So, I am not a veteran on this topic, but I am on my second kid and these are some tips and tricks that I have learned to not do or to limit while pregnant. Beside the day-to-day things that weaken our hair, when pregnant, now your hormones and certain vitamins and nutrients are no longer going to replenish you but the baby, now that you are pregnant. So take notes and take heed and try not to make the same mistakes I did :)

Hey guys, this is naturally greer and i am coming to you with hair, no nose while pregnant. Yes, i am pregnant for the second time i am 11 weeks in and i have already gotten the itch to do some of these things. So i am fighting the urge and sharing my tips and tricks with you all. So, if you are pregnant thinking of becoming pregnant um, you know anywhere in the process of pregnancy, uh, pay attention and take key because i've been there. I'Ve done some of these things and i regretted some of them as well, so i'm sharing and hopefully preventing your heart breakage in the process, so my first no-no, while pregnant, will be to limit new products. Yes, one of the things new products may cause skin sensitivities that you didn't know or that you didn't have before um, adding new products to your regimen that are different like way different from whatever you put on your hair before may, cause some issues and problems, rashes And hives and different skin abnormalities due to your hormone shifts are very common. Why you're pregnant? So i would tell you to you know: stick to your staples while you're pregnant as much as you possibly can because of the skin sensitivity too. Washing your hair in the sink is safer than washing it in the tub or shower, and the reason why i will say that is because you will come into contact with less of your skin when you do so washing your hair in the tub like bending over That tub is just uncomfortable for the first part, but washing your hair in the shower. You know whatever you put in your head is going to rinse down on your body and that might not be the best situation if you are, or have skin sensitivities to different things. So just be mindful of that and be careful about that, while you're pregnant. I would limit or try only known, organic or natural products, so what i mean by that is that i would try products that i am familiar with my hair, like certain oils and certain butters, and things like that. So i would try and stick to those things. Those staples while pregnant - i wouldn't buy products like from a small company that i have no idea where they came from, who doesn't even have a website or anything like that. It doesn't have descriptions on their bottles of how to use the product. What'S in it or whatever, that's not the safest thing to do while you're pregnant um, my next tip would be to limit your heat while pregnant your hormone shifts and decrease protein rebuilding that you're having done to each strand of your hair, because you know nutrients and Amino acids and everything else are going elsewhere to do other jobs to prepare for this pregnancy, and this baby will show up in your hair, eventually so just being very sensitive to your hair. Like i said limit the heat, i'm not saying stop heat totally because you know maybe blow drying your hair or straightening it every once in a while is not a problem or issue for you, but i would say during pregnancy those things may change, so you may Just want to be a little bit more cautious about exposing your hair to a certain amount of certain level of heat, while pregnant um, protective styling love it to death, got one in right now um, but you have to be particular about your protective styling, making sure Your hair's not too tight, underneath the protective styling make sure the protective style doesn't stay in too long. That could cause damage and making sure that you're not allergic to the synthetic hair that you're putting in your head to do the protective styling with or the thread or whatever else that they're using to attach the hair to your head. I would stay away from glues or any adhesive type stuff during this process, but like if you're going to crochet in, like this, make sure that you know the hair that you're going to use you've used before. Maybe once again like the products that they're, like not unfamiliar to you, basically another thing with protective styling and making sure that the hair is well moisturized before putting it in. So when i dip my hair or curl the ends of this hair, i added grapeseed oil and olive oil to the water, and i immersed the hair into the water with those oils, and so it helped the hair to be moisturized. Some so that the hair is not stealing moisture from my hair so readily on a consistent basis, and i re-moisturize my hair every day underneath and remember: moisturizing, your hair is more than just adding oil. You have to add some type of water content, so i do my aloe moisturizing spray on my hair first and then i go back and i use the oil to kind of coat it and seal it in, and i also spray this hair down. Maybe every two to three days, which is the olive oil base type spray, just to kind of keep that moisture in it and, like i said before, for it not to steal, moisture from my hair um, no life-changing events for your hair while pregnant. What i mean by that is: try not to use coloring on your hair, especially coloring, that you've never tried before. I don't think it would be the wisest to try like purple or green or blue, or anything like that for the first time while pregnant. I would also eliminate or decrease the amount of cutting that i would do to my hair uh while pregnant. You know if you want to trim your ends or cut a couple inches off. That'S pretty cool uh, but to cut like five and up inches off just because you felt like it or you were hot one day may not be the best decision to make while pregnant, and you probably will regret it after you become not pregnant. So just be mindful of that: try not to make life-changing events to your hair while pregnant and definitely do not perm your hair, yes, being natural, sometimes is aggravating yes being fat because of a pregnancy and not being able to lift your hands up and do certain Things to your hair, it's even more everything while being you know natural, but harming your hair is not going to make it easier. So don't do it if you've already convinced yourself and you've already gone through that process of becoming natural and you've been natural for a period of time going back to a perm, because you're aggravated at that time in your life, with your hair you're, going to make Things 10 times worse, so i would say avoid, like i said, life-changing events for your hair while pregnant it's just not going to work in your favor, so stick to the basics, stick to the staples! Do things that will help your hair grow, protect it along the way you know get rid of it, put it under something. If you feel the need to - and you know, carry out your nine months, get it over with and then jump into whatever you want to. With your hair, i think that is the best advice that i can give any woman who's pregnant thinking about being pregnant. Um or you know the aftermath, so take heed pay attention. If you didn't hear it all, look at it again um this is naturally rare. I would love if you were willing to subscribe like and comment below if you've tried any of these things. If you've made any of these same mistakes that i have made while pregnant, i would love to hear from you. So please leave your comments below and i will see you all in the next video bye.
