SUMMARY:

- The eye color of babies from 3 to 18 months old can become darker if the number of melanocytes in their irises increases. Depending on how much more melanin develops, a blue-eyed baby can end up with green, hazel, or brown eyes.

- According to Dr. Ivan Schwab, a clinical spokesman for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, head or eye trauma can result in a condition called heterochromia, which is when a person’s eyes have two different colors.

- The pigments in your iris compress or spread apart, making them darker or lighter, when the size of your pupil changes. Your pupils, in turn, can get bigger or smaller depending on your emotional state.

- There’s a theory in alternative medicine that the color of the irises and the health of the internal organs are connected. It’s called iridology. However, there isn’t a lot of scientific proof backing it up, so it still needs further research.

- When it comes to bringing out certain pigments in your eyes, makeup and clothing can truly work miracles.

- Innovative eye color correcting laser surgery doesn’t come with so much risk. The procedure involves using a laser to destroy melanin cells in the irises, making them appear lighter.

- Of course, the quickest way to change your eye color is to pop in some colored or decorative lenses! But which one is right for you?

Now you might assume that the color of your eyes is something you have no control over and that it's all genetic, but have you ever wondered why your eyes look a bit lighter on a sunny day or why the eyes of people who are in a rage Seem to go dark all of a sudden yep. Your eye color can change, depending not only on the lighting or your mood, but a whole slew of other factors. Now, before we embark on our colorful topic, be sure to click that subscribe button and turn on post notifications to join the bright side of life number one melanin and aging. If a baby was born with greyish blue eyes, don't be surprised if they end up with a different eye. Color later on blue eyes are a result of a low melanin content in the irises, causing them to reflect more light versus absorbing it. This phenomenon in the eyes is called the Tyndall effect and it's kind of like Rayleigh scattering, which is what makes the sky appear blue next time. A toddler asks you why the sky is blue. There'S your answer now, the eye color of babies from 3 to 18 months old can become darker if the number of melanocytes in their irises increases, depending on how much more melanin develops. A blue-eyed baby can end up with green hazel or brown eyes. The darker they get, the more melanin has appeared in their irises over time. In fact, the final eye color sometimes isn't even fully established until the age of 12. On the other hand, babies who were born with brown eyes experienced no changes and they maintain that eye. Color for the rest of their lives due to a high content of melanin, the outer layer of the iris absorbs more light instead of reflecting it resulting in that beautiful brown color. So you see it's a lot more complicated than just genetics and your parents eye color number two and injury. The color of your eyes may also change due to an injury or accident. According to dr. Ivan Schwab, a clinical spokesman for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, head or eye trauma can result in a condition called heterochromia, which is when a person's eyes have two different colors. Of course it can be genetic, but heterochromia also happens when the melanocytes in your eye are shaken after a traumatic event. This trauma to the melanin in the eye can transform the iris to a lighter or darker shade. When the heterochromia is the result of injury, it requires immediate medical attention. Dr. Schwab says that it can also be a symptom of an illness such as Horner syndrome, pigment, Airy, glaucoma or late stage. Diabetes number three: your mood yep, your heart rate, breathing and blood pressure change when you experience emotions like happiness, sadness or anger. Most of us are familiar with our body's physical response to emotional stimuli, but still it was proven in a study conducted by the University of Arizona. What you might not be aware of is that your emotions also affect your eye. Color, the pigments in your iris, compress or spread apart, making them darker or lighter when the size of your pupil changes, your pupils in turn can get bigger or smaller, depending on your emotional state. Remember how people who are really mad seem to have darker eyes. Well, this is why these dilations in the pupil are the same reason why your eyes may look lighter or darker in different lighting. The pupils become smaller in bright light, making your irises appear lighter and vice-versa in dim lighting, number 4 raw food diet and detoxing. Now, there's a theory and alternative medicine that the color of the irises and the health of the internal organs are connected is called iridology. However, there isn't a lot of scientific proof backing it up, so it still needs further research. Dr. Robert Morris, a natural health and detox expert with over 42 years of experience, says otherwise. He believes that the inner portion of your eye is connected with a digestive system and that by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, you can actually change the color of your eyes. Dr. Moore's explains that a high concentration of yellow hues signifies a large number of toxins, but he also explains that every person's pigment is unique and requires an individual analysis, but in general, Moore's recommends eating spinach to keep the eyes youthful and bright honey. To add warm hues and seafood to make the color more intense other foods that can affect the color of your eyes are olive oil, onions and nuts ooh, those almond colored eyes, owner and founder of live love. Fruit, Carly Frazier also stands by Morris's theory. She went raw vegan for six years and saw for herself how her clean diet changed her eye. Color. Her wants dark green eyes with brown specks turned light green blue with green flecks. She didn't just see a visible change in the color of her irises. She also managed to improve the work of her digestive system and saw that the whites of her eyes became clearer and brighter as well number five makeup and clothing. If you're doubtful about the whole iridology thing then try this quick trick. Instead, when it comes to bringing out certain pigments in your eyes, makeup and clothing can truly work miracles, for example, if you have brown eyes and want to make them look, lighter, go for eyeshadows or tops that are gold, pink or green. As for you blue eye green eyed, babes, a hat, you can reinforce the intensity of your eye, color with the use of turquoise, emerald and blue. Now, if you have hazel eyes, you can make them look more Brown with the help of purple or more on the green side. If you wear a burnt orange, you, neutrals, like white gray and black, can help underline your natural eye. Color. If you wear glasses, ask your eye doctor to make your lenses with a our coating. Not only does it neutralize glare, it also enhances the color of your eyes number six laser lightening of the eye. Color. Now, beware: invasive eye surgery is very risky and can even result in blindness. Dr. Greg, homers, innovative and way less invasive eye. Color correcting laser surgery doesn't come with so much risk. The procedure involves using a laser to destroy melanin cells and the irises making them appear. Lighter so people with brown eyes can have blue or grey eyes. The whole thing only takes 20 seconds to do and the final results become visible within two to four weeks. His research shows that the operation doesn't affect vision whatsoever, but it's still relatively new and still needs further analysis of any potential side effects. Number seven number: seven colored contact lenses. Of course, the quickest way to change your eye color is to pop in some colored or decorative lenses, but which one is right for you. According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a colored contact lenses tended and can correct vision. Decorative lenses are for cosmetic purposes only and don't correct vision. You can go for natural eye colors or even get creative, with a lot of different prints like cat eyes, spiderwebs white outs, black scleras, creepers and smileys just be extra careful with decorative contacts, because they can lead to serious eye problems if you're planning to buy you Need a prescription and they should be fda-approved and medically safe. The US Food and Drug Administration prohibits purchasing from unauthorized sellers like street vendors, boutiques flea markets, novelty stores, convenience stores and online shops. BRIGHT SIDE: Hey guys! What's your favorite eye color? Would you like to change yours? You can also improve your vision at home, click here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ3ki1dCcnw

rach ritch: To all the brown eyed people here who want to change their eye color, I love your eyes. I have green eyes and I love my eye color, but for whatever reason, I'm almost exclusively attracted to people with brown eyes! Love your chocolatey, beautiful, brown eyes <3

Skyler Wray: I grew up with dark brown eyes. I noticed recently that they had shift over to more hazel over a period of time. I found out that my dad had the exact same thing at my age and he end up with light blue eyes in his early 30’s.

Justine Harper: I have four sibling who all have beautiful light blue eyes. And I got dark, almost black eyes. I was kind of sad and bitter about it until I had kids. My first two were born with the beautiful light blue eyes (even though my husband has brown eyes as well). Then my last baby got my dark, almost black eyes. Seeing them on him made me realize they are beautiful as well . (I still want to try color contacts someday though just because I’m curious how the different shades would look on me lol)

Meme Universe: The color of my eyes are a mixture of brown, green, and blue eyes. The inner ring around my pupil is brown. The middle is a green shade. And the last ring is blue. But there is a very thin dark blue ring around my iris. I also see a wavy white ring in the brownish-green ring around my pupil too.

Alex: For anyone saying that you’re older than 12 and think it’s already too late, don’t worry there is no age limit to changing your eye color. It just gets harder to change due to the amounts of melanin you accumulate over the years. Melanin is not permanent whatsoever.

Cool Shanté: Son: Dad, why is the sky blue? Dad: It lacks melanin son.

alex sax: 8 Thing. Color change depending on the seasons. My grandmother had extremely dark brown eyes in the winter and completely blue in the summer. This phenomenon seems so rare that I have never heard or seen it anywhere, not even on the Internet. And we in the family always wondered how that was possible.

David Ward: I was in a Montgomery, AL Walmart to get my eyes checked by their eye doctor. She was very nice and we found out we were related. Dr. Beavers noticed my eyes went from Hazel to Blue and I told her that happens when I find a female attractive. She blushed but she had never see it up close like that.

Wendy Hughes: Each person is unique- and why change oneself to the extent of putting unnecessary items- such as contact lenses in one's eyes- for mere appearance sake. We need to appreciate what we have rather than feel we need to change our appearance to the detriment of our health.

Atlantian Son: Here's something that the video didn't cover-in some of the examples given, your eyes only appear to change color; they don't actually change. Also the color of the clothing you're wearing will also cause your eyes to appear different. My maternal grandmother, a maternal cousin and I all have the same looking eyes--they are blue/green with an orange aura around the pupil. If we wear blue shirts, our eyes appear more blue; same with a blue hat. If we wear green, it brings out the green color in our eyes. When my grandmother reached 80, and I think due to a long term illness, her eyes changed to light blue. They lost all the green melanin cells. Whether you believe it or not and I've had lots of people tell me this isn't true. I assure you, it is most definitely true.

Giselle Yatzy: “The color of your eyes may change due to an injury or accident” *stands in middle of road* HIT ME

Sheeran Call: People can have black I’ve seen it many times, one of my sisters to begin with at her 6th month check up our mom said the dr. kept flicking the penlight off and on in her eyes, my mother finally asked him if there was something wrong with her eyes, he said her irises were so dark that he could not find her pupils.

Star Galaxy: I have green eyes and am happy with my eye color. I was just interested in making them a lighter green. Like how they look in the sun, but all the time.

EnglandLad: I use to have Damon salvatore royal blue eyes, as I got into my 30s they seemed to change colour to a blue/green like khaki green. When asked how this was possible at an eye test they said it wasn’t. However I’ve used eye drops daily and being on medication for a number of years. So it is in fact possible.

Sunny: The color of your eyes does change even after age of 12. Was born with blue, but at 14 they were grey/blue, at 20 they were gray, after 35 they are hazel (green, blue, brown, gray mixed and look different depending on the mood and light)...Everyone is individual. My husband was born with blue eyes and stays with the same color for all his life.

Cass Tay: My eyes are dark brown, deep set and small.. But hey, they have worked perfectly for 47 yrs! Thank you, eyes!

Ann-dee: I’m happy with my green eyes… I never knew that an injury could change the color of your eyes very interesting!

Ella's Mommy: My eyes used to change multicolors from Gray to Green to Hazel to Blue to kind of brownish depending on my mood or what color I was wearing. If I had a fever they turned a bright beautiful shade of blue. When I went through menopause it kind of took all the colors and put them all in my eyes at once. So now they're kind of green blue gray brown. They don't change color at all anymore. After she had her second son, my daughters' eye color turned to kind of a seafoam green. They were blue greenish beforehand.

Christine Kaye: I used to have green eyes with flecks of yellow. Now the yellow is gone and the remaining color is darker. I can't tell if it's blue or green or a dark teal. I miss the lighter green color, but I won't try to change it.

BuzzBerto 🐝🍯: This was really interesting because I've always had deep bright blue eyes but lately they've been more of a grey and blue

Justanother Person: Who clicked on this video cause you have dark brown eyes?

Beaux R. Benoit: Age. Sometimes they will cahnge over time depending on work life and genetic background, same with vision. With a Native American background, as i beileve I've read, changes twice a year. They get lighter for Spring and Summer, and darker for Autumn and Winter.

optie: I was born with blue eyes, but it changed to a light gray color with a gold shade around the pupils.

Jade Queen of the Dragons: I like the ideal of fun contact lenses. Just as I like changing my hair color for a few months.

The Rainbow Starperson: When I was a baby, I was born with dark brown eyes and by age 24 they turned hazel after I became raw vegan at age 20, so… your theory about dark brown eyes never changing is wrong I guess it makes sense since Mom has hazel eyes and Dad has bluish-greenish-grey eyes

RizvE: Fun fact: Most of the people have dark brown eyes

V.Keisake: I was born with brown eyes but recently I've started getting green in my eyes I doubt they will turn fully green but there's definitely green which wasn't there before

Hazel_Gaming: Actually my cousin told me when I was born I had Gray eyes and my parents told me it was true. I now have light brown eyes while my family has brown.

BEN drowned🇺🇦: I have an original character who has heterochromia. She was always insecure about it, so their mom helped him get *safe* decorative lenses to change the colors of her eyes so they matched.

Tanja Gagovic: For me is the second one. when i was a baby i had blue eyes now i have green eyes. This made me understand. Im so glad i found this channel!
