Today'S video is all about this really cute flat twist updo stay tuned, I'm starting this dab on freshly washed hair, I'm going to begin by parting, my hair in the middle starting with the front section that I've divided into three parts. I'M going to take my extra butter and massage the product in starting from the roots down to the ends. I'Ll then take the shining star too still in my moisture with my product applied I'll, take my diamond brush to detangle. Now I'm going to flat twist for my side sections I'm going to flat twist towards the middle and continue twisting all the way down to the ends. I'Ll repeat this on both sides. Now, it's time to flat twist the back portion, I'm just going to divide my hair to install medium to small twists after I've applied my product. It helps to pull all of my hair going forward so that I can easily flat twist going upward you once I finish the flat twist I'll continue twisting all the way to the ends. Let'S take a look at that process. Again, I'm holding all of my hair going towards the front. This makes it easy to install my flat twists going upward. You also want to make sure that your hair is nice and detangled. It helps to make this process go a lot smoother, since my hair is wet doing the installation of these flat twists. You want to take your time if you feel more comfortable. You may want to pull your hair aside and allow it to air dry before you install your twist and here's the completed, look for the sides and back and don't worry a little later. I did ask my husband to give me a slight edge up for a nice clean. Look for the front, I'm just going to dampen my hair. Just a little bit and massage my product in from roots to end hold I'm going to use just a small amount of the curly magic. A little goes a long way after massaging in my curly magic, I'm just going to install a simple two strand twist. I'Ll repeat this process further here that I have remaining in the center here's what it looks like after all of my twists have been installed now for the hair that I have flat twisted in the bag. I'M just going to create a small, simple bun, take the ends of your flat twists and just begin to roll and tuck those into place. Then use bobby pins to secure your bun. You can easily wear this as a protective style. While you allow your hair to dry, I want a little more definition on the ends of my twists, so I'm just going to use these perm rods to set my ends. I'Ll just allow my hair to air dry overnight. After removing my rods, I'll take my shining star, just a cobra here and add additional shine I'll start, removing my twists by unraveling and beginning at the roots all the way down to the ends. This helps to alleviate frizz, while maintaining definition. Once all of my twists have been removed, I'm just going to do some additional separation, which will help to add volume. I'Ll then, take my pick to lift at the roots to add additional volume and fullness. And here is the finished, look to maintain the style. You can sleep with a satin scarf wrapped around your sides and back and then a satin bonnet to protect your curls in the front for a list of all the products used in this video.
