Hey friends! In this video tutorial I go step-by-step to explain to you all how I refresh my colored hair while at home! I LOVE color refresh shampoos but I find there is a bit of a learning curve to them, and in this video I tell you all my tricks that I have picked up as a professional. Let me know in the comments down below if you have any questions! If you have ever used a product like this before, how was your experience? I would love to know.

Hey everyone, it's Jen and welcome back to my channel. I am very excited to share this with you guys, because today I am going to show you how I like to maintain my bright vivid hair while at home now. I know there's many ways to go about this, but one of my favorite ways is to use a color shampoo. Almost every time I wash just to maintain that brightness that I'm always looking for. Clearly, as you can see, my hair is up in a hot mess. Right now, I've been trying to keep it up and out of my face, but today is hair washing day. My hair is extremely faded out. So I figured this is the perfect time to show you guys how I like to do this, but the star of the show today is going to be a product that I absolutely love by a company called celeb luxury, and the shampoo is called viral. Now kind of a funny name considering the times right now, but you know what we're gon na go ahead and skip over that. But the shampoo is called viral and I'm using it today in extreme blue. So if you guys want to see how I use this to maintain my bright colored hair then keep on watching. So the first step is to brush out this mop, I'm going to be using my wet brush. I love this thing. It'S going to help detangle my hair without causing any type of breakage, because these bristles are so nice and soft they're not going to rip through my hair, so number one brush your hair out. My hair is extremely faded. I have not colored my hair in a really long time, so all the blue has not faded out. It'S actually a lot of purple in my blue formula. You can still see a little bit of the purple coming through and that's just gon na help maintain my fade to be on the cooler side. The first thing I'm gon na do is wash my hair and make sure it's really clean before we use the viral shampoo. During this initial cleansing, I highly recommend using a type of clarifying shampoo. I use a lot of dry shampoo, so you just want to make sure that it's all nice and clean and ready to go for the color I'll, be right back with freshly white hair and clearly this is all going to be happening in the shower. So don't do what I'm doing and do this in the sink. What I like to do is I'll take a towel kind of just near the shower, so I can just reach in and grab it and kind of soak up any type of additional water. That'S in there and I will just take my fingers to just finger detangle it a little bit. I'M gon na separate my hair out into half and don't worry about the tangles and stuff we'll take care of all of that later. If you would like, you can actually use some gloves, but I'm using again the extreme glue viral shampoo. I like to get a good big blob of it on my hand, spread it around and I'm going to scrunch it into the ends. First, since my roots are already cleaned, we don't need to worry about that, so I scrunch it around and I get rid of it and then I grab a little bit more and do it again all through the ends. I would also advise you to take this time to clean up around your hairline, because it will stain your skin for a little bit. It stains my hands, but it's fine it'll come off after I wash a couple more times. I typically will leave the suds and the shampoo in my hair put a big clip in it and use the rest of this time to exfoliate shave wash my body whatever it is. You need to do the trick to helping this buildup color faster. Is it's actually not how long you leave it on for it's about rinsing and repeating it again and again I like to do this about once or twice a week. I only need to shampoo and suds up one time, but since it's clearly been a while, since I refreshed my color - and this is my first wash - I'm actually going to rinse it out and do it again, so I'm gon na go ahead and rinse this out. Now and do wash number two now, I'm gon na go ahead and wash out round number two. Any type of shampoo like this. That'S going to deposit color, it's going to make our hair feel a little bit more dry. So I highly recommend using this time to do some type of moisture treatment and hydration treatment right after something like this. I'M gon na go wash this out and I'll be right back. So I just finished washing out that second coat of color and then I finished it off with a moisture treatment just to rehydrate my hair, so just squeezing out the moisture little by little, and I can already tell that my hair looks a lot brighter already and It'S still wet, I'm gon na go ahead and dry. This really quick. So I can show you guys. The final results well here are the results of my color wash. I am absolutely loving the color. It looks so much better. It'S refreshed it's bright. So just a reminder: I went ahead and first clarified my hair to make sure it was really nice and clean. You want to make sure there's no product billed about your scalp or product, build up throughout the Strand, make sure you get your hair really clean or use a clarifying shampoo before you get started once you clarify and clean that hair really good, I went ahead and Did two rounds of wash with the extreme blue color wash I want to let you guys know that the best results that you're gon na get from something like this is to shampoo your hair, rinse it out and then repeat again, two possibly three times depending on The results you're looking for you could leave it in your hair for five to ten minutes, but I find it's better. If you rinse and repeat, and then after I washed my hair twice, I did a deep hydrating treatment in the shower and then once I got out of the shower, I went ahead, use the viral Xtreme, smoothing styler in my hair. Before I blow dried and Flatiron it, I also wanted to mention to you guys that this video is not at all sponsored these two products I did purchase with my own money. I just wanted to give a shout out to salute luxury and viral for creating such an awesome product line that I love the days of ice-cold, showers and color. Hold showers are officially over now that I have this product in my life. So if you guys have any more questions regarding what I did today make sure you leave a comment down below. Also, if you like this video, please make sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe just to, let me know that you guys are liking.
