Nordstrom Trunk Club Styled For The Holidays And My Gray Hair

Hi everyone today we're going to take a look at a very special nordstrom trunk club box, ordered specifically for the season. I went online and i requested a trunk that had outfits that would cover several occasions like a movie watching party with pajamas or pajamas for the for christmas day, i needed something to go to a orchestra concert for my children. I needed an outfit to go out shopping. I needed a casual party get-together with the girls and i needed a dressier outfit for either going to the ballet or an office party think they covered it. All. I haven't tried any of the outfits i'm going to try to put the looks together as if i were to wear it using items that i currently have. This should be fun so stick around and let's see what i come up with again. I don't know if the outfits will even fit me because i took the box, as is, if you don't know how the trunk club works go over here, or i will put a link in the description so that you can see all the details. In a nutshell, you have a stylist that puts together, looks for you, based on your requests and preferences and the longer you've been with them, the better the boxes get you have the ability to make changes to the box. There is a stylus fee, that's waived! If you purchase something or if you use the nordic club to pay for your purchase, if you send everything back, you're fine, you get charged for the 25 styling fee. But since i pay with nordie club that is waived from the get-go. So it is an ideal box for people who do not like to go shopping. You can specify even the price limits for the items that you purchase. Let'S start with my first look, i will even change my makeup throughout this video. So the first look. It'S a pajama set next weekend, i'm having a pajama video watching party here at my house. It'S an annual party. I'Ve done it for i think, over five years now all the kids get dressed up and we watch the polar express all the parents are invited. We have a party downstairs while the kids have a party upstairs and we all wear pajamas, it's very low-key. We drink hot chocolate, have s'mores popcorn and all that good stuff. So i needed something. For this year i buy a new pajama set every year, so this is the one. Let me walk away, so you can take a look at what i got with the pajamas. They sent me this lovely pair of slippers. These are uggs and they're super comfortable and cozy nice and warm on the inside, and i really like them, but they are a hundred dollars. So i don't know if i need them since i have a gorgeous bear from j crew, that's golden and more my style. While i bought this stuff, i went ahead and i ordered the capri blue volcano. This is a very popular candle that has a huge following. There is a very good reason for that. It just smells super fresh and it has a citrus tangerine base, at least to me, if you like, the scent of the capri blue volcano. I have two other candles that have that similar scent that tanginess sweetness that will go with it. That would be largely muse. Frasier fur, it does have the first scent with it, but it does have a tangy sweetness that is somewhat reminiscent of the capri blue, not the same but similar and and the lucius limoncello or lemon curd. I will put the link down in the description and this one has the exact same base as the volcano, but it has a little creaminess to it that kind of takes down the tanginess a little notch, but all three of these candles are lovely. If you like. One of them you will like the other two as well, because they're in the same family of that citrus undertone with other sweet fragrances. I really enjoyed all three of them hold on to your horses, because i'm getting on to the next outfit jumping to a really dressy look, i decided to put my hair back and spray it heavily and just flip it a little. Of course, if we were actually going somewhere, i would have had time to put more effort into the hair so that it is absolutely in place. So i'm not fussing with it at the party, the star of this outfit are these steve madden shoes. They are crazy. Tall absolutely fantastic look at that, and actually there are several outfits i could wear with this. If i could stand that tall, i just simply know that i will totally fall down with this outfit and these shoes, the dress, is a beautiful forest, green dress, sleeveless and very form-fitting. I was pretty comfortable with the top as it hides your decolletage really well, but i am uncomfortable with my belly area. I'Ve always had a very small waist, and i just feel like this shows that i have lost my shape, but i do have a little shawl that i can wear. That is quite festive. It'S a shawl that i wear day and night. It'S not super dressy, but i think it is festive enough. For the occasion the shawl is vintage j crew, oh, and by the way this is the purse. I would wear with this outfit. It actually was supposed to be here, but they had delayed, and it was part of the kirito box that i have not received yet shame. Shame shame. Also. The drawback of this dress is that it leaves sparkles all over my bathroom floor. Of course, my face has sparkles all over. I can't walk on the shoes. I'D have to find more sensible shoes which is not hard this time of the year, i'm a hot mess. You guys they sent me two body. I'Ve got what these things were called like a unitard leotard, but like a one piece thing that you kind of snap at the bottom there - and this look would be super awesome. If you have super strong muscles that you can hold yourself up in these shoes that i cannot even i cannot, even maybe they didn't see that i was 52 years old on my description, but i found some sensible shoes just to kind of show. I would never wear this because there's no way this much skin would be showing anywhere in public, even though y'all are seeing it right now, but you know what i mean so i'll walk away and let you guys see what this look would be like, and you Would imagine this if i were super strong and could hold myself up in these shoes and had a rocking body to rock this outfit hold on? So one of the looks that they put together was the green shirt that i had bought from my previous box. They put it again with the killer shoes, the sequin skirt, and one thing i wanted to say about the skirt: is i've owned sequins carts before, and this is super comfortable? It doesn't scratch or tug anywhere. So i will say it's got an a for comfort. I am trying this on with cheetah shoes and they're flat and pointy and that's my jam. I will be wearing this kind of shoes for whatever event, i simply can no longer wear high heels, maybe a one inch or a two inch. Even in my 20s. I don't think i was ever able to wear stilettos, but if you can they sure look fantastic. That'S one of the nice things about the stylist. Is they look at what you have bought so far and try to work with the pieces you have. I really love that there are a few more outfits like that in this collection that i will share with you guys. Another look that they put together was the polka dot shirt that i have with the amazing motto: spanx and the killer shoes, and i think this was the piece that they did the entire collection around too bad. I cannot wear them, but it would look super cute to have the little delicate dot mock neck with wild pants and wild shoes. I think they did an excellent job at putting together an edgy look for me. I am willing, i think i might keep the pants they're 110 dollars, but i think i'm they might be worth it for the versatility and if i can find some wild shoes that are not as tall but that are impactful, i think i can totally rock some Of these looks here is a super cozy look for going on a hayride or just hanging out and spending a day of shopping or cozying up with your family on the weekend. This is so cute plush and cozy, and i don't want to take it off. The look was set up to be with the moto pants and the ballet shoes and this red coat, but i think i just went ahead and put boots on because i thought that looked and felt comfortable. For me, i think the red jacket can be worn with this outfit because it will cover mine behind and it's festive, but i would wear it with a lighter shirt underneath because of my body type. It just did not fit well with such a bulky sweater. So there you go guys, i hope you all enjoyed getting dressed with me for the holidays and trying all the different, crazy clothes.
