roots because this is already lightened, like i don't need to lighten it more and if i use that same l'oreal high color highlights for the rest of my hair. It'S just gon na damage, my hair and it's already light. So i don't need to use that for the rest of my hair. I just put it in my roots. What i do use to bring that color back is a semi-permanent hair color. I use the same suave sita brand and i use their semi-permanent hair color in mantra. That'S the color. It'S also vegan and cruelty free. This is what i use for the rest of my hair. Do my roots? First, with the l'oreal high color highlights now i'm just going to my hairdresser, so she could do my roots because i'm i'm too lazy, but you could definitely do it yourself, because i used to and then of course after i dye my hair, i always go on With that she moisture mask, if you guys were wondering what kind of tools i use my blow, dryer is literally the cheap revlon one. My straightener is also revlon. Sometimes i use a crimper. I think that's revlon two, if you guys, are wondering how often i cut my hair, i cut it honestly. Lately i've been cutting it every time i go to the hairdresser which is like once a month and she cuts off an inch or two. I don't know if my hair grows an inch or two i mean, as you can see by my roots. I don't know, is this an inch? I don't know the last time i did my roots was a month ago, and this is the regrowth. I don't. I don't know if this is an inch or not, but i guess you could say that's how fast my hair grows before the pandemic. Honestly, i would just cut my hair once a year. This probably isn't your first red hair video, so you guys probably know what else other people do. I'M just telling you what i do because i've had some subscribers ask me so yeah. Oh, i didn't even mention this. So, most of the time you guys i don't blow dry, my hair, i let it air dry, so maybe that also adds to why it's why it looks kind of healthy. I don't know why i did this. This is the end of my video. Oh, please go ahead and, like the video comment down below press subscribe, did i say to watch the whole video you
