Welcome back to the channel today, i wanted to do a good, old-fashioned beauty, video, and i wanted to show you three of my favorite updo hairstyles that are absolutely going to transform your hair game, we're going to start with a cool messy textured low bun. This almost looks like my wedding hairstyle, that i did, if you remember that from a few years ago, but it's really easy to do then we're going to do a slicky, very glamorous, high bun and then we're going to do a sleek, chic straight fashion, pony okie Dokie, let's begin so the first style we're going to do is this kind of like cool messy low bun, and the trick with this is to have something to anchor your hair. To now what i mean by that is, you want to start off with separating the top and bottom half of your hair. Just grab this top piece there and clip it away. Now we're going to grab the bottom half of our hair here and just put it into a little messy, bun quite low here at the nape of our neck. So just start with a little pony like that, and i'm going to just spray this with a little bit of hairspray just to give it some grip and sort of bunch it up together like that, and then i'm just going to twist this around and create a Little baby messy bun now i'm going to unclip the top part of my hair and what i want to do is create some texture and some waves up here. So i'm going to go with my oh there. It is my trusty little ghd, platinum plus, and i'm just going to grab pieces, not very large pieces, but i'm just going to basically put little kinks and little ways throughout this whole top section. Now you get the best effect with this style. If you interchange the direction of the curls that you're doing so bring some towards the front and some towards the back, so that you've got a little bit of that messy texture. Okay, so that's super quick and easy to do, because you're really only curling the top part of your hair. So as soon as you've got some curls in there, you sort of want to run your fingers through it and mess it all up a little bit. And then, what we're going to do is take pieces and sort of use that little bun that we've got at the back there as an anchor to pin all of these pieces into what i'm going to do is i'm going to start at the back and i'm Going to grab this piece here and i want to sort of create a bit of volume, so i'll push that up a little bit with my fingers, then get a bobby, pin and pin that to the top of the bun, then get a piece a little bit Closer towards the front and pin it towards the back and then i'm just going to keep going through and grabbing sections like this. Sometimes it's cute. If you want to go for even more feminine style to give it a bit of a twist like that, so it maintains a little bit of texture. If you can see that and pin that and there you go, that is how easy the first hairstyle is. So really the trick with it is to just have that little bun down the bottom there to anchor all of your piecy little curly pieces too, and then you end up with this sort of messy textured low bun. It'S super easy to wear. It can be really cute with like a casual little summer dress or it can actually look quite glamorous. If you, you know, amp things up with some jewelry and whatnot. Okay style number, two, let's get straight into it, so this is going to be a slicky high. Bun with a bit of a twist, so i've just parted this front section here, so i've taken a little side part and just separated this front sort of fringy area. Now i'm going to pin the rest of my hair back and begin by working on the front section now before i apply any more heat on this, i'm actually going to go in with a bodyguard the heat, protect spray and i'm going to work on this little Fringe piece by piece, so i'm going to separate the first little section and then i'm going to get my platinum plus and i'm going to do a nice tight, curl straight from the roots all the way to the bottom. Now, i'm going to gather that all together with my fingers and wrap that around like this to create a little loop like that and that's when this little clip comes in, because you just want to pin that exactly like that. Now i'm going to do that same thing, all the way down this front section now, while i let these pieces cool up here into place, i'm going to work on the rest of my hair. So i'm just going to take this out and go for a little bit of mousse, because i want this to be a nice slicky updo. So i'm just going to kind of pop a little bit of mousse just so that i can easily grab it all and slick it all up. Then i find these brushes are the best. If you want to go for like a nice. Look how much that, like grabs everything, so i've just secured a little high pony here and now i want to build even more height. So i'm going to just do like a loose little twist and secure a bun like that now to clean up any edges and make this look even slickier and sleeker. I'M going to get a little bit of dramatic, ending and just kind of give this a little bit of a gel down, see how much like gloss and shine. That adds, and now it's time to let these down. So you basically just want to go through and gently take out all of these little pins and then we've got ourselves a really cool glamorous looking fringe, so i'm just cleaning it up with a few little spritzes of perfect ending hairspray. Just to make sure it looks nice and neat, and then i want to go in with shiny ever after and give that even more shine and there you have it. That is updo number two all done and dusted again something that's super easy to do at home. Really you just have to play with it a little bit, but it looks like such a put together polished, glamorous style. So all we've done is curl this fringe area, so that we've got these beautiful sort of, like this glamorous side sweeping fringe, and then everything else has just been pulled up into a sleek bun, and this is the effect that you get. This look is definitely more on the dressed up side of things like if i'm wearing a cocktail dress or an evening dress. This is one of my go-to hairstyles because i just feel like it adds so much cool factor, and it's really not that hard to do at all. Okay for look number three we're going to do a slicky, low fashion pony. I'M sure you guys see this all the time i feel like every factory girl on instagram. Really just this is the go-to look. So i wanted to show you a couple of tips and tricks just to make that even more polished and cool looking. So i do have some serious waves going on at the moment. So the first thing we're going to do is just section off my hair and run a straightener through this, so that i have a nice blunt ponytail. So i've straightened my hair, but as you can see, i'm not sure if you actually can see in the camera, but i have quite a few fly. Aways like all here. There are little hairs here. There'S all these little baby hairs, and i obviously want this to be nice and neat and slicky. So the first thing i'm going to do is get a little bit of my mousse just one pump and i'm going to run my fingers along. My part like that and just slick down whatever i can with my hands, then to clean up all of the little areas around my face, like all these little baby hairs all around here and even down here, i'm going to go for dramatic ending, but i'm going To put a few pumps of that onto my hand like this and i'm going to get an eyebrow spoolie, so i'm just going to dip that in there and then, with this little spoolie, i'm going to collect all of the little hairs and slick them down. Did you see that now i do always find it neatest to secure a ponytail with a bungee cord, so i make my own by basically putting two little bobby pins on a elastic like this and then what you do. Is you just pop one of the bobby pins in you wrap this around the hair like that until it's nice and tight, and then you insert the other bobby pin in the opposite direction, then this next step is probably my best ever little life hack. So you know how people that put up a ponytail if they've got longer hair, they can kind of grab a piece of their hair and wrap it around the elastic to cover it. Well, my hair isn't quite long enough to do that, so instead, i just take one piece of extension like this, like a single clip in extension, and i actually want to wet this a little bit first, so i'm just going to take a pump of mousse and Give that a little bit of grip, and then i grab this and i clip it from underneath onto the pony and then i wrap around the elastic and to give it that extra little shine. I go in with some shiny ever after, and i kind of put this where, like i would imagine some highlighter to be so. I want like there to be some shine here and here. So just do that and that's how i end up with a really cool neat little fashion pony super blunt super easy to wear with anything. This is definitely a style that you can wear casually or in a formal setting and it kind of works with pretty much anything so guys. I hope you enjoyed my three little looks today. These are definitely three of my go-to looks that i just have in my back pocket. So whenever i'm getting ready and i'm like - oh, i need to do an updo. I can kind of just pick and choose between these styles and they're really easy for me to do almost like on autopilot, so i wanted to share it with you guys. I hope you found it somewhat interesting. Let me know in the comments below which is your favorite style, i'm really curious to know and uh. Please leave a little love on the video. I would highly appreciate that, and in the next one, we're gon na be back with a vlog, so i'll see you there bye guys to the right all night.
