Everyone so that a different kind of video today talking about a hair thing - this is the dry part, detox, dry, shampoo and for brunettes - and I have a long-standing favorite of mine - has been the original detox dry. Shampoo I've gone through quite a few bottles of these. It'S super expensive, full sized, you can't like wet. Is it three ounces, three and a half ounces and it's $ 27 of the original one? I use a lot more product than I do if the brunettes one - and I just wanted to talk about like comparing how they work a little demo, hopefully of how it looks how much I use when I use it. I do have a fairly old review on the original dry shampoo, and this is I've, tried, lots and lots and lots of dry shampoos, and this is the only one that really makes my hair look better than it did sometimes the first day, first day, hair, because It adds a significant amount of volume for me, and it also actually takes away that oily look and keeps it looking good until I wash it the next day or that evening. Usually my experience with most dry shampoos are either they don't really help or they help for a couple hours, and then my hair actually looks worse by the end of the day or even like five hours later. So this has been my absolute favorite for a long time, but Bailey B here on YouTube was talking about the brunettes version. She said it made her hair look a little thicker and I thought why not try that out and see how it is. I know a lot of people, don't like the kind of brunette dry shampoo stuff, because it like you know you touch your hair and then transfers onto your hands and it's messy and got brown streaks dripping down your face if you're sweating or in the rain or Whatever so I can't really speak so much to getting like super wet. You know from like significant rain or significant amounts of sweat. I haven't noticed any like small amounts of sweat effecting like it running. I can see it come out of my hair when I wash my hair, but that's the only time I see it is actually when I wash my hair so as you'll see in the demo. I try to use much of this at all. I just hit the spots that I know are oily, which is like where this cowlick is at. The crown of my head gets super oily and just kind of around the front of my face, and especially the parts that I kind of touch more often when I'm kind of flipping my hair around up in the front and then also since it does have a Tint, I'm trying to kind of evenly distribute it so that all of my hair gets a little bit of the tint. So I feel like the tint is a big thing right, because what color brown is it is that gon na work for, like naturally brown hair, is it only gon na work for hair? That'S been dyed brown, so this is my natural color. I do have a fair amount of white hair that you can't see anymore, because this stuff is covering it. So it takes very little and I feel like it has a significant impact on the gray, hair or white hair that you can see because most of my white hair is around my face, and most of it now is kind of like a warm a lighter warm Brown, so if you get this on your hands, it really looks like a pretty good, like mid-tone to darker cool brown, but if you have naturally ashy Brown hair, I for me my experience is, it does add a little bit of warmth to my hair, which doesn't Necessarily match totally, I do have some warmth in my hair. I have some red in my hair, but the brown parts are pretty cool Brown and then I have the white too. So this doesn't, I mean, I'm not trying to take away the white completely, but this does take away a lot of the white. So if I'm wearing my hair back actually it's kind of nice because then my hair line isn't so it's just. My hair tends to look really messy in pictures, especially with the black background, when I have it pulled back because there's so much white, just kind of like I don't flick it back and it just looks like it's all over the place. So it looks a little bit more neat. Actually, when I've had this in my hair and it's a little bit, you don't see as much white. I, like my white hair, don't get me wrong, but sometimes it's not the best. It'S not super flattering in some pictures. In the way that I want to take them, so would I recommend it there's something about this formula that I feel like is a little different than the standard dry dry bar detox dry shampoo. I don't know why I can't spit this out. I feel like the brunette's version makes my hair very tangley. It'S like it has more sticky hold to it. I don't feel it doesn't feel sticky, but it feels like I've teased it. Basically, so I make sure to brush it really really really thoroughly, and I generally like it's been a while, since I got my hair cut, so my hair is gon na tank a little bit more because of the ends are kind of drying and they just get Snarled up a little bit more easily, but typically I can just kind of like finger comb, my hair and then do the dry, shampoo and maybe finger comb some more and I'm good to go. But with this one I feel like, I can't do that. I need to have it like fully fully detangled before I put it in and the first couple times I used it. I used more of it because I was used to the other formula. This I have to be very sparing with and make sure my hair is not tangled in the slightest, and I can get away with not brushing it again if I don't want to, but I do feel like it can help also to brush it out. I have like it's it's almost, I feel like you know, so, throughout my pregnancies, my hair has gone from like kind of wavy to almost a tiny bit curly to kind of wavy to almost flat, and I feel like it's in a just like barely wavy, almost Kind of phase - I don't know if I'm ever gon na give any waves back, because that was my last baby. But you know normally, I wouldn't want to brush out my hair because it just gets puffy and kind of loses the wave. But the wave is so limp and weak that really it disappears if you touch it so that is kind of a downside right now, because my hair is so much not wavy, it's not a huge deal because I can brush it and I'm really losing much cuz. There'S barely there anything there to begin with, but I do feel like it's something that it's a little harder to work around just because it makes my hair so tangled. So I don't know if this is gon na be like the universal experience. If other people have that issue too, but that's something I just wanted to put out there - that it's been very different from any other drying, shampoo, honestly that I've used like I said, I've used a lot of them. I'Ve bought several of those little sample packs of dry shampoos from Sephora, so I tried a lot of high-end brands. I'Ve tried a variety of drugstore brands, and these this brand is the only one that works well for me, and I've never had one so kind of sticky, snarly so use sparingly, possibly brush or comb out your hair well and also just watch out for your face. I would recommend doing this before you do any sort of skincare and makeup. I did use a wipe just to see if there was. I was really trying to be careful not to get it on my face, but I did have some on my face like around the edges of my hairline. So it's something that I feel like you really need to have the ability to clean off your face. Granted. I'M very pale, so I'm gon na notice that tint a little bit more then somebody that is not super pale but um. You know you probably don't want a bunch of dry shampoo on your head, though you probably would with regular dry shampoo. You just might not see it, so you know it's just something to kind of keep in mind it hesitant so the tint can get on your skin. I haven't noticed getting it on my ears or anything. It'S it's really been fine. I do wash my hands after, like they say on the bottle: wash your hands after you use it, because you know you're kind of ruffling around when it's still not totally like set and dry, and it does transfer to my hands but like if I try to Get my hands up in there now I don't see any transfer into my hands, so that was what I was concerned about and that has not been an issue so yeah so far. I I do enjoy it. I'Ve used it quite a few times, probably five to ten times, and I really I like it and I might repurchase it I'm not really sure, probably yeah. I would probably repurchase it. They'Ll get it on sale because whoo, it's so expensive, but since I use less of it than the original formula, it actually ends up being a better deal, so not bad. So I think that's about all I wanted to talk about today. Let me know if you have any questions or comments below. I always love hearing from you guys. Ginagal9: Thanks Nicole; hope you and your family are having a great weekend. I have never tried a dry shampoo because I am afraid they won't really work. I also color my hair because I have a lot of grey. I hope I am not being too nosy, but why do you not color your hair? Are you concerned about the chemicals, expense? I know I spend a small fortune on hair color and I am trying to find a color that allows me to kind of blend with my grey if that makes sense.
