How To Tie A Ponytail Scarf : Updos & More

Hi I'm T Cooper, I'm in New York, City, makeup artist, hair stylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company Metro. Look. Today we are going to talk about how to tie a scarf around a ponytail, so this is kind of a retro issue. Look because they used to do that a lot of times in the 50s they put a ponytail tie scarf around it, which i think is kind of dope. So I'm going to use an animal print scarf because that's the kind of girl I am and, as you can see, my model already has a ponytail in there and a lot of times. When I do ponytails, I wrap the hair around the base, because this is a pet peeve of mine. I don't like to see the holder showing, but since we're going to use a scarf, there's no need so I'm going to start from underneath I'm just going to go around it a couple of times, because this is a pretty long scarf. But she's got a lot of hair, so it's all good and then now that I'm left with just the tail end of this just enough, I'm gon na make a knot and then I'm gon na let it go and now she's looks like she's ready to go.
