DEFINITELY CHECK THIS OUT: (the salon where I got it done)

http://www.hair-stylist.cz

Hi everyone, so it is Friday morning and I'm just about to go to the salon to get my purple hair. Finally, I'm so excited, I just can't wait to have purple hair and I decided to do some kind of vlog to show you how I went through the process and, if you're familiar with my videos, you know that I have sort of a darker red. Oh hair dye right, not one. My hair and I've had that for a couple of years, so I decided to go while going in some crazy color for for a change and well, I am going to have to get it bleached. So I'm gon na tell you all about how Dan and I may get to film something or a distinct features at this one. So I will later include those so I really have to go now. So I will talk to you probably when I have Viper Claire hello, so it is Monday today and as you can see, I have my purple hair and it did not turn out like 100 %, as I hoped, because you know um. All this hair was red before so you cannot like get out red hair dye like completely, but near my roots. As you can see, the color is just Wow amazing. I love it so much and it actually looks a little bit blue on camera, but it's like a bright bright awesome purple in real life and also I have some bright purple like down here, because I used to dye my hair black. Like I don't know five or six years ago - and there is still like some hair that has that black in it, so a black is actually easier to get out with bleach, then red. So this is how it sort of turn now, but I mean I kind of like that. It'S not like just one color I mean I would to have that, but I think it's a little bit more interesting like this and more unique. I guess and it's like radish purplish-pinkish color and I kind of really really love it, and I also got banks and I think it's a little bit more practical to have banks with this kind of hair, because when he's going to grow out is you can only See it here and I like that, a lot more and I always always loved banks on other people. But I was just too afraid to do it on myself, because I you can see that my hair is just super long and the idea of cutting it. So much just totally freaks me out, but, as you can see, I survived it and I love it and I love that. I have something new and something different because and I'm still not used to it I mean I haven't washed it yet so the the fringe. Just sits and tries to be there, but it's gon na get better after a couple of washes and I used to have like the same here for the longest time. I just really wanted to have it long like as long as possible - and I remember the last big haircut that I had was in December of 2006, and I had like this hair and, like the front pieces, were a little shorter and basically like that. My hair. Just grew to this length and I cut it - I don't know maybe three times in that period, so you know I just wanted to grow it out, and so finally, I have something different and not just the color but also the hairstyle. So I hope you like it. Let me tell you what I got done in the salon. I had two stylist awesome stylist and first they bleached my hair, obviously, and they used six and four percent bleach and I'll have like the exact information on my blog because I'm going to to them and we're going to put together like an article and you're gon Na know like exactly what they used so make sure to check that, so they wrapped, like all the bleached hair in an aluminum foil. So he can build up more he'd and after they worked it out, they cut the hair and did the banks. But like sort of dirt and they were going to make them like nicer and more polish after, like in the end, and they dyed it with a purple hair dye and they didn't mix it with anything like it was pure hair dye and they also curled it. Like they wrapped strands of my hair around their fingers and then pinned it into place - and I was really glad to have experienced that because I don't curl my hair, so it was nice to try something else, but at the next day when I was at home, I straightened it and, as you can see, it's it straight at the moment, because I love straight hair, but it was still nice to try how curled hair would look at me and this whole process took 6 hours and it's because well, my hair is very long. So it took a long time, but honestly I was expecting that it would last even longer, because I know that uh dyeing your hair takes always a lot of a lot of time and anytime. I used to dye my hair red. It took like almost 2 hours, so that was understandable, so this is like the process that I went through and what they did to my hair. I have to tell you, if you ever decide to like get rid of the color, that you have at the moment or well bleach your hair. Do not do it at home, so the biggest difference between bleaching, your hair at the salon and at home, is in the bleach, and my stylist told me that the bleach that you can get in the drugstore. Well, I'm not sure if it doesn't have a stopper or it works for 2 or 3 hours, which is like too long on a culture. I will have like the precise information on my blog and the bleach that they used on me. They said that it stops working after 40 minutes, so obviously that's good, and that was actually what I was thinking about when I was just you know, thinking about bleach and how it works. Now, if you start doing your, I don't know the front of your hair and finish with the back, obviously you're going to have the bleach on the front of your hair for a longer time. So how is it going to you know work? How can it get even so, even after they washed out the bleach from my hair, they said that my hair is not damaged, which is like the best news that you can get after looting, your hair. So this is like number. One reason why I would definitely recommend you going to so on. I mean I'm not forcing anyone. This is just my experience and I had an amazing experience at the salon. Yes, it is expensive, but if you love your hair and want to keep it long, just save up, and it's really worth it and also I got it done at an alternative studio here in Prague, and I was really glad that I chose this particular studio because They have like experience with bleach and like crazy, colors and stuff like that, because usually when you go to like sort of a normal salon, well, I actually did go to a normal salon to ask for information because they had like a display of Direction sample, like The hair dye, so I was glad that yeh they have it somewhere. So I went in and asked for for more information and the lady was sort of like what do you want to do to your hair like it's just expensive, it's going to ruin it and it doesn't last for a long time, and I was like yeah. I know all that and she was like getting angrier and angrier the more she was talking to me. So it's like you, don't want anyone who reacts to that spend six hours on your hair. Okay, so I guess this is it for this hair vlog? I hope you liked it I'm going to have like more in-depth information on my blog so make sure to go and check that out. I think I'm going to do some hair tutorials. I know I can't wash my hair very often, so I think I'm gon na go and have a look into like dry shampoos and maybe do some reviews and if you have anything like specific, you would like to see just tell me in the comments down below So don't forget to subscribe to my channel, so you can keep up with all my new videos. I usually upload every five or six days and so in the future. There'S definitely going to be more hair videos, so, if you're into that make sure to stick around, you can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+. All the links are in the description bar below okay. So, thank you so much for watching and I'll see you very soon with a makeup tutorial. Bye,

amEAGLEBABY5: I feel like the best way to go red to purple w/o bleach is just to use the color wheel .. Red and blue make purple so u can first just use a blue base (blue dye) and than go in w/ regular purple dye ...I've done it and it works great

Samantha: For anyone trying to go from red to purple it is a long process if you want it done right. First you will need to bleed as much of the red out as possible, there are a few ways to do this. Take dandruff shampoo, mix it with crushed vitamin C tablets, and Dawn dish soap mix it well then saturate your hair, let it soak in then rinse it out with hot water. Youll have to do this a few times but everytime youll see the red just pour out of your hair. One thing that helps some people it a product called Color Oops, it shrinks the color molecules so they just slip through the hair BUT if you had achieved your red with Splat or ManicPanic (direct application reds) Color Oops will not work on removing those. Other option is a bleach bath which is a bit gentler then full on bleaching your hair but if your hair is damaged id avoid bleach at all cost. Depending on how much you let your hair bleed/fade will have different results. If you are trying to achieve a neon intense purple you will have to have pale bleached hair if you just put purple over very faded red youll USUALLY end up with a dark kind of magenta purple. If you are unsure and afraid of what the outcome will be with the purple just do a test strip. Collect the faded red hair from your hairbrush place it on some tinfoil and apply the purple on it then fold it and let it sit. Whatever the color ends up in the tinfoil is what youll end up with on your head.

Lioness006: Love the way your hair turned out! Multi-dimensional looks so awesome. I love how red and purple play well together. It suits you.

Blabla closed.: Love your hair girl, it looks so good on you! I dyed my hair purple last week too and I had the same problem with old red colour in my hair, glad to see I'm not the only one haha x

olivia7sam: I love your hair! My daughter's hair has been dyed deep red by me for a number of years. She wanted to go violet. I had always bleached her roots before adding the color which was a vampire red Manic Panic. We now bought Manic Panic Ultra Violet. I was afraid to bleach her whole head as I was afraid it would ruin her hair so I only bleached the roots. To make a long story not quite so long she hated it. I thought it was really nice and came out something like yours, except with more magenta at the ends. I just did her hair again. I bleached the whole thing but didn't bleach enough off the ends. She's rinsing it out now so we'll see how it turns out. Red hair is very hard to cancel out. I even added some blue that I had left over to cancel out the red further. I have a feeling she's gonna hate it but I didn't want to damage her hair so we'll see.

Mary Crawley: I love how the color turned out on this woman, looks very cool on her! I colored my hair for 7 years black then I wanted to go Vibrant Red so I gradually on my Own bleached my hair and finally I got All the black out myself. It’s way better and less harsh to gradually bleach your hair like I did myself since bleach can be so damaging on your hair. And now for past couple of years I’ve colored my hair a very vibrant red and and want to color my I guess lower middle and ends a vibrant purple but I’m either going to do it myself since I know how and or go to a certain salon that every woman in my family goes to bc they know what the Hell their doing . Trust me I’ve been to many salons in the past and they Messed my hair up and then of course they still expect you to pay when they F’d up. A professional Should tell you up front so you know , that depending on your haircolor etc that it may come out not the way you want etc etc but unfortunately a lot Don’t then you have messed up hair and then they want you to pay. So if you have found a Great colorist and can afford it then that’s great if not you can research how to do it yourself.

Kim G.: The title is misleading.. this isn't purple on red hair, this is purple on red hair that has been bleached first. Either way, the result is super pretty, but I still want to know what will happen if you put purple dye directly on red hair..

Kiki Dee: I can agree from personal experience about how tough red hair dye is to get out! Months and month of washing, and it won't properly fade. Colour remover, it will not completely remove the red. It really is the most difficult colour to get out

Johanna Maria Beilenhoff: You look so so pretty with the new hair color! I love it

Emily Rose: I had red hair, for the past few months I been dyeing my hair purple, without bleach, and the first time my hair came out bright red/pink . I was surprised, it was like I didn't dye it at all. The second time I used another hair dye and my hair started to look a little purple. So, it took me a while to gradually remove the red, and now after 3 months there's still some red. I've been red for 8 years, you can imagine how long it would take to get the purple I want. So I decided next time to bleach it. Wish me luck

Nicole L: Gorgeous! The pictures at the end show it in better lighting also. I love it. My hair is currently bright red. I use pravana chromosilk vivids. Going to use their violet(which is actually a VERY beautiful darker & intense purple) here soon. Their dye lasts a long time and stay intense, despite being a seme-permanent dye. Anyways yeah, I love your accent and this dye job of yours. It's beautiful on you! :-)

Jennifer Reneé: Oh wow I didn't know it wasn't supposed to be 2 toned like that, it looks like it was on purpose! I really love that it turned out that way! Like you said it makes it look more interesting. I love it!! :) -Jennifer

Johanna Maria Beilenhoff: You look so so pretty with the new hair color! I love it

Shavoni Petty: the two colors are perfect together

Zimi Chimi: Can somebody help me? I have pink hair right now, and I really want to dye it red. My dad won't let me strip the dye nor bleach it (for many reasons). I need it to be red as soon as possible because my boss has gotten complaints about my pink hair, and said that if it isn't gone as soon as possible then I will get fired. I want it red because I still want a fairly different colour as I have had almost every natural hair colour. If I dye my hair with the red dye, what general colour will it come out as? And by the red I want I want a dark red, not really too natural but my boss said that any shade of red will be fine. I just need help, because it's the best job I've had in a long time, and I'd prefer to keep it.

Haley Marie: the bleach and lightening kits at Sally's beauty salon store are not as harmful as she says if you do them right

Lindanora Rivera: You can get red hair dye out of your hair without bleaching. You can use color oops it is an amazing hair color remover

allsupergirl: I just dyed my hair purple with blue ends on sunday

Rebeka Obuka: I have red hair now, but I want to dye it purple, does anyone have any tips for me? With no bleaching, if possible.

Lady in Red: It's still red, orange in it!

Lena Lednicka: Watch my new video where I'm talking about my #purplehair  journey!

Jaqlinny: if you wanted a purple hair you should just dye blue,it works for me.
