Hey gems, it's cinderella og and welcome back to my channel so y'all. Today, i'm going to be doing a chit chat, get ready with me for you guys, while i you know, add some beach waves to my hair. So i'm really excited because i've never really done the whole crimped look um in my adult years i mean i used to do it all the time whenever i was younger, but i'm really excited to go ahead and try this out. So all the information will be in the description box down below for this hair and we're going to go ahead and get right to it so guys, i know by the title: you're probably like cindy, why you got to bring down the black woman. What is you doing, but y'all this video is just for bands, it's just for fun, um and i'm still being honest. If i'm being honest, you know all these opinions of mine are valid and they're my own, so um yeah. If you guys agree with me, you're welcome to comment. If you don't agree with me, you're welcome to comment um. So let's go ahead and get right into the topic of the day, so today we're talking about militia. Now a lot of you guys may have been watching. Moisha moisha, along with other, shows um black leads on television are coming to netflix. Now this is not sponsored by netflix or anything like that. Just letting y'all know like i said. Opinions are on my own, but i'm very excited to see the other shows and the first one to come out was marisha now y'all. I have been screaming for years about how problematic militia is and how annoying the character moisha is as well, and i'm actually glad that a lot of people in our adult years. I'M really glad that everybody else is seeing this as well. I probably should start from the bottom up, but let's see what happens right now. Let'S see. Oh that's cute! Oh that's! Gon na be cute; okay, i'm probably gon na start from the bottom now, um, okay, so my bad, so yeah guys um. Let me go get clips from my hair and then i'll be right back all right y'all. So i'm back and i honestly don't need this um so guys as i was saying militia, it was a great show for a lot of us growing up seeing this beautiful black chocolate, dark-skinned uh beautiful woman in a lead having someone to look up to growing up. She was a straight a student. She um was on her way to his grade. Schools was in the paper or not the paper, but she she wrote for the paper the school paper um. She wasn't like you know the average popular cheerleader. She was smart. She was beautiful and she had a great head on her shoulders. Um she was supper. Dang moisha was stubborn emo. She was actually like a really horrible friend or being honest. I think alicia was very selfish. I think her one act of selflessness or two i'll say two acts of selflessness was when she um got liam rhymes. I think it's maybe i'm wrong uh. I think that's her name uh the country singer for kim to go ahead and sing. You know for her or whatever for that little mtv show that was unproblematic. That was a nice gesture that she did that and what else did she do uh whenever she tried to strike uh the the debutant ball? I think it was w tom ball. I'M pretty sure it was w tom ball, but um whenever she tried to strike on that for old girl that didn't like her muffy or whatever her name was she looked like muffy from um arthur but uh that girl whenever she tried to strike for her for The debutant ball - that was really nice right. You know like cool melisha, i see you, but that those are only like two things that she did that were like good. I can't really think of many other things that maui did that were like super good like that. Were notable like oh man, i, with malisha for this, like milisha man, she was rude to d, i mean so rude today. She was extremely fat phobic to her friend kim and not only to kim, but also her roommate. I don't know if y'all remember like, but when she got to college, she literally told her roommate that this guy wouldn't like her because of how she looks like she assumed that this guy didn't like her, because her roommate didn't look she's, like you know, everybody in La is superficial girl that includes you, how you gon na assume this guy doesn't like her because of uh her weight or the way she looks. Also, that makes me think okay. So how did you really feel deep down about kim all these years? And i know they talked about ken behind your bag and there was a episode that i even posted on twitter that little clip. I posted of me seeing her talking about kim on the phone and stuff like that, but like this was a constant reoccurring thing. Like everyone was like, oh, they always talked about nisi in her way, but like and yes, you know, body shaming is body, shaming period, but it was just a constant thing of militia continuously being problematic and not having to really answer for it. Never having to answer for it, if you ask me, i mean, can we talk about how she outed the gay classmate and then shamed him for it in the same episode, i was so confused because i mean how are you going out somebody and then tell them? Well, i mean you know you should be true to yourself like in in a society in that moment, where you know y'all live in crenshaw. Is it crunchy? They live in? What was it wherever they live? Y'All live somewhere where, let's be real at school, they was talking mad, like you know, smack about him like about him being gay and not in a good way. Like. Oh okay, we're accepting this, like you know living your truth. It was more of like a no one's really gon na everyone's gon na make fun of you and no one's gon na accept you of you living your truth, but how was moisha not seeing that? Instead, you want to shame him for not living in his truth. Girl is it because he curved you or is it because that you know you saw uh tracy, hmm? Is it because tracy came up and tracy was like, you know, i'm staying and you know really shamed you for being real, because tracy was a bad tracy. Was a bad he showed up and he said i mean okay, that's fine or whatever, but how are you doing? He ignored he paid militia dust dust? Maybe that's? Why? Maybe that's why i don't know all i know is that moisha she has some issues like girl. Oh, that is so cute okay, so i'm gon na go ahead and do this half and then i'm gon na come back and show you guys what it's looking like and then we're gon na resume with this hat all right y'all. So this half is done. Looking nice and beach wavy, so let's go ahead and resume with this side um, but, as i was saying guys now, some positives. I do want to know about moisha um, showing the black father in the household loved it loved it loved it loved it, because how many shows are actually how many times does society try to um depict black households not having a powder in the household? You know what i mean so seeing that positive image of a father well in the first but three seasons because season four or was it season five season, five and six and everything kind of blew up when he had a whole, illegitimate child the whole time. Well, you know, that's just like all right all right, so everybody everybody can't be perfect. I get it but like um, i feel like they try to tarnish an image of frank i feel like they tried. I mean he wasn't that great either. If we're being honest like who calls her daughter - or he call her a well either way anyway, you cut it, he called her something that he should not have called her princeton. What we're not gon na do is that so, whatever he called militia out of line out of pocket out of line so that i do not approve of but um i enjoyed seeing uh, frank and dee and how they you know worked throughout this household i enjoyed Seeing a black show, black television show encouraged therapy uh for young people. I really did enjoy that. I really enjoyed the fact that, like even dee was like no i'm in therapy like yeah, i i see someone and it was like just breaking down these stereotypes of black people and mental health, and you know so early on. I like that. So you know there are some positives of boisha and also moisture. Being a brat also could be a positive as well. Listen to me think about it. How many times have you seen black little girls just be black little girls and not have to be like the full-on activist or not to be this loud or obnoxious or, like you know, just try to defame black women in whatever way or whatever right. How many times have you seen that, like a black girl just acting like a regular girl without any real repercussions, you know you don't see it often, so i'm actually glad that moisha got to be the little problematic girl that she was in some sort of way, Because it showed that you know we can just be, and that honestly has a lot to do with this new, proud family. That'S coming out. A lot of people are seeing there's a lot of controversy behind kiki palmer's, new role in um, the proud family, louder and prouder um being an activist little girl. I don't know how old she is in the show, but um she's, like a young activist or whatever, and a lot of people are like. Why can't black girls just be black little girls and that's it, and i understand what people are saying, but i do think that this is a time where i wouldn't mind seeing that, especially with what has been going on in society. As of late, i wouldn't mind seeing that i wouldn't mind seeing a girl that uh, you know, looks like she could be in her teenage years, fighting the loud, the loud and proud fight. I don't i don't mind seeing that i think that's a positive image. In my opinion, however, she better not be the only ones on the front lines. You know she better, not be the only one, because time and time again we're put out to be this whole heroic and uh strong black woman and no one else is there to have our background offend us. So i just need to see a lot of positivity going that way for that little girl in that show, i will be watching either way you cut it. So i just hope it's what we need, rather than what uh yeah. I might think we need all right. Y'All with this last one right here, do i even have it in my clan. I think i do this last one right here we are bonito. This is what it looks like. This is really cute. Oh, my god, this is so cute. What do you guys think it was a cute style? I'Ve never done anything like this. Before look at that, i, like that, a lot this is so cute, y'all, so y'all. I think that is going to be it for today's video. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Um cute little chit chat, get ready with me that we're doing today and um, if you guys have any questions, comments, concerns anything that you have to add to my little spiel about milisha. Go ahead and comment in the comment section down below um go ahead and like this video, if you like to come down below what you liked about it and subscribe to your girls channel, go ahead and check out this beautiful hair, go ahead and check out all The information on this hair in the description box down below this hair is from all love and i will be seeing you guys in the next video sleepless in beautiful gems, and i love you guys so much smooches. You

Malikah O'Dell: I miss the black shows that aren’t about them being black. It’s just them living their everyday lives. I’ve been binge watching Moesha and I’m definitely gonna be binge watching sister sister too I don’t want to see a tv show where the little black girl is some “strong black woman” and an activist

mjordie97: The episode where Moesha father bought her the car and she didn’t want it told me all I need to know about Moesha lol

Janae B: I really liked that Moesha just got to be a problematic teenager and didn’t have to represent her whole race the whole time. And I liked how she was a straight A, involved student while still dealing with the struggles of growing up and especially boys. It added variety to black girls to TV. My biggest problem with Moesha was Frank and his parenting skills before and after the Dorian fiasco.

dryka147: Was she problematic or was she just a growing teenager learning herself, how to treat others, and emotional intelligence? Just being honest, we were all Moesha at one point or another in our lives and some people are STILL Moesha today lol. We’ve all treated our friends poorly before. We’ve all believed in something so much that no one could change our mind (head strong), we’ve all assumed things about other people before knowing them. We’ve all put ourselves in situations that had nothing to do with us. We’ve all been there before. I think Moesha is one representation of the evolution of a growing teenager. Now, Frank and his parenting is problematic! That should be the conversation lol.

Lydia Georgia: Let's not forget Hakeem putting Moesha in her place when she was jealous that Kim got picked for the cheerleading squad and she didn't By the way your hair

Briana Forrester: I binge watched Moesha this last week and I really didn’t like how they treated Kim. She was beautiful and she was not even fat. Although I love the show, Moesha was annoying as hell! Have a seat Mo.

The Wholesome Flow: I can’t be that mad because moesha made me feel represented. It’s hard to find good black sitcoms nowadays because none of these characters honestly “look black”, more biracial . But I love your videos so I’ll keep watching lol

Stacey Ayineé: I love Moesha and the representation of black women. However, Moesha was very annoying she was very judgemental of a lot of things and stubborn. I thought during the seasons they will develop her character, but they didn’t. Overall, it’s a good show but I wished they explored their characters more.

Daniella Ojugo: It also bothers me the way they treated Myles. He had some valid points but they always sent him to his room. That’s not healthy

Nabri Love: I love Moesha. I feel like it touches on important topics such as drug use, teenage pregnancy, etc. I do however hate the fact they painted Frank in that narrative. It's like they prayed on their own downfall.

Emmanuella dorsaint: Omg I thought I was the only one that lowkey found moesha judgmental and lowkey kinda mean . She treated kim like shit . The episode where neicey was trying to help her with chemistry pissed me off because she refused to believe that neicey could be better than her at something . She was so fucking rude to her friends . When I was younger I was super jaded so I didn’t really care but now as a young adult if she was my friend I would have dropped her she’s not a great example of what a good friend should be like period . Also to be honest kim had way better outfits than her , and was super funny and sweet

Ashley B.: I was just telling my fiance all the Kim fat jokes literally make me cringe. At the end of the day outside of being a character that is a Real woman.

ohthatsmic: I’m here for this title because I feel the same...toxic friendships, toxic relationships, toxic parenting....I used to really be glued to the show but as an adult, I see all the underlying issues

Atoya Turrentine: Are we forgetting this is based on a teenager? We all were problematic at that age!

ItsJaclyn: I was literally watching this show, one thing I couldn’t stand was them being so mean to Dee. She doesn’t deserve the hate not just from Mo, the whole family. She’s human too.

Cynthia Lashawn: Moesha was very far from perfect, but I feel she was portrayed like that for her age. As teenagers a lot of us at that age are not the most aware (especially at the time) but looking back that was how high school life is like. Looking back being older we def can see really identify the flaws a bit more being more matured.

jackaria bell: He called her a tramp, but I agree with everything. I was progressively getting mad at how mo would be acting and I really wanted to fight Frank. I felt at certain things he was over reacting.

JujuLuvsGlitznGlam: Moesha was my show. But you are SPOT on about the points you've touched on. I loved her because I love Brandy but girl. As a kid, I used to be like damn that's mean

Daniella Ojugo: Exactlyyy I was just talking about this with my friends the other day but they said I was reading too deep. I always disliked how she treated Dee who was so patient. And the episode where she got mad that her friends raised money for the Africa trip bc she didn’t want their help like what...

Lissa Sharnae: Yes she was so selfish and ungrateful..like who turns down a nice car like that

Bethany watersone: Anyone remember that one episode when one of moesha’s friends painted that mural in the cafeteria and Moesha started that whole debate about it. I seriously did not like that ending honestly like I felt like that was not a good compromise cuz the mural was beautiful and they did should have had that representation

Lequon V.: Moesha really pissed me off in some episodes like girl they fundraised money for you to go to Africa too and she was so ungrateful and when they called Kim fat like come on. Oh and don’t get me started on trying to include herself in everything.

Maureen E: I never watched it when I was younger. I just started binge watching it recently. I am only on season 2 but I agree that Moesha was very condescending towards her best friend.

Teddie G: So glad to know I’m not the only one who felt this way! Moesha and Frank were so annoying. Like I get she’s a teenager and he’s a protective dad, but my goodness...

Le'Elle Davis: I agree with you. I never knew how much stuff was in this SHOW. Like sitting back and rewatching it especially now as an ADULT it seems so different

Surina: I am watching Moesha on Netflix now and didn't realize how much of a brat she was. To me its a bit unrealistic cause she gets away with too much esp the fat shaming Kim had me done. And she got away with outing her gay friend. Very self centered too it made it hard to watch tbh. But I like that view that Moesha could be a little black girl and be herself without the stereotypes. Overall I like the show.

LifeOfAmaka: you were speaking facts for a straight 14 minutes!! I agreed with everything you said. Stay blessed as well love ❤️

Dionna B: I really thought I was the only one! Now that I’m older and looking back at how I reacted to a lot of the episodes, now I’m just like “girl wth wrong with you” lmao she shaded Kim sooo many times about her weight & I didn’t notice as a kid ya know? And then the whole car thing with her dad.. hella ungrateful lmao I could go on.. long story short, I totally agree with you.

Raven: Moesha was terrible! But I think the purpose was to give her and some people around her all the terrible characteristics to show a reflection of how we can ALL act. So people can steer away from that mindset and behavior. Kind of like the ugly side of the world and of people we like to ignore.

Ange 10:10: Love ur commentary u are a 100 percent right I was literally watching the two episodes you mentioned last night its true moesha character is very self serving but she does come with a few positive traits also it balance things out and as for Mr.Mitchell character (Moe's Dad) I fell that the network was trying so hard to discredit Mr. Mitchell it really made me sad as a teenager when saw that and I stop watching moesha shortly after cause in my mind im like dang they are just like everybody else now it hit me hard. You put together a lovely video this is my first time here I look forward to seeing more of your content keep it up

Leah Scott: Everybody wants to talk about the Kim fat jokes but we gonna sit here and ignore the way they treated Niecy? Even Kim was constantly making fun of how skinny Niecy was and Kim made fun of Moe’s butt. Yes the fat jokes were unnecessary and cruel, but they did them to all the characters’ bodies which is equally as wrong but everyone ignores it

Korli Cymone: I agree with everything you said! You made well rounded points

niyahhh !: i remember when i asked my mom the other day “which one do you prefer? The Parkers or Moesha?” at first she said Moesha, then she was like “Naw, The Parkers because Moesha stay getting ha ass- i mean tail in trouble”

Kiara Alexis: Moesha hated on Kim all the time and that’s why the Parkers was wayyyy better than Moesha . Frank was problematic also .

Ebruba Anita: Yes girl! Your opinions are valid and they are yours.

The One: I want to say this literally every video. Cindy. You have the most perfect eyebrows!!! Gimmeeee

Kaylah Jackson: I think we have to remember what time frame this came in, I look at shows in movies within the time period it came in. Hopefully we will be able to deal with racism to a point that black people cam have problems on screen. Even now people critic Insecure and its representation of different things, but real people have real problems..all the time

Kiera Holmes: Umm no ma'am! Black shows from back then, are more realistic than the black shows of today. Moesha, parkers, half and half, sister sister, and girlfriends where my shows. What messed up the show, was bringing in Ray j and how it switched from there; felt like ray j always was messin up something good.

Justice Jones: I loved this chat! Looking back on the show it was for sure problematic !!!

certified boy lover: ok so when you said she was mean to dee it’s really hard having a stepmom. i feel for her cause my mom died too when my dad remarried it was hard to establish a good relationship with her. but after a while they understood each other end got close and were able to come to each other.

Tyra Bullock: I noticed that after season 2, they stopped giving Kim the attention she had before and dumbed her down. Before, she was just a gossip, hilarious, and full of heart. She felt real! Then they made her into a trope with one liners :(

Jahnique Mills: This doesn't relate to video but I really love Cindy's voice, it's the perfect mixture of a baritone voice and a feminine voice, I don't really know how to explain it.

Maame Amoako: the Halloween episode when they were talking about Kim's weight when she was still on the phone.. FAKE

trinity2times: cindy you look great, I hope you’re doing well luv

jjbear beautiful: I feel like moesha shouldn’t have been portrayed as such a problematic character. If their was a character like her it should’ve been a side character, because it makes her ( the main character who reflects the feeling of the show) look bad.

Alyssa Sade: Girllllll I tried to start it the other day and the first episode started with her complaining ABOUT EVERYTHING!!! I was like dang this kinda killing my mood and I turned it off I’ll probably watch it one day tho.

Style By Sheena: So right about Moesha. LOL

Ashley Jay: I like the show But I think my biggest issue with Moesha was how ungrateful she was. She had so much freedom and got so much from her dad and still was always complaining. I remember when I was a teenager my parents literally never let me leave the house unless it was with them or to go to school. Everytime I heard her complain I’m like girl shut up and I think frank was a good dad. He tried to keep her out of trouble and out of dangerous situations with boys.

1994Dan: Was Moesha problematic or was she being the normal teenager that we all are and were

TDre: Loving this look!

Hailei A. Hall: I get this... for me it’s some of the underlying jokes and scenes... like in one scene they cracked a joke on sister sister, talking about “those twins with the long faces.” I believe Andell said it to Moesha... it never was one of my fave shows. Sister Sister and The Parker’s was and still is two shows I love!!!! But it was good to watch again and pick up on more things I may not have when I was younger

LifeOfAmaka: When she brushed it out I was in love

The chosen one: Something worthy mentioning, is that during this specific climate globally NETFLIX decides to air this

anon y: She really was an entitled brat huh? Idec tbh I wish we got more carefree darkskin main characters tbh It's been really entertaining watching people to react to how low key problematic our old favs were since they've been added to Netflix. I need to start binge watching before they get taken down.

Ebony Ohen: THIS HAIR!!? A whole vibe. and agreed about Moesha’s character lol she was definitely problematic but I do appreciate the authenticity of her just being her bratty self.

Exclusively Eda: Hate that when a black girl finally gets her own show the character is just terrible like damn why yall gotta do that

Michelle Te: I always thought these tv shows were like cautionary tales for teens. Meaning the main character is just a blank canvas for whatever the lesson of the episode is. Only a few characteristics are consistent for the character but not too much that the writers box themselves in. For example Moesha’s white childhood friend who comes back years later, they date and encounter racism and they acknowledge the world still has people who are ignorant. They hug, say goodbye and we never see him again. Like most teen shows Moesha revolved around topics of body consciousness, acceptance/tolerance, step parents, siblings, school, the opposite sex etc. And she kinda served as the foil so sometimes she would exhibit ignorant or selfish behavior and then during the progression of the episode we, the audience would learn through Moesha why she was wrong etc.

Chuck Doeee: But also mo was a teen majority of the show and teens can be annoying

Joshua McDowell: The episode where Moesha thought that she was ready to have sex with her boyfriend Aaron until she found out that he wasn't a virgin and she shamed him for that. For one, I don't know why Moesha would think that Aaron was a virgin when he was older than her and already in college.

Kikachukwu Ezedunor: Lol when Cindy said indiocha, I’m like girl are these people going to understand that? . You look gorgeous Cindy!!

Janiya Winchester: Just wanted to comment because Cindy is so beautiful! lol ok Ima watch now

Kuldoxy: As a Nigerian, I grew up watching "My Wife and Kids and The Parkers. Never watched Moesha, but when I heard it was now on Netflix, I looked forward to watching it, but now I'm beginning 2 think twice. I mean was Moesha that mean? Is d show worth watching?

TishaHearts: Watching moesha rn lmaoo for the first time. Yes i agree with everything you said.

Ebay: I relate to a lot of “problematic” teenagers, Like in fiction with The popular cartoon characters like Steven universe or Finn the human And will smith or moesha, Cause it’s like I was a growing kid like them at one point and I still am???

T O M M i E: The only things I disliked about moesha was how she treated Dee and how Myles would be dismissed as if he wasn't apart of the family. My favorite character was and always will be Hakeem

Samuel Williams: I think you should have a whole tipsy Tuesday on how about Moesha being problematic

mango punda: Living single..... That's the show i want

Fanta Kaba: I agree, especially the fact that they're always shading Kim for being "fat" smh...

Season Of She: The Proud family spin off, I find no problem with it because I’ve grew up knowing the older you get the more society hates your blackness. I just don’t want her blackness to overwhelm, the show because she’s in her teen years. I’m saying like the first season don’t have her blackness, be the storyline of the show. Make it like a issue with one of her friends, or what she will see around. I just don’t want her blackness to water down, the actual show because keep in mind THIS IS A SPIN-OFF.

Taliyah Campbell: I think Keke Palmer role fits her to the T and penny proud had an activist episode as well...im hella excited

A.J. HARPER: He realist character on that show was Hakeem for me. Seeing a main character who was spoiled and selfish wasnt cool for me. It really depends on certain people who can relate to her though. Rewatching this was like rewatching the Prius family. I see friends snaking each other, parents who low key disrespect each other. I can watch it for entertainment but you realize that some shows were just good for its timeline. If this came out now I dont think it would've lasted. Also ray J storyline killed the show for me.

Boujie p: Love this x

Mami Chula: Moesha is so relatable. She’s every teen girl growing up. Yes she had her moments where she was catty and selfish and sneaky but she also had moments where she was sweet and you could see her trying to develop and find who she was and her place in the world. I was so young in the 90s lol I was born in 94, but I grew up watching these shows. They showed me it’s ok for little black girls to act out and be themselves or be bratty just like all the little white kids and that I won’t be treated differently. That I don’t have to be strong or act grown. It’s literally just a kid being a kid lol the good and the bad that naturally comes with being childish and growing up.

LuvinBowz: she was a growing teenager. plus .. the show was done in a whole diff time era. please remember that while watching it in this day and time.

BahD Shop: MOESHA was literally about a teenager growing up and her growing pains... she’s exactly like many of the girls in the 90s were and kids today are way worse. I think it’s weird we try to diminish what great black shows were like most of it wasn’t and isn’t reality

Ohsnap Osei: Hella rude to Dee, dam I was clenching my jaw at some of the scenes my Ghanaian mom woulda backhanded my behind

Lord Lex: I can not NOT cringe with all the fat shaming and body shaming then outing someone what tf!

TiGara Smith: Can you do a furnished apartment tour please ! ❤️

LadyRuler: I wanted Mo to get smacked just once! Lol She was very self-righteous and borderline arrogant.

Siscokid35: I’m sorry but I would have to agree watching Moesha now as an adult In my 30s it hits me very different I just think her character was so annoying like if it wasn’t about her she didn’t like it at all ! I love the parkers way better and I feel like countess Vaughn doesn’t get enough credit she is a way better actress than Brandy and funnier I’m just speaking facts ! ‍♂️

Maya Ross: Lol I liked Moesha and her theme song told y’all who she was “Not realizing my responsibility it’s me” lol and she did help the valedictorian at her school when he was homeless and he was raising his sister by himself she had her good points and her bad either way Mo to the E to the Moesha (and she could sing brownie points)

Anthonia: what was your favorite episode or moment of the show? I love the end result of the curls as well

Pigdog: I watched Moesha when I was a teen in the 90s in Norway

Janet Ndomahina: I clicked this sooo fast

Sade Grant: Frank & His Double standars were iratting ‼️ Moesha was very spolied & nosey

Kgare Motsamai: Yesss Queen ❤️

Egypt Lundy: Dee was very passive when it came to Frank

Milk Homie: Moesha seems fine to me but ok expect when she kept bullying Kim.

Bee Bee Simmer: "I thank she puurrdy " SUBSCRIBED

Helen Duru: I feel like niecy was seen as ghetto and not attractive because she was dark skinned even though she was beautiful

MaryJoann King: Lmao you just gon slide Ndiocha without translating for the non Igbo’s.

D HB: I like that she has problems i feel like the show isn’t like bad or anything I just think that moesha is small minded sometimes like every teenager and she had issues. To me j like that they didn’t make her perfect and made u dislike her sometimes

Tee: The way they was fat shaming Kim tho ☹️

CeeBee90: Moesha was a great show. It was showing a black teenage girl free to make mistakes and learn and grow and mature as any teenager should. If she was poor, on drugs or a baby momma would that be better for you? By the way are you african american? Just curious.

Bassie Mokone: Wazzop Gems! ✨

Jayson Daniels: Tracey did her dirty lol

christianaayodele: Didn't see anything problematic about Moesha. Just saw a depiction of a type of black teenager, growing up and learning.

EastsideLegend: You are beautiful

Gunnel Gainey: I mean she was a teenage I'm pretty sure yall wasn't no angels when y'all was young it was teenager girl doing what's than her especially now

Poised N Polished: Some of y’all are faking the funk lol. Everyone is talking about “normalizing black girls in luxury “ “black girls need standards” etc and then when y’all see one ....y’all think she is insufferable? Entitled? If y’all want to dissect this show then let’s talk about ALL of it. Her dad was a dusty, dee accepted his dusty-ness (such a tragedy), hakeem was a mooch, Kim couldn’t hold water, niecy had a broke mindset and they always talked moesha into dumb stuff then bailed on her when trouble comes. Moesha was a child and she was more independent/free thinking than a lot of us at that age(be honest) . If she was spoiled then you need to ask yourself WHO raised her like that. Put yourself in her shoes. Would y’all really have friends like Hakeem them? Her dad was a cheapo who wasn’t even the breadwinner. He literally took all their money to start his business without consulting with dee (who was the breadwinner). He had the nerve to say Moesha looked like a tramp for wearing her midriff out but encouraged Hakeem to have a relationship with a woman almost 10 years older than him. Everyone had flaws but folks are going in a little too hard on miss moe
