THANKS FOR SUBSCRIBING AND WATCHING, I APPRECIATE IT. xoxo

Hi guys, thanks for joining me today, so today I'm in a rush, but I wanted to show you a another trick or tip to cover Gray's, if you, if you've, run out of your cover, your gray, like I'm running out of this, you know I'm just really Like scraping it into my hair now but um, and it's not really covering all the gray, so what I wanted to show you guys is a little trick. I just kind of figured this out when I watched Joan Rivers who was on QVC a few weeks ago, and she was talking about her new brush on cover your gray type products. And she had looked like what looked like a shadow and she had different shades of what would be natural, colored, hair, natural color, hair and um. She was just using a like a oversized makeup eye makeup brush and she was applying this powder product in in her hair and the girls who were testing the product, and I got an idea what, if I use eyeshadow to cover my grades now? Normally I keep my hair very dark like a 1b or black or an off black, and so what I did was I went into the bathroom that same evening, I pulled out an old eyeshadow that I wasn't going to use anymore. It was black and I did the same kind of motion that she did when she used her product when she was testing it, and so it worked. So I'm going to show you how I did I'm going to show you what you can use and you probably have these items in your house, okay. So if you're interested like I just said, I ran out of my cover your gray right here and knowing so. I got my hair all on this is a wig. This wig is cold here it is la Oh Maura. This is the wig I'm wearing right now and um. I cut this wig a little bit because was really really really long was just hitting me just below my shoulders and like I did it in layers to so inkay. I think it came out really cute and my husband loves it a lot. Okay. So now, with the hair, so once you've done your hair, whether you're wearing a wig or, if you're, doing your natural hair when you're wearing a wig. If you're going to wear your natural hair line, expose this work really well, so you don't really have to worry about it if you're not going to wear your hair line exposed okay, so I normally do wear my hair line exposures to give a very natural look To my wig looks so I'm going to take a comb like this just called a rat tail comb and I'm just going to not if my wickets on it's in place, I'm holding it down with my pins. If you need pins and or combs, and I'm going to take this part of the comb and I'm just going to pull out just a little bit of my front hair line now, my front hair line guys is always short much shorter than the rest of my Hair rest of my my hair is much long. This always works for me, because all you need is a little bit of hair to make a beautiful natural looking hair line, especially if you're wearing a wig, and you can do this if your hair is very kinky and coyly. You definitely can do this. If your hair is straight and you're used to blending your longer straighter hair into your wig now I don't know if you can see it, but I have some grays here and I've got a little bit over here. So I've got some very visible grades, especially when I'm outside I can really see them, they're really noticeable. So now I've got my hair pulled out and I have it in place where I want it and if you use pomade or mousse is to style your hair, you want to make sure you use those products first, because applying anything over top of the eyeshadow will Probably make it rub off okay, so everything that I probably wanted to use is I've already used it in my hair and what I'm going to use is a NYX black eye shadow. You can use any eye shadow. It could be a very cheap, cheap eyeshadow, because this is going to work and, depending on you know how long your day is. This probably will do all day in your hair, so you want to make sure you buy this, buy a product, that's really inexpensive and you you know and you're not going to use this on your eyes, because the one thing you don't want to do is transfer Any bacteria from our hair onto our eye, so this is what I use on my hair. Only I don't use this on my face or my eyes. I have an old brush. This is an old brush that I picked up from ELF calm and it's cute little like literally handled brush and then hairs were like a little bit brownish anyway, but as you can see it's black and it has um some of the residue of my my ELF Black eyeshadow, so what we're going to do is we're going to take the brush and just dab it in there not going to sweep anything, I'm just kind of DAB it in your a little bit, because you want to pick up a little bit of the black At a time, once you get someone there, cap off kick excess. You want to get that excess off. You don't want it falling onto your face and once you've shaken it off, then you go in and then you just apply the product to where you have grey. So you want to apply the eyeshadow right where you have the grays, and this really works guys. Now I use this yesterday and it lasted for hours. It really well, I should say it lasted all day because I don't usually do my hair anymore after I um you know after I got my wig on and I'm out at work and just brush it on. If you need to get some more, you want to get more and don't worry about if you're transferring product onto here, you're not going to use this on your eye anyway. So you're just going to save this for your hair and tap off the excess again make sure you get it all off. Don'T worry about your tapping off the product off of this because it's trapped in there and you want to just go back in pull back your hair and just fill in where you have Gray's, and I just and I've seen and covering my Gray's. If you want to get if your hair is naturally brown get a brown, that's very close to your hair color. If you're blond, if you're brunette you there are hundreds of different color eyeshadows, and you know you can find one that's going to match your hair. So that's like a no-brainer, so I'm gon na pick up a little bit more on the brush, not much in the math fact. That'S it! That'S what I'm going to do tap off the excess capital really good, and what I'm going to do is if you have if your hair looks like it's thinning in two in the front here, I'm going to show you my hair, I wouldn't say it's thinning. It'S just I just naturally have a thin temple area. I'M going to show you how you can just make it look a little bit fuller and not so Spacey and PC PC. Looking so you're going to take the same product, you've got your product on your brush and you're, going to just very lightly, go over it and just kind of almost like filling it in and away fill it in just a little bit. Don'T scrub it in just dust it across your hairline and that's if you need to do that, you don't definitely have to do this if you're, not if you're not looking thin in those areas, and I this is what I do and I bring it down here. Also and just lightly brush it in go back here, because I have a little bit of greys down in this area and I just kind of just just let the brush just dance just across the top part of the hair and what I will do is I'll. Take my comb kind of brush my hair down into place, use the pointed part to smooth anything down and, under my way same thing on this side, smooth it down and kind of get it under and the same thing here. You can just take your comb and just smooth it out guys smooth it out, and then you want to just take your hair blend it into your way and so that you can have a really beautiful natural look, and I definitely will do a really quick tutorial On this wig I'll show you the specs, because I do have another one I'll just take that one out of the package and uh yeah. So that's it for that guys and that's the look and it's really natural okay guys. So let me know what you think leave the comments in the comment section below welcome to all my subscribers or my Ulta subscribers and all my new subscribers. Thank you so much for joining me guys, take care and be well and I'll. See you at the next video bye, bye,

Dezi1016 aka Désirée: Check out this AMAZING hair trick ➡️ https://youtu.be/qnQbXr-9S9c

divabroker: Love this idea! It's fast, quick and easy. Another great one Dezi!

l w: Pulling out some hair to blend in with the wig line is genius & looks so natural and beautiful!

A Archer: I will definitely try this. My hairline always looks dusty because of the gray. I use a hair crayon but it wears off. I like your videos. I am always smiling throughout tour tutorials. You remind me of my favorite aunt. She was very glamorous also and sweet and humble as well.

Jacqueline Coleman: That is a beautiful wig, it looks great on you and very natural looking.  The showing your hair line with a wig and eye shadow technique are both great tips. Thank you for beauty tips!

Kesha Washington: Thanks for keeping it real Dezi. I am recently natural and I noticed that no one on youtube has grey hair, lol. Your hair is beautiful and if you didn't tell me it was a wig, I would have never known.

A Archer: THIS WORKS! I've been doing it since I saw your video two weeks ago!

sistahonamission: Hi Dezi, I love your hair and thanks for the wonderful tip. Peace and blessings!! :)

Lilcutenurse: Wow, great idea!!! This perfect !!! Always on time thanks Dezi

Icey Kitty🐈‍⬛: luv this tip! I have a resistant streak of grey at the hairline, that makes no sense in coloring (won't hold) And I have lots of unused eyeshadow...keep up the excellent tips. luv your vlogs

Patricia Campbell: Hello Dezi, Great stuff, I love the idea.  I use my mascara wand, but I love your idea because I'm changing my hair color and I never thought of the eye shadow.  Wonderful.  Thank You and be blessed.

Shemsa08: I love this trick :-) I use eye shadow all the time it works great!! :-).I almost like it better than the grey cover stick bc sometimes if I'm not careful Ive .noticed some of my hair may get stuck.on the grey cover stick...the stuff we have to do as women.smh lol :-)

hipretty: Wow Miss Desi, I have always just used a mascara on my Mom when her cover your grey would run out! Of course I would retire that mascara from any eye use after that. But the shadow seems to look more natural... you must use a fine tooth comb to comb through the mascara so it does not look clumpy on the parting and edges! Omara looks beautiful on you! :-)

Rebecca Nelson: Your such a smart lady. Great tips all the time. Thank you  :-)

Deborah Bonney: I use dollar store eyeshadow. Works great!!!! I just use my fingers and rub on the hair. Easy!!!

chocford: I am definitely trying this in the morning. Great tip. The hair is really cute.

OH CAROL SHOW: It looks beautiful! Xoxo

MsNan11: This is a great tip!!! Thank U for sharing!! Can't wait to try it :)

mhalla55: Nice useful idea. I will be doing it. Thanks.

Penny Holgate: I did that! The best idea it's better than liquid mascara.Thank You so much for sharing this video!

Life of Grandma Desi Swearingen-Rainey: Yes my great grandmother did this in the 70's I started doing it a few years back and lo and behold a video on it great job my sister

Candie Clark: Great tip Sis!! And you taking about the hubby PRICELESS:-) he like and that's all that matters:-) the wig is very natural looking beautiful!

K. Philomene: Love your videos!  I found that plucking my greys are better because they will grow back slowly and sometimes will grow back with the natural color.

momfrom NJ: Brilliant idea. This is like that product on QVC called hair WOW. But ten times cheaper. Great idea..new sub. THANKS!!!

Honey Childs: Thank you so much Dezi. Great idea!!!!

madcrazymom: If you want the eyeshadow to stick and last all day (which is more problematic for straight hair), use a little hairspray first, and before the hairspray dries, put on the eyeshadow with your large shadow brush, and then lightly spray once more.  I only do this along my hairline and in the part when I'm between coloring and covering up my grays, but it works great.  I have been doing it for years now and unless you go swimming or get caught in a downpour, it's gonna stay all day.

Roxanne M: So glad I found your You Tube channel Dezi, you are a wealth of knowledge in this area!  Thank you and I look forward to your next video.

m. m.: I just used regular mascara and it worked. The one for the lashes. I'll try eye shadow.

teresablackston: Elegant, Elegant, Elegant All the time. I love this hair tip I will try it.

Kristie Jennings: That is a great idea. Thanks love

Michelle Katz: I have a lot of loose mineral makeup powder...do u think it may work for my roots? I am a vegan and sensitive to chemicals so I am limited...is urgent eye shadow a little cake and waxey? maybe I could add some waxy Shea Butter in with the brown powder.??

Face2fayce: Innovative idea!

ΜΑΡΟΥΣΚΑ: Are you sure these products aren't damaging the hair even more?? I'm trying smudging eye pencil on my finger then massaging a few receding hairline/bald spots , would that be ok too ?

jeanie smith: Thank you for your information….I will try it…I had been using eye mascara and that is perfect and last even longer than a day….try that Dezi. But I will try this ….great tip. Tell me how you like the mascara...
