Covering Gray Hair Before Protective Styling. I used Clairol Natural Instincts dark brown to cover the gray in my natural hair. For my protective style I used 1b and burgundy hair for mid size long senegalese twists. This will last me at least 8 weeks before it's time to repeat this process. To maintain this style I use Taliah Waajid products to condition my hair and cleanse my scalp.

Hey y'all is me your girl see. I am back. Thank you for coming back and if you are new here, hey welcome. Okay, y'all! Listen! Yes, I got the Pro L up. I do so I'm about to prep my hair for some more braids um, the first a but first y'all see. Is I'm not ready, um, I'm not ready, I'm not ready for this gray hair. I got ta get rid of this and I'm gon na take out with me. I got to run out there in the rain right, quick and then I'm gon na come back and I got a you know, fix this situation, y'all, okay and never mind them edges. I'M working on them, I'm working on them, but before I go, let me show you all right, quick, this T! Okay! Yes, all right, Amazing Grace how sweet the sound okay, all right, let's get it! Thank you for coming back and if you are new here. Okay never mind. I said that already it's another day. All I want to do is show you all that I got that's best situation handled, okay, that I got those Gray's covered and yeah. I took care of that. So I'm just not ready to let the grace you know show and all that good stuff, although I see other women - and I think it's beautiful - I am NOT ready. No, I am NOT ready. So again, I am prepping to go. Get my hair braided and the next time y'all see this fro honey. She will be underneath some braids minding her business. Okay, all right, it's a new day. So this is the t-shirt that I'm rocking today, San Francisco, okay, it's a beautiful, beautiful place, beautiful city. I loved it so much so yeah some travel inspiration. Okay, if y'all haven't been there put it on your bed because it is beautiful, it's gorgeous, I loved it, um all right Josh, so I will be back and the next time y'all see us hit up here. Yeah I'll be and all right guys so before I go when to just show you quickly a little bit about this up, close okay, so this is Claire wall and it is the natural instincts line. I'Ve been using this for years now and I feel like it's gentle enough to where you can use it at least every eight weeks, or so I should say it depends on how fast your hair grow and all of that good stuff whatever. But for myself I can actually use it as often, and I also do partial applications as well, which is what I did last time. My grades grow in the front, so I focus there and just kind of in the middle part area as well. So, as you can see, it's supposedly last 28 shampoos. I can't really say I get through that many because yeah my hair is in a good growth spurt right now, it's growing fast, so my braids start to show pretty quickly. So I don't know that I can go with that and then it also says 80 percent natural naturally derived ingredients. Well yeah. I don't know about that either it doesn't have any ammonia or parabens in it, but I mean it is processing your hair right. So it's what they say so we'll just go with that. I can't really attest to that, but I can't say that it does work well, it does cover the ground. Well, I use number 4 dark brown and I get really good rich color from that. So that's pretty much it it's a closer look. This is not actually a review. This is me just telling you what I do so yeah. I would recommend this to cover Gray's. It does work very well, alright, alright, so I am back and it is done. Okay, the hair is braided and yeah. This is the results. Okay, and I know this - this has been a few days. It'S it's a process. What can I say like it is a process, but it is done. Okay, and these are my results. I just want to show you real, quick and then I'm going to show you how I take care of them once they're in them. This is how I've been able to grow. My hair over the last two years is braids have been my go-to protective style and I always like to do the senegalese twists. These are singles at the singles I like my Scout, being able to fully breathe and all of that good stuff, they're kind of long but manageable. So this is how long they are okay, so yeah and I've got like the two colors in there. I think it's like a 1b and whatever the burgundy color is, I'm not really sure exactly the number on that, but that's what it is. Here'S a close-up. I love it. I love this color so much I just love it and so that yeah this is the the result. I typically and mostly will wear a middle part, so yeah so just quickly. What I use to maintain my braids while I have them in this, is my number one thing y'all. I love this stuff, Shea cocoa condition. Okay, it's the daily leave-in conditioner, this stuff, all right, there's the price I pay for it. I'M pretty sure you can get this at your local beauty. Supply store, Walmart may even carry it yeah. So this stuff - and I just spray it on my scalp - and I do this weekly not daily but definitely weekly - to keep my hair and my scalp, nice and moisturized. This is my go-to got ta, have this stuff and to clean my scalp. I also use this Tulio Maajid moisture cleanse, so this is basically a scalp cleanser. I don't shampoo. While I have my breath in I do not know. I don't so to keep my scalp clean. I use this stuff, it's called moisture, cleanse, okay and that's also by taliah waajid, okay, thoroughly cleanses without water stops itch moisturizes and scalp clean scalp and hair between shampoos with peppermint and green tea. So it does definitely have a strong minty scent. If you don't like that, you won't like this, but it definitely does work. I don't have any issues with itching or any of that, while my hair is in the braids, so these are the two products. I totally recommend these. If you are using braids as your protective style, this stuff works. Both of these keeps your hair moisturized keeps your scalp clean all right, so that is the it y'all and just right, quick, because it is another day, another cute t-shirt. Okay, so this one says create it to be noticed. I love this so much. I got this from at a place here in Atlanta called Little Five Points. It was. It came from a boutique down there. Okay, yes, so you are created to be notice. God makes no mistakes here we are, and so that is it. So if you are like me and you want to keep your grades covered, okay and you want to keep your natural hair and protective style, I hope this helped you. I love this so much. It'S so easy, it's definitely my go-to of choice, for you know growing my natural hair and keeping it protected alright job. That is it. I hope you guys enjoyed this. I hope it helped you. I want to say thank you to my new subscribers and, if you are new to this channel, if this is your first time meeting me honey, don't leave without clicking the button come back again and again and again and until the next time Cheers yeah. So the one last thing I had to handle the beat those busted nails. Y'All just saw

Midlife Magic: Hey Honeys! It's time to cover the gray hair. I am not ready to let the grays show. I have been using Clairol Natural Instincts for a long while now. It is a semi permanent color and works really well. I totally recommend it.

Sister Cousins Lifestyle: Cute tees! I love San Francisco . Your braids look great. My grey is so disrespectful that I can’t do braids anymore because the gray pops through at the roots within a week of coloringtfs!
