And yes, I know I look a total hot mess. That'S perfectly fine, because I am going to do something that I have not done in quite some time, probably a little over two years and I'm going to take the plunge today, I'm going to do it and I started off with applying this, and this is one Of my empties, because I did finish it off um. This is something that I don't only use uh to do straightening for my hair, because it is a difficult to straighten type uh protectant. I absolutely love it. I do love it and I know a lot of people have a problem with Garnier Fructis products. I do love them, they do not damage my hair. I have seen that they do protect it, but a little over two years ago is when I decided I was going to go Gray and I had seen so many videos on taking care of your hair, making sure you don't use a lot of heat things like That because it can alter the color of your hair - and I did not want to go through all of this struggle just to have it damaged that way. So what I did is one of my co-workers dared me and I did I took the Dare she dared me to allow her to straighten my hair. Well, she did and she took one strand and I am going to show you. It was a minimal minimal strand. Uh that she took - and this is about two years ago and said - look nothing's gon na happen to your hair. She took one strand and immediately when she went to run the straightener through she put it down and she says no, no, no more. She stopped when she stopped. I took a look at my hair and I kid you not my hair looked pink. It did discolor it. It did go away. I thought I was going to have to live with that pink strand forever, but no it did go away, but it took several weeks for it to revert back. I don't know if it was the chemicals in the products that I was using, the shampoo, the conditioner, any any number of products could have been the culprit, because I knew I didn't have any hair color in my hair. It was completely gone, so it could only be any number of ingredients in any of the products that I was using. Well, I stopped using store brand products and I started using a lot of the higher end products that I was getting in subscription boxes. So here I am after using all of that for all of this time this was not the product that we used the day that we straightened it. So it was a different product. Let'S go ahead and find out what this is going to do to my hair. I'M not going to do my entire head of hair and I don't have it on high heat. I have it on medium Heat and I'm gon na. Do it. I'M gon na put heat on my hair. So let's go ahead and get this done and see what it's going to do and it is a straightener that I've had for some years now, and this is actually the InStyler. I absolutely love it because everything happens in one single twirl and the barrel itself. Does everything so here goes nothing guys and let's hope it smelled pink? When I finish and do I dare look, it's not pink, it is not pink and, as you can see, it is straight. It is straight. I absolutely love it. I'M gon na do a few more strands. Then I'm gon na hop off continue doing my hair and then I will be back, but let me go ahead and try one more strand: let's go one more. Does that look pink, I don't know no. I am hoping not because I am going to continue doing the whole entire head of hair and I will most definitely be back to show you all the end results stay tuned. If you want to find out how it ends up, I am back, and this is the final result with my hair. It is still very, very soft, absolutely love it completely straightened and it does have the bounce that I normally have when I straighten my hair um. Just a recap: I do apply this to my hair and this is actually an empty. I did Squeeze as much as I could out, but this is something that I did not only use to straighten my hair. I also used it a lot during curly hair styles, because I do like the way it makes my feel my hair feel it feels soft and it feels manageable, absolutely like it. So it's not just for flat ironing, at least not for me, so that is it, but I will go into more detail on this product and what other benefits I got from it once I do my empties, I also applied once I straightened my hair and it's Not only when I straighten my hair anytime, my hair is dry and I want to keep the flyaways away. I use the Paul Mitchell and this is a super skinny serum this side and this lasts me because I think I bought this about. Maybe probably a year ago, if not a little over a year like I said, I also apply it even with my curly hair. It just leaves the silkiness and shine to my hair and it leaves it pretty manageable. But let's go ahead and talk about the main thing that I utilized with my hair, and that is my InStyler. It is a very, very old in style or I've had it, for I don't even know how long, but, as you can see, the barrel is still there are no Nicks and scratches nothing. That'S going to damage my hair. I have use this before but, like I said for the past two two and a half years, this sat in the the closet in my bathroom, so super happy that my hair did not turn different shades, that there was nothing that is going to keep me from Straightening, my hair again, I know fear kind of takes over and, like I said, my co-worker tried doing the straightening on my hair once and I think that was enough to scare me off for as long as it did, because it turned my hair, a very, very Pink shade in the Strand that she happened to do, but that is my review on straightening, my hair after two plus years thank y'all for joining me. I greatly appreciate it and I will see y'all in the next video Until then stay safe, stay, blessed smile, always bye.
