Hey guys back with another simple updo option for proms weddings, overly any event, I'm doing this on an old curlformer set with flaxseed gel and shea butter, but this can be done on old or newly set hair. So my hair was parted down the middle before microfilm were set, but you can part it anywhere you like and, as always click the links for more deets on how you can set the hair, how to make the flaxseed gel and the shea butter mix. So let's put this dial together, I start by sectioning off all the hair in front of my ear on one side, we're going to braid the rest of the hair and we want to make sure to exclude this section so secure it up and out of the Way to make sure my hair lies neatly, as I braid I'm gon na smooth and bobby pin the hair to the side of my head now we're going to grab a small section of hair over the ear to start if your children use the predefined curlformer sections. So that you're not separating hair, causing frizz and begin to braid the hair notice that I'm grabbing predefined groups of hair also notice that I'm adding free hair from the back of my head and I'm incorporating it into a fishtail braid. Now I won't go into details on how to fishtail braid. I already have a video for that and I'll link it here, but if you guys want to update a tutorial, let me know in the comments so continue: adding hair to the fishtail braid. Once all the hair has been added continue the braid all the way down to the ends again, it's much easier and you'll get better results. If your hair is already in defined sections from tools like crow formers, flexi rods or rollers, or even twist outs, so that you don't need to separate the curls causing frizz the less frizz, you have the more visible the fishtail pattern will be so now our braid Is done if need be, spread the braid out to make sure it's nice and wide then secure the end with a discreet hair tie and a metric hair color all right release the opposite side of hair. Oh, you can now remove the bobby pins since the hair is secured and I'm just going to use those bobby pins to smooth down and secure the opposite side of hair, so it doesn't lose and again create a fishtail braid since there's a lot less hair. In this section, you'll want to make sure to braid loosely to get as much width as possible once the braids halfway complete it swing it around to the back and bobby, pin the braid near the middle of your head with the rest of those loose curls twist. The hair loosely so it stays nice and thick and wrap it around itself in the middle to create a loose bun, then bobby, pin the bun in place now grab the end of the fishtail braid and wrap it around that bun in the middle tucking. The ends into the bun and then Bobby, pinning in place use as many bobby pins as necessary and be sure to secure the bottom of the braid as well. Now remove the bobby pins in the front. Now because my hair is so dark, I'm adding some accessories to emphasize the definition. If it's for prom try something sparkly. If it's for a wedding, try something floral and I like to add them right with a braid and bun meat, and that's it a beautiful fishtail, updo, perfect for prom or for a wedding that can be dressed up or down. So I hope you try it and I hope it helps still going strong at my 2nd channel check it out for some fun daily vlog action. I'Ll see you there

It actually grew faster when I would straighten it. Could you do a video on why the shedding could be happening?
