BISOUS,

Love you all.....Tammy

Am back, this is my first video that i have been able to record in buffalo uh. I got here and bam got sick and i have been sick well, i was sick, solid for 10 days and i'm still not back to where i normally am i'm starting to exercise again and i'm still napping and there's one thing about me. My friends napping to me is a huge waste of time, even though they say how great it is for you. I always think i could find something better to do than that, but napping is good for you and i have been taking full advantage of it and it has just been a rough road. My sinuses are all messed up. My ears are messed up. I keep getting headaches anyway. That does not matter. I am back. I am here so many things that i have wanted to share with you. Dean davidson came out with a new stone, the aquamarine i'm wearing it today. It is absolutely gorgeous. I have all the rings on just so you could see the beautiful color just spectacular, and i feel so bad that it took me so long to get this stone out because it is just exceptional. This is the castle ring the signet and the plaza, and these are the stud earrings in the large. I also have them in the medium or they're small, i'm not sure, and the signature stud necklace, just beautiful it is the aquamarine. The gemstone of the summer is here named for its soothing ocean-like hue, and it really is gorgeous aquamarine sparkles, with the sublime energy of the sea. Its subtle translucent blue, goes hand in hand with warm days and wedding season, making aquamarine our gemstone of the summer, and this is the ab that it came with, and there is a picture of the plaza ring. So beautiful dean does allow us a discount of 25 percent off tammy 25 is the code if you are interested in the aqua marine. So for today's video outside of sharing the beautiful aquamarine from dean davidson, i wanted to talk about my hair. Yes, we are heading into seven months. I actually missed a month there, because i i actually did record the five and i just got sick. I couldn't edit it. I couldn't get it up in time. So now we're moving into seven months. So i'm just going to skip those two months and we are going to move into the seven months because i do have a different feeling about this whole thing. I truly do so uh first off i did visit kelly, and that is my hairdresser here in buffalo and we took away the gold. If you look at the demarcation is a little bit better. It'S still there, but it is a cooler toned blonde versus my usual golden tone, blondes, which uh at first there was a little bit more ashy silver to it, and i you know i knew it would fade off, but you know and kelly knew it would fade Off, but it was a shock to me so when she first did it the ends being porous because they are drier, they did pick up a little bit more of the pewter, so she had to go back in and add a little bit of gold to make Me happy, but it is now really just um well, this is the underneath hair, which is going to be a little bit darker, but this is the uh tone of my hair now, so, if you put it up next to the actual hair, you don't see as Much um of the line - i will say if you are on this journey with me or you are deciding to do it, and this is something that you would like. You have to really make sure that the person you go to understands the texture of your hair and color. It is very important because for one doing it this way can damage the hair terribly. If you are not in good hands, because they usually do a lot of highlighting and pull it way down, so that you don't have a huge, you know difference in your actual whites or whatever color your hair is there's not such a harsh grow out line so Make sure you are in really good hands and if a stylist tells you oh no, you don't want to do that, can't do it, it's probably because they don't know how to do it, and that is the only way they know how to tell you without saying I don't know how to do that so if they say something like that to you trust them so anyway, i trusted kelly. She did a great job and you can see there's a huge difference. The underneath hair is still a little bit darker through here. That'S pretty much what it used to be for me, and this is where she has taken it down so and of course, i'm going to continue to mask my hair. Today i used the um avocado kiwi mask, which has no protein now remember. I do have and i'll probably work on that video when i get back to florida, which we head back to florida, the end of july, so that will probably come in august sometime. But i have been collecting and researching and finding protein free hair masks, because it is not easy to do and i will do a video on the best ones for you so right now i will highly recommend the briochio avicado kiwi mask. I actually am going to do an empties video today, so i do have that in my empties. This mask is beautiful. It doesn't weigh the hair down it moisturizes the strands, so it it always looks healthy. It always looks healthy, so i will continue to treat my hair in the way that i always have masking is very important, and another thing is: we have to we're not really sure what the white hair is going to bring to us. It can white hair or silver hair or gray, hair salt and pepper hair, whatever it has a tendency to be a little unruly, sometimes a little more coarse. Now for me, i am noticing that the back part that is more salt and pepper, is becoming it's curlier. Much curlier than my um, normal color hair before it started to turn salt and pepper, and i turned white in the front before i really started to. I was almost 90 percent here where i was probably about 45 in the back, so your hair doesn't always grow out in the same amount. You may have more on one side. You may have more in the front more in the back. Usually the front part of the hair will be a little bit lighter than the back part. That'S my experience and looking around at women who have allowed their gray white normal hair color a lot of people don't like when you say normal because they say you weren't, born with white hair. But at this point in my life this is what's growing out of my hair and if i were to really you know, compare i was born with black hair and blue eyes. I'Ve mentioned this before my mother was in her glory, but as babies our eyes can we can be born with one thing and it changes quickly, and that is what happened. I pretty much grew up with mousy blondish brown hair. My whole life. It was actually lighter when i was younger and then with age. The mousy blonde became a mousy light brown and then right at around 20 i'd, say 26 years old. I started to see a lot of white gray hairs growing out in the front. So then i started highlighting my hair to have them blend and then, when it became too much, i started coloring the hair having a base color and then highlight - and i have done - i'm 60 i'll be 63 in november and i have been coloring my hair. Probably since i was about oh 15 years old, i was highlighting and then when i went to cosmetology school you know we played around there, so i was highlighting doing a little bit of coloring. So i've been doing this to my hair for a very long time, and i made the decision seven months ago to go ahead and do this now. A comment was left to me and a woman said that she has white salt and pepper hair, but she's. Just not ready for it, but she feels so pressured to let it go out because she thinks that's the thing to do. I need to say that i did not make this choice because it's a trend - or i felt pressured this - was something that i had tried to do two other times and let it go as far as six months, but i was just not ready. There was nothing about it that i was ready for so i colored my hair again, but then you know moving to florida, not having a stylist doing it myself and then realizing for some reason - and i do think it's the vitamin d and the sun. My hair grows much quicker in florida than it does up north. So i for me to look like i was a natural blonde. I would have colored had to have colored my hair. Probably once every two weeks now i have a very sensitive scalp to hair color. So i would have to prepare my scalp. It would itch it would even burn at times, so i would have to not use any brushes on my hair, my scalp. I would have to not wash it for a couple of days. I could not do anything that would irritate or stimulate my scalp in preparation for color, because if i did, if i would brush my hair in the morning you i swear, the color would hit all of the brush marks and i could feel that now i never Complained because it was just part of the process, because i was not ready to have my hair white, but i am here to tell you my friends: i love my white hair. I cannot see myself picking up a bottle of dye and coloring it ever again. I know that will disappoint some, but i also know that it is going to really make some of you giddy, because so many of you are on this journey. So many of you want to take this journey and you know there is something to be said. You have to have a confidence within yourself if you are someone that really allows the opinions of others to dictate what you do in your own life, this will not be for you now in my re, my private personal life, a lot of my friends. This was the first time them seeing me like this. Some of them watch my videos and others. Don'T so some didn't even know. I was doing this, but the compliments have been unbelievable and i don't have the kind of friends that are going to blow smoke up. My butt just because no that's not the kind of friends i have we're honest with each other, we never say anything mean or hurtful or hateful. We are honest and um. Really. I'Ve had one person in florida that has known me for the time that we have been living there. She said, i think it looks nice, but i like your yellow hair, better she's a little bit older, but that that's okay with me, she's entitled she was very kind in the way she said she said. I think it looks very very pretty, but i like your yellow hair here in buffalo. It has been amazing how well this has been received. I mean i to let me just put this out there. I don't care what anyone thinks. I don't care if my best friend dislikes it with a passion. I don't care if there are people out there watching watching me that absolutely despise this. I don't care because it is my head, so you know but everybody's entitled to their opinion. I don't feel you need to necessarily share your opinion with women that are going on this journey in a hateful way. You can simply do like the woman said to me. I think it looks very nice, but i prefer your red hair. I prefer your black hair. I prefer your green hair purple hair, whatever hair - and you know the comment has been made to me underneath my videos never in real life about uh how men will no longer be attracted to me and i've. I'Ve stated this in my a for a few other hair videos that i have done. I don't really care what other men think lou's, the only man i care about his opinion and he loves it. He has no problem with it at all and i don't know why he would because his goatee is white. Most of his hair is white. The back of his head is salt and pepper, so um he's wearing his hair. The way it's growing out of his head. Why can't i anyway uh so i went to my eyeglass place yesterday and as soon as i walked in, i had my hair pulled up in my little top knot that i normally do and as soon as i walked in the man behind the counter, he looked Up he goes hi how you been and then all of a sudden he looked and he went. Oh, my gosh. I love your hair, i love it, it looks fabulous, he just went on and on and on about it and it was pulled up in its top. Not like it normally is, and then, when i sat down with the gentleman that takes care of me because i i'm looking for, i ordered some new glasses and i wanted the crystal color. They. They look just like plexiglas they're clear because i just think they'll look really nice with the white hair, so i had a couple of frames setting down at me and he said i love it. He said i love when women age naturally, and he was a younger man, he's 40ish, but he loved it. He absolutely loved it. So, but again i don't care whether someone loves it or they don't love it. So that is the first step to taking your journey. You must have a confidence within yourself to not really worry about what other people think. Now, if your husband, your significant other your boyfriend, your girlfriend is not on board with gray hair growing out of your head. That is something that you have to work out with them. Lou has supported me and he really he's just tammy. It'S hair, it's hair and it's true. It'S just hair. It'S just another hair color! Okay, so you really do have to to be honest with you. If i weren't on youtube, i probably would not have anyone in my life that would pass anything negative onto me. They may talk about me in a group when i'm not around. I don't know what they're saying about me and it's none of my business. What they're saying about me - and i truly don't care what they are saying about me, but because i'm on youtube, that is where i have a tendency to get the negative comments and, to be honest with you, there really haven't been that many all right. So, let's get back to talking about the hair, so this is july, 23rd or 24th will be the seven month mark. My hair does grow fast, so keep in mind. Your journey may be very different from mine. Your grow out pattern is going to be very different and i'll say something about a grow out pattern. Now, when i first started this, i looked in the mirror more often and said: what are you doing tammy? What are you doing? This is ridiculous, but i had made a promise to myself. I was going six months and i was not going to look back until that six month mark because i really do think it's important that you give yourself enough time to see the pattern of growth, because this when it started to grow in you'll notice. It'S a little darker right here in the center for me when that first started going in, i was like. Oh, i don't like that. I don't like that, but the more this white and i have to say - and i hope this isn't taken in a conceited way. I think the white that is growing out of my head is spectacular. It'S beautiful and i just but i've always been drawn to white hair, the salt and pepper on me. If it had i've said this before - and this is to i don't mean this offensive to anyone again, why would you care what i think for my own personal preference? I don't think i would have been comfortable with this color all over the salt and pepper salt and pepper can be very beautiful if you have the right skin tone. For me, i need the brightness around my face, so the white is very important to balance off the middle section, which is going to be salt and pepper, but that is for my skin tone. If you are salt and pepper and it is gorgeous on you just say, zip, it crazy, miss tammy. Who cares what you think, because i'm not i'm not saying i'm not passing judgment on women that are walking around with salt and pepper hair? I'M saying for me this is my journey. I am only talking about my journey and my what i'm experiencing from other people, how i feel internally, can i project a pretty woman image having white hair? Can i project a youthfulness about myself? Does it necessarily mean when you allow your hair to look like this? Like some people have said to me, does it necessarily mean that you are no longer attractive? No, does it necessarily mean that you are no longer sexy? No, does it necessarily mean that no one else is going to ever be attracted to you? No, it doesn't mean any of those things and that's the beauty of human being, a human being. We are all attracted to something different. What one person finds beautiful the next will not, and some people are very much into the natural aging process. Male and female. Some are very attracted to keeping up with the more you know. There are all different types of people, so whoever you are, you can be a bombshell with white hair. Why not? You can also be a very classy woman with white hair. You can still be a tomboy. If that's what you are it doesn't matter, it is just a hair color. You can dress the way you want. You can still wear makeup. You just have to tweak things slightly. Now i, with the white growing out, i'm able to get away with some of my colors that i have loved forever. Today i am in the pinky peach family, which i have always loved, but i am now able to add a little more pink into the look. The more the white grows out, so i'm really happy about that because i love my pinky peaches and i was like. Oh am i going to really like the cooler neutral? You know bluer tones, i don't know so, as my hair grows out more i'll be able to play with more colors. So for me the journey has really been it's been in the beginning. It was up and down, but now it is not. I mean i just and to be honest with you when i pull my hair back, i love it even more and you you'll also get from a lot of people. Well, why don't you just cut it off and make the whole process easier for yourself? Well, that's! Okay for some women and if you're a hairdresser out there, you will understand what i'm talking about until you understand the texture of someone's hair. You have no idea really what you're talking about, because for me the more weight i have on my hair, the better it performs for me because i have frizzy hair and if you know, if you have been trying to fight frizz for years and years and years, You know what i'm talking about and i'm not the type of person that put a lot of layers in my hair, because my hair, doesn't it doesn't just fall into place, it's harder for me to work with them because it just wants to puff, because that's the Natural state of my hair, what you see here is much easier for me, because i can either round brush it or i can throw velcro rollers in it or i can throw it up on days that it just won't behave, and i have a lot of those Days in florida because of the humidity so cutting it off, isn't necessarily right for everyone else, and it again it goes back to how comfortable you feel with something i don't. Like short hair, i had a pixie. I had chin length hair for a very long time and i was never comfortable with it. So for me, because i do get people, you would look so good with a bob. Actually, i don't look good with a bob. I'Ve had that style haircut and it was more work for me to get it to behave and it didn't to be honest with you for me again. This is a personal preference. It is nothing i think there are women out there that look so good. Sometimes i look and say man i wish i could wear my hair like that and they've got almost a man's haircut and they look so good. So good, there's a woman. I can't think her name is kate. I think she is. She has a phenomenal figure. She'S she's more athletic, looking she's, not she's, not the soft round woman uh figure, she's more athletic fabulous shape. You can tell she's taken care of herself for years, but she has super short hair she's on instagram she's, not on youtube she's on instagram, but she has super short hair and every time i look at her. I think man, if i had her bone structure. Oh, my goodness, i would shave my head bald if i had her bone structure, but i don't so. I know what works for me and i think there are other women in the world that know what works for them. And another thing is, i don't feel feminine when my hair is super short and i love being a woman. So i love that feminine side, although i'm strong too, i love being strong as well. So anyway, again your journey will be your journey. Mine is mine, so um hair care products. Now i haven't really changed much, but i will say there are certain things that you have to watch out for now. White hair has a tendency to yellow over time it. It'S just a you know if you're, if you're, especially if you're around like smokers, your hair, may yellow, if you have like a wood burning stove, your the environment, that you're in does affect your hair. The water that comes out of your taps will affect your hair, but the products you use are just as important. Now i don't use a lot of blue shampoos. Maybe once a month i was using them on the ends, trying to cool them down a little bit. So they didn't look brassy compared to what was going on now. I don't really have to do that anymore since kelly kind of fixed the problem. For me, i am going to use a blue shampoo, i'm going to pick one that is not necessarily very dense in purple color because you can stain the white hair and i don't really want to do that. Now. My white hair i've never had to use any type of blue shampoo on it, yet it has not yellowed on me at all now. This may start to yellow a little bit in the sun, so i may then use a little bit on that area, but i will always avoid the new growth there's, no reason to use a blue shampoo unless you are seeing the yellowish tones that are caused from Your environment or the water or products that you're using now here's another thing about products, and i was going to bring it. I did bring it in. Let me grab it so when it comes to your hair oils or your shampoo, your conditioner, a lot of them will be yellow in tone, or some of them are really strong, pink in tone. So if you use the those a lot and you start to see that tint in your hair uh, you may have to change from using that now. I still use a clarifying shampoo once a week on all of my hair, just to make sure i am taking any extra product laying on any silicone that may be coating, my hair, so that my masks work better, and i do think that a clarifying shampoo is Good for all hair colors and i still use one but for my hair oils, i have noticed that many of them are golden in tone. Now i don't use a lot of oils on my scalp, but once my hair gets longer and the white is you know down to here, i will be using oils and i don't want the oils to stain my hair, so the moroccan oil that i like to Use as a treatment oil is very, it has an amber tone to it. So that may not work for me in the long run. Now they do have a lighter one, and i do have a bottle that. So if the original doesn't work for me, i will try the for light hair, but there are a few oils, and this is my favorite hair oil, especially finishing oil, but the colleen ross, child smooth and shine hair serum is absolutely clear. So if you have white, hair and you're having a problem with hair oils, because a lot of them are tinted or their argon oil, which has a yellow hue to it or golden hue to it or an amber tone um, they may not be working for you. So the colleen ross child, it is clear, it is not pink, it is clear, no color at all to it, it's right there and it just works so beautifully. I mean i run it through the ends and it just adds an incredible shine. It does not weigh the hair down it just it doesn't. I mean this is after i've already applied some of it, so i'm applying more, but it really just leaves the hair very nice, and if you are someone that wanted to run it through your gray, your roots, i don't put oil on the roots because it weighs My hair down, because my hair, when my hair is in its virgin form, it is very, very soft and that's another thing. My grays have have not changed from the texture that my hair normally is anyway, they're, not as dry, but um they're, very uh, silky uh. So far i haven't, i haven't been dealing with any coarseness to my gray. Now the back may, because it's getting it's very curly back here so uh it may, when i pull it up, there's a bunch of ringlets in the back of my neck, so that hair may perform differently than the front of my hair. The colleen ross child is a clear oil and also dominus has a clear oil. Lanza has their it's in the blue bottle or the aqua bottle. It is um it's more of a teal bottle, i should say, but it is clear, also the healthy, the healing oil, the healthy healing oil. That is also clear: if you are someone who is dealing with your hair care products, leaving a hue on your beautiful white salt and pepper gray hair, then you need to first of all try using a clarifying shampoo, at least once a week. I, like the one from daveness - and i also like the one from moroccan oil - has a very good clarifying. Color proof has a very good clarifying shampoo. I think redken has a really good clarifying shampoo. All of the clarifying shampoos that i use are color proof. Okay, all right so uh, that's a really good oil to try again it's the colleen ross child smooth and shine hair serum. I think i do have a code for 20 off, but this is really nice. Now, i'm still able to use the colleen ross. Child hair mask even use it all the time practically every day i use some sort of masking on my hair alright, so i just thought i would go ahead and hold it up, so you can see where we are at, and i just i love this white. Just love, love, love, love, love, it and um. The center is a little bit um. It has the little bit of the darkness in it, depending on where i part it this side, that's how it's growing out and now, my back. Let me turn around my setup here is not as perfect as in florida, okay, but we we make the best of it. So my back of my hair, you can see, is more salt and pepper and then, as we move to the front, you can see that it starts to get lighter towards the front. But it's still a little bit darker and then we'll take another part and you'll see that it starts to get white. So the front half of the hair is mostly white and then and as time goes on, my back may turn white. Who knows um. You know i, i can't tell you what's going to happen with this anyway, and that is my journey. I have to say i absolutely love my hair at this point and i have no intentions of turning around now this is it i'm really hoping that when we go back home, i have a growth spurt and it just keeps growing. You know what i i actually do think to myself. Okay, at what point will i consider cutting it and probably, if it got to about right here, i would go ahead and cut it. I did cut this time. It was down to my butt and uh. She took off about three total inches, maybe even four and just freshened up the layers, but very long layers. I don't get short layers because my hair will just go crazy on me if i put short layers in it, especially in the florida humidity. So i'm just here to tell you my friends: it's not the end of the world to allow your beautiful white, hair, gray, hair, salt and pepper hair to grow out. I don't feel any less a woman i don't feel unattractive. I don't feel like. Oh lou is repulsed by me. I don't feel any of that. None of it to be honest with you, i don't even think about my hair. During the day i get dressed well, i used to get dressed lately. I'Ve been in my pjs just laying around uh, but when i am up and about i feel like tammy, i just i feel like a better version of tammy. I really do. I am not afraid to age. I am not something has happened inside of me. I am at peace with who i am i'm getting chills. I am at peace with everything i just i all i care about is that my loved ones know that i love them and that they are all healthy and that i'm healthy and that we have quality of life, and i am a true believer my friend so Many people that are so beautiful on the outside that have nothing nothing inside of them and that's not the journey i care to take this is all going to fade. We can be whoever we want to be. You can wear your hair any way you want. If you're someone who wants to stay brunette your whole life, then that's what you should do for you it really it's only a hair color. So that is it my friends, seven months going strong, just another hair color, my friends, all right in the comments. Let me know how you're doing on your journey. Has it been easy hard? Did you give in? Are you still going strong? Do you feel pressured to let your hair grow out when you're someone who wants to remain a redhead for the rest of your life? I'M here to tell you don't: do it don't feel the pressure live, your life as a beautiful redhead and just flip your nose up and anybody that has you know i i don't i don't know i. I don't hear many people criticizing women for coloring their hair. So it that would be interesting to me. So let me know in the comments: do you have people pressuring you to let your hair grow out its natural state or reverse of that? Do you have people in your life that are giving you a really hard time because you just want to age? Naturally, let's get the conversation going, my friends all right friends, that's it for today before you leave, though, make sure you hit that subscribe button. I would love to have you as an ageless beauty. There'S a bell right next to it. That'Ll notify you of all the videos that i'm putting up until the next time my friends go out in the world and be lovable and remember. It is okay to love your age. I love you all. Bisous

Tammy's Ageless Beauty: JUST A REMINDER FRIENDS.....ANY comment response from me saying you have won something...THESE ARE SCAMMERS...DO NOT REPLY to any of them...I WILL NEVER DO A GIVEAWAY THIS WAY...IF IT IS FROM WHATSAPP or TELEGRAM.....BE aware friends...LOTS of scammers these days...I know most of you know this already...just trying to protect those that don't...RESPOND TO NOTHING!!

Jane: I know it goes against everything we have been taught in the beauty world, as women....but, I think the white/gray hair has a real youthful effect. It is soft and feminine. You look amazing CMT. :-)

Cynthia Proffitt: IMO, you are the epitome of a classy woman. The more you let it grow out, the more I like! You wear it well. I am excited to see your continual journey with your natural color. Simply beautiful!

SJSK: You look absolutely incredible Tammy. You have bent over backwards to not offend anyone and, while I wish you didn't have to, I hope it empowers other women not to care a whit what others think of their personal choices.

charlottesmom:: I freaking LOVE your white, it is going to be stunning when its all grown out. I keep trying to grow mine out but chicken out after a few months. I may give it a good 6 months try this time, its easier for me since I only use semi permanent color. My husband has 80% gray so he can't really say anything about me going silver/white.

Moira Williams: i have been grey/silver for three years and so understand your journey. I received so many more compliments now since I went natural and I also don't care what anyone thinks as this transition is right for me.

SassyT: Yay Tammy! I am 2 years into my letting go of dye journey. No more itchy and burning scalp and I love my salt and pepper hair! Your hair looks gorgeous!

Kathy Mitchell: I let my grey grow in four years ago. My husband always loved grey and white hair. After a few inches of growth, I had my hair stylist put in tons of white streaks. It made a smooth transition while it grew out. You look FABULOUS!

Maria Elena Martinez: Thank you , Tammy, for giving me the final impulse. My daughter left her hair go white and once in a while encouraged me to go white. Now I’m a month and a week, or so, into growing my white hair. The problem I’m confronting is the frizz, but I hope once it has grown some more (it barely reaches the level of my jaw)… frizz has always been a problem in my life. My daughter uses a shampoo for silver hair called “Silverati “ (it’s little pricey) but my hair is worth it… At 81 I deserve to try new looks… below I’m going to try to include a photo of my present hair situation…Again, thank u for ur inspiration and suggestions!

TheBody360: I think you look great Tammy....and honestly I love the blend with the cool toned blonde too...it's a great integration as it grows out. I agree the bright white really suits your colouring. I have read that whatever your natural grey colour goes to, is what suits uniquely your own skin tone etc, so let's hope we all get the grey that suits us best. :-)

Taylor M: The very end of the video made my heart flutter and sing. I’m so so so happy for you that you feel so good and so at peace in your skin and in your life. I feel like that is where we all should want to be. It’s so beautiful to hear and I’m so glad you share with us! I grow more and more confident, comfortable, and happy with time and I’m so grateful for it. You go Tammy! Grow your hair, love your life, and keep living up every moment!

Blanca Colon: It looks great on you, Tammy! I started that journey a year and a half ago. I get so many compliments that I'm totally overwhelmed sometimes. Women I don't know (even young ones) stop me at stores to tell me how beautiful my hair looks. I remember when I hated that my roots had started to get white, especially at the front. I kept dying them and they were very resistant to color, which aggravated me. Now I just love the silver in my hair. I can't wait for all of it to be white!

diane caird: OMG…. I never felt feminine either with the short hair that EVERYONE told me to do !!

Petra Dane: YAY!!! So glad you’re enjoying your hair!! That is all that matters - although isn’t it a bonus that it truly does look fantastic?! The blending was done beautifully too.

Marianne Cheronis: I can so relate to the frizz dilemma! It was especially distressing while growing up...my hair was like a bale of hay, and combing or brushing it out was always a painful battle for my mom and sister! As a teen, I longed for the straight, smooth, shiny hair which others had - and forget about those early days of blow-driers...a flyaway, crazy mess!

Ann4U2000: I had a feeling that THIS would be the time you were ready. I'm happy for you. Going natural was the best thing I ever did. Wish more women would see the beauty in rowing older gracfully. :)

Rose Elliott: As a former stylist my hat goes off to Kelly, she did an exceptional job with removing the gold. I’m glad you are feeling better, and can enjoy the rest of the summer

Reesa Card: I love going along on this exciting journey with you. I love it! I have made the transition myself and it’s so freeing. oh, I’m 67. I get compliments from strangers wherever I go. My hair is long also.

susan wright: So happy to hear you love your natural color! I did it for the same reasons you did and it’s been several years now. I constantly get complements and I am known for my silver white hair. A few people still like my darker hair but who cares?? My husband loves it and men do still look!!! And Crystal frames are my favorite now!!

ErinBthankful: My husband is all for the natural grow out- others not so much! I'm with you! Whatever makes me comfortable!!! ❤️

HRHPaula: If my hair was as thick and beautiful as yours, I'd let it grow long too! I'm in the early stages of THINKING about letting my hair grow out natural also because I DO have a lot of gray. This inspires me though!

Cheering Past Challenges: I love your hair and your bold confidence! My mom died this year and I really started to grey as a result. It was a shock to my system. I have left them alone. Grey hair is in! Plus it will always look better than bottle color because it’s what God gave you.

Connie Pleasant: Gurl…so happy you are loving this journey. I grew my hair color out from a shorter haircut and once my color grew out I decided to also grow out the length and I am luuuuu uvvvvv ing it so much. I have a ways to go it’s at the back bra strap and I can’t wait for it to get to my waist. It’s so fun & I too think it’s sexier for me. But boy do I enjoy seeing short haircuts and fun bobs on ladies. This journey is so many things. ❤️ I never, ever, use a flat iron or curling iron on my hair. Only a blow dryer with the brush attachment and sometimes I pin curl my hair. I rarely use purple shampoos but when I use more hair products like a gentle gel or curl boosting cream I do use the purple shampoo/conditioner. I oil my hair when it’s wet & dry and it helps since my hair is wavy & thick. I think the oil I use is called ICON and it’s clear as well. ‍❤️ I decided to go grey when my husband suggested it when he saw all of the problems I experienced with hair color…never going back.

Alexandra Jesuele: Absolutely love your natural hair color ❣️! My white “halo” is beginning to grow in too and I’m considering a similar journey towards embracing the white. Hair texture and color is quite similar to yours and your makeup tips and hair product advice will be valuable if I am to see this through. Please continue to post your videos. You’re an inspiration to us all !

Tracy Schnepf: Bravo Tammy for continuing this journey!!! It looks stunning! I went on the journey 2 years ago and have never felt better about a decision, of course my hair is much shorter than yours so in a year it was complete. My husband absolutely loves it and says whatever makes me happy then he is happy.

mstamaria: I just want to say that I've been watching you for years now. I've always enjoyed your videos. Your hair always just blew me away. Gorgeous! Now that you're letting it grow out I'm so excited. It's not my hair but it's fun to see how it looks when it's all grown out. So far it's still so damn beautiful. You've been blessed either way. I'm glad you're still here and I'm on the journey with you. Not my hair but menopause ... oh yeah. I look forward to more videos. Keep rocking it girl!! I adore you

Annette Weber: You are an inspiration, Tammy! Thank you! I have androgenic alopecia and am losing so much hair at the temples and crown that I will soon need to change style, and possibly cut my longer hair. It is heartbreaking. I wish I was worrying about the color of my hair instead of the loss of it. Thanks for this and other videos regarding taking care of hair.

Holly Kurtz: Your hair looks absolutely stunning. I honestly think the silvery look makes you look so much more vibrant. I lost most of my hair due to alopecia and could have any hair color I want in a wig but chose to go silver as the hair that I have left is silvering. I love it and don’t feel it makes me look old.

Dee Wilkerson: First off your hair looks healthy and you look beautiful! And, your body thanks you for stopping the chemicals. As a retired hairstylist it was challenge for me to go natural. But, three years ago I started the journey. I have gotten so many compliments. And, I’ve decided it compliments my complexion much better. I do notice if I use a heating iron to much my hair turns from platinum to a dirty off white. So, I have to be careful. By the way, my husband loves my natural hair.

Aimee Metzinger: Going through the same thing after covering grays since I was 30! Went gray very young, and now 60 with long (made) blonde, like you. Going to medium long, and changing the tone of the blonde, as you described, after seeing if I could grow out gray, then not feeling ‘ready’. Thanks for sharing your feelings and helpful hints.

Natalie Kennedy: Love your hair Tammy,I went white at 50 I got tired of colouring my hair my hairdresser encouraged me to let it go natural and we both love how my white hair has turned out I would never go back to colouring it love it to much my husband loves it , I will be 60 on the 5th of August. ❤❤❤

Judite Marchany-de Castro: You look amazing and thank you so much for sharing this journey with me. I love it I decided to do it in 2020 and as you said my husband loves it and says you do what makes you feel good. I am 60 and I still have a lot of dark hair with the whites and grays in between. I have actually been accused of coloring my hair this way which is ridiculous. My 50 brother has my hair but with a bit more white then I have and he looks fabulous someone saw us both together and she said he looked distinguished but that I was looking a bit older and I have less white then he does. We both have what you would call salt and pepper but the same skin color but yet the comments are weird but I am happy with myself and anyone else’s opinion does not matter. I love your hair

Jodi C: Tammy, It’s really looking lovely! So nice to see your progress. I’m on the journey as well and my stylist is making the transition possible with blending out the gold. I’m so ready!

Mary C: Glad you are feeling better and back doing videos. As a silver sister I've enjoyed this video and your journey to silver, but I most say, I enjoyed even more the message at the end. Our society is so concerned with the external beauty that often forgets to look and work in the inside.

Elizabeth Guarda: Such an empowering video! Thank you for your honesty, positivity and confidence boost to women of all hair colors! I have been on the same hair transformation journey for a year, having turned 60 years young this past June :) I have thick, long, wavy hair, very similar to yours. I will admit, the first few months were an adjustment. I am fully committed to letting my white and salt and pepper (we are hair twins lol) grow out long and lush. You are truly an inspiration to all aging beauties!!

Diane VDT: Tammy, You made me teary at the end. I've been fighting the aging process to exhaustion. Please impart more of your wisdom to those of us who struggle. The silver makes you sparkle. xo Diane

Judy Bonny: I love your hair! I've been on my natural journey since August 3. I too love my white natural hair and look forward to when my colored hair is all grown out. I love watching your transition as I'm doing it at the same time. Here's to being natural and growing old gracefully :)

From Fear to Faith: I’m one of the happy ones! I stopped coloring my hair from blue black in March of 2020 ( my 50th birthday) and haven’t looked back since. I am now completely gray and I love it. It’s so much easier, healthier and flattering. Your crown is lovely and so becoming to you. Your such an amazing woman- classy and gorgeous all around! I am not currently using a clarifying shampoo but I am going to add one to my routine based on your recommendation. Thank you Tammy your such an inspiration.

Yarnchic60: I started my grey hair journey in March . I have very dark brown hair that I have been coloring since my late 20s early 30s (I’m 62) . My stylist has been putting a few lowlights in my part line to make the skunk line less noticeable . This may take longer but it’s what makes me more comfortable . You look beautiful . So far my stylist says I’m only about 45-50% grey so I’ll be more salt and pepper .

Tatiana Vardanega: I feel you Tammy! I am on the same process and as you, i am loving it! I don’t see me coloring my hair again. My husband loves it too, i receive soo many complements. I am loving this fase of my life. Lots of complements to you, you are my Diva, my mask queen!

Tamara Figge: Hi Tammy! I did this beginning three years ago and I had almost black hair. It took four months to transition and I haven’t looked back since. I use the Surface purple conditioner and it is great! I love my gray hair! The curly has returned too!

Sparkle Donut: You are going to look gorgeous!!! I’ve been growing my sparkling grays for two years now!! I’m in my early 40’s and I love it. I don’t miss dying my hair every two weeks.

Debbie Atkerson: I love your hair! I have always had long hair, and I don't intend to change that, ever. Thank you for standing up for yourself, and showing the rest of us that we DO have the right to wear our hair however we want to! One size (length, color) does NOT fit all

Snowboardchick: YAAAAYYY!!! I’m so glad you love your gray!!! Woohoo!! I’m behind you by 3 months and I’m with you 1000%!!!❤️

thebohobabe: Your hair is gorgeous and so flattering. As a stylist myself, I’ve decided people are really just equating the color to age which is so silly because so many people DO grey early in age. And I find as we age, the lighter colors are softer for the face- I tell my clients all the time “Mother Nature knows what she’s doing” Meryl in The Devil Wears Prada is one of my all time favorite looks. Total bad ass.

ErinBthankful: I am on my gray journey right along there with you!! You look absolutely stunning!!! Such an inspiration!!!!! BEAUTIFUL ENERGY

pauline johnson: Tammy, I didn’t think it was possible for you to be more beautiful!! Your gray hair gives you such a glow. If anything you look younger.

stormet54: Your hair looks beautiful. I started my journey to natural grey hair on 10/2/2021. Not having the beautiful long hair that you do, I had no qualms about slowly trimming off the dyed portion as the grey emerged. I'm now completely grey and loving it!!! Life feels easier, more carefree, and better now that I have one less thing (roots) to deal with. I've had to adjust my makeup colors, especially foundation. Some of my clothing colors look better on me and some I'll probably no longer wear in public. My hair, currently in a longer pixie style, can be styled with wet fingers. It's also no longer frizzy, but maybe length has to do with that. Sorry you'd been ill. Covid?

DancingForLife Follower: Yes, I have people in my life pressuring me to color. I, also, had a switch flip inside me! The people around me need to watch me grow older and face reality and stop kidding themselves that I can stop aging and freeze in time.

Shawnie Hendrix: I love your hair- but it’s your attitude I love the best! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’m 55 and I’ve been back and forth with the get in my hair. My problem is I don’t take the time for myself to put on make up regularly so I always look tired. I’m trying to figure out how to do natural make up now. Maybe just eyebrows and mascara? I’m in the Golden isles of Georgia so the heat and humidity melt my make up off almost immediately. I love that my husband thinks I’m naturally beautiful - he encourages me when I feel ugly.

Reflexology52 Welsh: I love what you’re doing with your hair! In my 50’s, I gradually started not caring what ppl think, it’s SOOO freeing! I wish I could go back to the younger me and tell myself…. Caring what ppl think about you can really change nothing, it only serves to burden you! PREACH TAMMY PREACH!!❤️❤️❤️

Pam Murray: I love, love, love your transition color! Love you too! Strong, smart, and beautiful. You go girl!

Laraine James: So good to see you back, hope you continue to feel better quickly. Your hair looks amazing, having the shade of grey that you have around your face is so complimentary. What your hairdresser did looks really good it looks so blended. Your hair really does look gorgeous xx

Vikki: I have been watching you for a few years and have always thought your style is so elegant and classy. Your makeup is always beautiful and your hair has always been gorgeous. I absolutely LOVE your white hair!!! I think it is so pretty around your face and was so excited to see that you are finally loving it, too! I let mine go natural a few years ago and would never dream of dying it again. I love my gray and white and I especially enjoy the pure freedom of not having to worry about my roots any more. It's not for everyone but I do think that there is a grace and elegance to embracing the change.

susanmcf1: Your hair looks great! I wish I had let my hair go gray at your age instead of waiting until I was 70. It's been 5 years with gray hair. My hair hasn't looked this good or been this healthy since my pre-coloring teens.

lepeicious: Tammy you are a beauty no matter what color hair you have! My dear Mom who passed at 91 and finally went natural hair, salt and pepper at 82 was just gorgeous and had many people women and men all ages, told her how beautiful she was till she passed. Beauty starts within your heart and soul!!! Love everything you said here in this video and agree 100 percent!

Melinda Boleman: Your hair looks beautiful. I am 3 years into my grey hair growout. It has truly been the best experience ever. I have gotten so many compliments, my hair has never been healthier. At first i was afraid it would wash me out as i am very fair complexion, but strangely it has made my complexion look healthier and glowy. You are gonna love it when it is fully grown out. It looks stunning on you!!

Lee Kewin: I absolutely love your silver hair, I am so excited for you. I have been on my grey hair journey for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier. x

Cindy Jones: I still can’t decide to color or not. I’d love to see a video on how you came to be at peace with aging. I’m struggling. Just turned 62 last week. I work out every day and keep my weight down but the reflection in the mirror is becoming an old woman! I don’t feel like I am and I’m in pretty good health. Would love to see you do a video on acceptance. And your hair looks gorgeous!

Rose Schwiebert: Your hair is so pretty!! I had my hair cut really short. I love it!! My husband likes it too. You are so right. Confidence and not worry about what other people think is key. My hair can always grow back if I choose to let it grow. My husband can’t wait till I let my hair go gray. I’m thinking in 5 years.. once I turn 60.

judy kilger: Omg Tammy!! You look just gorgeous!! Love the white! Your hair is going to feel so much healthier ! Mine is white now and it’s never felt this good after 35 years of colouring! I’ll never go back to colouring !! You are beautiful inside and out!! ♥️♥️

Beyond50Skin: Great explanation of the reverse dye method! So true, you must find a stylist who is highly experienced to avoid breakage. I also went grey in my 20’s, am a cosmetologist & tried to go Grey twice before finally taking the plunge!! So true, we can rock our grey!! Your going Grey journey is awesome to watch. Thanks for sharing

Linda McAndrew: Bravo Tammy! I’m happy for your decision to go “au naturel” ! The silver color is pretty on you. I’m 70 I stopped highlighting my hair bf any grey showed up decades ago. My grey appears as highlights throughout my brown color. I’m happy with it! Your face is beautiful and silver is stunning on you!!

Irene Kennedy: Aww I have goosebumps in happiness for you! I had the exact same journey. Tortured my scalp and my hair glowed in the dark haha .. no more .. yesterday I got so many compliments… men stop me and compliment (kindly). I too have clear Michael kors glasses and yup .. perfect Tammy you look beautiful and your heart is still so big and love it when you call us “my friends” Thankyou for sharing

Debbie Talbert: I’m glad you’re feeling better. Thank you for sharing your hair journey with us! It’s exciting seeing your white hair grow out. You always look so classy. Take care and God Bless!❤️

Angela Whitlock: Your new growth is so beautiful. I am on this journey too, 11 months in. I don't care what anyone thinks either. It is so freeing.

E.B. Entertainment Productions: you are stunning and im starting on that journey myself. I did grow it out about 6 inches before and it was a beautiful white color and i got all positive reactions from my friends and family as a matter of fact they were more excited about it than me lol. But then I chickened out and dyed an regretted it instantly so now I have to start all over. I did notice I had less hair fall out and my hair was shinier and healthier when i stopped the dying. :)

KadysMom: I'm so glad you did this video, love following your journey. I started growing out my white when Covid began and I love it! No going back to my vivid red which everyone associated with me. I want to reinforce the importance of choosing the right shampoo. Silly me, even with my cosmetology background, I tried the new Olaplex shampoo which is a very deep purple. I should have put it down immediately, but oh no, not me. Even with a quick shampoo, I had a very purple tinge. No, no, no, those White Minx days are long gone! I bought the Oribe Silverati Shampoo and my hair is now a gorgeous pure white and I couldn't be happier.

Carolejean6 C: I’ve been really dark my whole life I’m not ready to go gray my hair has thinned in the front and keeping it dark keeps it looking thicker,it would age me 15 years I can tell when I went through the Covid era and didn’t get to the salon my gray ages me because it looks thinner! You look fantastic! ❤️ I love your attitude girl!! I’m a super young looking 59 though. One day I’ll let it grow out !

pinkglacier: Good for you! You look beautiful. When I first let my grey grow out I felt the same. There is something very empowering about it.

Anne Alexander: I’m loving your hair! It took me letting my natural hair grow out three times for me to really be happy with it, now I just love my salt and peppers looking forward to more silver. You challenge me to take better care of my skin and hair. Thank you beautiful Tammi

Cindy Wiemers: Tammy, I’m so glad you love your gray hair!! As a fellow silver haired sister, I love it; I love mine!! Thanks for this video and all the info! Hope you continue to get better. It was SOOO good to see you again! Love ya, Cindy ‍

SuperLil35: Hi Tammy! Just wanted to say your hair looks great! I love the combination you have right now. I think it’s going to look great too when it turns all white. It’s a very pretty white! Have a great day!

INSIDE BEAUTY with the old girl: Hi Tammy, I think your hair looks absolutely gorgeous! We show our true beauty when we are true to ourselves and be who we are. Gray hair brings on additional wisdom at a higher level.I know you have received that because I feel the spiritual maturity all around you, that is why you are at peace, that is why you have made the shift and that is why you look so beautiful because you are glowing inside and it shows on you. I am so very happy for you! Love and blessings, Sheila

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Tammy! You look stunning and I love your attitude. Right before the pandemic I had my hair cut into a pixie which was the end of my hair color. It's now white mixed with dark blonde and it's all natural. Love and blessings ♥️

doreen maggio: Thank you Tammy I appreciate all the wisdom and beauty and the discount for Colleen I just ordered it . I am loving the natural aging process and embrace it I will be 64 and my crown of glory has been challenging at times yet worth it because I Love it . ❤️

MsKViz: I loved this video. I felt like I was listening to myself. I am 62 years old, made the transition completely last year with shoulder length hair. Ironically, I am also from Buffalo and have had nothing but positive. Barely a day goes by when I am not stopped on the street or in Wegmans with someone telling me how gorgeous my hair is I too needed to tweak the makeup a bit, play around with different colors in clothing, etc. My hair came in pure white and I did find most of the purple shampoos (even high end) can leave a lavender cast. But I would like to mention that L’Oréal make a a purple conditioner in their Ever Pure line that comes out of the bottle Navy Blue….not purple. It has been a game changer for my pure white and leaves a really nice genuine silver cast. Bravo Tammy!! ❤️

L R: You look stunning. I stopped washing my hair 2 years ago (even then I was washing only when I would put on my henna); and then decided to give up the henna a year ago. I am loving it. I feel like not washing my hair keeps it looking really healthy. I do massage my scalp and use one of those scalp massagers sometimes (the ones with the long metal fingers). But I am loving the gray on you. hope you are feeling better.

C Pearson: Your hair is looking fabulous! I went all natural over ten years ago and I wouldn’t go back for anything!

The Original Mrs. D: Never would know you’ve been Ill - you look gorgeous today! Loving the hair - you’re grow out looks great, it blends into your dyed color beautifully!!!

RuthAnne MacKinnon: I decided to stop coloring in my 40's when I was seeing my patients in thier 70's & 80's still coloring & how it aged them. I'm so grateful to have gone natural & now slowly going grey, like natural highlights

Susan Freeman: From what I see, I’m loving the white/gray. The color is stunning, and I think it is accented by your great makeup choices. You are looking so sophisticated and I am so glad that you are loving it too ♥️

DancingForLife Follower: I have already gone back from total grow out of color, once before. It is painful, but I am going to do this again. Let me tell you, I have seen some women who have done so and look quite classy! I wanted to wait until I began to be totally white and silver, but the time is now, for me. You do look great and you are very encouraging, thanks! I will say that I did enjoy the color and finally found the two tones that gave me back the hair of my youth. It does turn heads, but men my age know better. It's for me and what I need, at the moment.

Lori Dunton: I also let my hair grow out and I love it. It’s very freeing. At 62 I was ready! Your silver hair is very flattering!! I enjoy your videos.

Kristi Billings: Your hair is beautiful Tammy! When I started graying in my 40’s I looked like the bride of Frankenstein until it finally all changed to one color

Monica Contreras: You go Tammy !! Your beautiful with your hair !! I think it's gorgeous. I like that Lou is supporting you. My hair is growing out too and it's been 2 years without color for me. I like the freedom I have not to have to do something. There's alot of stress in the world and I appreciate not having stress to color because the grey is coming out. Also, as a single woman, I need to be conscious of my budget especially in these times. Looking forward to hearing more of your journey. God bless you and your blessing from above, Lou.

Nancy Ciampa: I love your hair! It looks great on you. I'm considering letting mine go natural also

Jen Ready: Your hair looks stunning! Love these updates!

Sandra Kelbaugh: Love your beautiful gray. I'm now in the process of letting mine grow out. I made the mistake of getting it cut very short and bleached to platinum, and I was sorry a week later, but now that it's platinum it matches my gray, hopefully it will make the process easier. You keep letting yours grow out, it really is fabulous.....

acmahrt: I love it and was really hoping when you initially decided to try it that you would be able to stick to it. Beautiful. This is exactly how i've been growing my white hair out with the previously dyed blond long hair. Just a process of blending over time until it is finally all white/gray. Like you - white on top and gray underneath.

Karen Crane: Oh, Tammy, I'm so glad you are loving your hair! I have been all natural for probably 3 years now and I would never to back to color. I get so many compliments on it and I am really quite proud of how beautiful I think it looks!

Ana Valdesuso: You look absolutely beautiful Tammy. Your hair looks great. I still can not go on that journey of going grey but when I am I will. Thank you for all your wonderful videos.

joni4taz: I'm right there with you Tammy for this growout journey. I haven't had my roots done in 7 months and went for a "blending" appointment....126 foils!! It's a fun process and my hubby is just as supportive as your Lou :) Let's do this!!

anitasings1: Gorgeous! You are inspiring and have it right about length! We all know our own hair. Thank you for taking us on this journey with you!

Kim From Arkansas: Tammy, I love the gray, it’s stunning on you. I’m 57 and have as much white in the front as you do and about 6 weeks ago my stylist put a white blonde in so that the gray would blend better and I’m actually getting used to it and don’t mind it at all. The only negative I see on myself is that in the back of my head when I comb it, I have so much gray it resembles a bald spot on the back of my head and it’s not. It’s where the brown color and gray blend, other than that I don’t mind letting it go gray. My hairstylist said we could put some dark blonde underneath but I haven’t decided if I want that or not. Thank you for sharing. You look gorgeous

Barbara Cossentino: I love your gray hair Tammy. It looks beautiful. I let my hair color grow out about six years ago. I love it. It really is a journey though.

Julie N: Tammy, I love your videos. My way of going gray was to do nothing but wearing it up more while going out…otherwise I added no color except for purple shampoo and conditioner once a week. Mine is a bit dry and wavier and I get many compliments…I still have darker under color. Thankful not to have to color it now for over 15+ years…I will be 57 in September. Continued good luck on your going gray journey. I wanted to add as I continue to watch the video…mine was well received…my bestie misses my blonde and I miss her red hair…she has went blonde. I have gotten compliments…my hubby loves mine too…I also don’t care what others think about it either. Glad to hear what that man said at the optometrist…

Mia Beia: I love your hair! You inspired me to do the same! You always look beautiful!❤️
