Hey guys welcome back to my channel. It has been a very long time since i've done a hair video i feel like um, but i wanted to film this process that i'm doing because i'm switching hair dyes, so, as you guys can see my roots are grown out, and the bottom of my hair Is just fading out, it looks like a really, i don't know faded red ish color, it's not cute at all um. So it's just like from mid hair to the ends it's like red and then the top is just my roots, so i have been using ion color brilliance and i really love that dye. I feel like it's not very damaging or anything, but i'm switching it up to this brand. I don't know what it's called, but you can get it at target. Walmart, um, cbs, amazon, i'll link it down below. If you guys want me to, but it's a dark chocolate brown and i decided to get try this brand because it has no ammonia, no silicone, no alcohol. It'S supposed to be really good for your hair and it says it has like a nourishing formula with botanical oat milk, so soy protein and argan oil, and i really like it because it says it's really good for covering grays and i'm pretty sure i'm gon na Get there soon i haven't seen any, but you never know like you might not be able to see the back of your hair so yeah. So, basically, i'm going to try this dye and um just to give it a change and again it seems like it's healthy and it's ten dollars. So it's not like a big like it's actually a little bit more pricey than the ion, but once you combine it with the developer, it comes up to the same price and this one. You know it just comes with everything so, basically putting on the gloves and the mixture is self-explanatory. You guys like it's all in the box, if you've ever dyed, your hair with drugstore dye, that's literally what it is um and i really like the tip. I don't know if you guys saw like it kind of it's, not like the other one where you have to cut it off with the scissors you just kind of twist it off. So i really like that it makes it easier. So i'm just gon na go ahead and comb, my hair just to make sure there's no knots and it makes it easier for when i'm dyeing my hair and i'm just going to section it off and start with the roots. Because i have a lot of hair. Um, i'm concentrating the first bottle. I got two bottles and i know my hair is short, but i have a lot of it. So basically i'm using the first bottle and i'm just going to apply it on all of my roots. I really want to make sure i don't miss any roots um, so i'm going to i'm going to start from my roots till about not even halfway just a little bit above that and i'm just going to try to drag it down as much as i can. But again, i'm really concentrating on the roots first, because the roots are super um, basically virgin hair right and i'm doing like a darker color. But i really want to make sure i saturate my roots first and then the rest of my hair, because it's been bleached before um. That'S why it kind of like fades so quickly compared to like the the roots of my hair. But this is supposed to be like a dark chocolate brown like a darker brown, so i feel like it's gon na cover the ends of my hair. Pretty quickly, like you shouldn't, you know, take too much, so that's why i'm just focusing on my roots first and then, once all my roots are covered, i go ahead and start taking the dye down. I start applying it from the mid length until the ends and i just go through it to make sure i'm not missing any spots, as you guys can see like i'm just kind of massaging it through um, just to make sure that i really apply it evenly And i put my hair up right after i'm done with that and, as you guys can see, it looks really red, like the roots. Look really red um. This is better lighting but yeah. So i was a little worried because it just seemed like it was just like a red and i was like i don't want a red i want. Like i mean, i wanted a reddish brown right, but it kind of looked like it was just picking up the red and i'm like. Oh my gosh um. You know like red fades so quickly, so i was hoping it was going to get just a little bit. Darker, so this was um, i believe, right after i applied it and i'm just kind of waiting for it to start getting darker and, as you guys can see, this is like right before my shower, so after 30 minutes and then after i washed it off. This is the next day i just straightened it um. Well i styled it and then this right here is a week after i've dyed it. So i've washed it about four times since i dyed it because i do wash my hair pretty often so it's been after four washes. This is what it looks like. So it's it looks really good. It looks super shiny, it's so soft. It looks like you know. Glossy it looks, vibrant the color is perfect and i thought it covered really well and, as you guys can see, my fingers run really smoothly through my hair. It does honestly feel healthier than it was before i dyed it and i didn't really apply any much product to it. All i did was shampoo it and conditioned it and just put a leave-in conditioner, and i just blow-dried it. That'S it and it looks super shiny again. It'S super soft and the color is really nice. It is a tad darker than i thought it was going to be, but yeah - and here this is about um - seven washes seven or eight washes, so you guys can see. The color is not fading, like it's pretty much staying on there now it does again look a little bit darker than what i thought it was going to be. So i am going to add some like caramel or brunette, like like really light brown highlights to it. Just to break the the color and give it some dimension so stay tuned for that video, and i will see you guys next time bye, you
