They help clean and neutralize brassiness and also help get rid of dull yellow tones in both blondes and gray, hair, okay, smart tip and while you're not using purple shampoo use a sulfate-free shampoo and wash your gray hair, at least every other day, because environmental damage and Pollution can make gray hair look duller, so you should also find a hydrating, shampoo and conditioner containing antioxidants to give your Gray's. Okay. Ladies keep your hair cut, sharp with clean lines and avoid using tools like a razor, because that can actually cause the ends of grey hair, to split and fray. Oh and because grey hair can also be coarse. Try to get a trim like every six to eight weeks to keep it fresh, Oh another, great tip when it comes to the actual maintenance of your grace. If you brush your hair nightly, it will distribute the oils from the root to the tip of your hair. So after about like six weeks of regular brushing, your grace should be shinier and glossy err just like these rows right here. SPChannel722: Wash your hair every other day? Brush your hair every night? One of the reasons why I love The Real is because they generally appeal to a diverse group of women. This segment fell way short on the diversity scale.

Adelia T: Ive been grey since I was 13 years old but it rapidly increased in my 20s so i started to dye it. Im 35 now and ive now embraced it after i stopped dyeing about a year and a half ago. I get mixed responses but i no longer study people’s opinions of it. What I do realise though, is that grey hair (on women especially), seem to trigger people’s fear of dying, because i have seen the sheer horror on some people’s faces when they see my greys and I tell them im only 35. They look even more horrified when they find out that I’m single. Its sad really, we as women should embrace our greys, its sad that society groomed us to consider men’s greys as distinguished, and women’s greys as us being closer to death.

Emma Moreau: YESSS! I started going gray in elementary school and spent years and years trying to cover it. Around 23 I decided to embrace it. I'm now 25 and wear my grays proudly. I get comments on my hair daily, and while some aren't so kind. Many tell me they like the way my hair looks. Thank you for the tips on how to care for it, I'm only getting grayer!

Kat A.: That 50% of people going gray at 50 years old stat seems inaccurate. The majority of people I know have a few gray hairs at 30. Maybe because people dye their hair so much they can’t even tell anymore that they’ve got some natural grays.
