You know i've been thinking about you. What'S up guys, welcome back to our channel, it's literally midnight right now and i'm still up. I literally have no makeup on. I was laying in bed and i'm like you know what i'm bored so i'm gon na dye my hair, welcome to today's video i'm going red by the way, i'm just gon na point that out, because it's not a secret. I'Ve always liked red hair, but not like super bright red, i'm hoping for like a dark, burgundy red. I have a hair appointment tomorrow, so if i screw it up, i'm gon na have her fix it, because i got a lot of stuff going on next week, which you guys will find out about, and so i don't want to look stupid. You know i'm using like the manic panic, vampire red that i showed on my maddie joy channel. It'S called manic panic. I have the little jar version and it's semi-permanent it'll wash out in like four to six weeks. I believe so. Nothing too crazy. I'M gon na have to touch it up for another event that i have to tell you guys about soon, but yeah. So, let's get into it hopefully even shows up on my hair. My hair is super dark, okay, so i've already showered and have perfectly clean hair. It is ready to go like it's very rare that my hair is clean. It'S usually well the problem with my hair. It'S clean like i shower, but the problem with my hair is that it gets greasy within like 12 hour periods. So, even if i showered like morning of it'll be greasy by the night, so that's just and it doesn't work. People are going to comment. I already know what they're going to comment like. Oh you have to like you can't wash it every day. You have to wash it every three days. It doesn't work for me, even if i don't wash it for three days and i've done this for like three months now. I'Ve been training it and not washing. It every day and it still gets crazy within 12 hours. So i think it's just a me thing that i have to live with, so that's that it's okay though so i need to light a candle. This is like stressing me out because i've first of all never had my hair of color. Second of all, i don't know what i'm doing, because i've just never dyed my hair before myself. I just know this is gon na, be so messy and if it looks bad, it is what it is like we're gon na make it work kind of fun. So my thinking is that this jar is not going to be enough. For me, i have very fine thin hair, like literally you could see my scalp very easily very thin hair, but it's also very long. So will this jar cover my whole head? I'M not sure, that's why i have four more okay guys, so i went and got a huge jar from downstairs. I like i said i have four of these, so i'm just gon na pour this in here. Here we go. Okay, i have to focus because i only got one shot to make. It look good, and this washes out, though, all right guys, so i just did one side, i'm not sure how this is gon na turn out. I literally have it all over my neck and my ear, so that's great, but i'm gon na start doing my right side. Now. This took me an hour. All right, you guys are just gon na get time lapse, all right guys. So i just finished my entire head and wrapped my head up in a plastic bag. So that's the update and this side has been on for like an hour and a half, and this side has been on for 30 minutes. So i don't know if i should like go and wash this side and let this side marinate a little longer. Is that, like the word marinade or is that chicken i don't know, but we're letting this side? You know soak in a little bit longer because this side has been in for like the whole day, so i'm gon na go downstairs. I think and rinse this side out, and hopefully it comes out good. I left this piece out, so hopefully this doesn't stain too bad because i do have to film tomorrow, and so, if it's gon na be red like this, i'm just gon na have to put makeup on top. So that won't be that fun and my ears are definitely covered. You can see already they're covered, my scalp's covered, my wrists, our towels, my sink, and the counters are stained. So this has been maybe like a three out of ten rating experience. So, let's rinse this crap out, it is the next day i still have not shown elijah my hair yet and i need to shower super super bad. I'M gon na do my makeup for the first time with my burgundy red hair and see how i like it. So stay tuned, i'm gon na shower get all this extra dye out and clean my face. It'S like super red because of the hair dye, and i did myself tan, so i'm all ready to look cute today. I will not look like this in a little bit. This is like a major major catfish video, because i'm going from like this to really cute so it'll be fun. It'S gon na be a fun video and then i'm gon na be surprising elijah with my new hair. Oh my god. I hope he loves it. It'S different. I'Ve had the same exact hair since i was you know, 17 years old, so i think he's gon na love it and i'm excited to see his reaction. So i'm gon na shower and get ready for the day and i'll talk to you guys in a little bit all right guys. I am back and looking better, i love my hair when my makeup's on i just like it's just so pretty. Oh, my god. I love him so much. This is my outfit. For the day i just filmed a bunch of tic tocs wearing this cute little outfit with my little ring light and i'm ready to surprise elijah. It'S it's about time to surprise him. So hope you guys are excited. I also film my makeup. I love it so so much so. I'M excited to see what he thinks. I think he's gon na love it and i'm basically just gon na call him in here and show him it babe come here. What'S up come here in the bathroom, oh okay, okay, bye! I hope i didn't show my hair on accident. Okay, wait! I need his first reaction up. What did you do come here? Oh did you do it? You did it yo? This is way brighter than i thought it was gon na turn out. Do you like it? So he kind of knew. I was wanting to dye my hair, but he didn't think i'd actually do it and i did it. I didn't think you're really gon na. Do it because you've been talking about her so long, you're like oh i'm gon na, do it i'm gon na. Do it and then you literally like just randomly, do it? I guess: do you like it yeah, it turned out way better than i thought i thought it was going to be like really dark. I just i don't know how this it like changes, your brown hair to this color. I don't know. No, i don't get how that works. I don't either, but those are the same. I have to wash it again wow i like rinsed it. I rinsed it, but it needs like actually washed because it's getting greasy, but whenever i shower, i heard that it's gon na make it bleed all over like just red everywhere. So is it not permanent? No, that must be really concentrated for it to like right for it to actually stay in your hair, like that, that's crazy! That blows my mind, because i thought you literally had to like bleach your entire head for it to look like this right and i didn't bleach it off. So do you love it? What do you think live? It looks good. Like you know, i didn't. I didn't think it was going to look good. If i'm being honest with you like just me, imagining it i was like i don't know, that's it's gon na turn out. It turned out way better than i thought it was going to like good a lot better. Yeah, it looks really good. I love it so yep i dyed my hair and i took them along the process of it and i surprised elijah and i even surprised myself, i'm like shocked me too. I didn't think you were really gon na do it. I did not either like say that i'm just really, i'm really surprised. I love it, though. I think that would look really cool, but there's also, i like this too, like yeah, i'm starting off a little bit calm and then, maybe in the future i'll do like a bright red yeah. No, i think i think it looks good, especially with like your makeup and stuff thanks. I'M gon na go enjoy my red hair love. grace: I absolutely love this shade of red where it’s not too bright, but it also seems not too dark at e same time if you know what I mean by looking at the results of her hair. I honestly want to dye my hair red now, and I previously got my hair dyed my natural brunette color after being tired of blonde highlights I had, and yet earlier today I was literally thinking if I dyed my hair again I’d want to try a light brunette, but now I kindle want to dye my hair red like I said. But however I would like it to come out the way it did for you where it’s not too bright and too dark, I really want to be able to use the same product you used, but I don’t know with dying your hair red that you’d have to re-dye, basically re-bleaching it everyday because you said its a semi product where it’s temporary. And I honestly legitimately thought of Ariana Grande bleaching her hair red as Cat Valentine lol. I also kept wondering bc of the fact you had the dye all over ur skin, whether that could possibly damage your skin or not, I also want to become a cosmetologist myself so that’s something that i can learn, Idk if you know or not, but that was something that struck me so i can do that for myself and for others

Aimée Dickinson: Hey Maddie I had the same problem with my hair being oily. Does your shampoo have sulfate? That is the chemical that makes it Suds and it produces extra sebum (the oil on your scalp) so a sulfate free shampoo might work for you.
AMAL FATIMA: Oiling your hair might help with the greasiness because it fulfills the oil needs of the scalp, hence preventing excessive greasiness.
