I'M just welcome back to my channel. Thank you so much for stopping by and if it is your first time welcome, i am just out and about right now, um just finished going to the hairdresser um i had to put get my hair touched up texturized because my hair was so thick in the Roots that it was so tender and um still is actually still is very tender, but my head feels so much lighter. What'S this best guy doing yeah, my head feels so much lighter, even though it is tender, but i'm coming on here to talk about, is you know, thinning hair? My hair is just so thin now and i mean i've been um. I'Ve been losing hair for um for years. Actually i mean i'm quite surprised that i even have anything left on my head, because the handfuls and handfuls of hair that have come out of my head, um you'd, be shocked um. But since i went gray, i had to say that um i'm seeing i mean the loss is more now um. What i think i have to do is you know understand if this is because of the gray which gray hair is uh quite a bit more drier. Um and brittle it's dry and it's brittle hair got to keep it. You got to keep your hair super moisturized um when it's gray, and that would be my um my advice to anyone that is just like starting out on that. This transition um is to find um find uh products that i'm still on that journey. So i can't even give you many advice. If anyone has any advice, please put them in the comments box comment box uh below in the uh, because your hair is gone to dry out and it's gon na stay dry. It'S gon na be, and i don't know if i'm on the extreme end of this because of my sjogren's syndrome, so um sjogren's. You know, as i mentioned in that in my um sjogren's um video. It is a drying condition, so it dries out your skin dries out. Your mouth dries out your eyes dries out anywhere that you have moisture producing cells in your body. It starts it attacks those cells and draws it out. So it's quite um possible. I know a lot of sjogren's people that are not gray that are losing their hair, so i mean it could be part and parcel both um situations that are um, impacting me, and probably just impacting me on a much more substantial level, because there's two issues: the Shoguns itself and the gray hair that already has um that's already drier so yeah, so you know to doing my hair today. You know i just wanted to like come on right away like this is freshly done, i'm driving home from the hairdresser right now, just to show you you know. Well, it is just so thin. Oh, my head is so tender so tender. It'S been like that for a couple of months now, just like tender and tingles done well be mindful of the dry hair. I got a deep condition today, because my hair was just so dry. I had the hairdresser um, give me and i'm thinking, i'm gon na have to do that all the time. Every time i go now, i'm gon na have to make sure i get that deep condition and i'm gon na have to start doing deep conditioning, deep conditioning myself. That is something that i just don't do um so yeah. I got ta change my ways too. To help this process along, but i have been um out and about looking for gray, hair treatment, products um and lo and behold folks, just like everything else, gray, there's very little on the shelf. There is very little on the shelf. Um i've been to several paces. Um and hair stores and nothing there are no treatments or anything that caters specifically to gray hair, and i honestly feel for um for how gray hair is there should be just like. We have the purple shampoo, the blue, shampoo, the purple conditioner, the blue, conditioner, and really all that does is it takes the brush brushiness out of the hair right, so all that yellowing and that brassy color. It just helps to reduce that which my hairdresser didn't. Do a very good job of and she noticed after she was like yeah - it's still a little yellow here, um but um yeah that and to me that's all that does right, but to help retain moisture and for hair um. That is so. That tends to be on the drier and the more brittle side. I think there should be something that caters specifically to gray hair. That'S my feeling, but i'm not finding that if it exists - and anyone else has please again share um because i it is the dryness is real um. It is real and my hair, of course, because of the dryness is just breaking and breaking and breaking so um. So that is just um one, more challenge that um that you face with this um. You know there's nothing that um. That necessarily helps the the um helps the process. Oh, my gosh, i feel, like i've got a bald spot here. I'M gon na have to go home and check if i sound whiny. I just i'm like my hair. Oh my hair where's, my hair where'd. It go. I miss my mom, oh just i'm just whining yeah, so heading home, um. Don'T think i'm gon na stop anywhere else, i'm just gon na head right now and um and yeah um. So that was just me um whining planting complaining. You know how it is. Sometimes sometimes you just got ta, let it out um. You know. I'Ve had friends that say you know why don't you just go like natural you've gone now: no hair dyes? Why don't you just take the next step and go natural? That is not happening for me. I i've got to tell like i've, got such tender head right now from my hair, growing new growth growing in and me keeping it so long, and that's part of the reason why my hair was breaking so much too. When i went to her, she had to chop a lot of it off, but i mean i can't comb through my new growth. Why would i want a whole head of that? I'M sorry, i i'm taking add on taking care of um natural hair, yeah, no yeah. So may it i'm sure i mean i don't put perm in my hair, a relaxer. I do use texturizer and i know a lot of people are gon na say texturizer is the same thing, but it's just a little bit different um and the reason why i've used i switched from a relaxer. I think. 10 years now i've been using um texturizer. In my hair, because it is the lightest i went down down and down with the relaxer to mild - and i just had to find an even milder form and texturizer was the next um was sort of the next level down so yeah. So i put texturizer in and when i wash my hair because i've been losing hair for the last. I don't know how many years um it's helpful to have texturizer, because when i wash my hair, my hair is almost that feels almost natural. But it's um more manageable, so it texturizer doesn't make my hair bone straight um. When i wash my hair, my hair is like in a natural state, only it's more manageable, there's no kinks right. So it's like kinky straight type, type of thing so that i can handle, and it gives me a little bit more body because you know i started, as i said, losing my hair years ago, and this is why i've been going down to a lighter, lighter version And yeah, i'm probably almost at that stage now where i've got to go natural because i've lost so much hair and but i'm just not there. Yet i'm just not there. Yet, and like i like the styles that i can do with my hair and when i can manage it when i can slick it back and slick it down, i can you know i can move maneuver it a lot easier when i'm in a situation where i Can'T even part my hair, like yeah, that's that's what i think about that: i'd love to do it if it were easier, um and yeah nothing's easy in life. But you know what that's the point: nothing's easy in life and there's already enough. That'S hard. I can't add this to it so anyways enough of me babbling and you guys so much for listening to me go on and on about nothing, much really so um! You saw my whining car video yeah um, so i just wanted to um just put this clip on the back end of that um. You know about my hair and um how it's been falling and just how dry gray hair is so. I know i have to do a better job of keeping my hair moisturized. That day i did get like a deep conditioning at the hairdresser, so that has helped, but you know i have i'm i've just been um. You know just a little astonished as to how you know gray hair, i think, needs special treatment and i they just don't provide the products for specialized products. I i and i don't know like i said if they're in my video, if they're made somewhere, please share um i've. What i've tried in the past is jamaican um black, castor oil, to i used to put that in my hair, and it was good at keeping my hair um, keeping it from drying out um. But it was just it would just sit in the hair and, of course, the smell, but it would just sit there. You know it would just sit there. So um, i'm not um. I not even sure that that's like the best thing to be using. I i'm not sure that i saw much difference. You know much reduction in the falling hair and whatnot um, so i'm still on the hunt um for um for products and i'll show you um just an example of me being out looking for. You know products to put in my hair and there's just one example. I'Ve been like to many many places, looking for things that cater to gray hair, and that would help with the extreme dryness that grey hair, um um people with gray hair experience, but i have yet to find one. So i find it a little curious that i cannot find any type of shampoo conditioner that is specifically for gray. Here we have a lot of blonde blonde blonde where's the stuff for gray hair. Where is this stuff, specifically for gray hair? I see this one right here, a touch of silver, never heard of that brand hard to find what you need for proper gray, hair care yeah. So you you know this is essentially um what i'm finding everywhere i go so um. What i'm gon na do is is just to keep on um. Looking because that's all i can do, i can't give up um yeah can't give up, because right now this is what my hair is looking like right and if you pull you pull out here so um. One thing, though, that i have learned i guess in the last um, which i didn't i i guess nobody i don't know, i don't know if anyone would tell you, but i just never knew that um you lose hair from you can lose hair from anesthesia right. So i would say that i've i've always had falling hair. My hair has been falling out like since i was um in my 20s right. It'S and i i always say it's a wonder that i have any hair left on my head with the rape that my hair fell out, but i mean i have falling hair in my 20s but much much much much worse in the last um. I would say three years, so what i didn't realize or know is that anesthesia people will undergo hair loss from anesthesia um and it can last up to a year after um being under anesthesia. Didn'T know that and maybe if i had known that um i went under anesthesia four years ago, i believe it was. When i did my double knee um surgery double knee scopes. Then i went under anesthesia again when i did my knee replacement, and that was two years ago now and then i just recently went under anesthesia and i'm sure it was a lighter form of anesthesia. Though um, when i did my um gastro and colonoscopy, i did them at the same time, so i was under anesthesia for that, so i'm just now finding out that anesthesia can cause hair loss so having you know had four years. I don't think that's why it's probably been so excessive, because i have not had the opportunity to sort of recover fully between. You know those sessions and then undergoing it again. So i'm gon na have to do like a much much better job so with the anesthesia. With the fact that i have sjogren's syndrome, which is a drying condition as it is, and with the fact that gray hair is just so bloody dry, i think i have to double my efforts at ensuring that i keep my hair moisturized. So i might end up layering back in the um jamaican black castor oil start using that. Maybe i won't use it as often as i did, because it's really heavy um, but maybe i'll layer it in, like maybe it'll, be a weekly use or twice a week. Um but i've also purchased um these products. This is apple, cider, vinegar, root, relief with peppermint oil, so it says soothes, itching and irritation, refreshes scalp without washing or water, great for weaves, braids locks and extensions. So um. I find that when i do have my um braids in and um, you know. Of course, we all know that you know we're going to lose hair when we take out our braids, but i do lose an excessive amount when i take out my braids. So this may help during that time as well um and it doesn't have to just be it - can be used of course regularly. So no mineral oil sulfates um uh parabens silicones um gluten poly poly polyplene glycol likes okay, so none of that stuff's in it. Now that i know what half of that stuff is um, the only thing i recognize there is um the gluten um and the sulfates um. So it says: refreshes the root without water conditions and soothes, the scalp nourishes the roots to promote healthy hair growth, so apple cider, vinegar, root relief. So i'm going to give this a shot. I haven't started using it. Yet i will let you know how that how that is working for me over time, another one that i bought was um mark, anthony coconut and she nourishing condition. Coconut and shea nourishing nourishing conditioner for dry, damaged, hair, restores moisture and protects plug plus biotin. So i'm going to give this one a shot as well. The directions for this is just apply to clean, wet hair rinse for added hydration, follow with coconut and shea leave-in conditioner, which i also have as well um, not necessarily the mark anthony brand but um. I this one was expensive, so i just thought i would try this one instead of buying the whole family of products, so these are two new ones um. So, aside from making sure that i'm doing deep conditioning i'm going to um, i use already, i use coconut oil moisturizer in my hair. I use that every day. That'S! What'S in my hair right now and that's aside from my regular coconut hair oil um, i used to use lotions and stuff like that in my hair, but i don't anymore so this is gon na, be my new regimen and i'm gon na try it and i'm Gon na, let you know how it works out for me, so i will follow up with you and tell you how it's going and how the falling is and the dryness is and if i see any improvement once i start this and i'll also keep hunting for Other things that i can use in my hair and for gray hair - and i will let you know all right thanks so much thanks for joining folks, bye,
