Mascara For Red Hair? Trying Redhead Revolution Gingerlash Mascara (Review)

What'S up guys today, i have another redhead themed video for you today, because i was on instagram and i came across this makeup brand for redheads and it's called redhead revolution when i clicked over to redhead revolution's website. I really liked that their slogan was makeup. For the two percent and if you didn't know redheads make up about two percent of the world's population, i feel, like that's, been a percentage. That'S been around for a pretty long time. So i'm not sure if that's still true, if it's still two percent, but you get the point. I first clicked on it being like. Oh, what's this gon na, be it's just like another makeup company with just the same makeup, but they just slapped the word redhead on it. But what really caught my attention were these and these are their ginger, lash, mascara and there's two different shades: there's genuine ginger and then there's honest auburn. As i mentioned before, i tend to use brown or dark brown mascaras instead of black, just because i feel like black, tends to look super harsh on my lashes and that's actually something that my mom tried to teach me when i was younger. But i was like no black mascara. Why would i do brown, but it's something that i've embraced more as i've gotten older and i feel like it's just totally softened up my makeup. Look it's especially nice! If i just want to wear mascara and be done with it, but i decided to purchase these because i was thinking you know, i'm really into a more natural look and if i can get mascara that's made specifically for redheads, then that might be something i have Not tried these out, i just got them, so i'm just gon na try them on camera for the first time. One of these is more of like a light. Lighter brown, with a touch of red and this one's more of like a darker brown with a little bit more red to it again, honest auburn and genuine ginger, i'm kind of curious to see what these will look like on my lashes, so i'm gon na do One side with genuine ginger and then i'm gon na do the other side with honest auburn and then we'll decide which one looks better all right. So i'm zoomed in nice and close now, hello. I'Ve mentioned this before, but i have pretty transparent eyelashes and i think that's pretty common amongst the redheads of the world, the two percent of us um, but they're just super blonde. You can't see them so right now. I just have my basic makeup. Look. I have a little bronzer as my eyeshadow and then i did a little powder eyeliner, just to define my eyes a little bit more, i'm going to start off with this bad boy here this is the genuine ginger, and this is the lighter of the two shades. I contemplated only getting the darker one, but i decided you know what, if i'm gon na place this order, i'm gon na get both. So this has like a pretty standard, mascara spoolie, it's kind of fluffy lots of bristles wow. It has kind of a dry texture to it, which i think is helping me get a little bit more of a fluffy. Look to my lashes. This is almost how my lashes look whenever i tint them. Maybe a little lighter it's giving a very natural look. Mascara! No mascara, i'm gon na, do my lower lash line. All right, no mascara looks like i have no eyelashes to mascara and like very natural, at that, a little closer and now for this guy. Here again, this is honest: auburn, okay, so right away. Definitely darker! It is just like a very dry formula, and it's just something i'm not quite used to. I don't hate the formula i'm just not quite used to it, just because it feels so dry, but not in like a bad way. It'S like more like it seems like an intentional dry alright, so i did a few coats and you can see a little more natural, a little darker, a little more defined. What do you guys think? I think it's just kind of about my mood. You know if i'm just you know going in to the office chill day, maybe lounging at home, but i want to look a little bit more put together. I'D do this genuine ginger and then, if i'm going somewhere, where i want to look a little bit more made up and defined, i do this on a strawberry, a little more defined a little more natural but still defined. What do you think i'm kind of into it? So there you have it mascara for redheads. So i think these mascaras are a win for me again. The texture of it is like kind of like something i've never tried before. It feels a little bit more dry, but i feel like it makes my lashes look a little bit more fluffy um. They don't clump together, it's not as liquidy, i think, which makes them kind of clump together, i'm kind of curious to see what some other products this brand has to offer. So these mascaras on their own are 22. or you can buy a set of them, which is 32, so it's 10 more to just get both, which is why i ended up getting both of them. So i'm pretty excited to have discovered these products.
