Dying My Thick Natural Brown Hair Black With Overtone

I would tell you what i'm gon na do, but why didn't? I just show you so yeah, i'm gon na do the overtone thing and, as you can see here, i have chosen what is it rich black rich black coloring conditioner? I actually just got off the phone with my mom and i did not tell her that this is what i was doing. I don't know why that made me so nervous. The last time i dyed my hair was when i was 17 and i dyed my hair blonde. My friend peter did it. It was really bad. We didn't even have enough money to get toner after borrowing money from his dad to try and finish the look. It was very yellow either way. I did that without telling her to and when i showed her, i came into her room the night after, like the night we had done it. I went into a room and she had fallen asleep with the tv on and i stood in front of the tv and i had this red hood on and i was like mom mom mom and i woke her up and they said mom. I dyed my hair blonde with peter tonight and i took off the red hoodie and like in the blue glow of the tv. I must have just looked like horrifying to her and mom. I love you like. This is a funny story to people, but she did say you and then i went to bed really upset. So i think i'm like it's funny now and it was funny at the time like i'm, probably the only person who never thought it was funny, but long story, short uh right here in this box from overtone, i have two of the rich black coloring conditioners. They have the rich black daily conditioner and i also have the little remedy colorless conditioner, that i got because i spent a certain amount of money and overtone set not only these plant-based latex free, which is good for me. If you know what i mean disposable gloves. Okay, we got those and i also got a poster like i'm, a part of the mary kate nation fan club or something and uh. This is made of 100 recyclable paper and it's like oh my. It'S got like zoomer millennial like marketing all over it anyway. So there's a nice blue color inside of the box, so that's nice and essentially i chose black for a lot of reasons. I think it's going to be the most i have virgin hair, so i think it's going to make the most powerful impact as far as the overtone selection goes, and the reason i chose overtone is this: is a non-permanent dye non-damaging to the hair just to read A couple of the ingredients there's a chocolate cereal oil, shea butter and coconut some kind of fruit, oil, sesame oil, linseed, guar, spearmint, rosemary long story short like there is a lot of alcohol in this product, but i'm guessing something needs to penetrate the follicles. I don't know how this science works, but either way the point is i'm just gon na get into the look i'm about to have my share moment. My friend i was talking to you today. Children are perfect works of art, which is understandable because we are, but at the same time, like my mom in my mind, has black hair. The instructions are really easy. I just cover my hair. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then i rinse out with warm water, so join me in the bathroom. Do look at this, so, oh my god! So here we are, i don't know, i guess we'll wait for this to dry. Okay, so it's the next day - and here we are so honestly - this is inky black to me like, oh, my god, it's really patchy. I have really thick hair. This is my hair, no styling all right, just dried after i rinsed all the product out, i'm not a hair dye person. I don't know the world. I stained my tub, i didn't know what i was doing like i do want to fully commit to the look. So, thank god i got two of the conditioners tonight later we're gon na rectify the root situation, because even the patchiness, the patchiness - i i'm not too upset about the patchiness down here, but i am upset about how like weirdly red this is it's like pink up Here, which is weird because my tub was dyed, blue and i don't understand color theory as it applies to hair follicles. So please forgive me brad mondo, if you're watching, i hope, you're at least laughing right now, because you know i am on the inside. In a little on the outside anyway round, two: let's go okay, so what's the deal, let's just have a very real conversation, so this looks like um jk, so this area here is where we need to do the work right so that how are we gon na? Do it do you just take a bunch and grab it in there? No, and then do here here here so should i just do this? Can you tell on camera like what we're even talking about because, like that com, you could even see like the that, even in your in the ends, there is still some yeah. I know of your natural color showing through which is wild. I don't know exactly what i did wrong so so was that good? It was a good flip, yeah all right. Well here we are second round and we're pretty much dry here. This is how i wear my hair pretty much every day. I really need to invest in a hair straightener, because i think this would look. I mean i think the intended look with this kind of hair is definitely to get that sleek sleek hair. So i'm going to do that one day, um, but yeah. Is it picking up on camera that it my roots just still didn't really completely take the dye um yeah a little bit um? Well, they didn't that's. Okay. I still think like it's effective and i only used half of this. Well, maybe like a third of this um to touch up the roots, so i'll have to do that again sometime soon, i'm not too mad about it. So will i use overtone again. That'S gon na be a no from me dog, but only because again like i'm. Just not the one to for this product. I do think, however, if you have fine hair um, it's a different story, because i do believe like if i had fine hair, that this would have gone much easier for me, but because my hair is so thick. I just don't recommend it for the thick uh girls out there with the natural hair um, but i'm sure if i had bleached hair, that this would have also gone completely differently and the color result would be different. But all that being said, i do feel like you know, satisfied. What do you think then yeah i like it yeah and i think it's gon na be cute and yeah.
