I feel like i belong in like a little 80s movie, hello, everyone. Some of you have requested to see how i style the shag. How do i curl my hair? How do i get it to look the way that it looks? How do i color my hair products? Do i use i'm here to say first of all thank you that is so kind. Second of all, i'm going to show you how look at my hair, if you've ever guessed, that i have like very fine straight hair. You said yes, then i have struggled for years with what i wanted my hair to look like. I have very, very fine straight hair that doesn't really hold curls much, and i have always struggled to get the perfect haircut. The perfect hairstyle i recently just went back to more of my natural color and i'm loving it. So i want to come on here today. Teach you how i do it tell you right now that some of my biggest hair inspirations are orion carlotta i'll, put some more pictures on the screen of what was in, like my pinterest board, of what i wanted my hair to always look like anyway. Stick around for this video, if you want to learn how i style my shag, what are my tips and tricks, my little secrets and uh so that you can have a shag too? Shags are superior right now everyone needs a shag in their life or a mullet. Shagger mullet just saying i love myself, would you believe that i cut and dyed my own hair, because i wouldn't i did want to mention that today's video is sponsored. So thank you so much functional beauty for sponsoring today's video. I have been loving function of beauty since the beginning of this year. These are the new bottles that they send me that i have been loving just to show you that i actually do use functional beauty products. These are my bottles that i am still working on. Function of beauty is customized, hair care that is made just for you, which is really interesting, because i always struggled with getting some products or anything that was customizable to my specific hair like normally. I would have to go to the store and then i would have to pick out like what kind of shampoo and conditioner would be best for my hair type, and it was so easy because i could just go. Take the quick quiz for my hair tell them what i wanted in my products and a star is born, so my hair profile would be categorized as straight fine and normal. I have like a little cute sheet with all the ingredients and what my hair care does for me. So the goals that i chose for my products were color protection, because i do dye my hair to hydrate it give it shine, strengthen it and volumize. Clearly, the scent that i've been loving is nude peach. I love it. I am also a very very big fan of functional beauty's hair serum, which i have been using since springtime, and i've only gone through this much. But i use it every single day, as well as their hair mask, which i use in the shower, and that is amazing. That has really transformed my hair, because my hair was dry and dead before just from bleaching it and now i feel like it's at a really healthy point. I think it's also cute about how customizable it is because they come with cute little winter stickers. I have a little sticker that says spicy on my shampoo. I like that and while my nickname is nikki nasty and it says it on the bottles um, i don't like nasty ingredients in my products, which is why i'm really happy because function, beauty, never uses parabens. Sulfates gmos, toxins and it's 100 vegan and cruelty free, which is very important to me as a vegan since i've been raving about function, beauty for so many months now. Maybe i've convinced you. So if you do want to get some function of beauty, you can get 20 off of your first set if you just click the link in my description. Thank you so much for watching beauty for sponsoring. Today'S video seem like the last or, like the very last, like you look ugly, your hello, i have like 30 minutes until my zoom class. I still do my hair presume, even though i sometimes don't even turn on my camera. Who cares? Let'S take it to my bedroom, i'm going to take my products with me. Let'S go, ladies, like a lot of like twitch streamers are maybe not hello, i'm dewyer and ready for the day and 15 minutes to spare before my class. Whenever i'm drying my hair, i always use these microfiber towels. I did not say that correctly: microfiber towels, microfiber micro, microfiber, microfiber towels. I got the goods okay, so quick little detail. I usually wash my hair at night on the days, i'm not washing my hair. I put these two products in it. Let'S just say i wash my hair on a tuesday night wednesday night. I will do this at night and then put my hair in a braid just like protect it. While i sleep this is the ordinary multi-peptide serum for hair density? Does this work? Maybe i don't use it consistently enough to 100 tell um, so you just apply this to your roots and then at my ends i will apply argan oil of morocco, weightless heating, dry oil, i'll just spray this into my hands and then put it at the ends Of my hair, my hair is naturally dark brown, but i have been bleaching it since last summer, or so so, underneath this color is very, very bleach blonde hair. I'M going to insert a picture right here of what hair dye. I use the first step that i do when my hair is damp. I take the function of beauty, hair, serum one pump and that's all you need, so i rub that between my hands. I only put this at the ends of my hair, i'm so happy how long this has lasted me and the scent of it is amazing, and it reminds me of the start of quarantine and makes me kind of nostalgic. That'S really weird one of the reasons i really really like this room is because it protects you up to 400 degrees, fahrenheit of heat, and i do use heat on my hair. So i'm going to use a blow dryer now, because i hate damp hair, there's something about it. That makes me feel so vile. I could leave my hair just like this. Have it straight for the day, i'm not the biggest fan of it spice it up got a lot of questions about my haircut. I got it myself. I just kind of followed a shag hair tutorial how to cut it yourself. Is it perfect? No, absolutely not do i like it, yes, but the trick is, is to have really really short layers at the top. That'S what helps you like when you actually curl your hair, to make it nice big and fluffy. So what i'm currently doing right now is heating up my baby-less curling iron right around, where my eyes are, and i will start to pin my hair back i'll just grab. One of these butterfly clips literally stole those from my mom, but it's okay, because they're in style now my hair stylist taught me this trick. It'S not a trick. It'S a method, i'm not the best at explaining things, i'm not a teacher, i'm not a beauty guru, but i am nikki nasty and i'm going to teach you something today. So take your curling iron, where the clamp is facing outward very rude right now. Please no emergencies, while i'm curling my hair, so you want to grab your hair kind of at the out. I just so you take it kind of at the base and you want to curl inward, so you're always curling away from your face, but curling inward. That way, does that make sense just follow what i'm doing you want to slowly like open the clamp and roll up and keep going until you have like about an inch of hair just peeking out, because i don't want to curl my ends and then slowly release And then you'll have that but don't brush it through just let it go and do your entire head, i kind of learn by seeing and doing so. Hopefully you have that same method of learning. So now i'm going to do all of my hair and pay attention in my zoom call we're getting to that time where we're we're in the end, um and okay. Bottom layer is completely done and usually when i get to this part, i want to do my bangs now it kind of sucks, because i have to introduce a whole new hot tool just to do my bangs, but this has been like trending around on tick tock, But my mom has owned this since forever, so i just steal it and i will simply just take my bangs and i'll put it usually on the low setting. No, it doesn't work. Oh my bangs are kind of cute. What the heck and now we're going to go back to curling when i do get to this top layer, though i do try and emphasize most of my time to them. These are the pieces that will give you that volume and that real shag look that you're. Looking for anyway, i'm going to continue because i look like the brush right now when it comes to my bangs, i will treat it exactly the same way as i treat these short layers, and i will start at the bottom and also leave out a little bit Of space and that's what happens to my base once it's all curled, this is my hair, because my hair is so flat and so straight and so fine, i do have to add some product to give it texture. This is not the end-all be-all of products. I'M definitely in the market to look for some new ones, but i'm just trying to use up what i have right now. The first thing that i'll do is i'll. Take this design line powder booster volumizer, so the directions are to just gently tap it on your roots. So i will just like take a small chunk like a small layer, and i will tap this product right at my roots. This i'm not gon na lie. It'S not a good feeling product, but look how it works chalky. It feels uh, not so silky smooth, but it gives me exactly the look that i want, so i just kind of sacrifice: there's probably better products out there, but once again, this is something i stole from my mom. Do you see the difference with just me doing it on this side and not doing it on this side? So then, after that's done my hands feel disgusting. Then i will take this sgx nyc. They do it all three in one dry, texture, spray volume refresh plus hold lightly put it in my hair. It also smells amazing, so that's a plus and then to finish off the looks that my hair actually stays all day. I am definitely in the market for a different hairspray, but once again i steal what is in my house: okay, it's the tresemme dress to spray extra hold number four, whatever that's enough, and that is how i fake having volume in my hair i'll give you a 360 of my hair. Now you can see like more dimension with it. How do i turn around and no one would ever know that i have very fine, thin straight no volume, looking ass hair. Thank you for sticking around to the end of this video. I know not: everyone cares about my hair care or how i do my hair or any of that i had a lot of fun following this video. I hope this helped someone. So if you like this video, you can definitely leave it a like, because, obviously it's so much and also comment. If you have any product recommendations because, like i said i am in the market for a better hairspray, better volumizer make sure that you subscribe. If you want to be nasty, if not you're disgusting also make sure i have your bell notifications on so you know every single time i post, or else you are gross. If you want to follow me on my other social media like instagram, twitter, depop, spotify, it's just at nicole raffi, if you want to follow me on my tech talk - is that nikki nasty i'm going to go now. I need to go pitch to my zoom class. So bye, [ __ ]

rogue&jade&NT 4ever: Omg is this just me or is she SOOOO UNDERRATED? I am not kidding, I don't think that she gets what she deserves. The way she talks, the way she makes some jokes... It is really special. And she is way more better than lots of verified youtubers that doesn't have interesting/important/fun content. P.s. if you're seeing this Nicole I really wanna say that you look like Leighton Meester in my opinion.

andymoss: Your hair profile sounds like what I told myself in the mirror everyday during high school: straight, fine, normal.

Anika Kompella: ur 100% a main character in an 80's or 90's movie, or like someone on the side who becomes a main character (Wait HOLY SHIT HOW DID I NOT SEE THE QUEEN HER SELF AND 1.3K OTHER PEOPLE LIKED THIS EIJDLSKJDGKDG)

Sophie Graham: Just me, a British girl, knowing that ‘shag’ in British slang means far from a style of haircut and hearing her say ‘everyone needs a shag’ had me dying ahahha

I give this a 10/10 even though I lack luscious locks. If any of my friends complain they lack shag, I'll point them to where they can get their shag. Is it really called shag or is that just a Nicole term? Okay, it's a real term.
