Hi everyone welcome to my channel um. Today'S video is going to be all about my hair and yeah. I'Ve recently gone from dart brunette to ginger and i'm still in the process of learning the upkeep. It'S a color. I'Ve never had before so yeah. If you are interested in this type of video, please stay tuned so back in. I think it was january. I actually did my roots and i bleached the dark, abandon that i had in my hair because um when i originally bleached it it didn't target like a ring around my head, so yeah. I went over that and it's evened it out a lot. It'S a lot better than what it was and but today we're just going to be doing my roots and then i'm going to top up my color a little bit um with some semi-permanent dye. So i'm going to be using this live excel mango twist, hair dye um by schwarzkopf. I can never say that, but last time i did my roots back in january. I used this and it works great and i have quite a few greys now i'll show you a picture, but my hair is going quite gray and i'm naturally a dark brunette, but i've got some wisdom highlights coming in. So let's cover them up today. I don't want anyone to know i'm wise, so this hair dye, you can literally get in the uk like boots super drug, quite a common brand. I think it's the same in america as well, but on the back, this is the color that it's supposed to change. Your hair um, so if you are super blonde, it would probably go really bright orange now, because i've naturally got darker. It just lifts it a little bit and just gives it a bit of a red uh tone to it. But i did get this from wilkinson's and it was like five pounds so yeah super cheap. So first of all i'm going to mix my die up, so i have the developer and a color squidgy thing. So, as you can see, the dye is there and then i think that's the developer, not a hairdresser and i'm just going to give it a little shake. So i do usually do this process in my bathroom, but the lighting's crap, so um yeah film it here and at a risk sacrificing my carpet. Okay, so i've just got the very noisy gloves i'll, be on noisy okay, so i've just zoomed in a little bit. So i'm going to be using my mixture and i've took the top of it, and this is the super super complicated part um. I just start on the front of my head and then rub it about so yeah. It'S not rocket science, so i tend to start on the middle, because this is where my hair um gets sectioned a lot. So i want that to be the most vibrant, i'm not particularly um careful if you can probably tell by this process uh, but this is just what i used to do. Basically, when i had brunette her. This is how i do my roots everyone, so it has been about a week later, since that last clip was filmed and i have styled my hair. I have dried it. I'Ve slept in some bendy rollers and this is what i've been left with. So the xl die works really well on darker now i usually just put the excel die just on my roots, um, and if i want to top up my color further down my hair, like on my ends, i will use the adore um semi-permanent hair dyes in Cajun spice or french cognac. So all these do it's just a semi-permanent hair dye and it just puts a bit of color back in my hair without damaging it, whereas if i use the excel die all the time like on my ends continuously my head get really dry, so yeah. That'S why i use the semi-permanent dyes on my ends: um, but yeah. That'S pretty much it. If you do have any questions, please leave them down below. Please like this video. Please subscribe to my channel and i will see you in the next video guys bye,
