Hey everyone welcome back to the channel. Thank you so much for being here today. We'Re gon na be listening to you guys and you guys wanted to see a shorter version of a wolf cut. There'S loads of longer wolf cuts all over the internet, but i think you lose a lot of the uh, the definition or the severity, but also the softness. When you go too long. I think it just looks a little bit there, but today i'll be showing you one. That is a lot shorter, something around about here. Um opening up the face loads of texture and also a question i get asked was, if i could put in a blunt line down the bottom, they would prefer then it all sort of straggly. Now that is the the sort of trend with the shag, the mullet. The wolf cut they're all very um organic raw soft edges, frayed edges, but today i'm going to put a stronger line in down the bottom and i'm also going to do a shorter wolf cup for you. So i'm going to be doing something as if i was doing it in the salon. So i have got my mannequin wet, but it is super simple, two sections um and then we'll bring it forward for you guys to just to follow along. So, let's get into the haircut. So what we're going to do is we're going to do a central section down the head so straight down there to the nose. Let'S hope that's scented, not quite there we go so we're gon na put in we're gon na put in a central section through there. So so simple from the high point of the head straight through the middle, then what we're going to do is we're going to find that high point there drawing a line down to the back of that ear and then just separate the front from the back. I'M gon na do exactly the same on the other side. So high point there section down to the back of that here. So we've got a section got a section. There got a section there just going to clip that out of the way. So what we've got is we've got a high point section straight to the forehead splitting those both sides there and then we have got at the back from the high point back of the ear high point back of the ear, and i was going to put in Our guides, so we're going to go quite short and all i'm going to do is take a middle section like that and we're going to go to the bridge of the nose. Should we go that yeah finger resting on the bridge of the nose and then just cut that off, so you can see what this is going to look like. There'S our guide now section that out of the way you can put a clip in there, if you want to, i will so what we're going to do is just going to bring a section down the head like that, pull it forward straight out from the head. So we're coming just like that straight line away from the head pulling it straight forward. My guide is underneath, which is just there. I'M cutting a straight line like so and again straight down straight forward straight out from the head like that, and then just cutting that across there you should be able to see that shape happening. Now, when we come to the sides, we want to get bring it to our guide and then twist. So what we're doing is we are over directing this forward and then we're twisting it, which will give us a little bit more length and then we'll just cut it to our guide and again straight out from the head and you'll see that shape happening there. So again, straight down coming forward like so, and what you're getting is that shape like that? Extend another direct, that's straight forward to our guide, as you can see there and then just cutting that straight line, and what we'll do is we just want to style that fringe away from the face? Now you can see all of that texture all coming in there same thing on the other side. So, let's take that clip out clip this side out of the way again, the doors down push straight out interesting, one section down go forward, which is there now what you could do this to get more length you could over direct up or elevate you could bring It up to here, but i want to do a shorter version today - just want to get it sitting around there. So pull forward to my guide and then twist into the guide and then using that for down here you can see the guide just there yeah. So you want to be sitting quite heavy through there and that sort of shape is what we're going for. So we can get all of this shortness around here, just that really nice shaping around the eyes. Let'S move on to the back. What i'm going to do! Quite simply, is i'm going to take a bit of this section from the front and then again here i'm just going to cut it back just going to comb it back into this section clip out of the way this side out of the way, and then i'm Going to draw a back section, which i'll show you in a second, so i've just got this middle section running down the back, so that's split there that split there and then what we're going to do is we're just going to elevate up to the section. I just brought back from the front, so that's that there and then here's our length so we're going to put it up to the ceiling. There is and then plunk up to that. Okay, elevate going all the way down this section, i'm just elevating up to there until we run out of hair to cut so more there last bit of the middle section, bring it straight up to the ceiling. You can see. There'S none just some little bits of dust, and that's that section done so. What i'm going to do is i'm going to comb it into this side, as my guide get that clipped out next section through there and again bringing it up to our guide, which is here so the guide is sitting around about there and we're just going to Blunt cut, so this haircut is all blunker and we'll put some softness in after and then we'll just bring our next section up. So we run out of hair, there's still a little bit there, but that bit dropped out so next section through there next section through there, you can see the guide and what we're going to do is just cut along there, and this is the same on both Sides so up to there till we run out here, see there's just some little stragglers there. We bring up all of this back section and see what we can bring up to take off and there's nothing really again little bits of dust and there we go. What we'll do is we'll section back down there and we'll throw it into this side and we'll do exactly the same on this side guide there swallow down the head next section: put it up to the guys. You can see that heavy guide there now again and there's hardly anything as we get down to the bottom, so next section bring it up to our guide and we're running out here now. So this is the last of the sections there. We go just little bits of dust and there it is, that is a shorter version of a wolf cut. Now all i'm going to do is go in and put the length in i'll show you what it looks like now without it there's the back just nicely. Layered, look at all that texture in there loads of it. You'Ve got that really nice shape through there just a different way of cutting it. That'S all it is, but what i'm going to do? I'M just going to take this length off up to around about the bottom of the the mannequin stand mannequin's neck. So, let's give us just checking where the layers fall to, because we still want a lot of the shagginess in there, and i quite like this layer here. So it's going to sit there. So i'm going to go an inch below the mannequin's neck, just pulling it back to make sure maintain the length there we go. That is the length put in i'm going to get blow-dried and styled and you better check it out after and there we have it. A shorter version of a wolf cut: you can see all the texture. This is a structure beach by joyco. This is just a salt spray that i will spritz through. Let it dry off naturally, but you can see all that texture holding up that hair there. You want to get some more there, just hold it up there and support it, but there is so much texture in this haircut. So there it is. That is a shorter version of the wolf haircut. The popular haircut made from tic toc to a super cool trend, but i'm just refreshing on what we did. Middle parting high point of the head back of the ear back of the ear. And then we cut to the bridge of the nose. And then we brought all of those sections forward if it was on the side. We just twisted it where it was living down here and if it's living up there, we brought it to there on the back. We took a section out of each side brought it up, cut it blunt and the reason i cut it and the reason i cut it blunt was: i wanted all of that texture in there now. The reason this isn't a mullet or a shag is because it's a lot more condensed layers. When you look at mullets and shags they're a lot more loose a lot more free, i mean mullets. You'Ve got the real shortness around the face. No real connection as such, with shags you've got a lot more shagginess, a lot more like wispy ends and yeah that texture running through wolf cuts are very strong in texture, but there's just a lot of it and what you work on. What you want to work on with wolf cuts is volume and body which gives it that lift that texture and you can see there. I really like the short fringe as well. I think it works really well, whereas, where, with the other wolf cuts, i've done it's a lot sort of longer a bit more and sort of bangs real, disconnected bangs as such, but this is probably one of my favorites. To be honest, absolutely love it! So if you enjoyed the video, don't forget to hit the thumbs up button comment down below of what you think to this version of the wolf cup uh. Is it something that looks quite simple complex? Would you like something different, broken down a bit more uh but yeah? Thank you for watching uh. Don'T forget to hit the subscribe button. Uh truly means a lot, i'm on the hunt for 20k. That is my next goal. 20K subscribers. So if you can help with that, i appreciate it until next time i'll see you on the next video

Paul Watts HAIR: Check out my new SQUID GAME haircut video of Seong Gi-hun https://youtu.be/pZHFe6bbEM4

Tove onez: When you realize not all of us will rock that style as bomb as she does

Hello World: A friendly reminder that you can achieve it but you have to volumize and style your hair after every shower.

#: Different head shape, hair structure, short neck/long neck, etc. Don't get mad at your stylist if it doesn't look the same

Pixieofjoy: I like to cut my own hair, and your videos are so very helpful to me. THANK YOU!!

Nella Macias: thank u! I have my hair exactly cut like that but don’t know how to style it and as soon as squid game came out I was jealous of how perfect her hair was styled!

Dolly Murphy: I love this and used to have it cut similar over many years, and it really suits me. Over the last two years, I’ve been asking for a layered cut with softening around the face (like this) and, although I always go to top salons, I always come out with a Bob which doesn’t necessarily suit me. I hate bobs (on me), I am sick of them!I. It just seems as if many hairdressers today work from a very limited style menu… pixies, various bobs, or long locks, and think that you shouldn’t have a style unless it’s ‘the latest trend’. I’ve even had a battle on many occasions to get a fringe (informal/soft rather than blunt). I need to find a Paul Watts locally.

Bee 🌸: I used to have my haircut like this back in 2007 during the scene phase. It’s interesting to see this come back. I also got made fun of by my parents for having messy hair they just didn’t know I was a stylish queen

Ellen Noll: Perfect! I love to cut my own hair. Your technique make it so easy to follow. Question: the back portion, can that be put in a pony tail on top of the head & get the same results?

dani tapia: HOW DO YALL DO THIS ON YALLS SELVES, especially the back part

Maily Guerrero ꒦꒷꒦: Woa!! Quisiera que tu me cortaras el pelo, nadie lo puede hacer mejor que tu. PD: Me encantaría que hicieras el de corte de Choi Beomgyu, no se si seria el mismo que este pero realmente lo necesito.

Isabella: I’ve had this cut for the past year, and I love it. If you have wavy hair, this is a perfect look!

Renee Gast: I am not a beautician but have been cutting my own hair for a long time and I have been doing it all wrong on the sides..... I love the way you twist the hair on the sides.... your directions are really easy to learn from. Thank you Paul!!! Gonna go give myself a Wolf Cut now :)

saniel Rod: Would love to see some easy pixie cuts with long and micro fringe. Looks like pixies are going to be the up coming 2022 winter trend and would love to get a head start. I really enjoy your videos because you show us how to cut trendy cuts in such an easy way, it's fun to watch fancy techniques but I need to make things as easy as possible in the salon for myself. I have to be fast but give great cuts to my clients and your videos really help. Thank you for great and easy techniques!

Miriam: Perfecto! Justo lo que necesitaba

mai567: Love this! So simple, and so effective! Thank you so much!

derry: I have this haircut since the start of 2021, and I can remember a lot of people calling me a weirdo because of my hair, now they tell me I have Sae-Byok's haircut lmao

Deku Tarot: i cut my own hair and have been cutting it using the now trending “wolfcut” for years and i’ve been dying to cut it short lately so this is super helpful thank you!!

Carol Lewis: Love it# I tried it on myself and really like how it contours the face. Also, feels feminine and a bit edgy for a 50 yr old.

Halina: Did it yesterday on myself and it turned out great. Very quick.

Monica Barrera: One of the best and easiest wolf cuts i've seen. Thank you for this video!!!

WomenandGeeks: followed this and cut my wig myself. I think it turned out well! Thank you!

sky rayne: It's good to see some short hairstyles becoming popular, I knew I wasn't the only one thinking gosh she's got a cute hair cut.

Lily Blackwell: would be cool to see an overhead shot so we can see how you’re doing things from that angle

Random One: I tried to give myself a wolf cut and it looked really bad so i cut it to the shortest layer (chin length) well now i get hair compliments! :D

MandyMouse: Mr. Paul, you are killing it with this channel. Congrats on all your successful videos! I love watching you nail it and come up with all these great video ideas! *chef’s kiss* ❤️❤️❤️

Weird Sisters: I like how you’re just to the point and not pretentious and needlessly complicating things! Thank you!

Olivia rae: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. i alway cut my own hair, i’ve had it in such a boring flat bob for so long. i finally gave in and went to a hair dresser and was told that “they don’t do wolfcuts or shags” i saw your video and immediately started cutting my hair. i have never liked my hair more than i do now.

Cláudia soares sol: Gênio dos corte estilizado.fiz um dos seus corte em minha filha ela amou o resultado ,ficou igual da boneca modelo

ray angel: THANK YOUUU i just finished binge watching squid game and thought about getting her haircut! tysm!

vanitas: i did this haircut with my moms help and it turned put really good!!!!! thank you!!!

Thanks for the scribers: Great technique! That you didn't cut a border out line first but it works great! Did the wolf/shag in my days of cutting hair on my daughter which came out nice but gonna go in and use this technique! Ty!

sena ozbek: Imma be honest with everyone, i dont think anyone would rock that hairstyle as much as she does.

bKitteh: It's perfect! Wish my hair would do this. ‍ I haven't had a professional haircut in years, & my hair is hideous...

Brittany Ayala: Just cut my daughter’s hair like this, thank you she loved it.

Andrea Gomez: I'm gonna try this on me but shorter, and lighter on the perimeter to make it look more like Meg Ryan's signature look.

C h l o e B e a r: Not him changing the title to squid game but fr tho this is such a cool hairstyle

Douae AhouaL: I followed your tutorial and did this to my sister I am so satisfied with the results Thank you so much

AdventureTurtle: me: oh this looks nice *me after trying it* "woah it took him 20 minutes and it only took me 5!" *my hair style being a mess and not even close* :')

Danny: Tem bastante estilo ❤️

Kelly Payne: Gorgeous!!! I kind of have a cowlick in the front so I seem unable to get away with middle parts with fringe. Could this shorter wolf cut be done with a side part? Or would that be another haircut altogether? Regardless, it’s

Cecilia Junkins: I like the shorter wolf cut a lot!

Hannah bonbon: Finally I'm waiting for this. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Lynn: This video is more than great really!! I would also love to see how to create the hairstyle of anya taylor joy in the queen's gambit in the last few episodes.

J. C.: I love it, looks amazing❤️❤️❤️

sriya jasmine: i shaved my hair an year ago. when it grown without any shaping, looked exactly like this haircut lol.. i felt it weird and decided to shape it.. but then realise its a trend !

Seven Tamgd: Let's clap for those people who naturally has beautiful wolf cuts

Xai Elf: Just did this by myself following your tutorial thank you sm

juliana gutierrez: I take it as a sign! Yesterday I was debating whether or not I should cut my hair. today I wake up and see this video in suggestions! is the signal, tomorrow I ask for a turn for Monday!

⚇◍Akira Baka;-;公式◌⚉: Nem preciso ir em um cabeleireiro para fazer isso,eu já acordo com o cabelo assim mesmo. I don't even need to go to a hairdresser to do this, I wake up with my hair anyway.

camila morales: Me encantoooo Me gustaría que hicieras el de Hyunjin cuando tenía su cabello largo pls^^

Beeber Taylor: Love this. Great technique.

MintChoco Meow: I got this haircut a few weeks ago.. i simply told the dresser to do a simple layer cut.. he was complaining about my already short hair while I was only thinking about getting a wolf cut

SAL: Would this cut be good for thick, coarse, sorta wiry (silver), wavy/curly/multi-textured/frizzy hair and a LOT of it? I’m asking because I have been asking for a shag haircut in salons where I live for a few years now, and NOBODY will do it! I don’t know whether or not it’s that they don’t know what I’m asking for, or if they just don’t want to tell me that my hair won’t do that.

Angry very angry: I'm not even doing anyones hair but ur tutorials r so simple and fun to watch

Wanty Djo Naga: i wanna try this style when im middle school this seems cool and ik ik i have to style my hair lol Edit:OH- i already had a wofl cut but its like medium,so i need to cut just a little tiny bit and style it,seems easy i will try

Cecilia Carpe: Hola por favor puedes poner subtitulos en Español Me encanta tu arte y estilo ..gracias un saludo desde España

nabi: Damn that mannequin has healthier hair than me lmao

saskia: THIS. THIS HAIRCUT I NEED IT NOW

☆ ° • MoonStarlight • ° ☆: Can you do this or something similar on curly hair? It would be amazing, I want that hairstyle but idk what would it look like on 3b hair.

Hoonie Solecito: Omg is so perfect!!!<333

Andrea Gomez: Best wolf cut tutorial ever!!!

witch mountain: Hahaha you answered my question at the very end! Thanks. Xx

GalaxyPine: Would this haircut look good on curly hair? Like how you would see most mexicans curly hair (that type of curl) sorta wavy Also i know about cutting less hair bc i know it’ll curl up

TOXIC: I don't wanna regret it . God don't make me do it! It's Hella fire

belinay: People say my hair is short and more than enough. Maybe they're right because that's what we do with my hair. Not that it turned out well, but it's a lot of fun! It has become a hobby. People's opinions don't interest me. If I like it, I do it. We live in a very judgmental society. Don't let people's opinions upset you. do as you want to yourself for once in life We are coming

VALEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE🙈: Amiko, no te entendí nadala verdad, pero ese corte y esa chica es la PERFECCIÓN no a todos nos queda un corte así❤.

MA.: I’ve cut my hair like this a few months ago (asked for something like a shag haircut) but my hair has SO MUCH VOLUME, do you have any tips on how to reduce it?

JJ and Evil Animation: Оо да я искала это видео Спасибо !

Nekizio: Gracias en español ✨

Lisa Hurray: Not everyone could rock this hairstyle I think it depends on what type of hair u have I don't think it looks good on curly hair. but maybe when you know how to carry this hairstyle whatever types of hair you have you could still rock this hairstyle

Rock Crazy Gal: Love it. Is my best look. I have a long face. Like a wolf I guess lol. Makes sense. Great tutorial and

Misaki Mei: me watching this having curls knowing I'll never achieve this look like

Alaa Rojbani: You are amazing !! And your videos are so helpful

Samantha Hernández: Mi cabello es chino así que creí que no se iba a ver bien pero me arriesgué y se ve increíble, lo amo :3 Gracias! <3

Nicole Angela Waminal: this is amazing! I am planning to get a short wolf cut and finally found a tutorial! thank you, but how long did it take?

ghost: could you do this for curly hair? I saw a curly hair wolf cut vid, but I didn't feel like it was done right. I'm not even sure a wolf cut would work with curly hair... the bangs and layers would probably just be lost in the curls, but I'm curious! I haven't got my curly hair cut in 5 years and I'm looking for a style.

Heather G: It's still a shag...basic cut without texturising. Zooms me back to the 70s...as what I learned to cut. Great channel and much appreciated. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Claudia Fernanda Rojas Luque: Could you show how to remove layers when you have fluffy hair?

euphoria: i have wavy hair!! i thought people are obsessed with straight hair so i thought to straighten it. now i love my hair

Cathy Poole: Love it!

Ani_Kpop: I really love the volume and the cut

أيّهم: I really liked what you did you are so creative keep going ❗I cut my sister's hair like I did because she asked me to cut her hair like jung ho yoon in a squid game and she looked really pretty❗❗

-touya-: could you try how to cut your hair like the anime character levi ackerman?? i know it can be hard and hair stylists hate it when you ask for anime hair but i want to cut my hair somewhat like it, thank you!

cosm1c star: nice! do you think it will work on fluffy curly hair? sadly that's what i got

The Kawaii Simp: Can you show a video on how to get Beomgyu’s hair from TXT? His long hair? I have the cut but Idk how to style it.

Michelle McGraw: Love it!!!!

Krtapradhana Idn: So cool, I wish there was a barber like you here

ang: Hmmm im ngl I feel like her hair wasn’t this layered,, I remember getting my hair cut fairly short a couple years ago when I was like 14-15 and it was a really simple bob haircut with like barely any layering but my hair texture (wavy-straight) made it look exactly like hers maybe just a bit thicker cause I have extremely thick hair but yea idk this looks great I just feel like it’s a bit different LOL.

jungzzhoyeon: AAAAA IT LOOKS SO CUTE TYSM
