Best Black Hair Colours For Olive Skin Tones +Dyeing My Hair At Home (Medium, Tan, Yellow Skin Tone)

Today, i'm going to be going through the best black hair colors for individuals with olive skin tones aka yourself, and also about the different types of shades of black hair color, as well as taking you through an application of me dyeing my own hair at home. With some regular box dye, okay, so what happened was i was planning to go into the store and film it for you, but i ended up completely forgetting to film so yeah, sorry about that - and i just got picked up two of these garnier olia in the Shade 1.0 deep black. Now some of you might be thinking that black is just black but there's actually so many different shades of black and then the same with hair dye, black hair dye as well. Yeah, there's several different shades. For example, there's brown, black red or violet black natural, black, soft and ashy black blue black, as well as jet black. So i'm basically going to be going through all the shades of black that i personally found that go really well with olive skin tones which basically refers to having a green, yellow gold and even sometimes a grayish undertone to your skin. And, as i always say, please do remember that every individual is different, so there is no one-size-fits-all approach to any of this, so will also depend on whether you are a cool toned, olive or a warm toned, olive or a neutral and true olive. But this video is going to be basically targeting all of skin tones in general, also, if you're curious about all the other hair colors that might look good on olive skin tones. Firstly, if you do have very pale skin and very pale hair or blonde hair, as well as very pale or blonde facial hair, such as your eyelashes, eyebrows and stuff. Like that, then black hair can tend to look a bit unnatural on you. So unless you are going for that specific look or are able to darken up your eyebrows and eyelashes, then i would avoid black color on you just because it can sometimes tend to look a bit too harsh for your complexion. But if you are going for that look then i would darken up your eyebrows and eyelashes a little bit and either go for a jet black or a blue black tone for that contrast, as you can see here with these celebrities now, if you have a medium Skin tone in general, then i would opt for something a bit of a brownish black or a nice auburn toned black or even some a nice soft and natural black. And then, if you are a true olive or even have darker skin, then you can basically pull up a natural soft black as well as a jet black and a blue black. So you can suit all these colors, but you would especially suit a nice natural blush. Just because a natural black color is a very good contrast to your olive skin, so it can really enhance your skin tone and make your complexion glow from within and basically stand out. As you can see, with these celebrity pictures here and most likely, your natural hair color would also be a dark brown or a black color all right. So i basically took a vote on my social media platforms such as my instagram stories, my facebook stories and then here on a community post here on my youtube channel as well, and a majority of you by a big difference on all these platforms, so that you Prefer me, with black hair in comparison to brown hair, so i generally like both colors, but i just wanted to know what most people thought um suited me better. So i'm going to be listening to and dyeing it black today. So the last time that i basically dyed my hair was in april, so it's been a good six months since i colored my hair last so it'll also be a nice fresh color and a good change for me. So yeah this is the garnier olia in shade 1.0 or deep black, and so this is a permanent hair dye with no ammonia. I basically just picked this up from chemist's warehouse here in australia yeah, but you can even get it from target or most pharmacies such as priceline and then i think also some grocery stores as well. Okay. So that's what the box looks like and let's open it up. It comes with an instruction manual instruction leaflet, so it comes with this bottle here, where and you're gon na just mix all the color in here. Okay, so it also comes with the after color care, which is basically just your conditioner that you're going to use after you finished your hair, coloring process or after washing the hair color. It also comes with a pair of gloves, and so this is the developer cream. That you're going to mix in here, along with the tone or the color yeah. So this is number two. This is the colorant cream or the color. So you're, basically just going to take this developer here and this cream here and you're gon na mix them both into this bottle here. So i'm all ready to dye my hair and i just got two boxes because i have longer hair they're, all mixed and ready for me to apply. So, let's start so, i usually brush off all the knots and tangles in my hair and then section my hair into five to six sections. This will depend on the thickness of your hair, and then i mix the color and developer as per the instructions on the box, pretty easy to follow and start the application on the section closest to my neck and then move upwards. Oh just drop some make sure to put on gloves provided with the hair color and rub in the color, starting from your roots or scalp, to the tips of your hair. Leave it on for about 45 minutes to an hour and wash it off by rinsing with water and applying the conditioner afterwards, that comes with the hair dye, no matter how hard my life would treat me, i'd always get right back up, never, okay! So i've just finished applying all of the black hair dye and there's dye all over my hands. So this is what it looks like after washing off the dye and basically drying it. I personally really love it. Black is a color that i always go back to, and this is what the shade of black looks like against my olive skin tone.
