Oh, the gray, hair video, the gray hair video. She has been highly requested by you and today we're finally going to do it yeah. This is one of my favorite topics. It can be a massive challenge when your Grays start coming in, and I think the first instinct we have is to hide it. Those whites are making me look older, you start by plucking them out. I know you do don't even lie. Plucking phase quickly turns to 20, then 50, then 75 and then you're all white baby, you're all white, I'm not opposed to dyeing them. My grandma dyed her hair every four weeks until she was like 85 or something it just made her feel better. But here's the thing, the more gray you are, the more you see that regrowth line and the faster you see it. So you go to the salon. You spend a fortune three weeks later there. It is again and then you do it again and again and again and again and again and again, it's not only time consuming, but it's also really expensive. So some people turn to box dye no judgment here. But then what can happen is it can lead to inchiness dryness and even a lack of multi-tonal quality. The hair can become a little bit flat in color. The struggle is real, honestly in the last few years, going ashy like mushroom Brown, which was a huge Trend going platinum and even silver became massively trendy, and I love that. So many people have started to embrace their natural gray color because it's kind of the perfect way to get out of that cycle of dying bleaching and then just endlessly fighting against aging. The biggest piece of advice that I have for you. If you're, looking at transitioning out of coloring, your hair is to start by ashing out your hair mistake, number one is having a warm hair. Color contrasting with your gray hair. Warm toned Browns like Chestnut and even warm toned blondes like honey, are a massive contrast to gray because they are tonally opposite. There are warm colors and there are cool. Colors and gray is cool. So if you put it beside something warm, it looks really bad. So if your hair is a warm milk, chocolate brown, for example, and then your Grays come in, there will be a huge contrast, and that is all your eye will focus on. So a great option for you is to start transitioning your hair into a color like mushroom Brown and even mixing Ash Gray highlights with deep Brown ashy low lights. Essentially, what you need to do is have some gray blending going on and the way that you do, that is by mixing various dark and light ashy Shades to blend the natural gray out. I could literally do an entire 10 minute video about this. So if you want more advice on going gray with your color leave it in the comment section below and I'll give you some tips and tricks on that today. I want to focus on taking care of gray hair so that it looks amazing. I have seen clients with gray hair, where it's very dry, wiry, yellowed out and even frizzy, and then I have clients where it's absolutely stunning today, my friend Christina, is in the studio. Christina'S hair is Virgin Hair. She has never colored it and I don't even know what to say about it: who's girl, crushing on Christina right now, and why is Christina, not famous? Why is Christina not famous, honestly being that beautiful should be a crime? So this is what you look like. Oh natural, in our before shot still freaking beautiful. As always, I did her makeup off camera and then I worked on transforming that gorgeous head of hair, a gray hair mistake. Number two is not incorporating a purple shampoo into your hair care. Routine gray. Hair can get a yellow tinge to it very quickly and that's because the hair itself contains little to no pigment, so it can pick up pigments in the actual environment. If your shampoo has a yellow tinge to it, that could do it and even Sunshine can do it so wearing a hat when it's very bright outside is a great idea. It will really really minimize the yellowing of the hair. If you wear a hat, though, and the hair still does yellow, you can easily tone it from home. With this strong purple. Shampoo purple is the opposite: color on the color wheel to Yellow, so it will neutralize it and turn it back to Silver. If you're doing this from home, you can even get out of the shower and leave that purple shampoo on for like 20 minutes. If you really want a powerful result, you do not want to use purple shampoo too often, though, because if there is nothing to neutralize, your hair can actually take on a bit of a lilac tone. It can also tend to be a little bit dehydrating. Purple shampoo. Can dry out the hair, and that brings me to mistake number three mistake: number three is not properly hydrating your hair gray hair has a different texture because it's lost a lot of pigment or melanin, and the hair follicle doesn't produce as much oil oil Works to Hydrate, the hair: that's why gray hair often can feel coarse, dry and even wiry, but products can help substantially to offset this problem. The most beautiful and hydrating shampoo and condition that I've ever used is by a brand that I never even heard of before. They are called Goldilocks, they sent me their products and I tested it and I instantly fell in love. I even talked about it in this completely non-sponsored other video. They are super hydrating, but also super light. It'S very bizarre actually, because normally hydrating products can lead to weight and heaviness in the hair, and this just doesn't. This really really feels like luxury hair care, and it is so. You want to use your purple shampoo once or twice a week and then the rest of the week. You need to use a really hydrating shampoo and conditioner, like the Goldilocks Ultra hydrating signature, shampoo and conditioner set mistake. Number four is skipping out on treatment. Masks. How many people, in the comments section, do a treatment mask once a week? I am using the Goldilocks Ultra hydrating signature hair mask on Christina, and that is because it is super rich in vitamins, proteins, fatty acids and antioxidants. So it repairs, restores and really softens dry hair. Another tip I have for you here is to put your treatment mask under Heat. This will open the cuticle layer up and we'll get the conditioner Down Deeper. It makes it work a lot better. Obviously, you guys don't have a hooded dryer at home, but you can purchase these microwavable heat caps that are also awesome. I use those on myself all the time I'm going to leave a link to all of the products in the description box below, as I always do in case, you want to go check it out. Mistake. Number five is destroying your hair with heat gray. Hair can actually be quite fragile, so you want to use the proper prep products and go easy on the heat styling. To add that extra hydration back into Christina's hair, I started with the Goldilocks leave-in conditioner, because it strengthens the hair, fights frizz and enhances shine, and then I followed It Up With The Star product here, which is the signature serum. This gives really deep, hydration and nourishment, but it also protects from breakage and from UV damage, which is awesome. This stuff is seriously so good. It provides humidity, resistance, adds shine and just makes your hair look really soft and really really nice. Alright. So, instead of blowing her hair out and waving it like, I normally do, I decided to use my Dyson air wrap on her. This is one step instead of two I'm waving and drying at the same time. So this is a very interesting hot tool and a few years ago I made a whole video about it going over every attachment and what it does. I will leave that video in the pinned comment in case you guys are interested in watching it. I do have mixed feelings about the Dyson air wrap. Christine Tina also has the Dyson air wrap and she has some mixed feelings about it because it doesn't hold the curl very well if you're interested in a whole review and updated review on that. Let me know again in the comments and I'll totally do it for you the best thing about it, though other than the fact that it's very unique is that you are significantly minimizing your heat damage with this tool. It has very controlled heat, it works well, and the technology really ensures that you are not frying your hair. Is it the perfect hot tool? I don't think so. Is it a little overrated? I think so, but is it a unique and impressive hot tool? Also, yes, mistake: number six that I often see made is not adding any type of supplement to your hair care routine. Your hair really is a reflection of what is going on internally and as women age over 50 percent notice that their hair is thinning. Goldilocks has an awesome supplement for this. There are some amazing reviews about it. I'Ve been using it personally every day for a month, and I've already noticed more energy. My nails are much stronger, they're growing a lot faster. My skin is really glowing. My hair looks great and really the results with these things just get better and better over time. So, if I'm seeing results in one month, I'm gon na have like significantly better results in three to six months. If you are having any issues with hair loss, brittleness or you feel, like your skin, looks sallow take a look at this supplement because I really feel like this could help. Oftentimes supplementation is like The Missing Link when you're going through Beauty issues and it's something very simple to try just to see. If you end up getting results, and I mean most of the time you do and there you have it her hair is bright. It'S super shiny, it's soft, yet voluminous! It'S everything that you could want really, if you want to learn more about the Dyson, go ahead and check out this video next I'll catch you guys next week, bye

Glam Girl Gabi: Please give me a THUMBS UP on this video and help me grow! This is the section where you can leave me any questions or concerns that you have about your hair and I can help! Commenting is the best way to communicate with me. If you like this video, you may enjoy watching this one next: Haircuts That Make You Look Younger https://youtu.be/QkhyXP9E5v8

Joelle Bard: More on transitioning PLEASE!!! I am 54 years young, have had grey hair since my early 20s, and have been coloring my hair ever since. I am probably 80% grey and I really would like to start transitioning to not coloring my hair. I have very curly hair down to my shoulders. I used to pay $100 every 3 weeks to color my hair and switched over to coloring at home to save some money, but I really do feel like my hair has dried out ever since. I think I would like to start transitioning to grey because I'm tired of the coloring process. P.S. You are the best hair Youtuber out there and you are cute as a button!! Love what you do!

Merry Walsh: Lockdown was the perfect time to transition for me. I knew my hair was white, but I did not know it was 99% white! I love the color, or rather, the lack of color. The root battle is a thing of the past. My hair is the same texture it has always been, which is soft, but now it has more shine. For the first time in my life, I get compliments on my hair. If you are thinking of growing yours out, I say go for it. Gabi just gave the best strategy for the grow out here!

Turra Gorman: Hello Gabi! Thanks so much for posting about grey hair. I have very few at 63 years old but I love woman who allow the grey to become part of their signature. I embrace the aging process and figure, why fight it just be the best version of you that you can be. Your channel has helped me with the thinning hair issue. My hair is growing beautifully and you were right, the blunt cut for thin, straight hair is the answer. Going to share your channel with my friends. Keep up the great content.

Michelle Mistelske: Great video and channel! and here’s my “yes” vote to more gray hair content.

Karin Carr: Girl, I LOVE this one!!! Going grey was so scary but now that I'm on the other side I get stopped by total strangers who tell me how much they love my hair. I'm so glad I didn't cave in during the awkward skunk stripe phase.

margot fernandez: I’m having an easy transition. I highlighted honey blond for years. Then transitioned to ash/icy blonde over a 3 year period, but with these kind of highlights, comes damage. I decided to stop highlighting because of the damage. Best decision I’ve ever made! It’s coming in darker and salt and pepper, and it’s silver underneath. But I’ve been able to grow it halfway down my back! It can be tricky to wash two different heads of hair (I’m about half way. Natural color to just below the chin.) The bottom half is still the bleached part and requires TLC and purple conditioner. For styling, I blow dry on low heat, then sleep with a sock on my head for heatless curls aka as robe belt curls. Mother Nature really is the best colorist!

Gabby Sims: Yes, more Grey content, please! My Mama is fully Grey, and it looks amazing on her! She has very thick/coarse/curly hair, and I've been cutting it for awhile now, but I want to enhance it and help her to take better care of it. Thanks for this, and all you do!

Jackie Rockers: I started graying in high school so I started coloring it then and now at age 67 I still color it. At one point I changed my dark hair to a medium red blonde. Now I am seriously considering doing a blue gray to start going to gray with blending. Working up the courage to do just that. I have a 50 year high school reunion in 2023 and I want to look amazing

Kathy O: Nature gives you the color you should have. I'm 54 and stopped coloring three years ago. Best thing I ever did. My hair has never been this amazing, and I've never gotten so many compliments. I've been every color from black to platinum. Best thing ever. I went cold turkey and it's not as bad as one might think.

W.R. Carman: Yes, please give us more tips on gray blending and "ashing out." Thanks for making this video.

Jodi C: I’d love to see tips on natural blondes going grey. I’ve always highlighted my hair but my ”grays” are coming in more salt and pepper so it’s actually darker. At first my stylist was trying to match my whites but I’m feeling over processed and my hair is getting dry. There’s not much out there on blondes transitioning over. Would love to hear your input. Thanks!

Rented Fashion: Yes more gray hair content please!!!

Notperfecttonya: Love this video!! Yes on transitioning! So helpful to discuss and learn about gray hair. I’m especially silly concerned about the hydration piece. My gray seems to have a really hard time not fuzzing out. Even with heat. If you know what I should do, I’m all ears!

Jennifer Hope Tinker: Please more transition videos! I have been working on growing out since March but made a huge error in getting highlights in June (super dark brown is my natural) and after a ton of money to do that and then to “correct” it (2x), I have had to cut off a lot of length and it just looks horrible. I baby my hair now to try to heal it. Luckily the salon didn’t touch my gray grow out at all but I look like a calico cat. Thank you for the awesome videos!

Team Ginger: I love this! I would also LOVE to see more about transitioning to gray....this is the best advice I've heard yet & would love to hear more! I began to grow out the gray & it isn't going well (warm brown hair). I'd also like to know how to do this, when I my skin tone really does look better with warm colors. Thanks for sharing the info!

Trudy Hammond: I started greying in my 30’s. It came in initially at the front and grew out as a streak. I loved it. I have never dyed it. It is white now and I still love it.

Paula Thornton: My hair had grown out for a year and had salt and pepper with some pieces in front that were pretty silver/white. I went to a hairdresser to have her blend the grey with more silver/white. After she tried two times bleaching highlights, it ended up yellow. I’ve gone to a new stylist who corrected the highlights (more bleach) and I’ve already seen some breakage in the front. What should I do to nurse my salt and pepper back to health? I’m 71 and have fine, thin hair…I feel so defeated, Gabi. Thanks for listening!

Ric Calendar: Great video Ms. Gabi, and your friend is indeed a beauty!! I have been gray since age 51 (medical issue required no more color) and am now 70. Fortunately I love my grey hair and went from bleached cool tone blonde with darker rooted color to a dark grey color with lighter halo. I skipped the transition, couldn't deal with it as a hairdresser, and cut it into a very short spiked hairstyle that took it down to the area of natural growth and I wore that style for years. It has lightened considerable over the years, is now multi-tonal grey and light silver with light silver halo and is shoulder length at this time. I am really enjoying it and embracing my natural waves/curl pattern. It is much more fragile however and has thinned with age. Would love to see some videos addressing this. TY Gabi for excellently executed videos with wonderful content. Roberta

Kat Kat: Gray is beautiful! I didn't like it when I was in my 30's but at around 46 I went natural (as I started to love the color). My gray looks like I got highlights but it is all natural. I just cut my hair short and the transition didn't take long. it's been about 4-5 years since I went natural. I do use a purple shampoo.

christine seda: Love this!!! I''m not very gray yet but I know it's something I need to think about and have been doing research to develop a plan of action for when I'm ready to transition and embrace natural gray!... This video is PERFECT!!!

PT: I'm letting my hair go grey, love the transition. No more a slave to color every two weeks.

Yeti’s Place: I decided to let my natural gray grow out, after I watched Khalesi, Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. Her hair sometimes looks white/gray. Loved her, so I thought why not let my hair go. I had been very dark and found my first gray when I was 19. I let it go, then pixie cut it. Now, I get more compliments on my gray/white natural color than I ever did when it was colored.

Deb Scott: Went with my natural gray hair and LOVE it! It’s silver and compliments are routine. The challenge is helping clients transition.

Music Lover: More transition vids pretty please! My natural color is medium brown with golden undertones. I used to dye and highlight for fun so growing the gray out was not hard, because I am maybe 40% gray and it blended well enough. BUT..it wasn’t enough contrast with my natural medium brown so just looked blah. Tried to embrace but I didn’t feel striking like your friend! I am retired and can’t spend coin for professional color so reintroduced DIY low lights and highlights. Even though I use an ashy brown and ashy blonde and purple shampoo, conditioner, the natural gold peeks through. I don’t mind the gold tones mixed with low lights and the gray. Far better than blah! My hairdresser compliments me on how I avoid a streaky look. I use a cap. I know it can cause breakage but my hair is a chin length bob so breakage hasn’t been a problem. As more grays take over, I will reduce the amount of highlights, but probably keep doing lowlights for dimension.

pudgie011: I'm 58 and have let my hair go grey for 3 years already and I love it. I get more compliments on my hair now then when I was coloring it. When I transition to grey I had blond highlights done and light color because my natural hair is black and it helped the transition much better. I use purple shampoo hair biology and conditioner and for the yellow tint my hair is very soft and manageable love it.

katrina perez: Thank you so much for this video! I haven’t highlighted my hair for over a year and I am going silver. It is coming in all over but it looks like someone had added silver glitter strands to my hair! I asked my kids if I should dye it and they all said No! Leave it alone!

choirgrrrl: I have been very gradually going gray since my mid-twenties. It’s never bothered me, and beyond occasionally using a temporary hair color just for funsies, I’ve never dyed my hair. Now at the age of 62 I have chestnut and platinum streaked hair that is apparently very trendy. I can’t tell you how many random people stop me and tell me they love my hair. The idea of messing with dyeing it, not to mention the expense, has no appeal to me.

Jess S: I needed this! I've been transitioning to gray and had some negative comments from an older man a few days ago (he has white hair btw!). I am loving putting blue oVertone on my brassy ends. Love all your tips! They are very helpful

Vickster: I started using black castor seed oll shampoo for strengthening my hair and after a month I see a huge difference in hair fall and breakage. It also smells really good. I take two hair supplements too and use a rosemary/mint shampoo and a homemade rosemary and clove spray. I will add the purple shampoo now though after my hair has had some recovery time. My hair's texture is certainly different but it is by no means dry. It still can feel oily especially at the scalp after a couple of days.

Love: She is stunning and her hair color is GORGEOUS! Thank you for sharing your tips for us grey-haired girls!

Maria Pawlicka: Hi Gabi, as always the best advice for some of us! I'm over 60 and now started to go gray at the front. Not so much. For about 7 years I use self dying hear color Herbatint Blond. Should or can I use the purple shampoo so my roots will be nice? I still have the color on most of the length of my hair. Please teach us

Lise Mija: Agreed! Pls give us more on transitioning to grey! Thanks for all your videos. Love it.

Anastasia: Too much opposition to my going grey. I’m so tired of it all. Loved your advise!

Susan Zimnick: When I dyed my hair, even though I used an ashy color, it always turned orange even though I went to top colorists. That’s one of the many reasons I stopped coloring my hair. So there was really no way to permanently tone down my fake hair color. Fortunately, it eventually grew out.

Dale: I went to blonde (professionally done) so that the gray wasn’t as obvious. My usually healthy hair began to feel dry, so I quit that. The blonde made the grow out much easier. I’ve been told that I look older, but m not going back. It’s stressful and expensive and time-consuming. Yes, use purple shampoo and conditioner. I only recently heard about the oil (from a new hairdresser). I’ve also stopped fighting my waves, which means less heat. I’m looking for a non-diffuser technique so I entirely do away with the heat. Thanks for all of the tips.

Minna Uyeda: I’m 57 and I only need to cover my roots around my hair line and part line every six to eight weeks. My plan is to let the gray hair behind the ears from top of my hair down fill in thicker, because I don’t want the strong gray only in front and brunette in back. It’s working, when I run my fingers through the back I see those sparkles coming through. The hope by 60 I’ll be able to get the gray blending in the front and avoid awkward color blocks with my brunette hair.

Dome Family: Maybe you could do a video transition to grey with someone who has thinner, finer hair. I think grey looks amazing on women like your friend who has lots of hair to support the look, but a lot of us getting older thin out feel like we can’t support the look.

Mina B.: Hi, I really love your videos. You are my most favorite hair stylist on youtube. I learn so so much. Can you please do a video on how to transition from dark hair(dyed) to grey hair so it won't look so odd? Thank you xx

Breaking Free Off Grid: Awesome video as usual Gabi! I wish I had more gray like Christina! She’s gorgeous!

Kimberly Bankston-Lee: Yes, please make more videos for us young at heart, but older on the charts! Lol! I am Black/African American and would love to see you do a video on a client like me. I like you, have fine, thinning hair, but very curly. At 59, I had been able to evade grays, but they’re coming in quickly now! I liken going gray to getting your period. Some of us get it early and others are late bloomers, but we all eventually get it! I really like your videos and have been following you for awhile, so thank you!

Dreamcatcher: I’m 62 & color my hair. I make a conscious decision to do so. I truly feel beautiful ridding my gray. I’m not ready to be “old looking “. Make no mistake.. you do get treated old if you have gray hair. I don’t agree with that but those are facts.

Leanna: More vids on grey hair coverage and transitioning please ❤❤❤

Lisa Wawrzynski: I started growing out my "silver" in 2018 and it took a solid 2 years. During that time I began to wear wigs since the growing-out phase had some pretty unattractive moments. I definitely recommend wearing wigs during this time, it's fun and you get to wear colors and styles you might be able to have with your own hair (I bought synthetic wigs). The worst thing I did was applying a non-peroxide no ammonia color; it really took to my silver hair and didn't completely fade away, so that was a setback to growing out my hair. I really love how my silver hair looks and I get so many compliments!

Betsy Sanders: I recently lost all of my hair & the hair had to grow back in…all grey. It was halfway before I could dye it. My hairdresser & I thought it might be the time to go grey but my natural grey washed me out & made me look really sick. I wish I’d have known about this before I dyed it all.

Firdos Vohra: Please make more videos about blending grey color in. I've been covering up my greys all these years and so want to transition out of that.

A.M.: Thoughts on Go Grey? I started using it.. it lifted dark brown coloring I'd been doing and brought it back to my natural color off coppery brown. And I'm letting my grey come in

Genevieve Hodgins Laity: Oh definitely please do a transitioning video, I'm planning to see a stylist in November before Christmas, first time since covid began my last appt was cancelled March 2020, and I want to be able to transition to less dye and more grey. I've been using box dyes here and there and don't like what it's doing to my hair, I need your help!!!! Love your videos!!!!

Laurel Will: I dye my hair at home and need help going grey. I have lots of white and silver in the front but dark “cast iron” grey predominately in the back. Also my hair is about 2” past my shoulder and I don’t want to go short if possible. I’d appreciate hearing your advice.

Linda: What an excellent video. You have very practical tips in this video and your friend's hair looks amazing. Such an inspirational video. Would definitely love more on this topic of silvers' coming through and how to enhance them! Thank you so much.

Melissa Castillo: I am 18 months into being dyefree. That doesn’t mean I don’t value the visit to a hairstylist. My challenge is finding a hairstylist that knows how to style my hair. My hair is dry, frizzy and the hairline host curves at the temples which meet the widows peak. I used clip in hair extensions that were dark rooted with grey ends in the beginning. I now use grey extensions until my natural hair reaches the desired length. How does someone find the right stylist? I am in the Dallas area. I just want my hair healthy and maintained.

twice blest: I use Kerastase masks and take several supplements since my 40s. I have been into organics since my 30s and my mom taught me to take care of my skin in my 20s but we didn’t have the great products (or internet) back then. I also recommend a rice shampoo like Viori but know that there is an adjustment period, especially if you use shampoos with sulfates. My grey hair is dark and light steel with white and never took color well. I’m sensitive to sulfates and gave those shampoos up in my 40s because my hair was breaking so badly. I started going grey at 26 with a skunk stripe down the back of my head and colored for many years. Finally, gave up. Hair is long (down to my bra strap), curly, soft, strong, and dries quickly which I’m told means it’s in great condition by my hair dresser. Curly hair usually takes longer to dry. People compliment my hair and my skin. Take care of your bodies, ladies! When you get to your 60s, everything changes no matter what you do!

miss kitty: But if your skin tone is warm & your eyes are warm then the grey just doesn't blend! In my case it made my skin looked washed out & yellowish and vas extremely unflattering. It is easier to go grey but it looks so awful on me. On the other hand, someone with cool or neutral skin & blue eyes look like a silver blonde or Sweedish blonde & it is gorgeous!! Is there a way to make it look better for warm fair skin? I love my warm color makeup and clothing but it looks awful with grey hair! Any ideas??

LD: Quit coloring years ago. Love it and would never go back. Took 2 years to grow out and I won’t lie, it’s hard but so worth it.

Sandy Robinson: Another video on grey hair would be wonderful and I have never put on a treatment mask. Love this video ❤️

Woman of a Certain Age: I went cold turkey and actually, it looked very cook when it was ombre and awesome. Also never used a purple shampoo and I get compliments on my natural platinum hair color. I guess I just lucked out that mine never turned yellow -- at least not yet. I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week and never heat style it daily, maybe that helps?

Angela D Mager: Yes, tells us more about transitioning to grey!

Carol V: Yes please do a video on transitioning color please! I’m 37 years young but I’m just tired of having to do it every 2 weeks! I can’t.

Little Pink Casa: More videos on those of us going grey but still coloring and how to transition or best ways to color dark hair to hide grey? Also, other products that work and how to style the transitional hair roots that are dry, course and like wire. Thank you for this video!

Elle Kay: I am a natural level 6 and have been highlighting and coloring roots for years. I tend to pull brassy or yellow (warm), so I use purple shampoo and toners. I might like to go grey. How would I transition?

Judy Perez: Hi GABI thanks for the advise I’m surprised my hair stylist didn’t mention that to us or else we would of known what to do to treat our hair and not damage it so much ☺️

Melissa D: Hey Gabi--I'm almost 55 and about 50-60% grey. And it's not getting any more grey, which I am super frustrated with. It's been this way for years. What is with this stopping in the middle of the change?? Go big or go home!! Grr. So anyway... it looks like it COULD be cool (got some thin white money pieces in my bob) but nothing else. What should I do...wait patiently? Or add more grey and hope the rest of the hair gets the hint?

Mela Roper: This was great Gabi! thank you. OK, so about leave in conditioner: I usually apply it right after the shower and the I wrap my hair in my microfibre turban for 20 minutes 9I have thin grey hair), after that I apply a bit o f serum and styler. Is this good ? or should i wait to apply the leave in after 20 minutes? I absolutely LOVE the goldilocks leave in , by the way

Gaye Blinman: I enjoyed your presentation I would love to see more on Grey Hair Colouring Tips & Styles - for Short Hair Styles !

Amanda Gareis: Love your videos! I use a hair mask (no conditioner) everytime I wash my hair (which is every other day). I have long virgin hair (never coloured, no heat styling), so a hair mask everytime can get a bit much and lead to flat hair (no volume). I have to change it up with just using a conditioner And I used your tips and shampoo twice after the hair mask which gives my hair lightness and volume So thanks for the advice, Gabi!

Gabrielle Angelica: Thank you...professionals usually push hair dye. All this time I'm trying to go platinum and it's naturally on my roots!

Marleen Scholte: Thank you Gaby, I'm a 57 live in Europe, natural all over grey since 5 years, thin and thinning hair, so I love you're video's, I have a question: do you have an European sold hair shampoo /conditioner for grey thin thinning hair, maybe a little bit cheaper ?

The Sage Energy Healer: More videos please. I am 46 and quit dying my hair 5 years ago. I do all of the things you mention above but I feel like my hair looks very dull. I don't want to dye it I wish it were more gray actually.

Karla James: I would love to see a video on growing out grey hair gracefully!!

Amanda Witherspoon: I was born a dark brunette. My health made me get to the point that I couldn't color my hair anymore. I have completely grown out my gray. My problem is, I have brown at my roots but they turn silver at the top. On my sides, my hair has some brown and a lot of gray. I have random silver streaks of silver in them. People have told me that I shouldn't get the same person to do my highlights. I told them that it's doing that all on it's own but they don't believe me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bumble Bee: Thank you for video. I looked at some of the things you recommended, and the Goldie Locks is far too expensive for me sorry. I am on a pension, so I tend grab the cheapest things. I used to colour my hair blonde to cover the grey and it works but am getting to the stage of 'couldn't be bothered colouring my hair anymore', plus I like the grey look so I am now letting the grey take over and it's looking good. I will look for a more affordable hydrating shampoo and conditioner maybe with a touch of purple colour. I only wash my hair twice a week. I do use serum and oil on my hair because as you said grey hair is very coarse and oils etc seem to combat this. Debbie from New Zealand.

Ellen Ruth Soap: Yes, yes❣ More tips on grey hair...

diana simms: I transitioned with ashy blonde highlights Used blue shampoo and blue drops Mixed in Aragon oil with the blue drops for mosture

Sherry Gadberry Turner: My hair is taking too long! It started with a strand here and there when I was in my forties. I’m 60 now and when it’s down it’s dark with a little salt sprinkled in. When it’s up, the sides are silver.

Antonina Laeremans: Hello Gaby. I’ve a question,,,, I have a olive brown skin, my skin has a cool tone . My hair is normally dark brown almost black but for years now, i’ve dyeing my hair always in a medium brown hair color. My roots grow out now and it’s for allmost 40% silvery white. I don’t know what to do, because I think it would age me terribly when I go for all white hair . What should I do best? Friendly greetings from Belgium.

Sereta Mage: This video is insane!! Definitely more of this!!

Yvonne Reza: Hi Gabi you have the best personality, I love all your videos! Thank you for your expert advise!! Can you name other gray hair inexpensive products that you like for us. Thank you

Tres Boujay: I have never plucked a hair out of my head that’s crazy talk! I did dye but gave it up and embraced the silver. I also deep condition with every wash. The steam treatments are amazing!

Tbird: Yes, more grey hair content

Julie Trucks: I have gray hair. Oily scalp and dry ends. I also have fine thin hair. I’m having the hardest time getting volume plus hydration for ends. Any suggestions

Danielle Allison: I do boxed dye and BECAUSE of my grey hair underneath it has a lot of dimension. I dye my hair red and some strands are lighter while some are darker depending what colour is underneath.

Colleen Joudrey: I don't have greys quite yet but I do love the look of natural grey and white hair. It looks so good when cared for.

Glow: Lovely video I love her gray blends in so well. I'm 90% gray( roots) start getting grays when I was 30 I'm now 48 been coloring my hair black ever since. My natural is black. I would love to transition looking just like this beautiful lady. I'm tired of coloring my hair (box color) please advise what can I do?

siok bee phua: I would love to know more about transiting from ….. to grey

Flamingofan: Love love love grey hair!!! Mine won’t come in fast enough!

Kathleen B: So glad to see this covered. I started getting grays my teens, and by my early 30s was completely gray. I am now 59 and it is silver white and down to my tailbone. It certainly is a learning curve to deal with, and my hair care continually evolves. It’s very different treatment than pigmented hair. These days my hair is super shiny and soft and quite happy, but it took a lot of trial and error to get here. I love your tips, and your friend is gorgeous. ❤

Carrie Thompson: 2:48 HAIR GOALS!!!!! You're so pretty! You're skin is pretty, hair, hands, nails, etc.. you're just a gorgeous person lol.. Christina is GORGEOUS also! I can't believe how beautiful her natural hair is! It looks like highlights.. I love gray hair.. I always said I'd be one of those ladies with pretty, long, grey hair and I would own it! I had grown up seeing woman who did grey the right way & I LOVED it! I'm just now really starting to get greys at 37. My family all went grey in their 20s!!!! Not me... the 1 person who LIKED it lmao! I'm just getting some thin greys above my ears, in that area. Hard to see still. I'm excited about it & this makes me more excited. Great job, I just subbed

Megan6772: If I bleach my hair (including greys), do I still need to use a Neutral dye over it? I'm trying to bleach my dark hair and then dye it Auburn, but the demi permanent colors do not have a Neutral , will it cover the grey? I don't want bright pink highlights. Hope this makes sense

Mark Cuckerberg: Thank you. Needed this. I bought a rose gold 7RG natural instincts which will clash with my silvers coming out. Returning it ❤

Gabrielle Angelica: More on grey hair, please! What can the salon do to help out?

Christine Stefanovski: Hi.. Im a true red haired in my 60s..I do love my hair but yes it's getting thinner and the greys are getting a lot more.. She looks amazing..I couldn't imagine her hair any other colour..Love your channel.. Stay well always.. Australia

Wyrdwitch: Another vote for grey content please-especially suggestions on all the many options for covering the grey with temporary, semi, demi & permanent options both for home use and at salon. this is NOT a subject well covered-especially the semi and demi options for transitional phase. Most info out there is either "get permanent at a salon" or "go cold turkey and eschew all dyes"-many of us are in between as we are not yet grey enough to completely grow it out but grey enough that coloring is desired for a while longer. Also home options are super important because many people are on tight budgets these days. This gives you lots of ideas for popular video themes. Just found you today-love this video, thanks so much!

Tina Marie: Great and much needed video. Christina has beautiful hair. I’m 55 with some grey hair coming in. I, too, have virgin hair. Wanted to share lol.

Angela: For anyone who wants one of the best conditions for gray hair I recommend Aveda purple conditioning, I've been using it for years and it's amazing, but give it a try and see what amazing results you get.

SleeplessinOC: You are right , it should be against the law to be that beautiful wow my jaws dropped upon seeing her thumbnail !!

Vivian Feliciano: Thank you ! I just ordered the Goldie locks hair product bundle . I’ll give my feed back once I use it for a month

Melanie Courtois: Great video - and she has gorgeous silver hair!! I would love if you could give a few products/brand options :) I transitioned to grey 3 years ago and had a few ash tones highlights around my face and it helped a lot.

Analy S: I did it 100 percent natural, it took me three years, I never cut it off, and it’s still have it long. Tone it rather than a purple shampoo, I’m not saying don’t use it, it will dry your hair. I have curly hair, best of both world, and the grey and silver looks fantastic either blowed dry or curly. Mask once a week is essential, leave in conditioner a must. I love serum I use Aragón oil, love it, a little goes a long way. Ladies the beginning of this process, sucks, but we’ll worth it. Three years later I wish I would of done this years ago! Supplements are always good to add.

Sarah Lydia: Yes, please do another review on the Dyson airwrap. I’ve been so close to buying it and it is SOOOOO expensive. I’m just not sure what the best hairdryer and hot tools are and all I ever here is “Dyson”.

Carmaela 26: I'm in a really weird spot where I have grey hairs really taking over, but all the other hair goes so warm, even with an ash color added to it. I think I have to go very blonde or do some sort of bleaching.
