Toning Brown Hair At Home | Matrix Dark Envy | Julia Friedman

Hi guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm going to be toning, my hair from home I've just spent the day in the Sun by the pool in the pool. My hair is turning all sorts of reds and oranges, so I thought this would be the perfect time to show you some of the products that I've been using to tell my hair during quarantine. So matrix has a collection that is called the total results collection. These are the dark Envy products and they come in different color lines as well. If you have different colored hair, but this is the red neutralization mask and then this is a shampoo and conditioner which all smell actually really good. So this is my current hair stitch. So my hair is super dirty and crazy, but, like you can see, there's a lot of like orange and red running through it, because I previously have colored my hair and I usually have to go to the hair salon to get a toner every few months. Just because the dye that I use to get my hair back to my regular color starts to fade and it even fades quicker during the summer. So if you're like me and have red undertones, definitely try out these products, I'm actually going to do the mask before I get into the shower I've seen a lot of people do like purple shampoos before they get into the shower as a toner. During this time - and I figured that's - actually a really good idea to do with the masks, so you definitely want to wear gloves, because I did this once in the shower without gloves and it stained my hands. So, there's that it's green to help like neutralize the Reds, I'm gon na apply a very generous amount. You can always add more. Actually, I'm just gon na add more now, because I don't want to touch this after that. Much and I'm gon na rub my hands together and I'm really only going to focus it on the spots that have more red and orange so, like this whole front, section honestly, okay, so I actually still got some of this mask on my hands. Hopefully it'll wash off, but it took a little while to come off last time and I just didn't want to mess up my nails this time and it does warn you to our gloves. So it says to apply to the wet hair and scalp area. I have a dry scalp that irritates easily, so I just wanted to focus there like towards the mid section and ends, and I'm gon na leave this on for five minutes. Okay, so I have this mask all over me. I'M hoping it comes off. I'M gon na jump in the shower wash it out and I'm gon na use the shampoo and conditioner afterwards and then I will blow out my hair really quick and show you the finished result all clean and showered. It came out purple like when I washed out in the shower and didn't stain on my skin last time. I used this mask. It was in the shower, so this is the first time I've ever used it on dried hair, so excited to see. If it worked. It'S magic, okay, hair has been towel drying and I figured I would keep on my same job for some consistency and I'm just gon na rub dry it with my Dyson air wrap. This thing is amazing. I will link it below. I barely ever blow-dry my hair, but what I do like this takes literally no time so can I do this real, quick so with the era you're not just to put any product in your hair, because it apparently disrupts its whole process. But now my hair is a little bit more dry and I'm gon na take the round brush attachment and section my hair, and to also can we just like come in myself for not wearing any makeup during this whole video, it's a bit different and hard. For me, but honestly, I just wasn't in the mood to put makeup on and my skin is looking pretty good lately, so I just figured why not so with the round brush attachment, I like to take like a two inch section of hair put my brush under It and blow away from me and then I'll set the curl with a cold shot and it just comes out like really natural and nice-looking. So for the front section I like to take the front pieces. So I'm just going to take my Arab on the hot setting and blow up like this hold it here and then put the cold setting on okay. Now the moment you've all been waiting for, there's literally no orange, it's still a little little bit red, but this mask really does work. Klink, you saw my hair before and now it looks like this yeah. I would definitely recommend it like. I said it comes in different colorways like if you have blonde hair like bleach blonde hair or if you have like balayage more sandy blonde hair.
