For about one year now, I've been mixing in my cassia, also in ena, so my mix is currently 2 tablespoons of it and 6 tablespoons of cassia, and I mix them there with warm water. I apply it immediately and I live alone, usually for one hour, sometimes 45 minutes not rest in debt. I already came to a conclusion. Western debt will not provide me full coverage of my grades. By adding to my mix, I was able to reduce a lot of the work I used to have. If you check my other videos, so I don't need to mix anything else other than water. I don't need to allow for dye release during the night and I don't need to leave it on my hair for two to three hours. I can just do it for sometimes up to 45 minutes. Even so I saved a lot of time and also work. So this has been working out for me. I also like the color I get as you can see. I get a different different shade, so we can see alone. I was getting more of yellow blonde stain and by mixing inner, I get more of a caramel like a warmer shade. I think it matches my my hair color, so I I'm happy with it might not be working out for you if, for instance, you were blonde here, but for me I, like the shade and, as I said it gives me 100 % gray coverage, which I never Able to get with Cassio lo some workings I have to tell about adding in one is annals permanent. So it's not like cassia with Cassie alone. If you stop using it, if you use a software champ for a few times to lose just come out within I mean I, I still don't use sulfate shampoos, oh, but but Anna does not come out. So it's a very permanent thing and I do know that I cannot, for instance, just apply now chemical dye on top of it, it would get really weird results. It'S not something I want to do anyway, but just give you a warning. Second thing is, I would recommend, maybe you start with lesson so when I started applying, and it took me a long time to pay the courage to add and that's why I had so many experiments with yellow because a nice will be so. This is one thing. The other thing is, after you apply it right afterwards, the hair looks a bit orange II, don't freak out as usual, it takes a little bit about more or less a week until you are able to see the final result on the hair, so I'm currently outside And this is my so that you can see how it looks I said start close. I started in the beginning we just 1/8 in and then I increase it to two eights because with one lace I was not we'll be getting good coverage for me. So I I like it better like this, but of course the tone is also more it's working, so the more you put of possible debt, the more the water, the tone you will get also so, if you do decide to use and start with withdrawn daily increase, Gradually yeah, I hope this helps you any questions.

// SJ //: Your hair looks fabulous! Thank you for all of your videos, I have found them so helpful! I have been using various combinations of henna, indigo and cassia for about 8 years and it is very challenging to figure out what works, but when it works well the colours are lovely! For me the main issue has always been applying the colour, it is hard work without help, and also the build up as the hair grows - no matter how hard I try there is always a build up so the ends are much darker than the roots. I am naturally dark brown with about 50 percent grey. Recently, like you, I have been trying cassia experiments and I am not patient enough to do do two applications in quick succession to get the build up - there just isn't enough time for that level of effort! So, I am also thinking of adding a very very small amount of henna back in, maybe 1/8, as the colour I desire for my greys is a warm blonde. And I want to minimise the build up of henna on the dark hair. What do you think? I'd love to see how your hair is now! Luckily now I have my husband recruited as my hairdresser and actually he does a great job of the roots! Lastly, do you recommend a good brand? The company I use usually are called Its Pure, they are in the UK. However, I am now in Sweden and since Brexit I have to pay customs duty if I order from the UK! Thank you so much again for sharing all of your experiments, they have been so fun and clear! Sarah-Jane

merel merula: Thanks for this followup video, it's awesome to see what finally worked for you! One small note: in the video you say you use 2 parts henna 6 parts cassia, but the title of the video says 2/8. When I've tried 2/8 I don't get much color, so I'm assuming you use 2/6, as you say in the video :)

Kat Schlitz: Beautiful! Thank you for sharing all you do!

Alessandra Rivero Hernandez: Obrigada pelos seus vídeos, me ajudaram muito. Tomei coragem e passei a Cassia 7/8 e Henna 1/8.

Valgus: but your hair has grown fast, so long and thick! are grays still growing? I also started trying cassia on gray hair. It is very interesting to see your results and explanations. Thank you! and I also have the similar black cat :)

glimps: thanks for your videos! i was wondering what kind of shampoo do you use to make sure the color stays for the longest amount of time? And how many times a week do you use it?

glimps: Also I was wondering, what has been your best method when you were still using only cassia, do you have a recipe including all the waiting times? I'm gonna start with cassia one of these days on a few strands of grey, and i would like to start out right :)

1996vivian: What a gorgeous color! Could you do a video on how you prepare with henna and cassia? I have grey hair and this is the color I would like to have. I know I would have to use more henna and cassia as I have no color on my grey hair. Thank you! You have a new sub!

hipretty: OMG!!!!!! Curly in Germany I have been sailing in and out of your channel for years, because I too was trying in the worst way to cover / camouflage my grays with Cassia and Cassia mixed with other ingredients. I was frequently on hennaforhair when the site was loaded with mixes, recipes of henna and other things and thousands of photos sent in by users of henna or cassia and henna all over the world. Now the owner sells her own mixes and you are no longer privy to all the thousands of posters Mix recipes, they have all been pulled!  But I was hard pressed to find a beautiful red result on someone with grays! UNLESS they used indigo to become brunette, which were not results I wanted! I was a natural redhead, (not orange but more auburn) like what a brunette gets with henna. The weird thing is what has not gone silver or white is like a drab lead color without a drop of red anymore except the bottom of my hair. No one would ever know I was a redhead as my bushy eyebrows were always darker!  I wanted some solution for years, but feared using henna. I was frightened with no pigment in the white strands to turn those greys completely orange with henna. I did Cassia with everything!!! I am so happy for you, that the color is actually beautiful! ☺ Can I ask you a few questions? I always found cassia rinses out quickly. So....If you are blending Cassia with henna...what happens over time? Does the cassia rinse out and the light coating of henna remains? Does that change the color of the results? Or do you at that point just start seeing grays peeking through? What kind of coverage do you get on your greys (would you say full coverage?) How often do you have to touch up? And lastly...how long would you say after it was done is this video? Please do post an update video the next time you do it again, to show how it looks when it is just done (after the brightness subsides a few days later of course!) Thank you so much for sharing!

Helen Iwasaki: thanks for this, I am going to try it :)

P D: Hi @Curly in Germany.. M so glad I found you. What a lovely colour that is. I have natural dark brown hair color. I don't like the reddish, orange, black or burgundy shade. N since we are trying to conceive, I don't want to use any chemicals on my hair to cover my Greys. Please guide me on how to get the goldenish hue on my brown hair color? I've heard people telling me to add chamomile tea to the cassia mixture.is that true?

Marian Lyons: Hello, Nice colour, I am going to try this but maybe only a teaspoon for now on a patch of hair underneath. Can I ask why there is no need to let the henna infuse with cassia in that you can apply straight away and would you still need something acidic as well ? Many Thanks

Ophelia Bells: what about amla? i was reading that amla tones down the red? i just cut my hair to get rid of the hendigo mix ive been using it was just too dark for me i'm a dark blond that gets reddish-blond highlights in the sun but now i'm getting a bit of grey hair, more and more every day and don't want to use chemical but i'm missing my lighter hair and don't want grey.

Donna: What Cassia and Henna products do you use?

Maria Harlow: Thank you!!

Anežka Poláčková: i stopped using henna.. it got just too dark and it made an ugly ombre effect.. but my hair was healthy, that is true

Meme Momo: Add camomile to your mix
