Ask Abi: Even a former CIA Chief of Disguise said that this was one of the best disguises she had seen because she changed her hair colour drastically and became the new persona with the confident walk and prominent chewing of gum. She then also distracted the airport check-in lady by sweet-talking/complimenting her on her "popping" lipstick. By doing this it meant that the lady only focused on what she wanted her to. She even went on to declare that this scene was that good, that they could have used it as a training video. Considering this is the first episode of Alias, that is impressive and shows that the team really did their research.
