Hey guys so today I am going to talk about how I was able to actually grow my hair, while still bleaching it and dyeing it fun, colors and doing all that sort of stuff. If you've been a longtime follower. You know that my hair was stuck at about like this length for a really really really long time. I would say it was at like this one length, because I kept breaking off for probably like four or five years. It was a really really long time, but recently I've made a lot of changes to my hair care routine and really started to take care of it, and it has gotten a pretty long. I would say, and also way way, thicker and healthier. I'M going to try to pop in some sort of time line if I can for like hair growth, but I did wear extensions almost like daily for years and years and years, because my hair was so short, but nowadays I definitely don't wear them daily. I just wear them on occasion when I want my hair to be like ridiculously long. So let's get that montage going. So this is how long it looks from the back, because I know when it's all I push forward. Sometimes you can't tell us much so this is it pretty much all from the back? Hopefully this is all in frame. I can actually like grab it and like touch it now, which is cool, and it goes midway down my back. So I'm just gon na kind of get into my do's and don'ts, mainly don'ts, with my hair and like what I don't do and then I will go over all of the products that I use, because that's probably one of my most asked questions aside from how I groove help in general. I am NOT a hairdresser and I already know a lot of people are probably going to disagree with what I have to say, but oh well, first off I don't cut it ever. I haven't cut my hair and maybe two to three years and the last time I cut it. It was literally like this much of a trim. It really wasn't anything, and I don't know I just found that like trims for me, don't really work. I know that the point of getting a trim is so that your split ends don't just keep splitting and breaking off, which it happens to most people's hair, that don't cut it. You know like it just keeps going up and up and up and that's you know what how people can't grow the hair. Now it stays the same length, thin yada yada. However, that does not happen with my hair. Of course, a little bit breaks off, but I've been able to keep most of it intact and it's actually a pretty good. It'S still really soft and it's like still really flowy and, of course your hair will be healthier like of course, my hair would look and probably feel a lot healthier if I cut it up, probably like here. Probably what technically should be off, but I don't really see that big of a problem with this part still like shiny, and I don't really have that many split ends like looking at them, there's only like a few. They don't that are not like going crazy or anything so yeah. First off I haven't cut my hair in literally years next I bleach my hair. Once a year. You can probably see the fruits. I know that I had grown my last roots out like to here practically. I only bleach my hair once a year, because even if you're only bleaching, your roots bleach will run through your hair and to me it just feels like, even if it's just for like that. Second, and if your hair is really damaged, it's gon na hurt it just running through every like you know, month month and a half just every time you would like you know, do it touch up. I just feel like my hair does so much better when I redo my roots once a year opposed to say doing them like six times a year so yeah, I kind of felt like what was mainly making my hair break was the bleach running through it. Often when I was redoing my roots, so that's why I stopped doing my roots and I actually really like how the roots look on me personally, so I'm not mad at it, but I do not just want to let them grow forever and ever and aside from Doing the roots, I do not at all put bleach on my hair. That is already blonde. I never ever ever do that. When I want to change colors, I will use a color remover, which is way way way less harsh, like I'll, never bleach. This part of my hair ever again because it doesn't need it. It'S already like the white color underneath of this and then the third thing, absolutely no blow-dryer. I will never ever ever blow-dry my hair, unless I am on like a extreme time crunch, where it is detrimental that my hair is dry. So maybe I would touch my hair with a blow dryer like once or twice a year, maybe, but I avoid it. Absolutely all cost, so I can just tell after I blow dry my hair, no matter what I do. It just is crunchy after no matter what - and I also do not use heat very often either. I know my hair almost kind of always looks a little bit of a mess because I really really tried to not put any heat on whatsoever and if I do use heat, I use my straightener on a and low setting and I also will use a setting Spray, this is the one that I like right now it is the Argan hair spray and it is a heat protectant. So I'll use a bunch of this any time I straighten my hair and then like the fourth and final thing before we get on to the products, is I do not wash it very much? There is really nothing better for your hair than like your natural oils. So if you can avoid washing your hair or even putting dry shampoo in that, will help your hair a ton and if I do use dry shampoo, then I will go back and I will put oil at the ends. My hair, just they're, like you, know like this much of it at the bottom, because if I don't want any of the dry shampoo that I put at my roots to dry out the bottoms of my hair, so dry shampoo oil at the ends of your hair. It won't affect like up here as far as product goes. I wasn't too keen on putting a bunch of product in my hair up until like a year or a year and a half ago, and that is why my hair wasn't growing. It was never that damaged. It always looked fine, however, it definitely was breaking off at the ends. I wasn't putting any oil or serums or doing any masks or anything like that. So there's nothing like helping my hair to not break, but now I I do put product in my hair and I put quite a bit of it. So I'm gon na kind of go through everything that I use, and I will also show you using some of it depending on what it is. As far as shampoo and conditioner goes, I used the redkin extreme, shampoo and conditioner. This is for distressed hair, and it says it has a protein complex in it, and this is supposed to help your hair stayed strong and I definitely can tell a difference from when I use this or anything else. This one is really really amazing. My only thing with this one is it: doesn't it doesn't clean my hair as much as I would want it to? If I don't do this one like twice, I'm like really scrub it in sometimes I can get out and there will be like a little bit of oil. Still in my hair, it is not super harsh and that's really good for damaged or dry or distressed hair. So I can see why it wouldn't do that, but just sometimes I do have to add in a little bit of something else to actually make sure minor is clean, especially since I don't wash it that much when I do wash it. I want to make sure that it's like cleaned thoroughly and then I used this Redken extreme anti snap anti breakage leave-in treatment. I use a bunch of the stuff and I feel like it definitely helps my hair sort of stay together. A lot more and I've had a lot less splittin since I've started using this stuff. I use this stuff every single time I get out of the shower without a doubt, and I use a good amount of it and it doesn't leave my hair feeling like there's product or like conditioner or heavy at all. The next thing I'll uses this Finola neutrik hair ten, and this is sort of like a really really thick spray. It doesn't even like swish around, like I have to really get it going for it to move, so I usually just like take it out of the bottle - and this is another like leaving sort of protein reconstructing musk, and this one makes my hair. So so soft and it helps a lot with it being frizzy. And then I use this joique. Okay, Pat color therapy, and this is like a shine and protect spray. And I just use this over with my entirety of my hair with the anti snap and the new trick hair. I only put that at the ends of my hair, to avoid my hair, looking like I haven't washed it, but with this I'll put it over the entirety of my hair, and it just makes it like shiny and it also helps protect color. And then I will use this Oregon hair oil, and with this I will pretty much focus it just like on the very very ends, and then I will kind of just run whatever is left in the rest of my hair. That'S on my hands and this I feel like helps just to keep it hydrated for a really a really long time, and I do reply it probably like once every couple of days or when I use dry shampoo and it looks like I've literally used like nothing But this is like ever since I did that kiss video, which is like two months ago. Maybe I feel like a little bit goes a really long way and before that I was using another sort of coincidentally like orange oil from Finola. By definitely like this one. Better and that's pretty much what I use on my hair on a regular basis. Aside from that, if I feel like my hair's been extra dry or I've been having to put a lot more heat on it, or if I color moved it, then I will use some sort of mask. I like this Coco and Yves one. I did do like a sponsor thing on Instagram for them, but I really did like it and this one like the one you wash it out. You can just feel your hair feels so much better, but I also really like this one. It'S the renewing argan oil of Morocco one and this one I just got at Walmart, and this one is really really good. I use this a lot after I bleach my hair and I feel like it really helps it bounce back and this one's a really really cheap and easily accessible option. I feel like it's nice nowadays, because people will ask me if I'm wearing Jen's and I get to say no, I still wear extensions, sometimes just not super, often or like day to day. So I really don't tie my hair was like to here. So I have like all of this extra kind of like about eight years of growth. Like I had said, and I feel like my hair - looks a lot healthier and way thicker it looked so thin before, but having the darker roots, and just all of this like it just did so much better, so definitely feel free to leave me any questions, comments Or concerns in the comments, so thank you guys so much for watching and I will hopefully see you next time. Bye,

Sophie Louise: My hair is stuck at a length that I HATE I’ve bleached and dyed it so many times and it feels disgusting I’m hoping this video helps

Elisabeth Ghost: This month will be three years that i haven't cut my hair. Everything started by a bad hairdresser experience and now i don't trust anybody to touch my hair exept myself. Honestly, it was the best decision i ever made. Everyone now compliments me about the lenght and the color (i have pastel orange hair and i love them) and i couldn't be happier. My goal is to reach a knee-lenght (at the moment they reach my butt). Trims never worked for me as well. Keep it going, i love you! (sorry if i made any mistakes, i'm italian)

Dose of Chris: I’m really impressed with your hair care routine.... that’s how mines was when I would bleach the crap out of but I went back to my natural color and I have been having the itch to go blonde again lol but really enjoyed your video and your hair looks good keep doing that and it will get super long ☺️☺️

Claudia Lynn: My hair has been stuck at that length for about four years now and it’s so frustrating. Hopefully this helps me out

M.L.E: I was the same about cutting my hair for a long time. It will grow, just not as fast. What I recommend is getting some sharp scissors, and sit in the sunlight where you can realllllly see where your ends are splitting, and just cut the tips off. Im talking like, just the spit end, nothing more. Do that once a month and your hair will grow sooooo fasssst. And tea tree oil guys, its magic.

Suki Senpai: This helped so much. I was having so much problems with my hair because I completely bleached it then I straightened it right after. Biggest mistake. But now I know when I bleach my hair again I’m going to follow this. ❤️

chrissy: I've been following you for a long time now, and WOW girl your hair has improved so much! I'm jealous of your growth!

Little Red Goddess Persephone: I love your hair, it always looks so shiny and I was trying to figure out what you did to make it look so great! Thanks for the video! I have crap hair because of meds and PCOS and would kill for your hair!

Neonblut: Loved your advices! I have short hair so I dont have a problem with damaged hair oder split ends. I would love to have long hair... But my hair is so thin. I envy your hair emily <3

Jessie NoJoke: Folks before you start using a line that has protein in it make sure your not protein sensitive. Protein sensitive people will have the opposite results from Em. I use Redken All Mega soft line. My hair has grown so much. I love the mask & leave in treatment. I bleached my hair then bleach my hair again. It wasn’t the smart thing to do & I knew that. Now I stuck with short hair.

Melanie90r: I love your videos!!! And love your creativity with your nails and hair!!

Alison Roettenbacher: That pink is stunning on you ❤

Alyssa Renee: Do you blend your roots when they start growing out or just leave it as is?! It looks soooo good

Mack Schindler: My hair was stuck at bra length for like 3 years before I chopped it all off. I went from a pixie cut to my hair being past my collar bones in one year. I cut off all the bleached hair and basically restarted. Now it’s so hot here in Florida I’m thinking about cutting it all off again bleach is so awful. The only reason I could see myself using bleach again is to restart my hair with the purple. I’ve used the same color for so long, my hair is basically black now, even when I dye it the purple /:

kitkat97: I swear by the Redken Extreme line! Another great product from the line is the Chemistry shot, that’s an in salon treatment but if your hair is gummy from bleaching it will save your hair. Great tips only thing I disagree with is not trimming your hair for years but if it works for you that’s great

Holly Hadden: You looked so pretty in this video, you should do the natural look more ❤️

indigo: I just dyed my previously pink hair brown again bc whenever I have light hair it just doesn’t seem to grow at all. I don’t know why, I guess it’s like you said with bleach running through your hair when you bleach your roots etc. When I had black hair about a year ago it grew so much, it was shiny and soft and I could never achieve the same thing with lighter hair, no matter how well I took care of it. Guess it just isn’t meant to be but I’m fine with it! Anyway, your hair color is so cute!! I personally think pink hair with dark roots looks a lot better, I feel like without roots it can tend to look like a wig, depending on the shade. But that’s probably just me lol

Noah Wheeler: hey i recently (yesterday) discovered rice water. its supposed to have alot of protein in it, helps thicken your hair, grow longer and just make it alot better in general. i havent tried it yet but im going to start! maybe itll work for you too! do your research first though cause if its too concentrated it can have a reversing affect and dry our your hair <3

Brionna Gray: I know you don't like these comments or care but im gonna say it anyway cause I love your videos and want to help you lol. Everything you use on your hair is amazing except the argon oil! It's a big gimic. It pulls moisture out of your hair so you have to keep using it!

Maria Thelin: I haven't used any colourthingys in about a year (except yesterday when i did a bleachbath to get out some stubborn blue) and This summer my straightener blew up (legit just bsuted into flames) and it's been so nice just braiding it and trying to get my curls back. Oh, an a deepcondition thingy with coconut oil/ some other oil,, Hopefully it'll grow a lot faster now that I'm taken in your tips and such haha Xx

CosmicEntity: Also never cut my hair and it was working for me 4 a while but the whispy end situation just gets worse and worse, half to an inch every 3/4 maybe 5 months really makes a difference + ur hair still grows

gabby127: I tried to minimize washing my hair as much as possible for years, but my hair just gets wait too oily for me to even go any longer than 2 days. This includes using dry shampoo, nothing helps.

Emily Paul: Awh. I love your hair. It's very unique and you. I also love the dark roots with the color.

callista: Your hair is beautiful. ❤️ Really helpful video though!!

Anna Marie: THIS! Will help me so much because I absolutely love dyeing my hair but I want that nice mermaid length without having the ends break off lol

HaleyQuinn: I do all of this but im on my second bleaching, i straighten my hair when i feel. I wash it 2 times a week and use dry shampoo a heap and oil

Maria Thelin: A lil weird question: do you ever feel worried about your gauged ears snapping? Because I'm at 18mm and I want to get to 23mm but my ears are really small, and I always worry about them snapping. The lobe itself is thick and all but still lol

Cay Taylor: Always love watching your videos!

jay jay: LITERALLY YOU ARE MY GOALS IN LITERALLY EVERY CATEGORY ❤️

Kayla Morgan: Careful using to much protein, while it is really good for your hair too much can be bad and leave your hair brittle and breaking. Just do your own research on adding protein to your hair! It should be used once or twice a month depending on how often you wash your hair!

El ⭐: I love Kerastase by L'Oreal. Their leave in treatments make my hair lush.

Post By Aless: I'd also like to add avoid shampoos and conditioners that have sulfate. Sulfate dries the crap out of your hair

Illyasviel: i'm using kerastase and shu uemura products for years and years now, cutting my hair off every time i see breaking in the ends, but still i am also stuck at one length. so i am very excited, if this video will help me.

Riley F: My issue is I have to blow dry my hair with a smoothing serum because if I just let it air dry you can see how severely damaged it is :/

Pogo The Clown: I love your hair, I want the same length! You're beautiful!

Pam Sawatzky: You're gorgeous I love your hair !!!

Guadalupe Saldana: I haven’t watched any of your videos in so long and I just wanted to say that you look so much more comfortable in front of the camera now! I hope you and David are doing fine and I hope you’re enjoying Portland! I love your personality! Im glad you’re still doing videos! :) Your hair looks great!

Lauryn Hamilton: I wonder if you've tried Garnier whole blends? I got a sample of their shampoo and conditioner and I loved it so I bought some. SO far so good, smells good and feels great but something inside me feels like it's probably actually horrible for my hair because I just am always concearnes. My hair is down to my butt at the moment and would like to keep it that way. About a year ago I had it cut shoulder length due to mid life crisis. (I'm 17. Guess I'll live to the ripe old age of 34)

Krys: Same i never really cut my hair but what I do is have a decent pair of scissors and whenever im bored or watching tv i just sit and search for split ends to cut off and that on its own makes my hair feel better

goosejail: Biotin helped my hair with breakage. I lose a lot less hair also. My hair is fairly thick on it's own but now its like pregnant level thick. Too bad it usually lives in a bun on top of my head

Kirsten Nadinee: I honestly thought i was the only one who didn't cut their hair! I feel like if I keep cutting it it will always be in the same spot and never get longer.

Stephanie: I need my hair to be moisturized and be super soft like how it used to be. What can I do to get my hair back to being super soft whenever I touch it?? Thanks!!!

Raychel Ciaramitaro: I LOVE YOUR HAIR THIS COLOR WOW

Kristina Moor: Absolutely loved the new ending babes x

SweetieSnooki: Love your eyebrows ♥️

patchie: I wish i could bleach my hair once a year too,but the last 12 months i cut them often and the last 8 months i keep them short so if let my hair grow and cut them whenever i felt like it very short again i would not have any hair i could dye without bleaching it

alicia j: Omg thank you I've needed this

Ashley Valentine: Off topic, I feel like we would have been really good friends back in the cringy days. Lol you are so soothing.

Karen Hayward: Mine grows nicely when i stopped using heat and dying it.

Sugar LivingMyBestLife: Great thank you for sharing

Danielle Durbin: Your hair is beautiful white omg I usually hate the color on anyone I saw ur pic n omg ur amazing beautiful at pulling it off I just adore u bby

Yosh Sea: Definitely going to pickup some of the products you used

Marie Beauty and Makeup: Which color remover do you use ???

karlie ree: where did you get the kiss oil?? ive been using marc anthony coconut oil but its very hard to get

Metal Melissa: Sweet, another video!! Ur hair loox amazing, full & long!! My hair is thin, I'm going to try some of the products u mentioned I need my hair long & full I did buy expensive extensions the thinnest one they had & u could see the clips when the girl finished putting them in

ghoulbunny: I wish I didn’t have to use heat but I have the frizziest tangled hair that I have to blow dry and and straighten constantly :(

Samantha Collins: Ps you make me want to do my own nails soooo bad but I’m scared lol!!!

zombie doll: lol same shit with my hair. stuck at the same lenght for years now. Everyone seems to have it easy with (dyed) black hair, mine just refuses to grow. And all that chemical products make it even worse for my hair

madi lol: ayy i just got my hair dyed pink a couple weeks ago!

Chakka Chewy: Love the color! What did you use?

Stephanie: My hair is stuck at being kinda short and it grows super super duper slow...

Anahy Castro: When you know the last product and believe in it

Andy Beers: Supppper cute hair, suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper cute nails

Samantha Collins: So I have a couple questions.... I usually wash my hair every few days, how often do you wash your hair ? And when you’re in the shower do you always get your hair wet ? My hair is SUPER damaged and I recently had to dye it 3 times in one month because of a job. Soooo I’m fucked, every time it gets wet but I don’t put shampoo in it it feels so gross and most of the time it feels really bad when I wash it too. And if I don’t wash it it just gets really ratty even when I brush it every day and it’s hellllla poofy if I brush it. I do not want to cut off my hair and so I’ve been trying to do things that are inexpensive but good for my hair like I essentially stopped straightening and I stoped washing except every 5 days or so and I do a couple DIY masks in a month but I’m so scared it’s really bad . I’m gonna be able to start investing in my hair care again and I really want to do this because your video was AMAZING and your hair looks AMAZING! So I just want to know how often you do all of these things lol sorry this is so long

Shayne: What color remover do you use?

Allie Fritzyface: Too much protein can actually cause breakage.

Jasmine c: Whats the name of the dye you use cause it's cute

Faith Baldwin: Right now my hair is falling out. Its weird? I have not bleached in over a year and a half and i have not cut it in 2 years. I don’t use hair dryers or flat irons or anything that will put heat on my hair. I wash my hair every 2-3 days. Im not sure if it is just stress, or something else ? Im looking to see if maybe you (or anyone else reading) know what could cause that or if there is something to help?

Victor Alvarez: Can you try pinky color mood switch

Alyssa: ♡♡♡♡

Translate to any Language: Good

Lydia Rouse: Hiii I’m early xx

Love Yourself: Holy fuck those eyelashes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are they

Sarah Maslanka: Hello video time

BlooHatesYou: Wish you were cruelty free, I need cruelty free options..
