Today's hairstyle is a simple diagonal French Braided updo style. I love this one because it gives the traditional French Braid a modern flare. I hope you are enjoying the hairstyles of the day so far!

Hi, and welcome to my channel! I am a Beauty Addict and love to create how-to beauty tutorials for short hair and hairstyles, makeup, and lifestyle in general. I try to make my videos informative, creative and most importantly entertaining. Sometimes it may be dry humor. I warned you.

We are starting today's video with the hairstyle of the day already complete. This is what it's going to look like if you guys want to see how to accomplish it. It'S fairly simple: if you know how to braid keep on watching alright, so I'm going to do the French braid is where you take the outer sections and you cross them over the middle section, and this French braid is going to be different because it's going to Be mostly focused in the back of your head and at the front what you think is a really cool modern twist. Now that I'm done braiding from one side of my ear to the other side of the ear, you see how it kind of goes in a diagonal versus straight or kind of swooping. Around kind of goes in a diagonal which is gives it a really fun twist. So now what I'm going to do, I'm going to go back into the braid and pull it apart to exaggerate it, and of course you know, I got to continue with us more texture and dimension okay, so we think you might have, but that's all I'm going To do I'm going to pull it apart and then I'm going to figure out what I'm going to do with this little portion here I might leave it where I might tuck it in and see what looks to hide this little gray portion at the very end. What I'm going to do them is going to roll it and tuck it right, underneath the braid kind of like behind the ear. This is great. If you have shorter hair, you know you don't have that much to tuck and hide when I take my mini bobby pins and then just secure the bottom portion and there we have it, kept it nice and simple. If you do know how to braid. This should take you less than five minutes. Honestly, it's very simple if you know how to braid, if you don't know how to braid practice practice practice, that's all I can say that's. We all have to start from somewhere, but I love this one. It'S very simple! It'S a modern twist on a French braid and I just thought the way it looks maybe curl your fringe like I have, and I think just looks great all together and this completes the hairstyle of the day before you go. I have one question for you guys. We were thinking to kind of switch it up when we do hairstyles, not all the time, just sometimes maybe incorporate fashion as well and/or makeup just to show you guys how I would put it all together. Gina S: Love the new idea concept! ***also, if you can't braid very well another idea that I've used is a 2 strand rope braid. It's easier and less intimidating. It doesn't stay out as well as a 3 strand French braid though. So while you're perfecting your braiding skills you can still rock this look and look gorgeous!

However, I have a somewhat grown out inverted bob so a lot of times the styles will start out great but get strange at the bottom. Numbness Ray: i cut my hair short after having hair down to my waste and i miss the days of throwing my hair up and walking out the door in a messy bun. my hair is so thin i can't do any of these styles without it falling out even after days of dry shampoo lol. it gets soo thin at the end and it makes me so sad. this is an adorable style! i think i have too many layers in my hair to do anything with it lol.
